This is one of those places that Austin locals would appreciate having arounddd Yummi’s tacos is good for what it is: an inexpensive Asian fusion restaurant with variety of choices. They have it all - Bánh mi, breakfast, tacos, burgers, boba! I had their banh mi - verdict: not truly authentic but the roll they used is uniquely crispy & pillowy without cutting the roof of my mouth. Beef (I think it’s bulgogi) is very flavorful and veggies were a nice add. Recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for delicious food that does not break the bank. Vietnamese owned local business and the owner is very sweet and attentive!

Was running an errand and came across Yummi Tacos. Since I’m not from Austin I figured that I’d give it a go based on the current reviews. Literally such a hidden gem! Loved the recommendations provided to us! I got the bulgogi bowl, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. My husband got the Rising Sun burrito. We were both very pleased! We’ll definitely be back 😌

Rising Sun burrito, Greek taco and chicken taco. Food was delicious. Prices reasonable. We could tell its a popular place with the amount of business they had. We were very pleased and will be back. In fact May have found a new favorite!

Great service. The coffee is cold, strong, and thick. I love it. Quiet dinning area. A little hidden gem for lunch or breakfast. The fries were packed with flavor. I’m definitely coming back.

What a great place. We had driven by multiple times but never visited. But wow, so glad we did. Delicious fusion of Asian & Tex-Mex. Simple restaurant setting, but comfortable for lunch. Very kind owners. Definitely worth a try; and we’ll be coming back.

Amazing food!! Wanted to try something new wince we aren’t from the area. Loved everything we got. We ordered the spicy dumplings, green milk tea boba, shrimp spring rolls, tofu taco, and burrito. Service was great. Very friendly staff.

Stumbled across this place when i went to the beauty supply store next door for work this morning & i decided to stop in with my daughter really fast. so happy i did. it is a small hole in the wall asian family owned place. the menu is pretty unique and it exceeded my expectations. the sauce they make is sooooo juicy. i am a fatty and ordered too much ( i thought it was one of those places that were skimpy on ingredients) definitely worth the try and great pricing. i got the chicken tacos and a texaritto. the staff is also extremely sweet.

I love Vietnamese cousine and Yummi Tacos & more serves one of the best spring rolls (nem cuons) I have ever had. They serve it with peanut butter sause so you can dip the rolls in. Great taste. I also bought typical sub/baguette called Bahn-mi and I am looking forward to test it later tonight. They also serve lot of tacos so I will definitely give them a try next week.

Not sure why Yummi Tacos is spelled with an I. But they were indeed VERY YUMMY! Went here for lunch on a slow Thursday and my day brightened up. The Rising Sun Burrito was delicious. There were lots of different ingredients that I thought would have clashing flavors but not only were each ingredient good, but they complemented each other so well!

Not only is everything Ive tried absolutely delicious but its cheaper than anywhere Ive been in awhile. This is one of those spots you wanna keep a secret so it wont change but so great you want to support their business and tell everyone you know. Bahn Mi w beef was fantastic and their sunrise burger is insane! They so breakfast all day!! Havent tried it yet but i will soon.

Came in for a quick lunch mid week just as a large elderly group (5-6 tables) were getting settled. Service was still pretty quick. The fish (in the fish taco) is boiled not fried like many places and the taco itself was light & refreshing. Would easily go back

Quick little stop for some fusion food. Some of the selections were ok while others did not hit the spot. Some of the meat texture in our taco and banh mi was throwing us off, but the flavor is there. I know it's a whole in the wall and probably not the best quality meat selection, so it's an ok spot for a quick bite in a crunch.

It's a Vietnamese restaurant confusingly named "Yummi Tacos". They engage in weird and slightly suspicious tip shaming where the receipt they give you is solely to write out the "tip" you are going to give for counter service and clearing away your plate yourself. Got the lunch special (usually already supposed to be a discounted meal). It was really small for $10 incl. tax and tip. Not much meat in it. Nothing special. Will come here in the future if I am desperate somehow, which is unlikely. I've eaten better and cheaper in New York City (including tax and tip, in a sit-down place like this). Honestly don't get the hype about this place. Decor was pretty interesting with photos of banh mis. Also spotless, that's a rare sight these days.
