The food was very good and the view magnificent!

We were in Port d'Andratx for a few days a couple weeks ago and went to the Garden del Mal for dinner every day. We wouldn't normally do this, but the staff was so warm and friendly that they made our time there a special experience. The food was excellent and so lovingly prepared that it tasted twice as good. I was particularly pleased that there were several (super tasty) vegetarian options. We had an entry, a main dish and a dessert. Amazing place! Staff excellent and food was unreal. We went for the teriyaki pasta ( both vegetarian) and it was unbelievable - nicest meal of the holiday. We went back a second night!

Ich habe das Garden del Mar in Port Andratx besucht und war begeistert! Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist traumhaft – besonders bei Sonnenuntergang einfach wunderschön. Das Essen war frisch, mit viel Liebe zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Die Auswahl bietet für jeden etwas, von Fisch und Meeresfrüchten bis hin zu Fleisch- und Pastagerichten. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und rundum gut betreut. Das Ambiente ist modern, gemütlich und passt perfekt zu der besonderen Lage am Hafen. Insgesamt ein toller Ort für einen entspannten Abend mit leckerem Essen und wunderschönem Ausblick. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Visited here the other evening, we were strolling along and noticed the delicious sounding menu, although we didn’t have a booking were promptly seated, the waiters/ servers were so lovely and friendly. Food was absolutely gorgeous, we had the tempura prawn sushi to share followed by the sea bass & salmon mains with a bottle of rosè blush. 10/10 place so happy we came across it!

The food here was so fresh, some of the best we've had on Majorca. The Tuna Tartare and Crispy Duck Roll were delicious, and our mains of Truffle Pasta and Lamb Stack were cooked to perfection. So surprised at how fresh all the ingredients were! Sitting out front by the water is a must to really make the experience a memorable one. The service isn't anything to rave about, but that's been a repeating theme in Spain, so keep your service expectations low, as the food more than makes up for it.

Einzigartiges Essen an einem wunderschönen Platz am Meer. Der Service ist warmherzig, offen und zuvorkommend. Die Plätze am Meer bieten einen traumhaften Rundumblick von den Bergen Andratxs über den Hafen, am Leuchtturm vorbei bis aufs offene Meer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, engagiert und schnell. Wir haben sowohl abends als auch mittags dort gegessen. Der Mittagstisch hat uns absolut begeistert. Es war sehr lecker und für jeden etwas dabei. Aber auch abends bekommt man gutes Essen in La Gourmeda Qualität. Hier gibt es übrigens (unserer Meinung nach) die beste Aioli der Insel. Garden del Mar – Sushi con vistas en el Puerto de Andratx Si te gusta el buen sushi y disfrutar de una cena con vistas al mar, Garden del Mar es un sitio que no te puedes perder. Está en pleno Puerto de Andratx y tiene ese rollo tranquilo y elegante que invita a quedarte más de lo previsto. El tartar de atún es una auténtica delicia: fresco, bien aliñado y con ese punto justo que hace que quieras repetir. El sushi, preparado al momento, entra por los ojos y sabe aún mejor. Se nota que usan buen producto y que hay mimo en cada plato. La terraza es un puntazo, perfecta para ver el atardecer mientras cenas. El ambiente es relajado, el servicio muy amable y siempre dispuestos a aconsejarte según lo que te apetezca. En resumen, Garden del Mar es uno de esos lugares donde todo encaja: buena comida, vistas espectaculares y un trato cercano. Ideal para una cena especial o simplemente para darte un capricho.

La mejor experiencia que tuve este año, por curiosidad pasando por la primera línea del puerto de andratx me encontré un chico con una sonrisa y una gana de triunfar en lo que hacía que no se podía evitar, y entonces mirándome similmente con mi mujer elegimos sentarnos, y fue la mejor decisión que tubino en toda la semana de vacacione…. We have been coming to Mallorca for over 20 years and the restaurants in Port are generally of a very high standard. Garden Del Mar is a new restaurant this year and we went there recently to celebrate my birthday. The location is perfect, at the water’s edge with a view across the harbour. The atmosphere was very welcoming, with great hospitality from the owners and their staff. The meal started with chicken satay and goats cheese salad. The main course for the family was the steak and for me, the beef Stroganov, which was outstanding, and this was complemented beautifully by a bottle of the house red wine. Every aspect of the meal was first class which was served expertly by the friendly team. We wanted the occasion to be memorable and Garden del Mar did not let us down and delivered in style. This is our new favourite, and we can’t wait to come back next year!

I can't say enough about Garden del Mar. If I could give 10 stars I would. Super easy to make a reservation, amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. Such a gem of a restaurant that I couldn't recommend high enough.

Die Aussicht ist zwar genial aber einige Sachen lassen zu wünschen übrig: - Für das Geld bekommt man in anderen Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung besseres Essen geboten. - Der Wein war in Ordnung aber auch nix besonderes. - Die mittlere Tischreihe im Außenbereich könnte man weglassen. Dadurch, dass man so eng beieinander sitzt, ist die Geräuschkulisse sehr laut.

Food was not amazing, but the view was very very good. in this restaurant same problem like in the other restaurants on the strip. when the restaurant get full, the service cannot reach a good quality anymore. and the kitchen is very slow then. we was with a child and waited almost 40 minutes for our main course. Truffle noodles are without truffle. in the end: good restaurant, but not for high quality, but with a outstanding view.

Schöne Location, aber die kulinarische Erfahrung war leider nur mittelmäßig. Ich hatte ein entrecote Medium plus bestellt, es war leider sehr tot gebraten und auch von keiner sonderlich guten Qualität, sehr Zeh. Die erste Kellnerin fragte mich erst nach dem Essen wie es war, ich sagte ihr wie ich es fand und sie sagte nur „ok“. Dann sprach ich einen anderen Kellner darauf an, der sofort mit mir diskutieren wollte, sagte dass es nicht sein kann, dass das Fleisch die beste Qualität hat usw - dieses Verhalten finde ich nicht sonderlich Kundenfreundlich. Er ging dann in die Küche und kam mit den Worten Wieder: das Fleisch ist von der besten Qualität, sie hätten direkt etwas sagen müssen. Ende der Geschichte. Der Wein ist auch sehr mittelmäßig. Aussicht und Location ist positiv zu erwähnen. Preis / Leistung stimmt für mich leider gar nicht.

Restaurant dont le 4,8 noté est injustifié et trompeur. Comme le reste. Nourriture peut-être fraîche mais elle est sans goût, grasse, et mal cuisinée. Service pas professionnel, ni connaisseur, prix chers comparé aux voisins (pulpo 32eur, alors que 22-25 ailleurs), service accueillant et gentil par les mots, mais baratinage excessif. Bref, soit ils peuvent mieux faire et on leur donne une autre chance (moi je n'y crois pas), soit on laisser tomber de suite et passer une meilleur soirée ailleurs. Avec regrets je donne 1*. 70 eur par personne.

Don’t make a reservation online, they don’t respect it! We had a reservation at 20.30, but when we arrived there was no table available. We waited about 30 minutes and still nothing. When they checked on the app, they had the reservation, they just did not respect it.
