Very nice atmosphere and the food and service was also great, we spoke with Juan initially who brought us in and looked after us the entire time. We ordered the Châteaubriand and our waiter Hamzi was very polite and cooked our food perfectly. Great service and great food. Would 100% recommend anyone to come here if visiting old town!

Had a great meal for our family of four on a warm October Thursday evening. The tapas was best value of restaurants in the area. The pizza was good, so was the grilled chicken and meat paella. Would gladly go back.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch for 4, we ordered of the specials menu and had garlic shrimp appetizer along with a sizzling lasagna and cake. Not to mention some vino tinto, cerveza and cava! Leo welcomed us into the restaurant and the service was fantastic!

Definitely great place to visit for dinner! We had various meals in our group - meat paella, salads, chicken wings and salmon and all the meals were delicious! I also highly recommend to try their garlic bread with mozarella. After we ordered first, we just had to keep ordering more. Also the waitress were super nice. Completely satisified!

Direkt im Zentrum von Alcudia. Trotz vollem Lokal kam das Essen prompt. Bedienung von Juan war sehr aufmerksam. Gute Tapas - Patatas Bravas , gegrilltes Gemüse, Zwiebelringe frittiert und calamares frittiert. Für 2 Personen sehr gut dimensioniert. Wir wurden dann noch auf einen Espresso und einen Tee eingeladen 😊

Siamo stati al ristorante Alcudia Sombrero e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Il nostro cameriere Leo è stato davvero gentile, attento e professionale. Abbiamo ordinato della carne: cotta alla perfezione, tenerissima e davvero squisita. A fine pasto Leo ci ha anche offerto un limoncello, gesto molto apprezzato che ha reso l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Consigliatissimo, torneremo sicuramente!

We had an excellent dinner at El Sombrero tonight. We didn’t booked but got a nice table for two outside. I was looking for vegan food and I definitely find my happiness here. The Vegan paella was super yummy, and for tapas : pan con tomate and croquetas filled with spinach were suitable too ! Very nice , not too pricy and all waiters were friendly , speaking French English , Spanish 😊 Ps : if you are vegan , there is a ice-cream with plenty of flavour in front of the restaurant 😌

Ich war mit meiner Freundin in den letzten 3 Tagen, 2 mal dort Essen und waren jedes komplett begeistert. Wir haben jedes Mal den Hauswein Weiß und Rosé getrunken dazu insgesamt 6-7 Tapas und diese waren ausgezeichnet. Wir empfehlen jedem einen Besuch!

Das Sombrero hat uns mit dem Satz "fragen sie nach dem Vegetarischen und Veganen Menü" gelockt. Der nette Mitarbeiter hat uns alle Veganen Varianten und Möglichkeiten vorgestellt. Wir hatten eine vegane Tappas Platte und eine vegane Paella. Beides war sehr gut gewürzt und ordentlich gekocht. Auf alle Fälle einen Besuch in Alcudia wert.

Hier passt eigentlich alles. Ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen in diesem Ausmaß nicht. Wir kommen während unseres Urlaubs mehrmals mit drei Kindern und fühlen uns wohl. Toiletten: neuwertig. Wenn Kunden das Papier am Boden schmeißen, dann müsste man wohl eher diese Kunden bewerten. Essen: super! Service: auch super! Location: super. Try it.

Returned for our second visit this week after our delicious first meal and wasn’t disappointed, the food was incredible, the staff remembered us and that our daughter is vegan, we were greeted like old friends and rewarded for our loyalty with free Prosecco on arrival and limoncello following our meal. 5 stars all round

In der Fußgängerzone von Alcudia gelegen. Super nette, freundliche Bedienungen. Großartiges Essen. Ob Vorspeisen oder der Fischteller, einfach grandios. Ein Likörchen zum Verdauen auf's Haus. Und absolut annehmbare Preise. Also wir waren nicht das letzte Mal da.

Almoço muito gostoso, ambiente tranquilo e o Léo é um atendente espetacular! A Paella mix muito saborosa (e serve duas pessoas a depender da fome!) e o mix de tapas muito gostoso também.

Its a nice atmospheric and shaded litle place. We have split a good pizza. The drinks are a bit pricey. The waiter was extremly friendly and helpfull. There wasn't any wait for the table and we got our food in good time. The cost of the food is a bit expensive butit is to be expected from a place in a place like this.

Die Bilder sprechen für sich: Ein saftiger Burger inkl. Pommes, welche bei dem Burger im Preis enthalten sind. Dies stand nicht auf der Karte und wurde extra nochmal nachgefragt. Ebenso der Caesar Salad ist deutlich größer von der Menge als bei anderen umliegenden Restaurants in Alcudia oder am Strand von Alcudia. Wir sind in das Restaurant gegangen, da uns die günstigeren Preise als bei der Konkurrenz ansprachen. Den Tag zuvor haben wir ebenfalls auf dem selben Platz bei der Konkurrenz gegessen und waren etwas enttäuscht vom Caesar Salad, da nichts drauf war und der Preis 3 Euro teurer war. Hier bekam man eine ordentliche Portion. Der Burger und die Pommes kosteten ~14 Euro. Ich kann nicht verstehen, weshalb das Restaurant solch schlechte Bewertungen hat, da ich auch sehr auf Google vertraue bei meiner Auswahl des Restaurants. Nachdem ich die Bewertungen gesehen hatte, war ich erst misstrauisch und wollte nach einem Getränk aufstehen. Gewagt haben wir es trotzdem und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Kellner sind wie in Spanien üblich nicht immer ganz aufmerksam wie man das aus Deutschland gewöhnt ist, weil man selbst auf sich aufmerksam machen muss, wenn man noch etwas möchte. Überzeugt euch selbst und vertraut nicht immer auf die Bewertungen anderer Nutzer. Habe ich nun auch gelernt und würde wieder in das Restaurant gehen. Guten Appetit!

We had amazing dinner last Sunday. Staff did everything to accommodate to our needs. I eat a vegetarian Keto diet and they were super helpful and patient answering all questions and were honest about their recommendations. Great place for tapas as they had a good deal for 6 tapas for €16pp . I had a mixed paella for 1 person that was delicious! Lovely sangria, nice vibes from the busy old town . And prices were good too !

Im Sombrero in Alcudia habe ich eine richtig gute Paella mit Seafood gegessen – und das Beste: sie wird sogar für eine Person angeboten! Das ist auf Mallorca eher selten und daher umso erfreulicher. Die Paella war hervorragend – reichlich Muscheln, Garnelen und Tintenfisch, perfekt abgeschmeckt und ein top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das frisch gezapfte Bier war angenehm kühl und richtig lecker. Der Caesar Salad kam deftig daher – mit Speck und kräftigem Dressing, sehr sättigend. Die Sangria hingegen war eher durchschnittlich, mit Früchten und etwas Zucker versetzt, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Bedienung war ruhig und zurückhaltend, dafür aber flott, aufmerksam und akkurat. Insgesamt ein schöner, authentischer Ort für ein gutes Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre. Empfehlenswert – vor allem für alle, die Lust auf eine richtig gute Paella auch allein haben!

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Alcudia Old Town. A good selection of meat options alongside vegetarian options too. Lamb chops fresh and tasty, seasoned with garlic and herbs, accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Pizza also fresh tasting and nice flavour. Service great, not over the top but enough for the experience to be enjoyable.

Restaurante razoável, emprgados nao muito simpaticos , atarefados na sua rotina ,sem ligarem muito ao cliente. Comida boa, pedi cogumelos ao alho e paelha negra , estavam bons mas ja comi melhor. Nao foi mal, mas talvez experimenta-se outros restaurantes a volta antes.

Passed this place and decided to give it a whirl. Two hank marvin teenagers and a hungover wife that required food. Unlike many reviews on this place, we found our waiter brilliant, funny, helpful and polite. The food was fine, it didn't require bells and whistles but it all tasted good. Our family of four left satisfied and happy. The price was simular to other eateries in the area. I normally avoid restaurants that place pictures of their food on the walls but this one didn't disappoint on this occasion.

We had an amazing experience! We came from Portugal to make a report about the best spots in Alcudia, and thanks to Google we found this fabulous place. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with great kindness and professionalism. A special thanks to Léo, who received us in an outstanding way – always attentive, helpful, and truly professional. He definitely made our visit even more enjoyable. El ambiente era muy bueno. Después vimos las reseñas del sitio y la verdad es que nos sorprendió mucho. Para nosotras sería un sitio en el que repetir sin lugar a duda.

Wij hebben er deze week op zondag- en dinsdagavond gegeten met het gezin (mijn man, 2 zoons van 13 en 16,en ik). Heel vriendelijk personeel, alleen één man leek er niet zoveel plezier in te hebben, er kon nauwelijks een lachje vanaf. Dat maakten de andere twee ruimschoots goed, gelukkig. We kregen de eerste drankjes van 't huis en dekentjes voor het geval we het toch te fris vonden buiten (we hebben de dekentjes niet nodig gehad). Ik heb er heerlijke paella gegeten en ook de andere leden van ons gezin waren heel tevreden over hun eten. Een van de obers spreekt goed Engels en probeerde ook nog een paar woorden Nederlands te spreken. Enige minpuntje dat ik kon ontdekken waren de toiletten. Die waren echt niet oké. Ik wilde gaan maar heb me toch maar bedacht. Voor het damestoilet stonden kratten hoog opgestapeld. Dan maar naar het herentoilet. Het slot werkte niet super en ik vond het er niet schoon. Dan maar niet, ben terug naar onze tafel gegaan.

Das Essen war teilweise ok, aber zu Hause kochen wir besser. Bei den Tapas haben wir uns sehr über die Mozzarella Sticks und Kabeljau Kroketten geärgert. Günstige TK Ware aus dem Supermarkt, die für den 4-fachen Preis verkauft werden. Wir hatten selbstgemachte erwartet. Insgesamt haben wir uns über die 65 € geärgert, die wir am Ende bezahlt haben :/ Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und ungeduldig.

Sehr schön gelegen, mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Personal war schnell, wirkte aber genervt wenn man was fragen wollte. Essen war von sehr gut bis hin zu durchschnittlich. Je nach Gericht sehr kleine Portionen (Spaghetti Bolognese wenig und fade). Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis mittel. Damentoilette war eine Katastrophe, Toilettenteile waren defekt.

Das Essen war top , allerdings nervt es wenn die Fussgänger einen aufn Teller schauen . Noch viel schlimmer sind die Kellner die quasi hinter einem stehen und lauern das man fertig wird . Essen bekommt 5* und Service 2* Ambiente ebenfalls nur 2

Ehrlich gesagt kann ich es nicht empfehlen.Wir sind dort in der Altstatd gewesen um entspannt was essen zu gehen.Wir haben uns dann für das Lokal entschieden.Haben verschiedene Tapas genommen und sind absolut enttäuscht. Die Mozarella-Sticks für 12,90€ waren TK-Ware aus dem Aldi oder Lidl-Frechheit, die Kabeljau-Kroketten gefühlt auch Tk-Ware,kaum Fisch enthalten ebenfalls 10,90€. Das Gegrillte Gemüse war okay. Aber im großen und ganzen für 2 Getränke 4xTapas 60€ Das war es absolut nicht wert. Keine Empfehlung

Le menu enfant laisse a désirer. Meme nos loulous n ont pas mangé le burger. Pas de bœuf haché mais une espèce de chaire a saucisse. Aucune sauce ni fromage a l intérieur, ni rien d ailleur. Très déçu pour 9 euro autant manger chez soi son Burger. Paella riz a moitié cuit et très salé. Entrecôte dur a marcher remplis de nerf. 3 pommes de terre en guise d accompagnement. En gros je recommande pas du tout au vu du prix.

Attrape touristes par excellence, plats évidemment surgelés et prix excessifs pour certains plats. En observant en allant au toilettes j’ai pu remarquer les congélateurs datant de la guerre froide. Une demi tomate et une demi mozzarella coupée 14€ !!!! En plein repas nous avons entendu un gros rot provenant de derrière le bar, ils n’ont pas l’air de s’ennuyer. Heureusement que le serveur yamine lamal était sympathique pour remonter un minimum la note.

Kompletter Reinfall! Die Kellner haben gefühlt NULL Bock. Er dauerte 20min bis unsere bestellten Getränke ankamen. Es war recht wenig los, einige Tische waren noch frei, Innen war alles frei. Die Muscheln war extrem trocken, die wirden über Tage immer wieder gewärmt! Seit bitte cleverer als ich und schaut euch vorher die Bewertung an, 3,6 hätte bei mir alles gesagt.

Ich empfehle nicht. Paella, Ravioli nichts besonderes. Mein Mann hat Burger gegessen, das Brot war alt und trocken, das Fleisch auch trocken .... Wir haben leider spät die Rezension gelesen.

It is such an over priced place with quite below average foods, I would not day it is horrible, it is just below the supermarket ready to eat foods level. Fish is overly fishy it is not crunchy at all, bones are still there, Tapas set is quite average using quite quite cheap Ham and Cheese.

Awful food, not very expensive but definitely not worth the time and money. We had the garlic calamari, and meat balls starters and the calamari weren't cleaned well before cooked. We had to spit half of them and the bone of the calamari was there too. The meatballs were teastless. For main we had sea food paella and burger. The paella was okay. But the burger was unedible. The fries/ chips were fine. I would not recommend.

Ich war ein wenig enttäuscht von der Qualität des Entrecôtes. Es war durchwachsen und nicht wie gewünscht medium gegart. Dies entspricht nicht meinen Erwartungen an ein gutes Entrecôte.

Waiter is extremely rude, looks and acts like he hates every tourist, makes rude comments regarding what you order to your face. There are restaurants closer that are alot more welcoming. Pizza was 2/5, like a store bought pizza, but the waiter was the worst.

Tapas Menü war wirklich schlecht. Die geringe Menge mit Dekorsalat versucht aufzuwerten. Geschmack nicht gut. Fleischballs nicht durchgebraten. Pizza geschmacklos. Gläser dreckig. Service sind Inder. Absolut keine Empfehlung

It s a shame that they are keeping empty tables for people how want to eat , and rejecting us because we only wanted drinks. They lyed us also by saying they don t have coctails just to send us away. All this at 21:20 and they close at 22:00 . This kind of service is nowdays inacceptable. No wonder they have all kind of negative komments hier .

Wir waren vor Jahren schon mal in diesem Restaurant und völlig begeistert also besuchten wir es in diesem Urlaub wieder. Leider müssen wir gestehen das, dass Essen nicht mal ansatzweise dem Stand von damals entspricht. Die Bedienung war nur am Anfang nett und dann einfach nur noch unfreundlich genervt. Nie wieder.

Ausschlag, Verdauungsprobleme und eine Paella wie ich sie noch nie gegessen habe (mit TK Chicken Wings). Das Service war teils nett, teils unfreundlich. Ein Wettbewerb darum, wer nicht lächelt. Dieses Restaurant hat einem wunderschönen Urlaub einen sehr faden Beigeschmack gegeben. Auch wenn es durch viel Laufkundschaft immer wieder Gäste bekommt, würde ich das Restaurant niemals empfehlen, weder beim Essen noch beim Service.. FINGER WEG!

Wir waren mit 4 Personen gegen 13.30 Uhr zum Essen. Gegen 16.30 Uhr hatten 3 Personen Brechdurchfall über 24 Stunden. Wir vermuten dass es am Fisch lag, da die einzige Person der es gut ging kein Fischgericht bestellt hatte.

Insgesamt eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Die Lage des Lokals ist das Einzige positive hier. Das Essen war nicht sonderlich gut und kam in wirklich extrem kleinen Portionen. Der Service wirkte gestresst und ging auch auf Nachfragen eher weniger ein. Ganz besonders schlimm war jedoch der Innenbereich! Zu den Toiletten kann man wirklich nur sagen EKELHAFT. Die Spülung funktionierte nicht, keine Seife mehr da und die Toilette auch von außen nur verdreckt!

Ci siamo fermati velocemente per 2 birre e patata bravas in buona parte della Spagna non ne ho mangiate mai di così cattive…. Erano soltanto lesse e non c’era la salsa tipica. In cucina tutti cinesi. Nota positiva? Il bagno pulitissimo con tutto il necessario

Most expensive food and worse quality we got in Alcudia. Very mediocre food, and waiter was moody and looked unhappy all the time. So called Greek salad was just a joke, and even didn't have cucumber in it. Did not feel fresh as expected. Only two slice of tomatoes... Beer tasted fine though (0,5 liter for 11 euro).

Oh man, ich wollte mich doch mit schlechten Bewertungen zurückhalten aber dieses „Restaurant“ hat sich dafür mehr als qualifiziert! Absolut unfreundliches und desinteressiertes Personal, sehr schnell genervt wenn es bei der Platzwahl mit zwei Senioren über 80 mal etwas länger dauert. Beim Bestellen wird man noch nicht einmal angeschaut. Konversation und Aufmerksamkeit gleich null. Aber jeder kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben - aber der „Koch“ auch? Wir haben Pizza bestellt - was wir bekommen haben war an Frechheit nicht zu toppen: die „Pizza“ bestand nur aus trockenem Teig und zähem Mozarella!Tomatensauce? Fehlanzeige! Jede Billigpizza aus dem Discouter schmeckt besser, ist besser belegt und kostet nur einen Bruchteil! Wo wir schon mal bei Preisen sind: ebenfalls eine Frechheit für das Gebotene! Die Pizza Margherita für 10,90€ und die Pizza Hawaii für 14,90€! Wir haben uns beschwert und die Pizzas zurück gehen lassen. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Unternehmung das Problem zu lösen - aber die volle Rechnung präsentieren! Erst nach Verhandlungen wurde die Rechnung angepasst (wahrscheinlich auch nur, weil andere Gäste die Diskussion mitbekommen haben). Ein Erlebnis, was dem bis dahin wunderschönen Urlaubstag leider einen kräftigen Dämpfer verpasst hat. Nie wieder Restaurante Sombrero!!!

Je déconseille fortement de se laisser avoir par l’apparence des lieux et de l’appétence du menu à 17,90€ et de la carte ! Grosse catastrophe !! De l’entrée au dessert, très mauvaise cuisine Gros attrape-touriste. Si vous pensez manger espagnol…. Passez votre chemin

Arnaque et mauvaise qualité. Menu tapas affiché sera servi pour 2 alors que l’affiche est trompeuse et évoque un menu pour une personne. Quand on a faim on termine. Serveurs peu sympathiques. À éviter

Touristenfalle mit hohen Preisen und schlechtem Essen. Sobald man sitzt ist man den Kellnern nicht mehr wichtig. Das Essen ist unterirdisch schlecht. Wir sind seit einer Woche da und haben noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Wir hatten ein paar Tapas. Nicht einmal richtiger Parmesan am Carpaccio. Pommes in der geschmacklosen Frito Marinero usw. Das einzig Positive sind die Portionsgrößen. Portionen für Tapas sind recht groß, aber der Preis ist ja auch fast wie bei einer Hauptspeise. Die WCs grauenhaft. Die Spülungen im Herren und Damen Wc funktiobieren nicht… Das Ambiente gleicht einem Drive-In-Lokal, es wird gehofft dass man so schnell wie möglich wieder geht. Wir haben leider nicht in die Bewertungen gesehen, sonst wären wir hier nicht essen gegangen.
