Muy elegante todo y el trato de los camareros fue extraordinario, siempre atentos y simpáticos. Toda la comida que salía tenía muy buena pinta y los platos que pedimos estaba muy buenos. Gracias por todo, repetiré y os recomendaré
Fui con mi pareja, y fue espectacular, desde un inicio un trato inmejorable. Por otro lado pedimos dos menús que incluían primero segundo y postre, aparte traía un buen pan y bebida incluida. No dudaremos en volver cuando nos pasemos otra vez por Ávila.
Espectacular!!!!! Desde el primer momento se siente la amabilidad y la buena atención de los camareros siempre pendientes de todo, el servicio es muy profesional y servicial, sin duda de 10. La comida muy buena, tanto por cantidad como especialmente por calidad, la ensalada de ahumados espectacular! Los pescados increíbles y los postres muy muy muy buenos!!! Sin duda volveré.
Comida muy buena,merece la pena el menú. Fuimos tres y compartimos tres menús... Los primeros buenísimos (patatas machaconas, lasaña de berenjenas y judiones). Los segundos lomo de curvo, solomillo y chuletón también muy ricos, Los postres una presentación espectacular, y muy buenos, pero un pelín por debajo del resto. Lo único malo es que es imposible reservar de un día para otro.
Un restaurante en una calle afuera de la zona turística más tranquila, pero qué buena sorpresa! La decoración es bastante sencilla, de buen gusto, y la distribución de las mesas está bien repartida para tener espacio y privacidad. La comida es muy rica y muy bien elaborada. Hemos comido pasta negra con trufa y navajas con garbanzos de primeros, después un solomillo de ternera y una lubina de segundos, para terminar con una espuma de mango con fresas. Todo fue muy sabroso. La relación precio-calidad es excelente, con porciones amplias. Recomendamos reservar con antelación que el lugar se rellena rápido. También mejor evitar las mesas en la entrada en otoño/invierno que la puerta de la entrada no cierra bien y hace bastante frío mientras uno come. El personal es muy agradable y cuida de los clientes muy bien. Repetiremos sin duda! Un lugar muy recomendable
Un sitio estupendo, la verdad. Fuimos porque era así el más conocido y no defraudó. El menú de 40 euros está genial (recomiendo 1 para dos, es mucha comida), aunque no sabemos si se puede pedir para compartir un menú. Nos dividieron la comida por cada plato para que lo pudiéramos probar bien. Todo estaba muy rico. Recomendamos la tostada de brioche con jamón y foie. Hemos probado mejores chuletones, pero tampoco defrauda.
Voy a empezar por lo malo: Ya está Ahora lo bueno, todos los entrantes bruutal las carnes increíbles, los postres muy ricos. La tarta de queso es un 10 y debo decir que las presentaciones son muy buenas y el trato inmejorable. Gracias! Volveré
Tuvimos suerte porque no teníamos reserva ( jueves noche ) y nos atendieron ,ya que es muy difícil sin reserva. La cena estuvo muy bien y el servicio y el trato del personal de 10. Recomendable.
Los mejores huevos rotos que he probado en mi vida, aunque la pasta negra y la carne de ciervo no se quedan atrás. Fama bien merecida con un servicio muy atento, agradable y eficiente. Lo recomiendo 100%.
Ubicación en centro de Ávila, muy cercado de parking y de casco histórico. Restaurante muy acogedor, moderno y muy bien cuidado. Es uno de los mejores restaurantes en los que he estado! Fuimos a comer y salimos super llenos pero muy muy contentos :) El menú de 40 € ofrece cantidad y calidad: la pasta negra con huevo azul y trufa es espectacular, los huevos rotos con gambones están perfectos y el solomillo es tierno y sabroso. El trato es cercano y profesional, y el ambiente cómodo. Todo merece la pena.

Hemos vuelto después de bastantes años porque teníamos muy buen recuerdo de este restaurante y no nos ha defraudado, servicio inmejorable, comida muy buena y con una presentación perfecta, ambiente estupendo, cuando volvamos de visita a Ávila repetiremos sin dudarlo. Por cierto si decides compartir el menú te lo traen ya preparado en platos independientes algo que es de agradecer. Las fotos son de las raciones ya divididas.
Un sitio espectacular. Nos lo recomendaron y fuimos con expectativas altas pero nos dejó más contentos aún. La papa revolcona rica. La tosta de foa un espectáculo. Y para acabar el chuletón otro nivel. El punto perfecto y de sabor increíble. La tarta de queso muy cremosa el centro y más dura la parte de arriba haciendo una textura perfecta. El vino buenísimo también. Y el servicio impecable e inmejorable. Muy muy contentos. Volveremos!
Una experiencia realmente buena, desde el servicio, el lugar y la comida, de 10. Escogimos el menú (42€), el cual incluye un entrante de la carta, un principal, un postre y una botella de vino por cada dos menús. De entrante cogimos los huevos rotos con gamón (para llorar), morcilla y dos de revolconas con torreznos, todos ellos buenísimos. De principal escogimos un entrecot, dos chuletones y el cochinillo laqueado, especialmente bueno el chuletón y el cochinillo, con piel crujiente, y una salsa muy buena, se deshacía. Y de postre pedimos tarta de queso, tiramisú y creps de chocolate, los cuales los dos últimos venían con una especie de “puesta en escena” bastante divertida. Repetiría y lo recomendaría 1000%.
Fuimos mi pareja y yo a comer el menú, estaba todo espectacular, pedimos ensalada de ahumados, la pasta negra, el atún, que sin duda fue lo mejor de la carta, y por último, el chuletón que no se quedaba atrás. Sin duda volveremos!! Lad cantidades eran demasiado grandes pero estaba todo buenísimo! Precio en total por los dos 83.2€
Cenamos de maravilla, Camareros muy atentos y profesionales. Raciones muy grandes, compartir los entrantes ya que los dividen en dos y aun así son enormes. Las carnes increíbles y el cocinero sabe darle bien el punto a cada tipo de carne. Eso si , reservar con varios meses de antelación. Volveremos !

I visited this restaurant in November, a time when many other establishments are closed. I noted that the few places that are open on a Tuesday often don't begin evening service until 20:30. I'm truly grateful I found this spot. The food was very good, and the portions were generous. The menu offers the usual Spanish fare but with a noticeably wider selection of fish options. The service was top-notch. I returned to my hotel a very happy and well-fed man, ready for my early train back to Madrid the next morning.
Walked in without a reservation and were greeted happily, given a without any fuss or time restriction. Recommend the selection of ham and cheese for starters. The food is excellent with generous portions. You can order individually or use the set menu as we did, which was a steal at €40 pp. Service was excellent. Ávila’s best kept secret?
We are so happy that we didn’t miss it. Without a reservation, they gave us 1.5 hrs which was enough. The portion was so generous that we only ordered two main courses and didn’t finish them. The staff who can speak English was very helpful, explaining each dish to us in great details. And the restaurant was so nice that they served one dish in two plates for us. We recommend it to tourists visiting Avila. Try the octopus. I loved it.
The best of the best. I love their desgustcion menu. It is a lot of food for sure but so worth having your stomach exploded because they have such a great food. Highly recommened for special ocasiones

I would give 10 stars if I could. We didnt have a reservation but they accomodated us despite being fully booked. There’s one waiter who speaks English and who helped us a lot to decide which food to get. The food and the service are wonderful.

If you are looking for great food quality, generous portions, great location and service. This is definitely the place you are looking for. We had dinner today there, the portions were so generous that we split the starters. I could not eat the desert, I took it home. We had lunch at a different restaurant and we were very disappointed es because we realized Bococo was a way better option. Our lunch was over-priced and the amount of food left us hungry. At Bococo we paid less for the same great quality but more generous portions. Definitely we are going to visit again! Amazing, recommended!
It would be no exaggeration to say the portions are HUGE by U.K. standards, but the quality does not reduce. The starters were the size of main dishes and my main dish (the chuleton) was enough for two. It’s been a long time since I’ve been defeated by a meal and not finished everything, but it happened here. We had the lunch menu; a starter, main, dessert, wine, bread for €38 each.for our starters we had morcilla and a mix of iberico meats. For a Mains a sirloin and Chuletón. The quality was excellent, and the wine pretty decent!

My friends and I had a group dinner in this amazing restaurant. We chose the 35€ menu which includes starter, main dish, desert and drinks. The food was delicious and the service unparalleled, especially if you compre it to other restaurants in Avila. A lot of options for seafood lovers. Highly recommended.

You will find great meat, very charming atmosphere and even better the service, you can appreciate how the staff does it professionally and enjoys the profession. Presentation was stunning. It’s not far from the tourist restaurants. Worth checking google maps to find by far. So happy we found this place instead of going to one of the lower quality, overpriced restaurants. Service was great, food was great, overall it was great.

Bococo es un restaurante muy recomendable en Ávila, de los que realmente merecen la visita. Los judiones estaban espectaculares, con un sabor intenso y una textura perfecta. Se nota claramente el buen producto y una elaboración cuidada, sin artificios. Probablemente lo mejor de la comida. La carne es de primer nivel, con muy buena materia prima y un punto impecable. Platos sencillos, bien ejecutados y centrados en el producto, como debe ser. Tienen una muy buena carta de vinos, bien seleccionada y con opciones interesantes para acompañar tanto los guisos como la carne. El local es moderno, amplio y con buena luz, algo que se agradece mucho, y el ambiente resulta cómodo y agradable. El servicio fue cercano y profesional, atentos en todo momento sin resultar invasivos. Sitio para repetir sin dudar cuando vuelva a Ávila.
Fuimos a comer y festejar una celebración del trabajo. Platos muy contundentes y con muy buena presentación. Bien preparados y con buen sabor. Elegimos el primer y segundo plato de manera individual, pero el postre era el mismo para todos y fue lo que estropeó el final de esa gran comida.
Bococo nos gustó mucho, los judiones de Ávila y su chorizo y panceta muy bien guisado. Luego la carrillera ibérica cocinada a fuego lento durante 8 horas estaba muy tierna y rica. Lástima el pulpo muy duro, la parte más gruesa era incómoda de masticar y la tuve que dejar. Pero es un mínimo fallo comparado con lo bien que se come y a precios muy correctos y baratos. Dejo fotos
We had an interesting meal at Bococo . Perhaps we should have listened more to other reviews regarding the huge portions of food and also the very “foody” nature of the menu (which is all in Spanish by the way). Don’t get me wrong, the food is exceptional and made with real care but this is way more than average Spanish fare and you need to be careful what you order unless you are an omnivore. The starters are served as shared plates so in effect you get 4 courses for the price of 3. My wife’s starter was asparagus, prawns and iced melon, which looked fine until the waiter flooded the plate with a milky liquid that completely covered everything - interesting to say the least but tasty nonetheless. Her hake was done with a Martini sauce which again was tasty but a bit over the top. My solomilo (sirloin) was asked for Medium but came so raw in the middle that I thought they had just walked the cow round a hot room before serving it. However, the meat itself was tender and full of flavour once re cooked. This is a long winded review for me but I just want readers, especially English folk, to understand what they are on for. All told it is a lovely restaurant with great attention to food detail but not quite the raving reviews of some others IMO.

It was ok. The portions are way too big and you’re stuck getting a full menu for 40€. The best was the dessert: the cheesecake and thin apple tart were to die for.
