Absolutely LOVE this place! Their cupcakes are so yummy! Always love the variety of choices.

New favorite cupcakes. Frosting is excellent and cake is dense but rich. Nutella frosting is amazing - never had Nutella as a milk chocolate with buttercream before. I ordered those via Door Dash and they arrived immaculately.

Hello I moved from Long Beach 5yrs ago to San Diego.imagine how exhilarated when I found that you were still open for business on my visit there after a while away. Best cupcakes ever! No matter where you are in LA it's worth it. My favorite flavors are Strawberry Creamcheese, Confetti Vanilla, Chocolate Heath Toffee, or whatever the seasonal flavor is! Customer service is great, location is perfect for grabbing cupcakes and walking around or heading to the beach. The owners are amazing and always care so much about their employees and customers, unlike anywhere else I've seen. Couldn't recommend them more! Getting a custom order for a party is a good way to go.

I have been coming to Frosted for their delicious cupcakes for years. I have never been disappointed in anything I've ordered. My personal favorites are the chocolate mint cupcakes and the salted caramel hi-tops. Their frosted sugar cookies are also fantastic! The employees are always so kind and helpful, and full of smiles. Frosted is not one to be missed!

An employee answers my questions about the products, and I actually like other offerings of the establishment aside from cupcakes. The August Vegan Cupcake is the Vegan Chocolate Cupcake: the cupcake is fluffy, sticks a bit to the immediate paper holder, has sprinkles which I barely taste with the chocolate though feel due to the crunch, and has frosting which just adds more chocolatey flavor though with a different texture. During my visit, I recall no nutrition facts being available. I ask for nutrition facts sometimes especially concerning protein and/or sugar (for health reasons, I appreciate the information being available). I like the packaging of the cupcakes (the holder beyond the paper and the bag with a sticker 😅).

Super moist and delicious. I bought pupcakes for the grandpup and a gluten free cupcake for my daughter which she loved. It's very hard to get gluten free items that still taste good. As a matter of fact my daughter accidentally ate my regular cupcake which she said was delicious. The tops are decorated differently so I told her oh nooo you ate the regular one. She then went on to eat the gluten free one and confirmed that the flavor was still awesome. So for sure this is the spot for a gluten free treat. You won't be disappointed.

I made an order for my child’s birthday a couple weeks ago which turned out better than I expected! One of the employees, her name was Kylie. She was very helpful and empathic. I was really frustrated and indecisive about my cupcakes because time was ticking. She literally is amazing, she helped picked my theme, colors and designs. I couldn’t be more thankful for her service. I haven’t had an experience with that much patience and kindness in a while. Thank you, Kylie! They were delicious!

Took a risk and bought 12 cupcakes from a bakery I had never been to. Thankfully the good reviews were spot on. These cupcakes were so fresh and moist. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered a Biscoff cookie butter cupcake and it knocked my socks off. The taste of food is important and thankfully service and atmosphere were spot on as well. This place is very clean with no bad stenches to be concerned of. The lady at the counter was pleasant and patient while we picked out several flavors to take back to our house full of family.

This year they have the pumpkin spice cupcakes and they are the best pumpkin spice cupcakes I have ever had! I also love their strawberry and peanut butter cupcakes. Moist cupcake Chocolate Buttercream Balanced sweetness

Sprinkles ain’t got nothing on this place. Frosted Cupcakery, a family-owned bakery specializing in cupcakes (of course!) really delivers on unique flavors and a moist cake base. We about died over their Christmas Menu, but we were too early (only served December 23rd and 24th – get over there!) – luckily, we were still able to order Chocolate Peppermint and Gingerbread cupcakes from their regular December menu, which were undeniably delicious. This place is dessert heaven, for sure.

For a place called “frosted” they really skimp on the frosting. Tasty cupcakes though, just small and not much frosting on them.

Had a quick taster since we were walking by. It’s so cute that they have mini cupcakes like sandwiches. 4 stars as the cake was awesome but I didn’t try the actual cupcake yet. Overall not too sweet and definitely worth coming again for more.

Delicious cupcakes in lovely flavors. The mint chocolate chip is my personal favorite. Good for on occasional treat as they are quite sugary and expensive (around 5 dollars per cupcake).

The fresh cupcakes are way better than the ice cream cupcakes. Don't get the ice cream ones. Not worth it. But the fresh baked cupcakes​ are delicious​.

This review won’t be accurate, so don’t take much notice of it. It was a hot day, so I purchased a cupcake sandwich, it had vanilla ice cream in the middle. It average, and for a product that was frozen, it took a while to be served, it’s quite large, best to share, my husband and I couldn’t finish them. What was annoying, was a customer had purchased one for take away, and was told to wait 15 minutes before eating it, we were never told this, which took us forever to even eat some of it. If this was told to use when we placed our order, would’ve just gone for the normal cupcakes, which looked amazing.

Cupscakes are good. The service was..."so-so". Being my 1st time there, seemed like it was an attitude of "hurry up and order...then leave". Guess its the pandemic. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Best cupcakes in Long Beach so why 2 stars? They have ridiculous sales rules. Cant buy more than 24 cakes without pre-ordering (make more stock) cant order 6 cakes for the following day in certain flavors, must come at opening and buy when they have most but not all in stock, can't call in and pay and get the ones you want put aside. So if you want Frosted cupcakes u better get with their schedule because they won't accomodate yours. Poor staff there have to apologetically deal with customers when it's not their fault the owner won't make enough cakes to run a store that satisfies customers. I've spent thousands at this store for various events but I'm pretty tired of the rules. We have a family tradition of Frosted instead of birthday cakes but because of how difficult it is to get what we want and my husband missing out on cupcakes for his bday, despite attempts to deal with the store, we may now rethink this tradition!

Use to love this place and their cupcakes but today was so very disappointing. Frosting was way too sugary sweet. The sugar was not dissolved leaving a gritty sandy texture ..so it ruined the best part of a cupcake. Bought four differant flavors..all had the same terrible frosting problem. Brought these as a dessert to a friend's house..thinking it was the same great quality as in past..nobody liked or ate them. Total waste of money!! The price has gone up too but the quality went down. At $5 a cupcake it should be delicious and top quality ..not a cheap sugary dime store dessert.

Be advised the cupcakes have just recently gotten a lot smaller by volume and have less frosting. I thought it was just me and there’s another review on Yelp from 17 days ago saying the same thing. Hopefully this review can make Frosted great again by encouraging them to return to the amazing, standard-sized cupcakes that they are known for.

Pls keep in mind, prior to taking the 40 minute drive I called and asked if they accepted cash. Woman on the phone said yes. I get there, order 6 cupcakes only for the woman to tell me they don’t accept bills over $20 (I was paying with a $50 bill.) My toddler had been excited about going to get cupcakes all weekend so she was obviously upset when she realized we couldn’t take them. I’m trying to pick my daughter up and I can see the two girls behind the counter smirking. I just think they could’ve made an exception considering my total was almost $30. Would have been nice to be told over the phone they don’t accept large bills. I could’ve also went somewhere nearby to break the bill and go back to pay but I’m not gonna give my business to a company where the employees smirk at your toddler. This was on Monday 4/21 around 3pm.

I decided to try some of the frosting since it was already everywhere and it was sickeningly sweet and gritty. Just getting the cupcakes out of the box they became even more ruined. I’m not even sure I want to serve them to guests as they look like something a child could have made. More disappointed than upset with this place, as everyone has bad batches :(
