Opinions de Taco More Austin
What can I say, it has authentic Mexican food and seasoning but it also has a very friendly atmosphere that welcomes everyone. I can't recommend their goat consomé enough it's one of the greatest
Best Mexican Food In Town! The goat soup and tacos are amazing and my wife loves their fajitas. You can tell all the locals go there to eat, so you know it’s good. The inside vibes are like a normal taqueria and the staff are very quick. I would highly recommend if you want delicious Mexican food.
I highly recommend Taco More. It’s authentic regional Mexican food. The ambience is humble—not fancy. The staff is attentive and polite. The orders come out of the kitchen at a reasonable time. Staff is friendly.
I love this place because the food is pretty good but if you're a naturally salty and picky person this is not the place for you. The servers are really nice and friendly but like every other time I go there they forgot something I ordered. I never stress about it because I don't care that much, I either remind the server or just make sure I don't get charged for it. If you're laid back and like cheap legit Mexican food this is the place for you!
Great for tacos and also dinner plates. The flautas, rice and beans are excellent.
Best breakfast tacos I’ve had in a while, this place is truly a hidden gem that I would highly recommend
Good food great service
Great place...great ambience...loved the fact that the waitress gave honest feedback on certain items on the menu. My bf is super picky and overly honest/opinionated. Definitely appreciated it to avoid him giving feedback. Live music my LO enjoyed while we ate was also great!!! Will definitely be going back to try the fried Tilapia...
Some of the best Mexican food and fare the city has to offer in my not so humble opinion. All the right flavors and definitely the right price. No frills here just good food, good service and everything you need to get your authentic Mexican food-fix fixed up right. Packed on weekends -- a very good sign!
My Dad recommended me this restaurant and I see why ! Let me start off by saying i’m from The Valley, if you don’t know where it is we are 30 mins from Mexico. It’s been hard to find some authentic tasting Mexican food since moving over here and this really reminds me of home 🤍 AMAZING pozole. Only downside I can say I had was when i ordered salsa for my chips they gave me two little salsa containers which I understand bc I ordered later at night. Other than that very exceptional service!!! 🥰 Will definitely be a regular.
Stopped in on a whim. Very tidy place with plenty of seating. The staff was very attentive - but not intrusive. The sweet tea tasted fresh and had just the right amount of sugar. The salsa was delicious! It was truly the most flavorful salsa I've ever eaten - and it was served warm. The charro beans were excellent with chunks of ham. The beef fajitas were a little tough and could use some seasoning - but the salsa made up for that. The portions were generous. My companion and I both took home enough leftovers for a second meal.
Pretty vibrant place with good goat meat options. Very rare in Austin. Highly recommend goat meat food items. The staff is friendly and very big dining area
Excellent food and great service. The More Quesadilla is my go-to.
Came here for the menudo and was not disappointed. Also tried the shrimp cocktail, fried quesadilla, and the posole. It was all very good. The posole was ALMOST as good as my mom’s. They have a salsa bar and all the salsas were delicious. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the ceviche. The michelada mix tasted more Tapatío based than anything else but it wasn’t the worst one I’ve had. The food all came out quickly, definitely a plus.
*Great food*, nice ambience, and general happiness. This is one of *those* places, present throughout the city, catering to locals, serving honest, authentic, mexican food, and disseminating happiness to all and sundry. There are two locations - Rivierside in the south, and Parkfield in the north. You're more apt to get a purely hispanic crowd at Riverside, though at Parkfield you'll get a lot more fo the north austin/domain/UT crowd. Either way, the food is really really good. • The tacos are *excellent*. Go for the cabeza, chicharron, or lengua if they have them. If not, everything else is good too, but these are off the charts • The birria (goat/chickpea soup) is destination worthy, and tastes of CDMX • The salsa bar is loaded, and delectable. Beware the orange one tho'! • Beers available, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic stuff (horchata, jamaica, etc.) So, go, and be happy!
Been a customer here for a few years, their micheladas are on point. The menudo is great, their waitresses are friendly and on time.
Any time I come here I can't help but talk about the salsa. Man, it is some of the best I've had from a taco shop. 10/10 I am coming back every time im in the area for a concert.
My New FAVORITE place to eat, I literally almost started crying when I tried the enchiladas because it tasted exactly like the ones my mother would make me (she's 1000+ miles away) I really felt like I was in my kitchen at home eating.. their food was just amazing. Will definitely make the hour and half drive to Austin for this place again. Thank you to our Waitress also for checking on us but also no hovering over us like other places do! Also my husband tried the Birria Taco plate and he LOVED it as well, I would also recommend their salsa, it was delicious, I was tempted to take the bottle home <3
I've seen this place a million times when going to concerts in the area, but never made time to go. I'm glad I finally made it here! Taco More is a pretty big restaurant with plenty of tables and wait staff. Our server was very polite and attentive during our meal. We got 4 tacos: 2 barbacoa, 1 carnitas, and 1 quesabirria. All of the tacos were delicious, but my favorite was the quesabirria which was crazy flavorful with tender goat meat. We also split the goat soup. I won't come back without getting the goat soup, that's for sure. The meat was really tender and didn't taste gamey at all. The spice level was perfect as well. We spent $25 for 4 nicely sized tacos and a bowl of goat soup which is honestly less than I expected. I'll be back soon for MORE! :)
I drove in from out of town traveling the USA on a music tour at the come and take it saloon. First thing is mostly ladies that work there and all very nice and beautiful. They have one guy outside opens and holds the door for you 😂🤣Okay on to the food, it was great even took some breakfast tacos back to the bus. The house salsa was fire 🔥 just killer, I took some with me. I see a lot of needy people with some bad reviews, but this place is very good.
This hole is the wall hits the spot. True Mexican delights abound. No queso. No guacamole. Very few dishes with cheese or avocado. (Because the region this restaurant highlights - those items are not a big part of it’s cuisine) I fell in love with the Bria (Goat) soup and the Carne Asada con nopalitos. The salsa is both hot (flavor) and warm (temp). Be aware two music venues have made their homes on either side of this remnant of an east side Austin time gone by - sometimes both venues have shows going at the same time. Which can make parking (which is otherwise easy) a nightmare. (And fair warning to the music crowd: I saw them booting cars that were from the music venues - east side is not playing with their warning signs about parking) The servers and staff mainly speak Spanish so be prepared to be respectful of this when you come. They are gracious and kind with my terrible attempts at their language - but they also see my genuine attempts to be respectful and they payed attention to how much I appreciate their business, service, and food. I am not the target audience for this establishment. I am grateful and respectful while there. If people can be aware of their manners at fine dining, I hope we can also do the same for meals that are about understanding, respecting, and embracing the culture that is being shared. You can actually (for now) still see the Texas Capital building from the front porch. This tiny place has a spectacular view of downtown Austin and the Oracle campus. It seems almost a visual indicator of how this tiny but fantastic place is also still there - spectacular in its own quite way, holding on.
Excelente restaurante mexicano! The food was outstanding, and the service was very friendly (in Spanish). Parking is convenient and they accept credit cards. don’t forget to ask for their desserts as well. Unfortunately, they don’t have coffee, but they make it up with aguas frescas and soda options.
Service was prompt, our waitress was attentive. We got several different tacos and the birria, and they were good. I see what people were saying about the stale chips, but I think they’re homemade (and ours were crunchy and salted well, so we liked them!). Fair warning, the salsa that comes with the chips is spicier than your average red salsa, so if you’re like me it might be a bit much - but it burned so good and was tasty! 😂 Overall it was a nice experience.
This place is always a hit on Sunday for me especially about a night out , the pozole is always fresh and served hot well portioned and comes with all the fixing I get the smaller one because I like to sneak in a taco or two of something else this time I got the quesabirria I didn’t like so much the tortilla broke before I even dipped it in the cosome de chivo everything came out of the taco I had to scoop it with chips. The micheladas are so good 😊 great taste just the right spice n Tajín, the salsa bar has good plenty of different salsas to try. The table sauce that come with the chip they serve is good to. I love their shrimp tostada as well. The servers are always around and don’t minding helping each other out with there tables , I will be going back !!!!
6/9/19 The food here is authentic & always delicious. There is usually a wait to be seated, but I've never waited more than 15 minutes. You're seated & given a basket of chips & a hot spicy salsa (not available in the salsa bar). Drinks come out right away & food is under 10 minutes. They are very fast!! My favorites here are the sopes, menudo, & rice (soooo good).. but then everything on their menu is delicious!!! Pictured is an alambre plate, sope, & torta Cubana.
Hungover cure!!! The goat soup (consomé!!!) w/the chile de árbol dorado! I swear it will bring you back to life. Service was good, a bit loud due to live music buuuut the food is . Weekly visits.
Real mexican food, best place in town for mexican, "tex-mex" see elsewhere. Best enchilafad in town for mexican
We love coming to taco More. Always delicious, great value, yummy salsa, great service, fun music- casual and friendly

Great food! Pozole was a good 7.5/10, it had little more bones than meat but it was pretty good. Will be back soon!

Great salsa and chips to start with. The menu was very simple but food was nothing but amazing. The service was fast and attentive. If you are in the area and need a quick bite to eat I would recommend here for some good Mexican food.
The atmosphere was nice & quiet although they were busy coming into lunch. We were seated right away with no wait time. The server was very attentive and the food was good. I highly recommend the quesadillas, they are very filling & delicious. The salsa they serve with the chips is served warm and is soooo delicious I could've eaten it with a spoon by itself. Seriously, I would go just for the chips & salsa alone (and maybe a cold beer)! Haha. The self serve salsa bar is equally awesome with a variety salsas, grilled peppers, jalapenos, lime wedges, etc. Prices were on point and parking was a breeze.
This place rules. Quality Mexican food. Its clean. Great service. Cheap prices. Fully stocked salsa bar...what more could you want? I HAVE to drive down Riverside once a week for school and I make sure I eat here everytime I do.
First timer. Was pretty much empty when I showed up for dinner arund 7pm. An hour later, it got super packed. Parking was easy to find. Don't park here after 11pm because your car will get booted. Food was delicious. Complimentary chips and salsa was delicious as well. Was kind of difficult placing my order since I speak no Spanish and my waitress spoke very little English but I was able to get exactly what I wanted. Would most likely return. Pictures on Google show margaritas are served here but when I asked for one they said they don't have any. Only beer.
My life and love of salsa is instantly changed, it took until a visit to Taco More to get salsa served warm. I’ve always had it cold, but I’ve been missing out. Every salsa was so good. Seated and served promptly, friendly.
First time here. Traveling from out of town looking for a clean and decent place for dinner that is following covid-19 safety guidelines. This place was very good, all staff wore masks, tables were scattered for social distancing. Best of all, the food was great! Definitely returning next time we're in town.
This is a five star place for food and probably about a three star atmosphere and service. That said... It is a slam dunk for sone of the best tacos I've ever had. Do yourself a favor, get that goat taco. You know you're interested... Trust me, just do it. Salsa bar is dope and my Michelada packed an extra bit of zing and was really tasty.
Like many of you, my introduction to Birria tacos came from spending too much time watching mukbangs on YouTube. Watching the dipping and and succulent cheese pulls was more than my I could resist. I searched for birria tacos through Google maps and Taco More was one of the first suggestion, so I went for it. I headed to Taco More and was greeted by the sweetest mother and daughter duo. I apologize that their names escape me but their personalities and attentiveness does not. I told them I was there for birria tacos and they immediately went into action. They suggested goat as a protein but my Americanized pallet was too afraid so I stuck to beef. The tacos came quickly and they were absolutely delicious. The interments were fresh. The Taco was filled with cheese and meat. The cilantro and onion were both freshly chopped. You get three tacos for around $10 bucks. Try doing that at Torchy’s. I’m convinced that the tacos tasted better because the mother and daughter were such sweet energies. Awesome people. Awesome food. The ambience isn’t exactly Michelin star worthy but who cares? The people are friendly and food is good!
Our favorite place to eat when we go to concerts at Come and Take It Live! The Quesabirria Tacos are the best for me. My wife is a vegetarian and loves the crispy quesadillas which are served with lettuce, tomato, avocado and cotija cheese on top. Last night we drove in from Round Rock just to have dinner there. And the staff is very nice and courteous.
My sister brought me, my husband, and our two teens to grab a late dinner here, and her significant other joined us (he had just had lunch there earlier the same day, coincidentally). Standard Mexican fare. Loved the salsa that came with the chips. I got the chicken enchiladas verde (my standard choice) and my husband got tacos. Both were yummy. Far from my fave aesthetic, with sports on TVs and no nice lighting, but we weren't looking for any special ambience that night. We did have to eventually go up to the counter to pay, which wasn't clear to us and took a bit to figure out. I would go back for the food, but very much not for the atmosphere.
Great place to grab a bite if you're going to a concert next door, or in the area. I bought 3 tacos for $10, and the portions, flavor and quality was great imo. The portions look small in the picture, but it's far bigger than what you'd get from a fast food place. It was a little greasy, but in food truck fashion. I'm not from the area, but if I catch a concert at Emo's again, I know where I'll go for a meal before a show.

I ordered a Hawaiian torta which was very good . My friend ordered a taco de pastor and carne asada . She said her taco was good , but the carne asada lacked flavor . We also had horchata and limonada to drink - could taste it wasn’t homemade so that was a disappointment & didn’t taste very well . The service was mediocre from our waitress . She got our order / delivered our food and that was it for about an hour or so . We kept looking around for her to refill our drinks and to ask for our check , but she was MIA. We had to request assistance from another waitress. When it came time to pay the woman at the register isn’t friendly/ interacting whatsoever . I watched as she interacted with customers prior to us and didn’t say hi just asked what we had to search for the bill and charged us . No “have a good night , how was the food “ nothing . With a serious face like she doesn’t want to be there .
This place used to be better and I mean in customer service better. I don't know if they're in a hurry or they just get pressured to get you out of there quickly but the server forgot to take some items to the table, she forgot to take a beer. She only came back once to check on us, and that's because she knew she forgot one of our plates. The food is good, not the best but good enough to stop by if your close by only. I would not drive out to eat here. There are better places to go.
Went here after attending the rodeo around mid March. The food was on point but the server took so long to come check on usnon multiple instances! Granted it was late but plenty of other servers were performing their server duties very well. I will update when and if I go back, hopefully, it was just a one off instance where we had a server that was tired or not feeling it that day. Tacos de chiva and tacos de cabeza were amazing!
It was okay, I mean....I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but if we’re starving we might stop by again. Their tacos are pretty plain and basic. The tortillas are thin and didn’t seem authentic. The service was alright, nothing outstanding. The place is clean though. Oh & when we first got there, we had no clue if we were supposed to be seated or not.
The menudo was too heavily spiced. It defeated the purpose of actually tasting the caldo taste of the chili peppers. Barbacoa tacos (beef head) wasn’t that good like I remembered it from 3 years ago sadly. Chips and salsa were real good. lol
The food was good. It didn’t blow me away but it did what it needed to do. The service was friendly. It was colder than i would have liked it to be inside.
Uggggg, looked sooooo good, then they were just average when I munched into them. Taco More is on East Riverside. Absolutely packed with locals, which is a god sign (I'll come back and try some non taco meals). Got a bacon and egg, chorizo and egg, and a marinated pork taco, all on flour tortillas. And that's the problem. Tortillas are a bit too thick and not crisped up enough. Bacon wasn't cooked enough either. As usual, chorizo was the best choice. Pork was fine. A bit dry. Just three stars out of five for me, but this many locals eating here means I'm going to give it another try.

Had the menudo, it was tough and did not have hominy but the broth was good. Also had 2 breakfast tacos with corn tortilla, it was ok nothing to rave about. A roach fell into 1 of my tacos from the ceiling and the waitress took it off my tab.
I usually come to eat in the mornings but today I decided to go in the evening around 8pm. Food was good, but terrible service. Server drop off the food, didn't ask if we need anything, walked away, and never came back.
Food has no flavor. The most watery beans I have ever eaten. Nice atmosphere and salsa bar. Service is okay. I wasn't checked on until I was done eating and finished with my drink. Its okay, as it was in the middle of lunchtime when I came. I might have to come back at another time and order something else to be fair and give it a chance
Let me just give credit to the North Location Taco More . Service is always great .Atmosphere is always lively and co Comfortable. Food is very good. The cabrito is shredded for you , without the leaves and stems and bones. Also the full works of condiments for your tacos. Beets and cucumbers all with your cilantro and onion. Plus when you order a lb of meat rice and beans are included. Salsa is fresh. Waitresses are great. Oh yes . Big Plus is also there’s no fee to park. Chips are fresh and crunchy not stale. So this location is not recommended, I do encourage you to try the North Location. Oh yeah ! Free parking this location charges for parking any time of day.
It may be difficult to order what you want if you do not speak Spanish. It may be difficult for you to finish the food as the portion sizes are massive. I ordered the Cubano which consisted of ham, hotdog, and another mystery meat. Bland best describes the flavour profile. While there is plenty of heat on the table in the form of condiments there is nothing on the food. I’m sure I’m missing the romance here. Just my opinion.
Muy mal servicio las meseras nomas no atiende. Una espera de 30 minutos para que me trajeran el menú

Order on a website that offered curbside cause I had my kids with me and I arrived at the restaurant and explained to the csr and she didn’t understand me so she caught an attitude and was yelling at me so I entered the restaurant and the manager was like we don’t offer that at all here you have to get out and came in and get your order. Ok no problem just letting you know that the website I was on offered that that’s what I thought he gotten snippy with me so I just grab my food and left. Finally home and open the order everything was burnt hard take a bite felt my teeth was going fall out. Called for a good 10/15 min to explain no one answered the phone. Wasted 35$ on bad service and the worst food ever. End up throwing everything away and going somewhere else to get food since my family was hungry none of them wanted to eat the food we got from this location. Set a bad standard will not be getting anything from this restaurant ever again.
Have visited this location a few times and my experiences has been negative each time. I ordered a carry out order and it was incorrect. I had to drive 15 minutes there and 15 minutes to drive back because I don’t eat pork. I asked for a complimentary cup of stock (my soup didn’t come with enough stock) and the lady told me she would have to charge me. I work in the service industry and whenever I a make a mistake, I ensure to try and make things right because of the inconvenience.
Bad customer service food didn't taste so good. Plus found a hair in my soup told the employee didn't care. All she care for was to cash me out. Store is not well keep up and for the bathroom are very dirt . Also leaking water a accident waiting to happen. I will not return here really bad service.
Place is no good..didnt like at all i wouldnt tell anyone of this place.
Iam originally from Austin. I ate here with some friends This the Worst Mexican restaurant I ever tried enchiladas don’t have flavor and birra tacos just wasn’t it the aguas Fresca over priced and taste water down 👎 2/10
This is the worst place I have ever been ! How they manage to stay open is beyond me. I cannot believe that anyone would rate this place at all. We all got sick! I will definitely be contacting the health department about this location. They need to be shut down! Lady behind register is racist, and just royal jack---! Do not ever stop, you will regret your decision and question if, you will be okay after ingesting food bought there. I would rather eat a fried burrito from a truck stop! Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this place! If you choose to not take my advice and find out on you own, beware of your decision, buy Pepto Bismo, and pray you won't have to seek medical attention!
Waiting staff is pitiful , needs a lot of improvement looks like they really don’t care about their customers
We had explained to the waitperson that it was our first time and wanted to get my son an enchilada plate. Was it spicy? She said no. Turns out it was very spicy for a child. He just tasted the sauce. Took it back, but was charged for it. Told another staff that she had explained it was. Not true! I ordered a Carne Asada plate, and the meat was salty, tough, and smelled like fish grease. It was drowned it spices so you couldn't taste the meat. I guess if I were a drinker, I wouldn't have tasted anything. We were charged for the plate for not son. We paid it not to hear everyone around the counter. Very bad experience!!! Never Again. All the waitstaff agreed with the wait person. Customer is not right in that place we didn't even touch the plate.
The food is ok but the service SUCKSSSSS the waitress got my order wrongn and when i asked if she could change kt she came back and told me I didnt know what i was eating. Then she had the nerve to come give me the check amd stood there over my shoilder looking at what i was writing in for a tip. Literally like staring the paper down. It was so awkward and rude some of the worst service ive gotten in years. The food is mid.
We heard about the restaurant that it was real good but we didn't like was the service the lady had to go get the manager to translate and the lady couldn't understand what I was saying with butter and it cost me $30 pleasant Hill plastic tip and nothing to drink but water and it was real rude and embarrassing I'm not racist or anything if you're going to work somewhere to understand English but when you talk in Spanish and you can't understand your own language for something ain't right but it is what it is have a blessed day
Of all of the places we visited during our weekend in Austin, this was the worst. We stopped here on Sunday for street tacos. We ordered three tacos each. When I went to order, I had to repeat myself no less than six times because the waitress didn't understand what I wanted. While I appreciate there may have been a language barrier, I was pointing to the items on the menu when ordering. The menu was written completely in English. (While I don't speak Spanish, I know enough that if the menu had the items listed in Spanish, I would have been able to read them and order them in Spanish). The tacos were decent, but nothing special. I wasn't a huge fan of the Pork Skin taco, but from what I saw, there was nothing wrong with it. The other two tacos I ordered were just fine, and given that they were $3 each, I can't complain. My sister was only able to eat one of the three tacos she ordered, but she admits that it was a texture thing and isn't going to blame the restaurant for that. After we finished eating, we sat and waited for our check. The waitress came by to check on us and we told her we were done. She walked away. 20 minutes later, she came by to check on us again. We told her we were done, and she walked away a second time. In all, we were there for more than an hour despite it only taking about 20 minutes to order, receive, and eat our food. When we got the check, it was written so sloppily that we could not read the total. We asked and were told it was $19 and change. (Based on Texas sales tax rates, it should have come out to $19.13) We asked for it to be put on two separate cards. We were each charged $10. While it was only a $0.87 overcharge, we were still overcharged for our meals. Rounding up our bill without disclosing it may be considered illegal. (Typically, rounding is used in other countries when paying cash due to coin shortages or not wanting to deal with returning pennies; credit card purchases are still exact). There were no signs stating that there was a $10 minimum for credit card transactions. While we hope to visit the Austin area again, we will not be returning to this place. In response to the restaurant's refusal to refund us the money we were overcharged, we have contacted our banks to dispute the transaction.
The food in this place was horrible. I got tacos de pastor and asada. What was supposed to be meat was hard and rubbery. My son had a chicken sope. The chicken tasted expired. Both of us had what seemed to be an endless night of stomach pain with diarrhea.. The dinning area only had fans no AC on top of that we had to fight off flies of our food. This place overall was nasty. They are highly priced but the quality of food sucks.
I have been a Taco More enthusiast for many years. The food and service is usually great. My former coworker and I used to eat there once a week. I recently changed jobs and have been going by myself lately. The difference in the level of service and the quality of the food is much better when I was with my Mexican coworker than it is when it is just me. If you are white, don't recommend you try this place unless you like crappy service and crappy food.
First visit I ordered some breakfast tacos to-go. The chorizo was good and not too greasy and their green salsa was good also. Since I liked the breakfast tacos I decided to come back to try some of the dinner options and was extremely disappointed both by the food and the service. I had the green chicken enchiladas, on the menu it says you get 4 but my plate only had 3. I know I should have brought it up but I was really hungry and at that point just wanted to eat. The enchiladas were OK, rice and beans not good. Multiple bites of rice were HARD! My boyfriend had the fajita plate and he said the meat had no flavor. They do not have a bar so $5 bottles of beer. My boyfriend got the topo michelada which came in a normal water cup, the person next to us ordered the same thing but hers came in a big margarita glass which would have been nice if his did as well. My biggest reason for leaving the one star though comes down to the service. Not greeted when you walk in, instead the girl at the register just stared at us blankly. After taking our order we were not checked on a single time. Not for water refills or more salsa which we needed. When they brought out our food they did not say anything to us or even acknowledge us to be honest. Consistently saw the waitress’s check on the tables directly behind and in front but completely ignored us. This made me feel uncomfortable because I felt like it was on purpose. Neither me or my boyfriend speak Spanish and I hope not- but feel like that is why we were ignored. I grew up in Austin but recently moved to this area and like I said the breakfast tacos were good and I wish I could come back because how close it is to me but you should never feel uncomfortable at an establishment you are paying to eat at.
Food is not tasty, served order was different from the one mentioned in menu. Would never prefer to eat again from this place. Prices are cheap but food was not flavourful.
Previously loved this place. The price increases and credit card fees have made it unaffordable. Not to mention they rule the parking lot with an iron fist and will boot your vehicle if you patronize any other business in the shared parking lot. Another Austin favorite lost to greed.
Read great online reviews and went to “Taco More” Austin, Tx Riverside location. Ordered Posole, side of beans, chili reanno picked up and got back home and they messed up the order and gave me menudo instead of Posole. I called and the woman in charge said they have no pick up orders at the time I indicated off the invoice after giving her the ticket confirmation time, invoice number felt like the 3rd degree. I asked if I could get a credit and she said I would need to come to the restaurant with the menudo for an exchange for Posole. I came after 15 minute drive no one would greet me. They looked at me like I was an enemy, a woman came to the registrar and I asked if she was the person I spoke to on the phone she said yes! I gave her the container of menudo. No apology, or sorry just hateful looks from her and the gang of 6 wait staff members. It’s unfortunate in my judgement the cultural dysfunction in business gives a bad impression to the business that based on other reviews provides good food. The bad reviews I read was more for bad behavior and poor attitude. Issues like food was not prepared properly for what ever reason and could have been handled with a smile and corrected and everyone is happy with a simple “sorry”. I come from Santa Fe where we have great service in general, however occasionally we have our share of occasional bad behavior. Just a few thoughts maybe someone at “Taco More” cares or is too busy ringing the register to care about the lost good manners of good old customer service. Greet with a smile, smile even more when you mess up! As they say stuff happens
This place in my opinion sucks.i didnt like it the first time i went or the secound time.i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.im sorry but this is a no go.
$52.90 for 7 tacos, 2 horchata waters and a beer. It's way too expensive for me.
Food was not worth the price we paid 40 bucks for a few tacos they were not that great and didnt wanna finish them way over priced the tortillas were not home made tasted like store bought fajitas were the worst ive ever had the bell peppers were under cooked and rubbery had no flavor and the music was so loud the waitress couldnt here us
The Menudo doesn't come with hominy it's just the meat, we had to order hominy on the side. The menudo here has a very strong cow order which if you know anything about menudo that means it hasn't been cleaned properly. Attached is a picture of the fat, cartridge and nasty bits. Wost menudo ever. Most likely won't ever return here. It gets one star because the chips and salsa were good. And overpriced.
I ordered marinated pork tacos and the food was terrible, it had a bad taste and meat almost look like plastic. Also the inside of the restaurant is unhygienic there is a smell of sewer. Not going back again!
This place is trash. If I could give it zero stars I would. I went there with my son and we started off with sweet tea. It was like drinking water. Refills took forever by the waitress. We went there for tacos but apparently all they have are breakfast tacos... why call yourself taco more if you don't really have tacos on the damn menu? I knew at this point we should have walked out the door but against better judgment we ordered the beef enchiladas for $16/plate. They were awful. Couldn't tell what kind of meat we were actually even eating and it was chewy. If you're actually in the mood for tacos do not go here. Awful terrible food and way overpriced for the slop they sell. On top of that the food made me and my son sick later on. Don't waste your money here. I dont know how this place has a 4.1 rating.
