Their vegan and vegetarian options are so good! The 50/50 sides are so smart, especially because they are the size of 2 sides anyways. I ordered take out- it wasn't quite ready when I got there so they brought it out to my car. Almost forgot part of the order, and literally ran it to me. Plus the guy on the phone/ register was so nice, even while they're busy. Also, it cost about $10 more than ordering for our family at a fast food burger joint, for better quality, and we're supporting a local, small business.

I never do reviews, but I had to for this place. Tonight was my first time eating there, and it was so damn good! I had the Texas Two Step, 12oz. Cake Batter Malt, and regular sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and yummy. Only drawback is the price. I probably shouldn’t be going there too often as I’m a poor student, but I’ll definitely be back someday.

I was a little nervous based on the recent negative reviews I read but we had an awesome experience here! Staff were super friendly, great customer service, ordering was a breeze — food came out hot, burgers were so juicy and tasty, and the veggies were really fresh. Waffle fries and onion rings were also perfectly done. Kids are already asking to come back tomorrow… anyway, don’t listen to the bad reviews, this was a great stop central to Aptos and really convenient with a big parking lot and a large, clean, outdoor dining area.

OMG!!! One of the best burgers I've ever had and the chili beans were absolutely delicious too. Definitely going again and again. Oh, and the vanilla ice cream was super duper yummy too

Betty Burgers is our go to burger place in town! I get the Mad Mex every time and its always delicious. The fries are cut and cooked perfectly. Another added benefit is the employee who takes phone orders is very eager to help and seems to enjoy his job. He is very helpful on the phone and enthusiastic. We will continue to get burgers from here going forward.

Their burgers just hit different (probably marinated) : def better than in n out and of course all the fast food places. We've been coming here for years. I love the guac and bacon on the burger. The shakes are also fantastic! Highly recommended!

Eh! I must admit...the 1/4 pound Biddy Betty (kids burger) was more than enough for this senior. I asked for lots of veggies...especially my fave - onions and it was no problem...they did great and the veggies were fresh...although the burger and bun were cold. Also...after making my purchase for the burger and a large drink...when I asked for my cup...I was told to use the child's cup! I know it was just a misunderstanding...however I had to do some convincing to get the cup. I guess you could say...it's a nice burger joint!

Great burger, not your fast food thawed hockey puck, rather good ground hamburger meat. Good selection of beverages - shakes, beers, hard ciders. Consistent quality. And a variety of fries. I'm partial to the sweet potato fries.

I went to Betty's Aptos. Had an excellent time. A green wall against the street would be even better. Staff were friendly and brought the "A Game" service. My dog was with me and I saw another dog with it's owner. We all enjoyed the great weather and killer food.

Betty's opened in Aptos right in time for the pandemic, and, like lots of determined businesses, survived on take out...which we tried and enjoyed. I went inside for the first time in 2023, and I was tickled by the friendliness of the staff, the permutations available for burgers, and the upbeat feel of the place. It's not fancy, but it's friendly...and prompt! I have purchased several of the "novelty burgers" and plan to return until I have sampled the whole menu.

Fantastic milkshakes makes this a repeat for us in spite of the not so great burgers. Great Onion Rings too. It is a shame as this place could be so much better. It is usually just us and a couple of others when we go.

This is my goto takeout place for my weekly burger fix. Doesn’t get much better than a Point Grinder, onion rings, and a chocolate shake with all the calories. Food is always ready on time and served with a friendly staff.

Our first time trying this spot, and we had a really good experience. The food was great, the service was great and the indoor seating was clean and available with sports highlights playing on the tv! For 4 of us, we paid around $75, which is a little high, but the food was much better than we expected, so we’ll definitely be back again.

We’ve stopped in here several times over the years, as well as the other location. It’s good not great, but definitely works if you want a burger and fries that’s better than average. I tried the fried chicken sandwich last time and not bad, but I’m going burger next time. Onion rings are the beer battered kind, and they are good but I honestly prefer the panko style. Overall it’s good. I’ll definitely be back if it’s convenient, but I won’t go out of my way. This review is of course subjective, so if the chicken sandwich and onion rings were my preferred style I’d give them 5 stars. In general a good American style diner.

These barely had any garlic at all, a vampire could probably gag them down with just mild annoyance just like we did. I was suspicious when the kid taking our order hardly took his eyes off his cell phone to help, then immediately sat himself back down on the counter and buried his face back in his phone before I signed the credit card receipt. We threw the fries away, embarrassed we told our friends how good they were the last time we had them. So why 3 stars and not 1? Well, I had the Duke burger and even though the pineapple and bacon slices were on the skimpy side (so thin they only had one side), the beef, lettuce, onion, tomatoes and pickles were excellent. Also, the sun was shining on the deck, there was a nice breeze blowing and I thought anyone can have a bad day. Not even Betty can keep an eye on all her naughty boys, allll the time.

Food is great, even have gf options. Order is always never right, every time, something is always missing from the order.

I ordered two orders of hamburger and fresh. The hamburgers were as I ordered but there were no frys in the bag and they weren't on the receipt.

Excellent burgers, so so fries (McDonald's has nothing to worry about). Staff efficient and friendly. Seating outside was OK except for no heat lamps and umbrellas seem to amplify road noise (had to speak loudly to be heard.

I had salmon on a Caesar salad. The salmon was some 'kind' of Patty. Not what I was expecting. I couldn't eat it. The croutons were from a package, not home made, and it was cold in there. The employees wanted to keep the door open so people would know they were open? Huh?

Burger ok. Don't get the house made veggie burger unless you have to, and If that's your only choice, maybe don't go here. They also offer beyond burger but it's a ridiculous $4 more than a meat patty. That's the worst vegetarian markup I've ever seen. Any vegetarian markup is completely illogical and makes me dislike a place--this one is particularly egregious.

Use a dozen of their napkins or bring your own. Interior kept clean, but patio and sidewalks need pressure washing. Best burgers and shakes. I recommend take out.

Pretty disappointed in the burgers, and the fries were a total bummer. Tried twice, probably not going back since Parish burgers are so much better and just around the corner.

Betty's seems to be a hit and miss with us. Sometimes 4star other times, not so much. Last night it was not good. Room temp burgers and limp, tepid fries 👎. Wait staff and service were excellent though

This is the second time I’ve ordered a Beyond Burger and the second time my patty has been replaced by cow. The clowns working there thinking it’s funny to substitute cow for Beyond Burger. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, please go somewhere else. It was 25 bucks too with a tip for those d-bags. I will not be going back and neither should you.

Awful. I ordered to go. While I waited for my to-go order, I saw the same kid take out some trash, take orders, hand over food to a table, and make a milkshake, run his hands through his hair....with no hand-washing between anything. The soda machine was out of soda syrup. Sadly, after my 15 min wait for my food, I didn't have time to wait for my soda while the same kid refilled the machine, so I ended up wasting the $3 of my soft drink. Awful experience will never return.

A local burger shop. Space is tiny, but just the right size for a nice little gathering. Plently of parking as well. They're also dog friendly too. Atmosphere is dull and empty though. It feels vacant and boring. Needs to be more lively and decorated cause it feels hollow and dead otherwise. Really ruins my mood when I wanna enjoy a meal. Prices have skyrocketed though! Over $10 for the most basic of burgers! The food is good, but NOT worth that damn much! I was a fan of Betty's, but I can't justify that price whatsoever! Not coming back anytime soon.

Don’t be tempted by the photos of large baskets of fries. The “large” fry which used to be good to share is now a small cup. Not expensive, but there isn’t a good basket for sharing anymore. Hate seeing restaurants getting cheap with something that isn’t expensive to produce.
