I’m a tourist to Arcata/Eureka area and I came here twice before leaving a review. First time I came was a few days ago around 8pm and it was sooo busy! We just took our food to go since there was no seating. Second time we came was today for breakfast and it was calm, and relaxing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. No fuss food that is good, super filling, and you get what you pay for. Nothing beats that. Don’t miss a chance to try their desserts!

Looks like an old dive, walking in you are greeted right away with a smiling face, and a modern facility worthy of revisiting! Really enjoyed our lunch and dessert. The homemade original pastries made it hard to pick just one!

This place is our favorite!!! Bomb! Bomb! Bomb! My family visits several times a year!!! This is the best burger I've had...and vegetable soup, say no more! Except, you must try the chocolate cake!!!!

We came to Toni’s to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. I got the fish n tater tots my man got the club and onion rings. We also got 2 slices of pie to go. We went about 12:40 on a Friday. Was a little busy but there was plenty of staff and clean places to sit. Zach was so wonderful!! He brought out the food in under 10 minutes. The food was amazing. Onion rings breaded perfectly and deep fried to perfection. Club sammich SO fresh. The fish and tots were cooked crispy and tender. We got ranch on the side and could tell it was freshly made! About 1/2 way through our meal Zach brought out our pies wrapped and ready to go. Yes it’s a little noisy…But we know it’s because people love coming here. At our table we were able to talk and hear each other easily. I’m SO glad we chose Toni’s for our anniversary meal. The desert/pie case was GORGEOUS and full of great treats. We have lived in Eureka for 30 years now and always appreciated Toni’s.

Love Toni's. It is a charming unique restaurant full of locals who love it and a staff who care about making solid comfort food. You order at the counter, from the extensive menu on the wall, and then sit wherever you want in the many different comfortable spots. The atmosphere is so inviting, everyone seems to know each and yet, many included us in their conversations. On top of the "you are already family" feel, the food was outstanding too. Lots of typical diner food choices to pick from and breakfast all day. The milkshakes are all the rave and live up to the hype. I tried the "chicken pot pie soup" and it was literally like having gramma's chicken pot pie in a bowl. Delicious. The cheese loaded tater tots, suggested by a local, were perfectly crispy while also covered in warm real cheese. How they achieved this without soggy tater tots is surely magic. The turkey club was massive and the rye bread delicious. The homemade pies and gorgeous baked-goods are super tempting beckoning from their attractive displays. The service was prompt and friendly. Definitely glad we stopped at Toni's and discovered this gem of a local restaurant.

Came here for dinner late night after a day in redwood national park. It was nice to get food so late. ☺️. I tried the mushroom burger with beef patty which was pretty good. My wife took the chicken sandwich which was a bit dry . My friend took the veggie sandwich which was okay as well. I also tried a basket of fish with onion rings. The onion rings were not too great but the fish was good. I also took a Brownie sundae which was pretty filling and tasty. The service was pretty good as well.

Went here for dinner around 9pm and the place was packed! The line was out the door and more. Their staff is great, they work hard and are very pleasant.

We tried a sticky bun and a bacon cheeseburger with a side of homemade onion rings. The sticky bun was the star. The caramel was very buttery. The onion rings were very crispy but needed a touch of salt. The burger was decent. Nothing ro write home about, but still tasty.

We are on a trip and I honestly feel that this place was such a waste of calories. Their menus are in two completely different places so you don’t even realize there is a breakfast menu, then you order before you sit down so you don’t have time to look over a large menu (I should’ve known, a place with a large menu means nothing is fresh), none of their burgers come with fries even though they’re over priced. The guy taking our order was nice but after that we weren’t ask how everything was, if we need a refill on coffee or anything. The piece of pie was not good and for a place that seems to bake a lot I was surprised. The clam chowder was full of huge potatoes and the crackers that came with it were completely stale. After reading reviews it seems a lot of locals like this place, that makes me feel bad that this is their baseline of what a good restaurant is. Because it’s 1 star at best.
