Opinions de You Jia Asti
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and finally, one day for lunch, the opportunity presented itself! I echo the compliments of those who wrote a review before me: unique dishes with a decidedly more homely flavor. You can really see the love they put into cooking for people... It's a little more expensive than other Chinese restaurants, but you leave feeling full and satisfied, and you don't feel like you've just stuffed yourself! One last positive note for me...there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The place is a bit small, but in my opinion, it's the best Chinese restaurant in Asti! It's a bit more expensive than other Chinese restaurants, but it's definitely worth it! It's not heavy or greasy, as is often the case with other Chinese restaurants, and serves traditional Chinese dishes (not the classic "Westernized" ones). They also offer many vegetarian and vegan options.
This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, different from the standard one we're used to. The dishes are unique and the flavors are authentic. The menu is extensive and includes vegetarian and vegan options. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it. The portions are generous, and the prices are slightly higher than other places, but the abundance justifies it. The restaurant is simple and small, and service can sometimes be a bit slow, but that's understandable. A rare gem worth preserving. Bravo!
Top!
Wow!!
I didn't have high expectations when I arrived at this restaurant, but as soon as I read the menu, which is different from the usual all-you-can-eat options, I discovered some unique dishes. I can say I ate very well, featuring typical and unique dishes. The standouts, in my opinion, are the ravioli in broth (they're called hun tun on the menu) and the stewed beef. The five-star rating also goes to the very friendly waiter. We'll definitely be back.
Best dumplings in town and nearby!
A traditional Chinese restaurant means dishes that seem homemade and generally have typical and recognizable flavors, not just because of the glutamate. The atmosphere inside is family-friendly; the place, unfortunately, isn't very large, but the positive side is that it's not a noisy place. We had a great time; everything I tried was good, and the right quantity and quality. The service perhaps seemed a little hesitant, but I think that's due to the young age of the (Italian) waiters. The owner also showed up to serve and apologized for the slow service, although we didn't think it was excessive. Finally, the Chinese chef showed up. We didn't spend much, and we were all satisfied and contented with the dinner. In conclusion, I recommend this place, which is finally different from the usual Western Chinese restaurants and cheap all-you-can-eat options.
I was surprised by the flavors at You Jia. Almost all the dishes have a presentation and flavor unlike any other Chinese restaurant. Plus, there are some traditional Chinese dishes you won't find elsewhere, like certain types of noodles and a meat dish. The staff is very courteous and helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The à la carte price is higher than average, but you can eat two dishes, dessert, and drinks for less than €20 per person.
Small but cozy, the food is very good and fresh (definitely freshly prepared), and the waitress is very friendly. This restaurant is definitely worth a try if you're looking for a quiet, pleasant dinner or lunch.
Neither good nor bad. The food was pretty good, but I've found places that cost less and have higher quality. We asked for changes to the dishes and were told that we couldn't add anything (even paying the difference), but only remove ingredients. I wasn't thrilled about this.
Service was good, but food was not top notch. Prices were cheap, so quality compared to price was fine.
This small restaurant is located at the entrance to Corso Alfieri from Piazza Torino. It's small, but it's nice and quiet. The dishes, while similar to those at other Chinese restaurants, have a different, more palatable flavor. The staff and owners are very kind and attentive. The only downside is the wait, but it's worth it. Luckily, you don't smell of fried food when you leave.
Kind and friendly managers. Simple and good food. They accepted us even with our dog even though there is not much space. Open until 3pm it gave us the opportunity to have a hot meal for lunch even if it was late. Thanks to the managers.
I've been going there for years, but tonight I tried to eat with friends. The food was nothing to write home about, although I can't say the same about the service (I was solicitous for cutlery, the waitresses were careless). The thing that really pissed me off was that if I booked a table with a high chair for an 8-year-old, the waitress couldn't come and tell us that another child had arrived. Can you leave the high chair with us? (For the record, the other child was over 2 years old, so she could have sat on a chair.) ?!!! Crazy! My friends spent the evening taking turns with the 8-month-old, waiting for their food, which was very slow to arrive. It's a shame to leave a review like that, but you should pay more attention to the staff, and above all, get a higher high chair. They're cheap at Ikea.
We went to this Chinese restaurant because it was one of the few open on a Monday evening. It doesn't hurt to try, and attracted by the positive reviews, we decided to eat here. Bad, terrible. Let's start with the fact that many dishes didn't satisfy me (personal taste). The wait was long, and the dishes were delivered in a completely random order. Your clothes got soaked in food... I would recommend better ventilation. The staff was friendly. The quality/price ratio... is debatable. 🙁
Nice restaurant, reading the other reviews it seems the food is good, but today I'll tell you about my own experience. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by smiling and kind staff. It's a shame about the long wait, which would have been justified if I'd eaten something decent. The rice noodles with shrimp I ate were dry and flavorless, easily beatable by a saikebon. The highlight came with the pork ribs, which cost €5, but they must have been exaggerating. 30 grams were the smallest and most meatless ribs I've ever seen in my entire life. I'm not exaggerating, they wouldn't have been enough for even a dog. And the icing on the cake was the water they gave me, comparable to the one the locals drink. It had a chalky taste, as if it had come from a cave. Has anyone tried that water? Nothing. I'm sorry for the bad experience; maybe I just had a bad day, but that doesn't take away from my meal, worthy of a 19th-century commoner.
