Baja California is a popular spot for BBQ, especially the brisket, which is frequently praised. Customers consistently highlight the excellent service, with special mentions for staff like Chris and Katie. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it suitable for groups.
Tip: The brisket is a must-order. Be aware that the tri-tip can be dry.

Second location of Craft S&F I tried. I loved the location and ambiance of this location. Service was excellent and the food is amazing as always. A great place for halal bbq. All halal meat menu - beef and chicken. Mostly I am not able to find good bbq beef ribs here in California, but this location had it and it was really good. I will go there again for sure.
Craft by Smoke and Fire is a great restaurant. The atmosphere feels warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed delicious, juicy, and flavorful ribs and brisket, and the sides were great as well. Overall, it’s a fantastic option in the area, you’ll probably want to go more than once!
Genuinely the best American Texas BBQ ever! I came all the way from Montreal to try Craft by Smoke and Fire, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, the experience was incredible. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and you can feel the passion they put into everything. And honestly — the general manager is the GOAT. His energy and hospitality take the whole place to another level. The BBQ itself is unreal. This is genuinely the best American Texas-style BBQ I’ve ever had. The meat is tender, smoky, juicy, and full of deep, authentic flavor. Every bite hits perfectly. If you’re into BBQ, this place is an absolute MUST. Amazing people, unbelievable food, and an experience worth traveling for. Highly, highly recommended!
Fantastic Halal BBQ Spot! I was visiting from the Bay Area and stopped in for lunch—absolutely worth it. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the ribs were incredibly tender, falling right off the bone. A must-visit if you’re looking for quality halal BBQ!
A hiding gem. Great service, food and drinks. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and to our surprise we found out they have a speakeasy bar on the back. Fun experience.
Chris the manager was the absolute best! Our server was incredible! We had our girls hockey team dinner here! With a large group they were very accommodating and the brisket was the best! An absolute must order and eat and enjoy! Will definitely be back! Thank you again!!!
Tomahawk steak was prepared and seasoned nicely. 1/2 pound brisket had a good smokey taste to it but my cut had the fat cap attached (which was about 30% of the entrée). Katie was the star of our dinner tonight - very attentive to our large group. She was very approachable and had a great sense of humor. Excellent service!
Shout out to the various Chris' that work here. Despite being near shift change and break, all the Chris' made sure that we were accounted for throughout the night. Craft seems to be a great location for large groups on a Friday night. We saw at least 3 groups of over 8 people seated alongside our group. A friend warned that service may be slow, but we found that drinks and food were timely and brought out crisp from the kitchen. Our waiter even warned that happy hour was ending soon and that it might be advantageous to place our extra orders now instead of later, which saved as a handful of bucks. As we placed our orders, a few recommendations were made by our waiter and they were definitely the right choices. Particular food favorites of the night were the asparagus fries and the brisket quesadilla! For food, it is worth noting that the sauces and slaw are the same on each dish, so coordinate your variety accordingly to maximize your options and ability to try everything on the menu. Ample parking is also available in the lot behind the store as well as 90 minute street parking.
This place is delicious, just like the name states Craft by Smoke and Fire, it truly is. Wow so well crafted, so i like beef and I do like brisket but to be honest it not always on top of my list. Now that I said that, wow this well crafted brisket it delicious it has changed my mine about brisket. It just juice, tender, savory and explosive to my taste buds. I have there jalapeños burger, mac n cheese, loaded potato and brisket waffle fries.. my sisters and brothers this is a must spot to visit if your in the area. They also take reservations. Feed your food souls and God bless
I have been here two times. This by far is my favorite place to enjoy a great meal in a great atmosphere.I highly recommend this restaurant for casual or dressing up. There is outside dining as well. This is a place you look around and everyone is laughing, talking and enjoying each other’s company. It’s family oriented. I have a rambunctious toddler(3yrs) and she likes to walk around the table, will get in the way of staff walking by and everyone treats her like she’s no problem. It can get loud from everyone talking at their tables but that’s what makes this place feel alive. And if the toddler starts crying nobody hears her, 😂 Today we were seated under a ceiling fan and I felt chilly. I asked our waiter, Christian if we could move. No problem, he gave us a few choices. Eating out is difficult for me because I have severe allergies and this place absolutely caters to my needs even to the plastic utensils I need. I ordered chicken, I couldn’t have salt or pepper but the smoked chicken apparently is made seasoned so Christian had one made special, unseasoned for me. This to me is priceless. The food was delicious. Even the toddler, a picky eater, ate all her food! The brisket is tender, beyond anything I can make or have had anywhere! Mouth watering delicious , you could have no teeth and still be able to eat that brisket. We got some nachos on the house. And since the chicken took longer they comp that too!! The brisket fondue is amazing as an appetizer. I didn’t get a photo because we ate it so fast. We were 3 adults and one child. The prices for the quality of food and service is excellent.

This restaurant is an absolute must-visit! They serve the best steaks and briskets I've ever tasted. The atmosphere is wonderful, with both outdoor and indoor seating that adds to the experience. It's also fantastic that all their meat is Halal! What really made our visit exceptional was the service. Our waitress, Laura, was incredibly sweet and attentive. She took the time to explain the menu, recommended great options, and was so patient with us. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want a great night out with amazing food and good vibes, I highly recommend this place! We got, prime brisket quesadillas as an appetizer. Brisket Grilled cheese sandwich, Big Texan (baked potato with brisket and toppings), 1/2 pound smoke brisket plate and a tasty ice cream dessert! Everything was delicious!!
Great service awesome bbq everything was good. Large portions. The meats and sides are so good. The server gave us some nachos to start with. Great corn bread.
We're seated very quickly. Ordered the half pound tri-tip and the brisket mountain high loaded fries. The brisket was amazing. The loaded fries just added to it. The tri-tip although very lean and cook well was a bit dry and chewy due to the thick cut of meat. Definitely order brisket. Anything brisket will be amazing. Also ordered the Hispanic cocktail and the villain beer. Both were very tasty and light, perfect for summer.
Great atmosphere! Loved the service and the food. The dishes my family and I ordered were delicious. The brisket was tender and melted in your mouth. The ribs didn’t have much meat on them, but they were still delicious. I would definitely recommend and come back to this place.

It’s was a good experience overall, inside and outside seating available and it looks like they a full bar (I could be wrong). Street parking available! We were a party of four, on a Sunday (Labor Day weekend) around 5 pm. The restaurant was pretty empty, maybe five tables or so were being occupied. The place is clean, good atmosphere, lots of TVs around to enjoy some sports, and well organized. The men’s bathroom long as clean though. The urinal stalls seemed to be clogged. The place was really hot inside, no A/C, but once they opened up the big doors leading to the outside seating, then we felt the nice breeze coming through. The food was really good. We decided to get the big meal (4-6 people) and share it between us four. It was enough food. Flavorful short ribs, tasty grilled chicken, and nicely cooked brisket. Definitely worth the visit if you around the area.
First time visiting. Arrived around 4:30pm and it was getting pretty busy at this time. Place looks clean. Good vibes. Cesar salad wasn't terrible, but I've had better. Lamb was delicious and perfectly cooked. Brisket was tender and tasty. Street corn was okay, nothing special. The waffle fries were fresh and crispy. The service was slow. It took them a while to get our salads out and the place was stuffy. Turn on the AC please! For these reason I'm not giving the 5 stars. BUT food was good!
Saw a Tik Tok influencer raving about this place and decided to check it out on our trip to Disney. We went for lunch and while not terribly busy, there seemed to be only one server, who despite his efforts was struggling to keep up. Kudos to him for remaining calm and doing his best. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was awesome with wall murals and low lighting. Tons of TV’s playing sports. We sat outdoors because we have two toddlers and never want to disturb people if we can avoid it. We split a monstrosity of a ‘burger’ that came with a rib bone sticking out of the side. It consisted of Wagyu beef. Prime brisket, and a giant short rib all on Texas toast for $37. The kids shared Mac and cheese and a kid’s chicken meal. They had a good selection of cocktails and beer, however they were out of our first two selections. Adding to my theory that they were short staffed, the restroom wasn’t in the best of conditions. You can see the video for yourself that I have posted. The kid’s chicken meal was actual chicken strips, not crappy nuggets. It came with two and both were more than enough food for one child, despite including fries. The waiter gave us our food but forgot silverware and napkins, both of which are required for eating Mac and cheese and an exquisitely messy burger. Overall, an absolutely delicious meal, but give the pore waiter some assistance.
We usually don't eat at BBQ restaurants because my Husband smokes meat at home better than most places but thought we would try it anyway. Glad we did. Here are my thoughts on each dish and the sides we had. Beef Ribs - VERY Flavorful (I will be getting those again) Beef Short Rib- Good portion of meat. Fell off the bone, very tender but tasted more like pot roast. Blue cheese slaw- still trying to decide if I like it. I love blue cheese and slaw but not sure if I like them together. Blue cheese wasn't strong. Potato salad- really good. I would get again Street corn- was ok. - was plain. Cornbread- it was more like cake. Very light and fluffy. But very good. Oh! The BBQ sauce was really good also. Perfect spice and thickness! I was going to take photos but we started to eat already so the photos I could take were only of the sides. Overall, I give this place 4 stars and I would def go back. Def should be on your list to try if your looking for a Smoked meat place. We went about 4:30 pm on a Friday. There was plenty of place to sit both in and outside. Service was attentive. Ambiance was nice and the place was really clean.

After leaving Disney land park we stopped for dinner here. It was empty and at around 9.30pm I think we were lucky they took us in. It was a bit of a rush job, since we were told the bar was closed and we had a few minutes to make our food order. Having said that, our server was courteous and efficient and the food was served promptly and well presented. Their giant pretzel was nice and I loved the size. The shrimps in batter either coconut is a local thing - I still have to acquire a taste for it- but it was good. Our mains of lamb ribs and brisket were good too. It’s a good place to eat, but if you’re there earlier I guess it’s better.
We came for a birthday celebration, and our waiter greeted our first-time visit with complimentary appetizers. The food was good and drinks were heavy on the alcohol so, totally worth it. If you are here for a first time then my suggestion is to order the "photos y recuerdos" Selena's cocktail drink cause they take a photo of you and your party and attach it to your drink as a special touch. We ordered the last super to cover a variety of meats since we are avid meat eaters, but our only concern with our meal is getting our sides till the very end. At which point we all ended up in a meat coma from so much meat. Don't get me wrong, the meat was spectacular, but we definitely needed those sides to balance out the meat. We were offered free drinks on the house, and those never came out. We did state we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to get a desert and hear staff sing but they did sing to another table, not ours. I guess that's the negatives but the overall atmosphere was great, the food was great, the staff was friendly. I'd recommend coming at a time that's not crowded. we got here at 2 pm but noticed that the attention to our table diminished the moment more people walked in.

We visited on a Wednesday and had a good overall experience, especially with kids. The kitchen sent out a sampler of BBQ nachos, which was a great surprise and an instant hit with our small kids. Food came out fast and hot, which is always appreciated. I ordered the peppercorn burger. The burger was juicy, but it was missing any real peppercorn flavor. The oddly cut lettuce and wilted tomatoes were a turn-off. My wife had the brisket grilled cheese. The bread wasn’t toasted, and because of how it was cooked, the sandwich fell apart easily. She also had two hard pieces of brisket. The mac and cheese, however, was excellent and the highlight of her meal. My parents split the Stockberger and really enjoyed it, though we noticed the same issue — the bread wasn’t toasted and the sandwich fell apart. Good service, fast food, and kid-friendly touches, but the sandwich execution could use some improvement.
Really cool place to get together for a bite to eat. Very nice decorating and lighting at night. Food quality is decent. Had the beef back ribs and the meat was dry and the BBQ sauce mediocre. Plus, a lot of fat on the rib themselves. Apparently they were out of a lot of things that night which kinda sucked.

Stopped here for takeout on vacation and it is even more overpriced than Disneyland. After tip one order of birria tacos was $24 and they were three of the smallest tacos I have ever had and at $8 a piece I was extremely disappointed.. if they’re going to be that small I would at least hope they’d be filled with a good amount of meat but they were extremely stingy with the meat as well. Extremely disappointing meal from this place.

Really nice restaurant, the food was OK. My burger looked very sad and was a 6/10. Drinks were delicious and my server/ bartender was nice. The only thing I did notice and it bummed me out was I was sitting next to the door and saw 3 parties come in and wait forever for anyone to acknowledge them. I almost felt bad for eating my food in front of them while they waited for the hostess or even anyone for that matter to even say hi. It wasn’t busy at all either afternoon and barely anyone was in the restaurant. I heard each party hesitate to stay while waiting. They all seemed annoyed (rightfully so) I even saw some guy walk in and start his shift didn’t even say hi to them. He walked in and talked to two other servers and waited almost 5 minutes to say anything. All while these customers watched him do this. I’ve been a server and I work in customer service so if this happened to me I wouldn’t even wanna dine at the establishment. Just a heads up. Also! Please water your plants at the bar at the top. They look sad :(
