My son & I stopped to try out "Nick & Harry's" Indian Cuisine...formerly "The IceHouse"...Loved what they did with it...Its Bright & Cheerful...Service was excellent...and The food...WOW...The meat melts in your mouth ...it so tender
The mix paratha was perfectly flaky, generously stuffed, and cooked to a crisp golden brown. The saag roti was equally spectacular, with savory, rich greens paired with fresh, piping-hot roti. The atmosphere is welcoming for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. Service is attentive and friendly. This is an authentic and delicious Indian restaurant. Staff is Superb honest and nice❤️🩹
I wanted a drink, he wanted an appetizer. I enjoyed my time there so much we left the casino to come back so I could finish the night w a few more drinks since we were on a mini getaway. The girl that waited on us was super nice. Then we ended up having many conversations w the owner he was very nice as well. Can't wait to go back on our next trip in town. I was done and then the Indian music videos came back on, so i had to order a 3rd. We really enjoyed atmosphere and everyone we Interacted with.
I've been going here since they opened up in the hotel down the street. It's nice to see they expanded to a bigger spaced location. You can't miss the pastel building! Haha I always get their thali sets, it's a good way to try something you haven't before as it comes with mutiple items you can sample or share with the table. My personal favorite is their lamb or goat dishes as locally not alot of places serve lamb or goat. If you're looking for something new in austintown area it's a good place to try!
Great food... Cooked to your desired spice preference so don't worry about it being too spicy. The cheese naan is fantastic!! Jenny is a great waitress. Helpful and friendly
Food is outstanding! Flavorful, cooked perfectly and quality ingredients. It gets busy here from all the drivers placing orders. I noticed to go orders were placed fast. The dine in food and service was slow but we understood and were patient. The food was worth it! No joke, this place is tasty! Plus, Jenny, our sever was the kindest person. We also used ChatGPT to help explain some of the foods and how to eat them, super helpful. We had: Chicken pakora Samosas Chicken tikka masala Lamb Rogan Josh Garlic naan Chai tea Mango Lassi The online menu is a little confusing and like another person said, rice comes with the masala and curry dishes. One naan is enough for two people. Salad is only greens, no dressing. Samosas are two big pieces and enough to share amongst four people. The Chai tea has milk. Mango Lassi has a hint of coriander. You pick your spice level, medium was easy for us, I wished we tried spicier.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We hosted a group party at Nick & Harry’s Indian Cuisine in Youngstown, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The Punjabi food was outstanding—rich, authentic flavors that truly reminded us of traditional North Indian cuisine. Every dish was prepared fresh and perfectly spiced. The butter chicken, paneer dishes, dal makhani, and naan were especially memorable—creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Even our guests who were new to Indian food loved it and kept going back for seconds! The staff was very accommodating and attentive, making sure our large group was comfortable and well taken care of. Service was smooth, food came out on time, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming—perfect for a celebration. If you’re looking for authentic Punjabi food, great service, and a place that handles group gatherings with ease, this restaurant is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back again! Highly recommended 👍
If you are looking for truly authentic Indian food, this is the place to go. The food is absolutely amazing. I have been looking for an authentic Indian cuisine restaurant for 7 years. That is 7 years of pure disappointment. I was driving down the road and I noticed this restaurant. I made a u-turn and went inside. The inside is vibrant and full of energy. The service was nothing short of exceptional. From the first bite to the last bite I was in pure food heaven. This place is as authentic as possible with their food without actually being in India. The prices are very reasonable considering how much food you get. I myself spent $85 to try three main meals, one appetizer and a couple extra nons. Everything I ate was absolutely phenomenal. Best $85 I've spent on food. I will definitely be going back every chance I can. Simply cannot describe how authentic Nick and Harry's Indian cuisine truly is, you will have to simply go and get a taste of India right here in Niles, Ohio.
Our waitress Jenny helped us through ordering, for this is the first time eating at an Indian cuisine. She was very friendly and several waitress' greeted us and brought a sample of sauces with pita. This is definitely a must try! You will be back to try other menu items. The breads were amazing.
Loved this place! We came in during the holidays and were so grateful they were open — and honestly, it made our day. The food was fantastic: rich, comforting butter chicken, flavorful lamb masala, a delicious lentil soup, and another dish we ordered that disappeared way too fast Huge shoutout to our server Jenny — she was funny and attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. Great food, great service, great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!
Okay, this restaurant is one of my new favorite. From the beautiful colors of the restaurant to the great hospitality of our server and really , all the staff we met. The food was amazing, high quality and very filling. The music was very fine in the atmosphere was uplifting , and we will definitely be returning. Shout out to our waitress Jenny for being such a bright fun soul we loved being in your presence.
Nick and Harry's Indian Cuisine is a vibrant and welcoming restaurant, housed in a colorful, culturally inspired building. Inside, the lighting is soft and inviting, the space is spotless, and it is thoughtfully accessible, with a few adjustable booths for those with mobility needs. I had the pleasure of taking my mother there for her birthday. We began with a flavorful cauliflower appetizer that perfectly set the tone for the meal. For our entrees, I enjoyed the Saag Paneer while my mother chose a chicken dish. Both came with generous portions of fragrant basmati rice and a simple, fresh starter salad accompanied by delightful sauces—my favorite was the mint, while my mother loved the tamarind. We both thoroughly enjoyed the creamy, comforting milk tea and the warm, garlicky naan. Our server, Jenny, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and she surprised us with a delicious rice pudding to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The combination of excellent food, thoughtful service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere made our experience truly memorable.
We were staying at hotel around the corner and went out for dinner here. It was convenient as we could walk after driving all day. The service was great and created authentic feel to the place. The location itself is low key but nice. The food was excellent. We enjoyed everything that we had including some Indian beer.
spent 11 hours in the car with my screaming cat, migraine in full swing as i checked into the hotel. quickly losing steam, starving, and in need of 11 hours of sleep, this was my chosen travel meal. chicken tikka masala and garlic basil naan. absolutely fantastic. the outside looks a bit sketch, but inside is warm and cheery and so cute and welcoming. there was a birthday party going on, family vibes in full swing. this itself revived me as i waited 2 minutes for the nice woman to pack my food. no picture because i devoured two servings and the third is in the fridge for breakfast tomorrow. if i wasnt just passing through, this spot would be on my top five rotation, my only regret is that i couldn’t stay and drink.
We found this in the back of the Quality Inn, Austintown near where we were staying while visiting Ohio. Absolutely amazing! We had the Butter Chicken, Lamb Biryani, Butter Naan and Samosas. We also ordered a Flying Horse Royal Lager. Everything was on point. The meats in the dishes were incredibly tender. The spices were also perfectly balanced in the dishes. Well worth coming out of your way to come here. We'll be back when we come back to Youngstown! Jenny was wonderful and her service was great! They have a bar here also for drinks!
Had an amazing experience at The Indian Restaurant & Bar – Nick da Dhaba! The food was absolutely authentic Punjabi style and full of flavor. The garlic naan was soft and perfectly roasted, the butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the Karahi chicken had just the right balance of spice and aroma. Every dish tasted freshly prepared and true to its roots. On top of that, the service was excellent – warm, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Punjabi food with great hospitality.
Great service! The two girls serving us were so sweet and attentive. Free appetizers right when you sit down (a flat cracker with assorted dipping sauce and side salad). Tandoori chicken was hot and fresh. Tikka masala was the perfect amount of spice and flavor. Great atmosphere and very clean. Huge menu selection. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to beginner or advanced level Indian cuisine fanatics 🥳 My full meal came to $42 for all dishes including a side order of Garlic naan ❤️
Thank you for today’s lunch and dinner. As truckers we don’t have many opportunities in finding healthy delicious food. Chill atmosphere, delicious food done right. I ordered a mild butter chicken with rice, garlic naan, and a mango lassi and it was all perfectly made. I couldn’t get enough. I highly recommend the restaurant. It’s behind the shell fuel station. We will be back!
Fantastic food, with some subtle and unique flavors that will take your favorite Indian dishes to the next level. Don’t let the quirky location confuse you, this restaurant is legit! The staff is exceptionally professional and welcoming, and I sincerely look forward to our next opportunity to stop by.
Fantastic food! The spice levels were just right. Medium spice actually has a little heat to it. Very fresh food and felt homemade. Best Indian I've had in a long time. Very excited they are open close by. Next time we will be eating in, as the restaurant's atmosphere look new and inviting.
Ordered delivery to my hotel and the food itself was excellent. Everything arrived hot, and I really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka. The only issue was with the online ordering experience. The website doesn’t include descriptions for the dishes, which made it hard to know what was included. For example, the Chicken Tikka comes with rice, but that wasn’t noted, so I ordered extra rice unnecessarily. The samosas are a two-piece order, which also wasn’t clear, so I ended up with more than expected. I ordered two naan and received four, and the cucumber salad was simply sliced cucumbers with no dressing, again without any description. This isn’t meant as a complaint about the food, which was very good, but the lack of basic descriptions led to ordering far more food than needed and wasting both money and food. Adding simple notes like “includes rice” or portion sizes on the website would make the ordering process much clearer and improve the overall experience.
