Tandoori Garden (Niku Sushi) is a popular AYCE Japanese restaurant known for fresh fish, diverse sushi rolls, and attentive service. Many reviewers specifically praise the sashimi bowl and garlic edamame. Some report inconsistent sushi quality and longer wait times during peak hours.
Tip: Go when it's not too busy, like around 5pm on a weekday, to avoid long wait times and enjoy a more relaxed experience.

I recently visited Niku Sushi and was thoroughly impressed! The portions were perfectly sized—just enough to satisfy without overwhelming. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, making for a great dining experience. The restaurant and facilities were spotless, which I always appreciate. The service was wonderful, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Best of all, the food was incredibly affordable, which is a rare find these days, especially for sushi. If you have the appetite for it, the All-You-Can-Eat option is spectacular! The quality remains high, and you really get your money's worth. I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re a sushi lover. All in all, a great experience at a reasonable price
Place was packed and for a good reason, sushi quality is great, attentive service! It was so so busy in there and our server Emily still managed to stay on top of everything and give us a great experience
The sushi was delicious! I especially enjoyed the Shrimp Lover Roll it is super fresh and full of flavor. Emily provided excellent service and made the experience even better. Highly recommend! 🍣
This is such a good spot if you want your sushi fix, but don't want to break the bank. I think it's the best all you can eat sushi in the area. I will definitely come back again!!! 🍣
My orange dragon roll was great! The garlic edamamme was the best I've ever had. Combined with great service and an AYCE option, they've made sure we'll be back!
AYCE sushi was a nice experience! My favorite items were the carpaccio sushi, especially the salmon and the pepper salmon were really good, fresh and juicy, my favorite ones. Also the salmon collar was so good: fatty, rich, flavorful cut and excellent fried. The kani mango salad was a sweet and delicious item to try. The Tonkotsu Ramen was rich, dense and flavorful, but it wasn't as hot as I like it, it was warm... Mochi Red Bean Ice Cream 🍨 was yummy!!!
We came in for all you can eat sushi and it was delicious! The AYCE menu was huge and the food came out at a perfect pace. The staff was helpful and very nice! Would highly recommend this restaurant!
This is my favorite sushi place in LA! And my boyfriend's second favorite. The food is great! The staff is kind and very attentive. We had the all you can eat and tried a variety of rolls. All were good. My favorite was Iceland.
Good quality food! They don't put too much sauce on the rolls, thank goodness. Highly recommend the carpaccio, the poke salad, and the baked scallop with noodles. The salmon roe sushi and salmon collar were also good. Getting ayce VS ordering on the menu are both good deals, just a matter of how hungry you are.
Great food. Plenty to go around and friendly staff. Emily was our waitress and was knowledgeable and helpful. Also Karla was another waitress that was extremely awesome and helpful .
Talk about customer service! I've been here for a while taking care of my baby and they have all been so sweet about it. I greatly appreciate it. Food was made to my liking with modifications. The place is clean and nice. Their lunch special is pretty good too. Give it a try.
A hidden gem in Anaheim Niku Sushi is the place for AYCE sushi. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious. Emily our server is very friendly and a happy individual. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking at an AYCE sushi restaurant.
Took my wife and son for dinner while we were here on vacation. We loved the wide selection on the menu. Service was excellent also. We were thoroughly pleased and full after our meal.
Oh my goodness. I was enthralled by my experience coming into such an establishment. The amalgamation of flavours sent me through a whirlwind of excitement. The hot tea i was first judging for not coming in ateapot turned out to be the best cup of tea i had in eons, if not ages. Shall i recommend this spot to friends? Yes. Will i come again and enjoy a great cup of tea? Of course. Thank you so much for your service
I haven’t had AYCE in forever, but my friend highly recommended this place…AND IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. Great food and great vibes (and pretty affordable) is all I ask for. Shoutout to the sushi chef! A huge thank you to Henry and all the other servers for their amazing service and making this a lovely experience. Thanks to them, I’ll be back for sure!
This is the best AYCE (All-You-Can-Eat) sushi in Anaheim Free parking lot with no valet service. Easy PWD access. There are lots of outdoor and indoor seating. There are numerous choices on their menu. Bigger than usual nigiri servings. Average handrolls. I love their beef ramen. I would come back just for that. Staff were all helpful and friendly.
My husband and I came here twice. Once with three babies under three years old and the staff was very patient and polite. Super friendly and service was great. The sushi was incredible, so many options and great variety. We just went back this weekend without the kids and were lucky enough to have Ratna as our server again. She made perfect recommendations for which rolls and things to try. The fish they use is by far the best quality I’ve had in a long time. This is my new favorite sushi spot and we live about an hour and 20 minutes away. Absolutely worth the drive !!
Clara, Emily, and Ratna took great care of us and provided us with amazing and fast service. Really great sushi, clean with great sashimi portions and not too much rice. Rolls are really good and lots of options. They also have special items like yellowtail jalapeño, salmon belly as part of AYCE. Must try!
Garlic edamame was delicious with lots of minced garlic, just the way I like it. The sashimi salad was pretty big with large slices of fresh tuna, salmon and yellowtail so I shared it with a friend. Ordered the crazy tuna roll for myself and it had plenty of spicy tuna and the splash of ponzu gave it a great tang. I would highly recommend Niku Sushi. Good service, food and location.
This place has some of the best sushi in Anahiem hands down! We went for AYCE, $38.99/person, and we may have overdone it, but boy was it worth it! The quality of the sushi was amazing, every fish was basically almost melt in your mouth good! Katsu was amazing, had a great crunch, the sauce gave a great tang. The Ramen, the dashi was creamy and delicious. Noodles were a perfect consistenty. The bone rib was tender and delicious! Place is great!!! Please go try it!
Amazing food! Really great service also! We were quite full by round 2 for the all you can eat. The salmon is really fresh but our favorite was the jumbo shrimp!! Soo juicy. The timing for the food was just right, and the taste was even better!! I think it's the best value for money! !
Wow! A great new place in Anaheim for sushi. The place is beautiful. They did a great job with the remodel and decor. Prices are average. They have an all you can eat option for around forty dollars (sorry, I forgot the specific price). The pepper lobster roll was delicious and filling. 10 out of 10, I recommend!! 👍🏽👍🏽
Excellent service. Delicious food! I would recommend a reservation for special occasions. You can try to wait in line on a wait list but wait times can vary. I had Garlic Edamame, Tokoyaki, a Rainbow Roll and some fresh Green Tea. I will definitely be coming back ❤️
Niku Sushi in Anaheim is a total hidden gem for AYCE sushi lovers. If you’re looking for fresh, high-quality sashimi, this place won’t disappoint. Each slice melts in your mouth, and you can really taste the freshness of the fish. But Niku Sushi isn’t just about sushi. They also serve up satisfying ramen bowls, perfectly seasoned appetizers, and all the classic Japanese dishes you would expect from a great sushi house. The all-you-can-eat concept here actually feels premium. Nothing tastes like it has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. Portions are generous, presentation is thoughtful, and the menu offers enough variety to keep you coming back to try something new each time. The restaurant itself has a relaxed, inviting vibe, making it a great spot for casual dinners with friends, family, or even a date night. Service is friendly and efficient, so you never feel rushed while enjoying your meal. If you’re in Anaheim and craving sushi that is fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, Niku Sushi deserves a spot at the top of your list. It is a rare AYCE spot that actually feels like quality over quantity and that is something sushi fans know is hard to find.
Honestly very good for AYCE, the fish is decent sized and not too much rice. Plenty of options, good non sushi options as well. The fish is very fresh. Staff is very nice and explained the rules and systems very clearly. 10 minute break between orders but you can queue up your next order. You can get 10 orders in which is way more than enough food for two people. Will definitely visit again.
I was in town around anaheim and wanted all you can eat sushi. Found this small stop and it is a hidden gem. The way to order sushi and other menu was really unique. They use a tablet and I just click and it goes to the sushi chef and delivered to my table quickly. Quality of the fish was very good texture, I really enjoyed their beef bone ramen, very creamy. Will come back to this spot again when Im in town again!
The service was excellent, and the food is absolutely worth the price. Everything we tried was delicious. Asian food in the U.S. is often hit or miss, but as a Taiwanese , I can confidently say this place is the real deal. Highly recommended👍
Some of the most amazing ramen I ever had. The miso soup was amazing. The sushi was so delicious. We couldn’t even make it to round 2 when we went but would definitely go back. The food and the experience was amazing.
Niku Sushi is an absolute gem. The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are well-balanced, and every bite tastes thoughtfully made. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. The presentation is beautiful, the service is friendly and attentive,
First time here after hearing great things — and it didn’t disappoint! Most AYCE places are pretty similar, but their sashimi bowl is next level. Fresh, beautiful, and packed with flavor. A must-try! Came a little after 4 PM on a Saturday and had to wait quite a bit since there weren’t enough servers. But after 5 PM, everything picked up. I've been to most of the popular AYCE spots in OC, and honestly, for this price, this one’s worth it. I’ll be back — wallet ready! The sashimi bowl was the true star of the meal — beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and so thickly sliced that it honestly caught me by surprise. Easily the heart of this restaurant!
Another favorite restaurant to go near our home. It’s very clean, not crowded, very large space with outdoor seating. Friendly staff, easy parking. Come try their food. We usually get the bento box, and their rolls are a good size portion.
The other day I was at Disneyland with my wife when we decided to look for some sushi in the area. We went on yelp and found Niku Sushi about 10 minutes away. Wow this has to be some of the best AYCE sushi spot we’ve been to in a long time. The fish was very fresh and they had a lot of meals that were made from the kitchen. Absolutely amazing. The service was unbelievable in the restaurant. Ambience was nice. It is such a huge restaurant. The fish was very fresh and tasty. We have found our go to spot next time We are in Anaheim.

Always a great experience, and they have a lot of fun appetizers along with many different rolls to choose from. Pictured is their Golden Philadelphia and Iceland Roll.
We love coming here! Have done all you can eat before, but a la carte is good too. The bento box is a great deal and very tasty. The Anaheim roll is my favorite. Clara was our server tonight and she was very nice and helpful. We like to sit at the bar, the sushi chefs are always fun too and nice too!
Henry was an excellent server. He and all the other servers were friendly, quick, and made sure we were taken care of! We had a great time and enjoyed all the food, which came out quickly. Juan, the sushi chef, is an artist and gave us sushi with the most beautiful presentations. The food was all fresh and tasty. The ambience is nice too.
Tonight was my first time coming here. It was my birthday and came with my boyfriend and his family. The ayce menu was really good the only downside to this place is they did not serve smelt eggs on the ayce menu. There is a 100 minute time limit for the ayce option but you can order more food every ten minutes with up to ten rounds of food. I would highly recommend this place.
Henry’s, the other server’s and the sushi chef’s friendly and helpful service made my experience great at niku sushi! The food was delicious as well, some of my favorites were the beef short rib as it was flavorful and tender and the special no rice cucumber roll had crunchy, citrusy burst! Thanks to everyone for serving us a delicious dinner!!! Would come back and recommend!
Great service! I enjoy coming here everytime. The food is great as well as the service. The prices for AYCE are reasonable for the amount of food. Emily was our server and she is very pleasant and friendly. Definitely coming back again and again.
Came in on a Friday around 5pm and it wasn’t busy at all, which was nice. It did start to fill up shortly after. The waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food was good and tasted very fresh, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant. Solid spot for sushi. I would recommend coming to try their all you can eat.

This sushi restaurant offers all you can eat. Customers can have three rounds of ordering opportunities. In each round, they can order their favorite Japanese dishes and sushi and choose the quantity. However, some foods can only be ordered once. The quality of the sushi is good, and some of it is even surprising. In addition, the waiters' service is very good and efficient, and the seats in the restaurant are quite comfortable.
Overall, a good experience. Staff was helpful (it was our first time at this location), and service was pretty quick. It wasn’t too busy. The rolls were fresh, and we ordered our money’s worth. On some of the rolls, the sauce/toppings either made it better or made it worse. I was scraping off some of the heavy sauce from some pieces. Oddly, I enjoyed the Orange Chicken and the Chicken Katsu more than some of the rolls I ordered. We were in the area to take care of some business, so I’m not sure I’d be going out of my way to go back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️ We had an incredible experience at Niku. The ambiance was elegant and inviting—with perfect lighting, a fresh seafood bar, and a buffet featuring premium Wagyu cuts with beautiful marbling. The staff made the whole experience easy and enjoyable by walking us through the menu and explaining the service style in detail. The seafood bar was exceptional—unlimited lobster and crab legs, all perfectly seasoned and far above the usual buffet standards. Honestly, we may have wiped out the seafood section ourselves, haha! Every dish—from the Wagyu dumplings to the rich, savory shabu shabu broth—was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. We went with the $109 menu, and it was more than enough. We could barely finish it. The $159 upgrade didn’t feel necessary unless you’re aiming to try absolutely everything. ⛔️‼️⛔️‼️⛔️However, a serious word of caution about the valet parking: It was a complete mess. We were not given a valet ticket upon arrival, and when we went to retrieve our car after just 2 hours of dining, they tried to upcharge us from the validated $16 to $60. To make matters worse, three other customers were also caught in the same situation—visibly upset, yelling, and accusing the staff of scamming them. It completely contrasted with the otherwise high-quality experience inside the restaurant. In short: the food and service at Niku are top-tier and worth every penny. Just be very careful with the valet situation—plan accordingly or consider parking elsewhere.
The sushi was a little below average but the appetizer was really good. The price is slightly higher than other AYCE sushi restaurants of the same calibur. The sushi was pretty inconsistent in taste, I ordered two rounds and they tasted completely different. The rice ratio isn't great. I think it's given more credit then it's due because it's the only AYCE sushi restaurant next to disneyland. I wouldn't recommend
I wasn't in the mood for sushi so ordered the bulgogi for pick-up, maybe not their best dish being a sushi spot. Somehow they gave me salmon instead so had to walk it back but luckily I was staying just across the street. They made up a new batch while I waited.
A 3.5/5 experience that is closer to 3/5: Quality: The sushi quality was decent but inconsistent, and the other dishes were a bit more inconsistent, like the baked mussels, shrimp, and a few other speciality rolls. Price/Value: At $38.99/pp for AYCE, it’s $1 under the competition for 2025 AYCE prices - some places even have “premium” add-ons to make $45-58+ Vibe/Atmosphere: Nice-ish, although we were sat on a window seat overlooking the sidewalk that had a bright light from outside shining in and also we could smell cigarette smoke from the outside. Overall it’s a little complex that is not busy at night near Downtown Anaheim, so there is plenty of parking Service: Decent but also a bit hurried and rude. They emphasized about the AYCE rules and took out a few from our first round order due to limits on the first round, which we found odd since it was peak dinner time and the restaurant was not very busy/full Returnability: We have been wanting more AYCE places in central OC, but we may opt to go back to other ones nearby (Tustin, Cerritos) next time

When we first discovered Niku Sushi about six to eight months ago, it was a fantastic experience. Friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and a great all-you-can-eat menu. It quickly became our favorite spot. Unfortunately, things have drastically changed since then. On a more recent visit, my husband attempted to dine there while waiting for me during an appointment next door. The restaurant was practically empty, yet he was made to wait for 20 minutes without being seated. The staff member on duty repeatedly told him, in a rather rude and dismissive manner, to "just wait a minute," while she carried on with tasks that could have easily been done later. It felt less like a delay and more like a deliberate, derogatory brush-off. Additionally, the restaurant has introduced new, overly strict policies, such as not allowing customers to take even a small ice cream cup to go. To top it all off, they've placed aggressive signage in the parking lot, threatening to tow vehicles, and have set up blockades that make it difficult to navigate, causing congestion and frustration for everyone. It’s disappointing to see how far Niku Sushi has fallen, and I can no longer recommend it as a go-to dining spot.

Took my friend here as a way to celebrate for his birthday. I don’t understand what vibe me and my friend gave off but every single person there was being attended with great service and their food were arriving like every ten minutes. It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive to our table and still waited another for our other rounds. The girl was very helpful and attentive with us but the dude there didn’t seem like he wanted to be there at all. It seemed like there was favoritism. I’m not sure. After waiting for a while, our food arrived and there was hair on one of our baked rolls. Kind of upset that I paid 90 bucks for low quality service, poor care on our food and negligence. I wish I had the girls name, but she was doing a great job as a waitress. The other guy as a waiter, not so much. It seemed like he wanted us to leave as soon as possible because he grabbed my plate when I wasn’t done eating. Overall, that was my experience and I’m upset that I didn’t get a good experience like everyone else who was there that day. I’m not returning here and will be letting a few friends not to come here.
