The manager and his employees were super helpful and kind. An item wasn’t available yet and so I had to wait for 5 minutes. They cooked a new batch just for me and offered me a drink while waiting. Then gave me a little extra for waiting. To top it off, the manager handed me a free meal card while again apologizing for the wait. Best Panda Express I’ve ever had in 25 years!

9/9/2025 Excellent branch with friendly associates! They are one of the few which have the eggplant tofu dish. The overall price can be higher than average; but they perform above average as well. Chris definitely needs to be recognized for his professionalism. I highly recommend everyone to give them a try!

This Panda Express is located inside Santa Anita mall in Arcadia, California. More specifically, in the food court area. For closest access, parking is best either in the parking structure located in the back of the mall behind JC Penney and Dave and Busters or outside Cheesecake Factory. This location is usually busy during the regular periods during lunch and dinner hours. The Panda Express serves the usual favorites: Orange Chicken, Beef with Brocolli, Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice, Chow Mein, Egg rolls. Other delicious options include Beijing Beef, Crispy Almond Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp. Enjoy!

Great restaurant, but the only problem is that they don’t give chopsticks or spoons.

The Food was good, and the orange chicken, the service was fine, and the atmosphere was great. the staff overall was very friendly, and I would go again because the orange chicken is always on point

This Panda Express is still okay but the food like chow mein is overcooked a little bit. Based on services, staff is doing okay job but they can improve more. Overall, I believe it is weird place to have Panda Express in Vons because people can buy other Chinese food outside of Vons.

The food is good, but sometimes they rush so much with the orders that they don't always remember the little things, like sauce .

Ok for the mall. But there are better options in this mall and definitely in the area.

This location is usually good but today the broccoli in my "super greens" was brown.

I went to the Santa Anita Mall Panda Express. I thought the food was delicious, until the next morning when my sister and I woke up with food poisoning.

This place was one of my go to places for lunch working at the mall. There’s a really nice manager there that usually helps me. But After my recent experience I will never be returning here again. The other manager Nick, was incredibly rude to me during my visit. Not only did he try to argue with me over what I asked him for an entree (before he even prepared it) but when I insisted he misheard me he claimed that I was lying and then started being extremely disrespectful when i confronted him about how he chose to handle it. Even told me to leave or else he would call security because he didn’t care. He even had the audacity to find my place of work and complain about me to my manager since I mentioned that I worked in the mall and came all the time. And ordered the SAME THING every time. So petty and despicable. I honestly can’t believe the level of audacity over a simple miscommunication. I’m disgusted.

Lady is very rude. Ask for extra utensils and refill was all angry. Atleast answer with good customer service. Not happy with customers then you need to quit or if your the owner take good care of customers.

I went through the lunch hour and ordered the usual Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef with Fried Rice. You think the food would be fresh for lunch but when I bit into the Orange Chicken it was so hard and gewwy like it's been sitting there since morning and that goes for the Walnut Shrimp my friend got as well to go with her rubbery dry fried rice. I remember back in the day when the cooks put heart into cooking their food now these days it seems like they cook everything fast to get it on the line and get it out the door. The Servers get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars for their kind and friendly service. If the food was better I would definitely go back but it's not so no thank you.

I paid $18 for a ( 3 ) item combo and a large drink. Pricing Complaint: The way it is priced, you pay a large uprfront for a 2 sides and 1 item combo, then for 1.50 or so more you can get 2 item, then for another 1.50 or so, u can get 3 item, the same for the drink. IMO it is very manipulative pricing where anyone with basic math skills knows it is better to opt for the 3 item combo, the same for the drink. So u leave paying $18. I would highly recommend just going to a mom and pops Chinese fast food place in your city for more reasonable pricing. Out of general principal, I would just go buy food from the other vendors in the mall food court going forward. Atmosphere/ Towards closing all you hear is the mall janitors dragging metal chairs. They need felt pads under the chairs and tables. No fault of Panda Express. Ice / Toward the end of the night, my large drink that I paid movie theatre prices for had little to no ice. I ask for more ice in a cup. The cup gave me 4 tablespoons of ice. LMFAO. haha. Something is strange about this Panda Express. It feels like you are getting the short end of the stick in everyway possible. Refills/ Not only are you paying movie theatre prices for the large drink, they charge 1.50 for refills. Talk about nickel and diming you to death. This practice is an embarrassment. My food got cold/ They were out of chow mein. So I had to wait 5-7 minutes for it. Meanwhile they put my food in a bag on the counter while it got cold. Conclusion/ This place is an embarassment imo. Everything from the pricing, to the no refill policy, to them giving you little ice in your movie theatre priced drink, to my food getting cold. Do yourself a favor, if you feel like getting Chinese food, speak with your wallet. Go to a mom and pops Chinese food place in your city. Also, if you are eating in the mall, choose a different place to eat and support them, especially if they give free refills with a pricing structure that doesn't pressure the customer to upgrade.

Literally 3 pieces of orange chicken in my 2 item plate and 4 pieces of small beef.. i spend $30 for 2 plates that were basically counting pieces that will go in the plate.. also no flavor whatsoever.. this is a place where u will question the food u are eating like how did I get to this

Whoever owns this panda is stingy as hell. I know it's not the workers because they are very nice but your not even allowed refills for a simple drink? What big fast food chain even does this anymore? Never coming to this panda again. Food was okay

The Manager, Miguel... was very rude. Not just to me as a paying customer but to my aunt whom was standing next to me. This is the worse treatment I have ever received at Panda Express. That is a very poor example for anyone on the team at this Panda location to follow.

The person who was clearly the manager was so rude to me when I asked for a plate that I walked away. Too bad. Panda is tasty but not worth being treated like dirt over.

I went there today and there was a girl that was very rude she had to be the manager because everybody else was rude with her. I didn't even finish telling them what I wanted because they were rushing me. I wish I could go back and say something so I hope they take this review seriously because next time I see that girl I might cause a seen.
