We were very lucky to get in to this place without a reservation on a Saturday night of a three-day weekend in December. So we recommend reserving a table because the food and atmosphere were amazing. It was seriously one the top ten restaurant experiences I've had. The waiter with the beard spoke great English and helped us choose delicious dishes. The crepes were outstanding, the soupe unbelievable and the polenta was something special.

We dined here and were pleasantly surprised by everything. From the welcome to the service, and especially the quality of the dishes. The Valdostan-style veal cutlet was sublime. The friendly and attentive staff, and the refined, elegant atmosphere, make this typical Valdostan restaurant definitely worth recommending and a place to return to on future trips to the Aosta Valley.

We stayed this week (before September 2025) for 4 nights. We asked in advance if it was possible to eat vegan food even though there wasn't anything on the menu, and they said yes, saying they would be happy to accommodate. And they did! Let's start with the location, which is truly beautiful. When we arrived, it was already a bit chilly in the evening, so we ate inside, but outside is also a little gem! The waiters, the owner, and everyone else were incredibly kind and helpful. The dishes came out quickly; we never waited more than 5 minutes. They were also kind enough to help us with excursions for the following days. But let's get to the food. We finally didn't have any side dishes!! They offered us mushroom pasta (fantastic), polenta concia with vegan cheese, a vegan meat carpaccio with berries and an apple cider vinegar molasses (truly exceptional), as well as burgers, vegetables, baked potatoes, gnocchi... in short, we ate and drank very well! So if you're vegan, ask—they'll welcome you warmly! And maybe they'll start adding these dishes to the menu in Aosta, too!

If you look for a delicious local food in beautiful location this place is perfect. The staff was really kind and even with short notice they found us a table. The fagottini with speck and fontina were just amazing !
