Esperienza semplicemente indimenticabile al Ristorante Nautilus! Sin dall’arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande cortesia e professionalità da uno staff giovane, preparato e sempre sorridente. Ma il vero protagonista è stato il cibo: la fregola sarda ai frutti di mare è stata senza dubbio la migliore mai assaggiata. Perfettamente mantecata, ricca di sapore e di mare, un piatto che porterò nel cuore (e nel palato) ancora a lungo. Un altro grande plauso va alla aragosta alla catalana: sontuosa, freschissima, servita in una presentazione scenografica che ci ha lasciato a bocca aperta… almeno fino al primo assaggio, dopo il quale è stato impossibile fermarsi! Un ristorante che unisce qualità eccellente, attenzione al dettaglio e un servizio impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente! Consigliatissimo.

I really do not understand why they have just 4.2 review grade. After so many disappointing dinners in Sardinia, this one was WOW. Literally everything was amazing, location, nice view, service very professional and polite, and then food, oh my God! Each plate was apsolutly rhapsody of taste. We order beef carpaccio as a starter, then octopus and crispy pig with some side dishes and everything was so good that we decided to take desserts as well, and of course cheesecake and pannacota were super good! I would come in Sardinia just to visit this restaurant again. Excellent. And price is super reasonable for what you get. Bravo Nautilus, this is Hospitality! ❤️

The catch of the day (I tried scorpionfish) was good, fregula had loads of seafood but for my taste was a bit too salty and intense. Loved the dessert with local melted cheese and honey! When visiting Alghero in Sardinia, be prepared to try a lot of great food, and we have a few recommendations for you and will begin with the first one @nautilusalghero where we went for dinner, enjoying a beautiful sunset. Already for the view is worth the visit. The restaurant is highly recommended on the internet and so we wanted to try it to see for ourselves. It's a little bit fancier, as some would call it and on the menu, it's mostly seafood, but all fresh. We had the tuna covered in sesame seeds (Cubo di tonno rosso in crosta di sesamo, barbabietola, misticanza estiva e salsa agro) with baked potatoes on the side and pasta with smoked fish (Trofie con muggine affumicato, datterino giallo confit, finocchietto e pinoli). The tuna well done and covered in a crust made of sezame. The pasta tasted heavenly and you can't even taste the smoked fish. @nautilusalghero might seem like a so-called tourist trap, but it's not. The food top, as well as the service, but the prices are a little bit higher, be prepared for that. Still worth it. Apart from the great food, it was interesting to see the people around us who ordered a lobster and the waiter brought it for them to access before they agreed. Something one does not see often. Last tip if you are a red wine lover and like the wine dry, get the local wine called Monica from their wine card. Don't forget to reserve a table upfront if you want to have the beautiful sea view. They are very prompt in their communication.

Esperienza nel complesso positiva. Cibo squisito, consiglio vivamente la fregola con i frutti di mare, pesce di qualità, veramente buona! I dolci eccezionali davvero! Complimenti alla cucina. Per quanto riguarda l' ambiente veramente poco elegante, freddo per niente accogliente, nonostante la vista eccezionale, consiglio vivamente della musica per creare atmosfera e durante le serate ventose di tenere le vetrate chiuse (faceva freddissimo) nonostante un vetrata, dopo mia richiesta, sia stata chiusa. Personale di accoglienza molto gentile e professionale, non posso dire altrettanto del personale di sala, i ragazzi giovani gentili e attenti, il ragazzo più adulto (credo fosse il responsabile di sala) molto freddo, poco attento, maldestro continuava a sbattere i piatti di proposito e poco professionale.

Location da sogno, cucina interessante con margini di miglioramento Cena al Nautilus con vista meravigliosa sul mare di Alghero: atmosfera elegante e servizio professionale, il tutto accompagnato da una carta che promette una bella esperienza gastronomica. Abbiamo iniziato con due antipasti: – Flan di zucchine con menta, pappa al pomodoro, burrata e crumble di olive: davvero delizioso, ben bilanciato, ogni sapore si percepiva nitidamente senza mai sovrastare l’altro. – Tartare di pescato con mele, sedano e salsa ponzu: presentazione curata, ma il gusto tendeva un po’ all’anonimo. Le mele davano una bella spinta, ma la salsa ponzu – presente solo in poche gocce – non riusciva a valorizzare davvero il piatto. Con qualche accorgimento potrebbe diventare un ottimo antipasto. Tra i secondi: – Polpo alla plancia con il suo fondo, hummus di ceci e spinaci: ottimo! Morbidissimo, saporito, ben eseguito e da consigliare. – Cernia al forno da 1,2 kg (pescato del giorno) con patate, olive e pomodorini: pesce freschissimo, presentato prima della cottura e servito intero, poi sfilettato al tavolo con cura. Peccato per la totale mancanza di sapidità: né sale né vino, e il contorno risentiva dello stesso problema. Un gran piatto, con potenziale altissimo, ma servono attenzione e precisione nell’esecuzione – soprattutto considerando il costo (corretto) di 120€, che però richiede una resa al palato all’altezza. Vino consigliato: abbiamo accompagnato la cena con un Cuvée 161 Torbato di Sella & Mosca, ottimo in abbinamento a tutto il pasto, elegante e profumato. Dessert: – Seadas classica: corretta, ben fatta, nulla da eccepire. – Mousse di ricotta con crema inglese al fil’e ferru e ribes (non lamponi): buona, anche se la presentazione lasciava presagire un gusto più incisivo. – Manjan blanc: dessert interessante e diverso dal solito. Alla presentazione il cameriere ha indicato erroneamente una pallina di gelato e crema al basilico, che invece si sono rivelati un sorbetto e una crema alla menta. In ogni caso, piatto ben costruito e piacevole. Nel complesso, tutti i dessert sono risultati buoni, anche se le aspettative – complice la presentazione – erano leggermente diverse. Con un po’ più di attenzione ai dettagli (sia in cucina che nel servizio), il locale ha tutte le carte in regola per offrire un’esperienza davvero eccellente. Il posto merita.

Il ristorante offre una vista bellissima sul porticciolo e Capo caccia. Sono stato a cena con altre persone. Tutti abbastanza soddisfatti, chi più e chi meno, della qualità dei piatti. I crudi sono il piatto che ho preferito. Eccellente la qualità. Occorre fare attenzione nel dare un menu ad ogni commensale. Noi inizialmente ne avevamo uno per cinque. Errori da non fare in questo tipo di ristorante.

Come ogni estate in Sardegna, rigorosamente la solita visita ad Alghero ci cade sempre. Quest'anno abbiamo voluto provare il ristorante Nautilus, accogliente a primo impatto offrendo la possibilità dai 2 terrazzini a rialzo sulle vecchie mura una bellissima vista sul porticciolo. Mangiato antipasto e primo e accompagnati da una buona bollicina del territorio franciacorta. Che dire, cibo ottimo ma devo fare un piccolo disservizio sul vino, abbiamo optato per una bottiglia di circa 30€ commerciale e ahimè, sulla carta c'era un rincaro del doppio, che strizza un po' gli occhi. (ho scelto questa bottiglia perché sapevo di cadere a piedi pari, capisco ai costi in generale ma un però mi vien da dirlo) (voglio precisare che sulla carta c'è la possibilità di assaggiare ottimi vini anche del territorio) Sul servizio impeccabile, ragazzi giovani e intraprendenti, cordiali e gentili, sono rimasto molto contento. Consiglio vivamente di provare questa ristorazione, nel periodo estivo come già detto, con la possibilità dei terrazzini è veramente il top.

Pranzo in tre, ognuno con il suo piatto: io i culurgiones con estratto di pomodoro, verdure di stagione e stracciatella—delicati, eleganti e gustosi; gli altri due gli spaghetti chitarra con vongole e bottarga al coltello, saporiti e ben bilanciati. Per dessert, mousse di ricotta con lampone, gru e cacao e inglese al filu ferru: leggera, raffinata e perfetta chiusura del pasto. Il servizio è cordiale e disponibile, l’atmosfera tranquilla e piacevole. Piccolo neo: il mirto finale non ha colpito particolarmente, e l’acqua, che sembrava acqua di rubinetto, è stata addebitata 3,5€—un dettaglio un po’ eccessivo. Nel complesso, piatti curati, ingredienti di qualità e presentazione attenta: un pranzo molto piacevole, con solo qualche dettaglio da rivedere sui costi extra e sul mirto.

Sono tornato ad Alghero dopo qualche anno e ho rivisitato questo ristorante, dove avevo già avuto un'esperienza positiva. Tuttavia, questa volta la qualità del cibo non è stata all'altezza dei prezzi. Le zuppette di mare erano troppo sapide (può succedere) ma gli spaghetti con vongole e bottarga erano stati mantecati con burro, coprendo e rovinando completamente i sapori delicati degli ingredienti. Peccato perché le vongole, mangiate separatamente erano davvero buone e avrebbero potuto fare la differenza se il piatto fosse stato mantecato con olio e acqua per far formare naturalmente la “cremina”.

Ok il posto, ok la stagione ma a mio parere caro, abbastanza. 2 tartare, uno scorfano di 6/700 grammi e una bottiglia di vino, 183 euro, ok c'erano 2 sorbetti inclusi a 5 euro l'uno e 2 caffè che di caffè avevano ben poco, a 2,50 euro l'uno, parentesi, stesso posto in un bar, un caffè di nome e di fatto, 1,30 euro. Ora io dico, ho speso 184 euro, distinguiti e offrimi il caffè, se così si può chiamare......praticamente ci ha esclusi da un eventuale ritorno. Cibo comunque ottimo, pesce fresco, personale accogliente. Location, beh si affaccia sul porto......turistico, ci tornerei?....no, io però, voi fate vobis

Dinner for 8 people, booking at 7:00 pm. The octopus and the tuna calamarata were well prepared and enjoyable. However, the overall experience was disappointing: while we were still finishing the fish, at 8:30 pm we were asked if we wanted a digestif, and by 8:44 pm the bill was placed on the table, along with a clear invitation to leave. We paid €140 for a scorpion fish that was rather bland and lacked character. Service needs improvement, as does the execution of some oven-baked dishes. The mezzanine next to the staircase (and the staircase itself leading to the top floor) was messy: random chairs, a bike parked there, what is the point in an expensive restaurant. The view over the harbour and the spectacular sunset are not enough to make up for the rushed and inattentive hospitality.

Mi sono lasciata affascinare dal nome e dell'ambientazione, ma nonostante il cameriere fosse gentile, si respirava una sensazione di freddezza e poca empatia. Il cibo per quello che ho gustato, mancava di carattere, in perfetta sintonia con l'ambientazione. Il dolce, nonostante fosse ben presentato, non sapeva di niente e la pallina di gelato alla fragola aveva un gusto somigliante al gelato 🍨 da discount; anche il piatto di fregola, non aveva assolutamente il gusto di mare che mi aspettavo, ma un gusto blando, tra l'altro troppo salato e troppo al dente. Certo non valeva i ventotto euro richiesti per una porzione. Sinceramente c'è molto da migliorare...

Ho cenato con mia moglie in questo ristorante venerdì 12 agosto scorso e dare le alte aspettative purtroppo sono rimasto deluso, ma partiamo dall’inizio: Alla prenotazione scopro che il ristorante lavora su due turni che per un locale di questo livello è già una nota stonata, ma anche se è una scelta che non condivido la rispetto. Tra le 19:00 e le 22:30, optiamo per il primo turno specificando telefonicamente che ci venisse assegnato un bel tavolo. Al nostro arrivo alle 19:00 in punto, nella sala in cui attendevamo di essere accompagnati al tavolo troviamo il personale che stava mangiando in piedi di fronte ai clienti e già qui mi è sembrato fuori luogo, ma andiamo oltre…. accompagnati al tavolo scopriamo che il tavolo che ci avevano riservato, sicuramente in ottima posizione al primo piano fronte porto era posto però all’esterno dell’area climatizzata con il sole pieno da sopportare, sarebbe stato sicuramente un ottimo tavolo per il secondo turno a sole tramontato ma per le 19 con il caldo che stava facendo in quei giorni era sicuramente una pessima scelta, chiediamo quindi di cambiare posto ed il personale gentilmente ci trova una nuova sistemazione, sempre ahimè fuori dall’area climatizzata ma al secondo piano con un po’ più d’aria quantomeno. Mia moglie mi invita a portare pazienza e passiamo all’ordine: mia moglie ordina un crudo di mare ed a seguire dell’ aragosta alla griglia per entrambi e qui purtroppo arriva l’errore imperdonabile in quanto il gambero e lo scampo del crudo arrivano non eviscerati, avrei voluto avvisare il personale di sala ma purtroppo mia moglie non ha voluto fare polemica e si è pulita da sola i crostacei terminando il piatto e scartando naturalmente le viscere. Errori di questo tipo purtroppo non ci si aspettano nemmeno in trattoria. Per quanto riguarda l’aragosta niente da dire anche se date le aspettative mi immaginavo meglio. Unica nota positiva il proprietario che si dava un gran da fare per accontentare tutti anche se sembrava non molto supportato dal resto dello staff. Infine Il prezzo pagato sarebbe giusto a fronte di in esecuzione impeccabile dei piatti ma viste le evidenze descritte non lo ritengo giustificato, sono sicuro che se avessi fatto presente, come si dovrebbe, al personale di sala le mancanze riscontrate avrebbero sicuramente posto rimedio quindi in conclusione è colpa mia non averlo fatto, ma non sono solito a sollevare polemiche. Il locale è bellissimo con una posizione ed una vista invidiabile, possono fare sicuramente meglio per far trascorrere ai propri ospiti un esperienza indimenticabile, magari siamo stati solamente sfortunati.

Food was average. Half the mussels didn’t open - raising the question of freshness . Sauce was okay. The fish of the day was tasty, but the price was deceptive. We were told it would be about 150g in weight ( at 10 Euros per 100g). Thus we expected to pay at most 20 Euros. In the end the fish cost 50 Euros. The woman whom we paid , said many customers have voiced the same complaint. It’s not good to feel cheated by a restaurant. The food was not that good and the deceit involved in the pricing leaves a bad taste. There are far better options in Alghero for quality and value for money.

The terrasse has an amazing view. But be careful of what you choose in the menu. You have to ask before order how much it's gonna cost you for the fish or homard (min 120€). I had a very bad experience, I ask for the mulet, the waiter told me 25€. But finally it was 40€!! Fishes are fresh but it's very expensive for the plate's quality... my friend's plates was too salty. Just go have a drink 😉

Don't be fooled by the good reviews for this place, it's a tourist trap. Our waiter was unfriendly, our food arrived cold and the atmosphere was tense and awkward. The steak was tough and we were given a butter knife to cut it with, we were told they didn't have any steak knives. We would have said something to the waiter about the temperature of the food but we couldn't get his attention again until our meal was finished. You also can't buy wine by the glass, you have to buy at least half a bottle. This dinner ended up being very expensive and very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend here.

I was in this restaurant twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch was ok and since the location is very nice, i went there again for a dinner. The dinner was aweful! Not only the food was very expensive but also it was not delicious at all. My partner took the catch of the day which was 700 grams and costs 70 € just for the fish without any sides and it was not even good. The waiter who did the filleting, left a lot of bones and the fish was done very badly. We paid 170 € but didn‘t get much in return. The food and the service is very poor! There are many great restaurants in Alghero but Nautilus is definitely not one them. I wouldn’t go there even it was free!

Italy, in general, has always stood proud in my book of incredible food and dining places and this is unfortunately, NOT one of those places. An over hyped tourist trap that rests heavily on the laurels of their fantastic location (which actually if you read the reviews, will see where the higher rating solely comes from) We paid 32 euros for each fish. One was heavily overcooked and the other was extremely soggy. The snooty, full of himself waiter who claimed he would filet the fish for us (with of course all the show and tell of a tourist trap) seems to have skipped most of his culinary classes and brought back a fish that seemed to be fileted with a LEGO knife. It had almost all the bones in there and seemed like he had sat on it to get the bones out. Everything we ate, except for the wine that didn't come from this kitchen, was absolutely terrible and not worth the money at all. Having eaten in 100s of Italian restaurants and having varied but relatively positive experiences, I give "Ristorante Nautilus" the top spot for worst restaurant for food/service and an average to good for the location and view, IF you get one of their 6 tables on the balcony. Otherwise you're stuck in the poorly acclimatized interior with the full of himself waiter and chef who either clearly needs to go back to cooking school or not depend so much on their reputation for a good location. NEVER going back here again and sadly, Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!

Thank God the wine recommendation was decent so we could forget about the terrible experience and the owner gave a discount for the disappoinment ... nevertheless cannot and will not recommend this place to serve great or even decent food. All our dish were bad, one of the fish was overcooked, the other one soggy and tasteless and the simplest pasta so uninteresting and way too salty. Don't let me continue with the side dish ??? Blend and sad patatoes with even sadder tomatoes ??!!! Their bread is also a disaster, the olive oil at least was good. You can't have such a great location, good service and serve such badly prepared tasteless food. Oh and the heat. Just unbearable.
