the bartender Meghan was super awesome and great 👍🏽 very pretty and funny and good energy. Apparently it is under new ownership now since June and the NEW changes seem good. Food is amazing and POOL is free. Definitely recommend for lunch or a night out.

I don't know why people are saying the food is bad everytime I order something my mind is blown how good it is. I mean you wouldn't think you would be getting such good food from a place off the beaten path like this but really.... everything I've ordered so far has been delicious. I don't work there, but when I saw people bashing the food i had to post. Good bartenders strong drinks too but hey to each his own everyone has an off day sometimes or something I guess I'd go check it out for sure. Also they throw reggae parties on saturday nights which I've stayed for and are like nothing I've seen. I dig this place

This is hands down the coolest venue for any artist to perform at. The bartender was on fire and gives great attention to his surroundings and is quick with the drinks as well. The sound guy had everything rocking. The staff was beyond friendly and this place needs to be a go to for any local artists or touring to stop by and perform. It is truly unreal.

Urbani (Boccis) Cellar is a hidden gem. It's a great place to find fun townie weirdos and unique live music. But this review is specifically about their private event hosting. Matt and Jeff are easy to work with, and they know how to throw a party. We had a wedding anniversary/reunion party at Boccis in Oct 2021, and it was a smashing success. The groovy dive bar transformed into a groovy dive wedding reception. They catered from their own kitchen, making some great multi-course dishes that were totally consumed by our party of ~100 people. No leftovers. They were super accommodating and willing to work with our dumb ideas. We asked for appletinis and moscow mules on tap, and they made it. We wanted nice table cloths. They bought new table cloths. We wanted The Big Lebowski playing on part of their 270degree multi-projector display. They played The Big Lebowski on one side, a slideshow album of throwback party pics on another side, and another slideshow of our pets playing on another wall, all over a stellar space background. We had an epic time. And if Matt threatens that he will get drunk and get you up on stage to play some music and jam with him, beware. He will.

This place was very interesting. I went while they were having a holloween party. Lots of events are held here I'm told. They were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had fun and would go again . I was from out of town , so it was a nice surprise.

Great space too host any type of banquet or company party. Buffet menus, bar packages, great food, pool table, dance floor! Can hold up to 100 people in the back room, cool place.

The new look of the restaurant is wonderful and they have a brand new menu to check out with lots of burgers, pizza, appetizers and even a ceasar salad. All of which looked wonderful in person. The back outdoor dining/bar area is fitted for comfort and can comfortably and safely fit a good amount of people. The pool table is now located back there too. All Covid protocol is being followed including sanitizer at the entry and, trace info collected. All in all very pleased!

Good times here, the front disguises the true nature of this residential Victorian house with a basement converted into a dark man cave with a bar and ground level stage, walk to the back barn for pool, darts, bocce, and my favorite, giant Jenga. Jules is the best bartender in town and easy on the eyes. Go when she works only!! Other servers there think they are too cool, so shoo on you.

Bocci's is a wonderful place! The food is excellent, and ranges from hearty sliders to exquisite filet mignon. They have live music most nights, and a full bar. Bocci's Cellar isn't really like anywhere else in Santa Cruz. Take a date there and see why it gets five stars :)

I didn't eat here but my friends did and they said the food was great. Drink prices are on par with other local bars. I really liked the feel of this place and the atmosphere. Very relaxing.

Pretty good. Great and kind bartenders. Decent karaoke. A bit dark and dingy, but they have this impressive cloud formation art on the ceiling made from pillow fluff and lights that are timed to look like lightning! I sat there and stared at it almost the whole time because it's fascinating.

Really small stage with no elevation but people seem to like the drinks at the bar and the DJ. Open mic cyphers they tell people they'll pay them for.. but dont.
