Un lugar para perderse y disfrutar del variopinto paisaje. Las dos rutas que rodean el torcal son para recogerlas con tiempo y mirando a tu alrededor ante tales imágenes de otro planeta. De vez en cuando te cruzas con águilas,buitres y alguna cabra montesa. Hay que llevar ropa deportiva y calzado adecuado por qué el terreno es muy escarpado y pedregoso. Al final de la ruta hay un bar donde tomar algo fresco e incluso comer. Un sitio para pasar una mañana muy curiosa.

Un paraje espectacular. Esta a escasos 20 mins de Antequera. Hay un gran parking al comienzo del parque junto al edificio de interpretación. Se puede visitar hay varias rutas muy bien marcadas, pero si lo deseas puedes contratar con el parque una visita guiada. Nosotros hicimos la ruta amarilla circular es de apenas de 3kms, pero el camino es de tierra con piedras todo el rato; por lo que si ha llovido recientemente precaución porque la senda puede ser muy resvaladiza. Ademas si sufres de rodilla o tobillos, tómatelo con mucha calma porque estas todo el rato subiendo y bajando entre piedras. Al ser parque natural los perros tienen que ir siempre atatdos.

El Torcal es un lugar increíble sacado de una película de ciencia ficción. Es precioso. Muy buenas rutas para caminar en compañía. El aparcamiento para coches se llena relativamente pronto, y tienes que subir en bus desde abajo, por tanto lleva efectivo. Si tienes perros no pueden subir en el bus por tanto debes ir andando una ruta de unos 3 km hacia arriba que se tarda 1 hora más o menos. A las 14:00 abren la carretera de nuevo para subir en coche. En el centro de visitantes hay baños y una cafetería.

Un lugar mágico. Hicimos la ruta amarilla y fue un paseo super agradable. Vistas maravillosas y camino sencillo de hacer, en días de lluvia imaginonqie será resbaladizo pero en el resto de momentos bastante asequible.

Un sitio muy especial en para hacer unas marchas. El paisaje parece de otro mundo y las formaciones rocosas impresionantes. Hay que llevar buen calzado ya que el terreno como se puede esperar es muy rocoso. Tanto la ruta amarilla como la verde están muy bien señaladas.

Experiencia muy recomendable de senderismo familiar!! Información relevante: HORARIO: -El centro visitantes abre a las 9:30, pero no es necesario para hacer las rutas pasar por él. (Salvo las guiadas) PRECIO: -Entrada gratuita -Opcion a guías (Recomendada María, guia oficial del centro de visitantes) APARCAMIENTO: Gratuito hay varias opciones. Madrugar y llegar sobre las 9:00 (en temporada alta) y subir hasta el centro de visitantes. Ir más tarde y dejarlo abajo, gran parking y subir en los minibús habilitados de pago. RUTAS: Las mas habituales son la verde 🟢y amarilla 🟡 Inician en el parking del centro de visitantes, y están muy bien señalizadas. Son sencillas, pero bastante subidas y bajadas entre piedras. Buen calzado y protección solar en meses de calor. 🌧️con lluvias cuidado, mucho barro resbaladizo y peligroso, yo no recomendaría subir en esas fechas. Ambas son circulares (inician y acaban en el parking) 🟢unos 45min. 🟡Unas 2 horas También está la ruta naranja 🟠 más complicada, pero por ella suele haber fauna silvestre. RESTAURANTE: No probamos la comida, pero precios razonables, no demasiado caros teniendo en cuenta la circunstancia. Espero está reseña les haya servido de utilidad y disfruten del día.

Una visita muy interesante y obligada en la zona. Las rutas marcadas están muy bien planteadas y hay para todos los niveles y tiempo. El paseo es muy agradable y sin apenas dificultades a pesar del entorno agreste. Es aconsejable madrugar por que el aparcamiento se llena pronto cualquier día. Además, si se acude temprano, te permite disfrutar del entorno de una manera tranquila.

Scenic and rare geological formations in these heights of the coastal Andaluzian mountains. Two main hiking routes, with multiple others less known/marked. Make sure you follow the trail signs to avoid getting lost, and have a fully charged phone with a trails app (I use Alltrails) just in case

What a great stop on our Andalusia journey! The rock formations are stunning. We chose the shortest path-and it was fabulous. Plenty to enjoy, easy going. Highly recommend!

Very spectacular park. The yellow route is moderate and suitable for most people. We also did orange rout, that was a bit harder: the carved road was smaller and sometimes a bit harder to find. Advise: use "alltrails" as app to geolocate the route. The visitor cetre has a restaurant with enough choices. Come early: before 10AM so you can park at the main parking area. When full many people park down the road, but you will get fined. Police is checking on regular base.

Beautiful Hiking Area! We have been doing this Tour at the beginning of the year in January. The Weather was perfectly fine. You should bring good shoes as some parts might be a bit slippery. But overall the paths are quite good to walk at. We did bring our Dogs but they must be on the leash all time as you might spot Capricorns just around you in between the rocks. The Landscape is just breathtaking and beautiful. Definitely a Must-See place here in Andalusia!

Beautiful nature, way up was fine. There are also quite some parking spots all the way up. We have been there on a Friday in September around 17h30, and where done after a good hour (green track). Recommending for everybody who is curious and likes views 😍

Lovely prehistoric place, you can park on the Visitors Center open until 17:00 hrs, have a drink and a bite, use the toilet and begin your journey. There's 3 routes you can take, green, orange and yellow. Orange is a direct line go and come back and the other 2 are circular. We took the medium one and walked around 2.5 hrs taking many pauzes it was 32° when we were there at 18 hrs but luckily we had a wonderful wind to cool us off, we could enjoy the view, admiring the place where you can find fossils, wild goats and many birds. Amazing to see, a must to do when you visit Malaga. We will come back again and will take another route.

Great walk around one of the trails, there are 3 official trails… although there are other areas that could be seen and have no information… just visual trails where people have ventured off themselves! Well worth the visit!

Very beautiful area with amazing limestone rock formations. There are several routes which are easy to find by yourself. I wouldn’t recommend the area for people with limited mobility, even though there are some really nice views from the visitor centre. The restaurant offers full dishes, and the shop has nice souvenirs and also sells hiking equipment. Definitely recommended to visit, bring some water and snacks for the hike!

Absolutely fantastic area. Other worldly and incredibly scenic. You can drive right out to the visitor center where there is ample parking. The road there is surprisingly well serviced and wide enough for vehicles to pass each other. Lots of different routes to take when hiking different environments and difficulty levels from wide flat pathways to clambering over ancient rock formations. My six-year-old son had an absolute blast, exploring and climbing.

One of my favorite spots to go see the sunset during the week or take a hike to observe nature in the weekend. You have to go before 9-10 or later after 15 if in high season otherwise they will make you take the shuttle which is not bad but plan cash for that. You can spot the cabras montesas, orquids, peonies and not to mention the amazing limestone formations.

Brilliant trail well marked very safe, rained the day before so a bit muddy and slippery but we took it easy and it was fine just with trainers. Green trail much easier perfect for kids we did the yellow trail a bit longer but did it in u er two hours going very slowly with plenty of stops for photos.

One of the nicest place ever! Specially If you get to know the histOry! We went there by a tour guide who explained us highlighted facts about the area! It give an amazing view, whether its cloudy or sunny! We enjoyed the very best out of it. There is a place with bathroom and a small coffee shop which provides you with some drinks and small snacks. I did not see any volleyball area or swings. But it is also possible that they have these facilities. I wish you a nice tour out there in El Torcal de Antequera

El Torcal is a place where you see some real amazing rock formations in an area that has been well preserved. To reach it, either take a tour or drive as there is no public transportation due to its remoteness. The entry to the park is free, but it is advisable to plan it during a week day when you can drive up directly to the visitor centre, which has a restaurant, souvenir shop and restrooms. On weekends however, it is a busy place. They close up the road and you have to park about 5 km short. Since this spot also cannot cater for the number of vehicles, one needs to be creative in finding a spot. To reach the visitor centre from the lower parking, one can take a shuttle bus (€2 return), or hike up the orange trail. This trail is a gradual uphill climb of 3.75 km and takes the best part of 2 hours with stops en-route to admire the rock formations and many mountain goats that you encounter. After the visitor centre, the actual trail starts and there are 2 of them. The green is about a km long and takes you about 45 minutes, whereas the yellow one is a bit longer at over 2 km and takes about 90 minutes. They both are loops and you return to the visitor centre for your return. The trails are well marked, but one needs to be careful while treading the path as the stones are uneven. Wearing a good pair of hiking shoes is strongly recommended for ankle support, especially on the down hill portions. While on the trails, one is rewarded with some cool vistas of nature at work and the erosion that has shaped the rock formations. Some real lovely memories can be taken back. We saw many kids negotiating the trail with ease and so were many hikers with dogs on a leash. People with mobility issues should not attempt to do either of the trails, but can also be rewarded with nice views from the visitors centre itself.

Experiencia muy bonita, el paisaje precioso y emblemático, los senderos muy bien señalizados, no le pongo 5 estrellas xq al finalizar el sendero nos sorprendido que el bar cerraba a las 17,00 h. Y estábamos locos por tomarnos un café en aquellas vistas, curioso horario para tener tanta afluencia de gente, al menos deberían dejar para las meriendas.

Lindo parque para realizar un circuito caminando, el ingreso es gratuito, el parking de arriba es pequeño por lo que se llena rápido, abajo hay más lugar. Tienen un bus que sube y baja pasajeros por 2 euros

Zona totalmente recomendable para hacer una caminata. Es bastante peculiar el entorno con formaciones rocosas muy interesantes. Arriba hay un restaurante para tomar algo, y si no, cualquier lugar es bueno para llevar unos bocadillos. El acceso en coche hasta la zona de inicio de las rutas está restringido algunos días y horas, y se puede llegar en bus por 2€ ida y vuelta y aparcar el coche en un aparcamiento gratuito en la zona de abajo. No hay mucho, con lo que en días de gran afluencia de gente puede ser complicado. Merece mucho la pena.
