Oga's Cantina offers an immersive Star Wars experience with themed drinks and a lively atmosphere. It's a must-visit for fans, but expect crowds, noise, a two-drink limit, and a 45-minute time limit. Some find it overpriced and cramped.
Tip: Make reservations to avoid standing tables. Be aware of the two-drink limit and 45-minute time limit.

drinks were quite pricey and has some rules but they did a great job decorating the place. Warmed up chubby pretzels were delicious 😋. Not sure those bartenders were not allowed to smile and be friendly 😅😬(for the concept sake)
I really enjoyed the two visits to the cantina, the staff is friendly and attentive, the drinks yummy, and the atmosphere very cool. There’s lots to look at, and a droid DJ spinning toons. The drinks are very expensive, but so is everything else in Disneyland, so it wasn’t any different from anywhere else. There’s the 45 minute time limit, but there’s too much to do in the park to spend that much time in any one place anyway. I had a great time (plus, with my birthday pin, the bartender wished me a happy origin day!).
This place is a VIBE! 2 drink limit per person with a great variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. There are also some small bites you can order. You definitely feel like you’re at a dive bar in Star Wars with the music pumping near a robot DJ. We ordered some pretzels with hot cheese to share and each enjoyed a bourbon smash styled specialty cocktail. It’s definitely worth the wait to get in, just keep in mind they really do cram as many people in as they can into the space so you will likely be sharing a table with strangers. Not a big deal for me at all but just something I thought I’d mention.
The Baseline: For a theme park bar that also serves food, the drinks must be good, the food offerings must fit the establishment, and the service needs to make the experience fun in line with theme bar. Food: The drinks are awesome, the food is galacticly fun, and together it is far, far away a great dining experience. Beers- Gamorian Ale, Angry Bloody Rancor, and the Outer Rim are my favorites. The food we had the Batuu Brine Dewroots (crushed cucumbers over a soy-based sauce) and a huge love for Olga’s Obsession. Service: Great Disney cast member service and they keep to character. They make the Star Wars experience great, though I want more blasters in Star Wars Galaxy Edge. Ambiance: It is a great Star Wars theme and it (unfortunately) not a hive of scum and villainy. Regardless it is a great Star Wars experience. 8/19/2024- This is a great place to feel like you are drinking in a Star Wars bar. The drinks are not strong and most of the food is pretty good for Disney park eats. The drinks are awesome because of the aesthetics and the theme. I am rating this 5 stars because it is a Star Wars bar. It gets a pass on what I would normally rate a place for on food/drink quality because, while pretty good, it is not why you eat and drink here. You come here for the theme and the ambiance. That is the 5 star experience for the experience itself. 10/13/2024- came back for more drinks. They started having more entertainment from the staff and the droid DJ. Still love it!
The best adult bar and snack spot at Disney with a short wait. I had one of their tequila based drinks with some citrus cream and it was delicious. The interior was amazing and it felt I was in the set of the movie/show. A great spot to snap some IG photos with some descent drinks and snacks. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
A must-stop for every Star Wars fan! Oga’s Cantina in Batuu (Disneyland Anaheim) is hands down one of my favorite spots in the entire galaxy. From the moment you walk in, you feel completely transported—like you’ve just stepped off a starship into a back-alley watering hole where you wouldn’t be surprised to spot Han Solo tucked in a corner, scoping out his next smuggling gig. The history behind the cantina just adds to the immersion. It's known in Star Wars lore as a haven for bounty hunters, rogue smugglers, alien travelers, and adventurers of all kinds. Oga Garra, the mysterious owner, keeps a tight grip on things—but the atmosphere still feels wild and alive. DJ R-3X (yep, the old Star Tours pilot) keeps the beats going with an eclectic galactic playlist that really sets the tone. Now, this isn’t the place for fine dining—and that’s exactly the point. Oga’s is about stepping into a world that feels like Star Wars. The vibe is immersive, the cast members stay completely in character, and everything from the lighting to the décor makes you believe you’re really somewhere in the Outer Rim, taking a breather before your next hyperspace jump. The drinks? Out of this world. Whether you're into exotic cocktails or want a creative non-alcoholic option, there's something for everyone. The Jedi Mind Trick and the Fuzzy Tauntaun are my go-to cocktails, and they even have a really fun meat and cheese board with a galactic twist—perfect to snack on while you soak in the atmosphere. Reservations are highly recommended... but also almost impossible to get unless you’re planning well in advance. Every time I try, it's booked solid. I’ve had better luck just showing up early and waiting in line. Honestly, it’s worth the wait. Every time I visit Batuu, I make it a mission to stop by Oga’s—even if just for one drink—to geek out and fully enjoy the incredible environment. If you're a Star Wars fan, this place is essential. Whether you're in it for the immersive storytelling, the drinks, or just to feel like part of the galaxy far, far away—Oga’s delivers. Can’t recommend it enough!
A must-visit—truly feels like stepping into Star Wars! We ended up at Oga’s Cantina by coincidence and it turned out to be one of the best experiences at Disneyland! The atmosphere was incredible—just like the cantina bar from the movies, with amazing set design, details, and characters. The drinks and food had fun Star Wars names, and everything we tried was delicious—especially the pretzel, which was sooo good! The staff played their roles perfectly, making you feel like you were in a galaxy far, far away. Highly recommended for Star Wars fans and anyone looking for a unique Disney dining experience!
Fun experience. Need a reservation. Two drink limit for alcohol, food was good, price is what you'd expect inside Disney. Only negative is they just kinda shove as many people as they can together at tables trying to rush as many people through as fast as possible. Definitely worth it.
Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland Resort – A Must-Visit for Star Wars Fans and Cocktail Lovers If you’re 21+ and enjoy a good drink—whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not—Oga’s Cantina is a spot you need to experience at least once when visiting Disneyland. We did a walk-up reservation for two in the evening and only waited about 10 minutes (though wait times can vary). Once inside, you’re limited to 45 minutes or two drinks per person, whichever comes first. The menu features a variety of creative mixed drinks and beers, along with a few food options. We were lucky to grab seats at the bar, but there are also themed booths available for larger groups. We tried four different mixed drinks, all of which were fantastic. The bartenders were not only friendly but also shared fun Star Wars trivia, adding to the immersive experience. Like most things at Disneyland, Oga’s isn’t cheap—our drinks totaled around $80—but for the unique atmosphere and experience, it was absolutely worth it. While we may not visit every trip, I’d highly recommend going at least once. You won’t regret it!
This Star Wars-themed bar is actually not as big as I expected, but the decoration is indeed very close to the movie scenes, and the drinks are not too expensive. Star Wars fans are worth a visit. However, be aware of the crowds during holidays. It is recommended to visit on weekdays to have a better chance of getting in.
It was my second visit to Oga, first time since they have food items on the menu. The drinks and the bread we ordered were quite good, although extremely expensive, n as expected. The only think that’s really ridiculous is the attitude of the staff at the door that really makes it feel they are doing you a favor to let you in. ( I had reservations for more than a month). The servers inside were more friendly, but the whole timed experience ( you can only stay 45 minutes inside and order 2 drinks) is quite annoying and unpleasant for someone on holidays
First time coming to the Cantina, and it lived up to the hype! This place is like you're in a Star Wars movie. The inside is incredible. It's such a cool vibe! Our group tried a few different appetizers and a bunch of the drinks. Everything was delicious and well made! Came out pretty quick as well. My favorite drinks have to be the Coruscant Cooler and Fuzzy Tauntaun. So, so good! Would highly recommend both. We had a reservation, and like many other reviews, you do share a table with another party. It does get busy inside and can feel a bit crammed, especially with having to share tables - but then again, it's Disney. Service was okay, nothing special. Prices are on the high side as well, but you're here for the experience! Overall, definitely recommend visiting the Cantina! It's absolutely worth checking out at least once, especially if you're a Star Wars fan. Take a seat, grab a drink, and soak in the feeling and vibe of the Cantina. You won't be disappointed!
Unfortunately that’s how from being amazing am unbelievable places go down to just fine. Before when they just opened they didn’t allow kids, which was start. The DJ is not blasting cool music like before for some reason. We coming to this bar since they opened and it’s not the same anymore. Drinks tastes the same tho no question here. It’s not cool and not fun anymore
Very fun atmosphere. Get reservations to avoid standing tables. The non-alcoholic drinks we tried were all fairly sugary for my tastes, but the pretzel bites and a chili cucumber dish we tried were both super yummy. The blue milk comes with a little cookie, too, that we enjoyed. Must see for big fans of Star Wars!
My partner and I went twice during our stay over two days. The bar looks cool and follows the Star Wars theme well with pretty good themed drinks. Expect to spend about $15-20 for each item. As you've probably seen from other reviews, there is a two drink limit and 45 maximum time. A point of frustration is that most of the tables are standing tables where you are frequently placed with another group if you don't have a large group of at least six. This can either be a positive or negative feature. The first time we went, we were placed with a nice bunch. The second time, however, another group was placed after us that kept slowly pushing us off the table. Also, after being on your feet all day, standing in a crowded bar doesn't give much reprieve. To get in, you have to join a virtual waist list before getting in the line outside of the cantina. Both times, we followed the system properly but there were groups in front of us who had joined the physical line without joining the wait list first. Instead of making them leave the line and follow the very easy instructions within the app, the cast members walked them through the entire process and then checked them in before us, so they entered the bar ahead of us. It is very frustrating to follow the rules and then see people be prioritized who did not follow the rules. Lastly, despite this being a bar and previously being an adult-only experience, it is now filled with children. The only requiremnt to get in is to have at least one 14+ year old member of the party. With the tall standing tables and seedy bar atmosphere (as it is in the movies), it doesn't seem appropriate to allow young children into the establishment, let alone groups of entirely minors. Also, with the standing tables, both times we visited, we saw at least a couple small kiddos running around/playing; with how little space there is in the bar, they were bumping into people not in their parties and nearly bumping into cast members with trays full of drinks. They do offer snacks and non-alcoholic beverages but, again, it doesn't feel appropriate to being so accommodating to minors in a bar. While I understand parents still wanting to experience the cantina, adults also deserve to have one spot in the large park that can be child-free. If you are a Star Wars fan and already at Disneyland, it's worth a visit but I would strongly dissuade someone from going for the sake of visiting Oga's.
We walked up and didn't have reservations. We were first in line but they kept taking other people so I'm not sure if they had reservations. The wait was so so for being first in line. We had to stand at the bar and waited a long time to order. Since the drinks are premade you can't just order anything basic so we did non alcoholic and enjoyed them very much plus we saved money. I'm glad I went once but I think they could do better. There were no characters inside and the bartenders were not in character. It was nice to try but don't think I'll go back. Just a so so experience. Not the best and not the worst. I wouldn't bring kids in there either. It's way too noisy and you probably won't get to sit down.
Not much options for food. What they do have is amazing. Souvenir mugs are great but pricey. The drinks are great, I love the Gamorrean Ale! There's a lot of "standing room only" tables, which sucks majorly if you've been walking all day. Considering how popular the place is, it's too small so it's always too crowded. It was also too loud so we couldn't hear the Droid DJ ): The bar itself is perfectly themed and feels like a Catina you'd see in Star Wars.
A must go if you a visiting Disneyland. It is designed like an outpost from the Star Wars movies. The drinks are unique, but way overpriced even for Disney. There is a limit of max 2 drinks per person and 45 minutes total. The place is spacious but they cram you into tiny stand up tables with 6 other people. There is a variety of beer, cocktails, mock tails and wine. The line to get in is long so be prepared to wait.
This was my first time at Disneyland and I was so excited to check out Oga’s Cantina. My husband’s a huge Star Wars fan and I love the look of the place, so I was hoping for the same awesome experience we had in Florida. But honestly, it was kind of a letdown. I booked the reservation early, put in that it was our first time, anniversary, and even requested bar seating… but it didn’t matter. They sat us at a table with a bunch of strangers. The people were nice, but it’s so loud in there you can’t hear anything, and sitting away from the bar is just boring. The bar is where all the fun is — the bartenders are interactive and there’s so much more going on. The vibe could definitely be better if they added more Star Wars stuff around the room. Like, throw in some stormtroopers, Chewbacca, or even a droid hanging out to make the whole place feel more alive. Our server was okay, but didn’t seem super into it compared to Disney World where the cast members are really enthusiastic. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the hype for me. Unless they make it more fun and interactive, I’d probably skip it next time.
⸻ I visited Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, on August 4th with my four young children (all under three years old, including an eight-month-old), hoping to enjoy a quick break at Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge. I was excited to experience the themed environment and enjoy an adult drink—especially on my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, the visit was incredibly disappointing due to terrible service and miscommunication from the 3 o’clock staff. We waited in the walk-up line for 35 minutes and asked multiple cast members about stroller policy. One staff member said we could bring our stroller inside; another told us it wasn’t allowed just as we were entering. That kind of last-minute contradiction with no apology or helpful direction was frustrating, especially with tired kids and a baby in tow. Had we been informed correctly from the start, parking the stroller around the corner would have been fine. But the inconsistency and lack of empathy from the staff ruined the experience. We weren’t asking for special treatment—just clear and respectful communication. It felt like no one cared. We ended up leaving the Cantina and spending our money elsewhere. I’ve always viewed Disneyland as a place of magic and excellent service, but this was the opposite. I didn’t feel welcomed or supported as a guest, let alone as a parent trying to manage a group of toddlers. On what should have been a special day, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and emotionally. Oga’s Cantina may be cool in theme, but with service like this, I won’t be back. I will be spending my money elsewhere.
Had a great trip to Disneyland but our visit to Oga’s Cantina was a bit of a disappointment. One of our drinks tasted like cleaner and was very bad. The others were not so bad and the theme was awesome. The atmosphere was incredible overall with great decorations matching the Star Wars theme. We did find our server to be rude which caught us off guard since it felt like it was for no reason. It actually made us quite upset as we were being nice and he kept snapping at us. Not the best time. I would not come back here next time I visit as there are way better drinks in other areas of the park. May be worth for a one time visit to try it out and check out the inside, but not a repeat experience. Overall disappointed in the service and quality.
