Abbiamo mangiato in due benissimo e tanto! Un antipasto diviso due, due primi, due secondi, acqua e mezzo litro di vino, caffè e amaro offerto da loro, 50€ totali. Per me i prezzi sono veramente al di sotto della media nonostante la qualità di tutto sia ottima! I ragazzi in sala sono gentilissimi. Quando si trovano posti cosi è sempre bello! Grazie per il pranzo e alla prossima!!

Siamo stati proprio oggi a pranzo in questa bella osteria proprio fronte la piazza principale di Asti. Siamo stati fortunati a trovare posto senza avere prenotato in quanto c'era la festa di carnevale di Asti e quindi il pienone era scontato. Menù proposto è di tipo piemontese con qualche sfumatura di pesce. Abbiamo preso il tris di antipasti di terra, dei tagliolini in crema di tartufo nero, dei plin al brasato burro e salvia ed una cotoletta alla milanese. Il tutto davvero molto buono e servito da personale cortese e simpatico. Seconda visita recente ad Asti ed anche questa volta ampiamente soddisfatti complice anche il clima di festa di una bellissima festa di carnevale.

Siamo stati a pranzo, siamo andati presto perchè senza prenotazione (che consiglio fare). Sono stati gentilissimi, servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo scelto sia il menu mare che il menu terra. tutto ottimo, in qualità, dosi, prezzo. Tutti soddisfatti.

Cena di sabato sera, 2 adulti e 2 bimbi di 7 e 6 anni. Primo turno alle 19:00. Servizio veloce, gentilezza, ottimo cibo, ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente. Ci hanno offerto anche una pizza durante l'attesa degli antipasti. Numero uno ad Asti

Went there as a big group (approximately 13 people) , ordered a lot of food for the middle while also everyone had their own plates. Every dish that we had was immaculate and perfect in taste. Staff was awesome and helped us through everything that we requested. They were fast and helpful. they even brought some focaccia on the house! Overall experience was 5/5 and I highly recommend this place for some big groups like us. (My favorite part was the sparkling white wine :D)

We arrived at 2:30pm and the waiter managed to find us a table (restaurant was crowded) he was very nice with us and the kids and gave us good advises for the food and wine. Food was very good. We recommend this centrally located place.

Hospitality and food was top notch. So thankful we had the opportunity to come here and have one of our best dining experiences since touring Italy. The gorgonzola pizza appetizer was amazing. We were lucky enough to come when the white truffles were in season - holy cow, what a treat! Had some wonderful local tiramisu for dessert. My wife had a steak and it was prepared excellently. The staff was so friendly and welcoming - made us feel like we were coming home to family and being spoiled.

Ho avuto un'esperienza deliziosa all'Osteria del Palio! Il Tajarin con gorgonzola, speck e noci era squisito, e lo stinco era davvero molto buono. Il prezzo era ottimo e il servizio era cordiale e accogliente. Consiglio vivamente questa osteria a chi cerca una buona cucina a prezzi ragionevoli!

We had dinner at Osteria del Palio as a group of six, and overall it was a wonderful experience — the food was absolutely sensational and the prices were more than fair. You can really taste the quality and passion that go into every dish. We ordered six antipasti or primi piatti, followed by six primi or secondi piatti, and everything we tried was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. For six people, we paid around €140 in total, which is an incredible value for the quality of food you get here. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and a very good location, easy to reach and full of local charm. It’s definitely the kind of place where you can enjoy a real, authentic Italian meal. The only downside was the service, which was a bit inconsistent that evening. We waited about 10 minutes for our wine to be opened, and the time between courses — especially from primi to secondi — was quite long. After finishing our main dishes, we had planned to order dessert, but unfortunately, it was impossible to get a waiter’s attention. After waiting for about 30 minutes, we decided to skip dessert and pay instead. Despite this, the food and prices fully deserve five stars, and I would still recommend Osteria del Palio to anyone visiting the area. If the service improves just a little, this would easily be a five-star dining experience.

Price-performance, I would say, is good/ very good. My Focaccio with Tomato (sauce) and mozzarella had nice taste, At another table, I saw the mixed grilled meat plate. This was huge for the price. Service average, but not bad. Sitting outside is near to the street. In the evening, when not so much traffic, OK. I was not impressed, overall, but so far satisfied.

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch on our way back from the Piemonte. It was one of the few restaurants opened in Asti. It was packed with Italian families. And I understand why. The food is absolutely value for money. Typically Italian basic cuisine; pasta's, meat, salumi and cheeses. The service is fast but not very educated. A lot of shouting between the staff in the kitchen and those serving the food and taking the orders. If you're looking for a cheap and fine lunch, it's a good place, otherwise find a better place. But don't go on Sunday's because Asti is completely deserted.

Very nice locals restaurant on the main square in Alba - wonderful smelling pizza oven - we had reservations which I would recommend for a party of two or more Everything was excellent! Had we known we would have had a pizza appetizer we might not have ordered so many courses for lunch. Portions were big so we shared some with friends. The favorite was the salads and the pizza but my pasta with mushrooms and pasta bolognese were perfectly flavored Definitely a keeper!

Purtroppo avendo chiamato tardi avevano posto solo nella veranda e non si è dimostrato un buon ambiente per cenare. La saletta era buia, fredda e stretta, i tavoli malconci, è stato tutto molto complicato e caotico e non vedevamo l'ora di andarcene. Le focacce (pizze) erano buone, la carne meno. Il cameriere che ci ha serviti era simpatico. Forse all'interno è più confortevole e non posso esprimermi, ma sicuramente c'è da lavorare su più fronti. I prezzi sono abbastanza bassi.

Very poor food, slow service.Starter of carpaccio of fish was dry, sticking to the plate, not appetising. Tagliatelle with prawns had no prawns in the sauce, just 3 whole prawns on the side which were very tired and not fresh with little meat on them. Really very poor. Heaven knows where all the positive reviews came from, this place seemed like a 3rd rate tourist trap.

Food is fine but place was dirty -- lots of crumbles and a dirty napkin under our table and toilet in really poor conditions. Perhaps this was because we arrived at 2pm, so end of the lunch, but still if you receive customers you should provide a decent service

If you are a fan of real italian food, dont go - clearly a tourist trap. Reason for large number of ratings is the tour groups - saw at least one when we were there. Food was terrible - both my partner and I had the truffle pasta. It was made with that fake truffle paste and the pasta was so over cooked that it was almost mushy. The entire time we were there we had multiple flies all around us and the staff didn’t seem to care. They serve this sparkling wine to start that was truly disgusting and we saw on the way out that they have hooked up a keg of wine to a carbonator and pull it like a draught beer. We left without eating our full meals - truly terrible place.
