Raquel was our server and she was GREAT! The food was AMAZING and TASTY. I had the seafood platter with garlic butter sauce and let me tell you…. Bussin! There was thyme in the seasoning! The spices were authentic and true to those with that picky Caribbean palate. We also ordered the goat head soup… (had to get another bowl to go)… we got the lamb chops and that sauce was ah-mazing! What item can top alllll of that, we got the waffles and jerk chicken for our appetizer… never will you EVER taste waffles like this in your life. The cost was budget friendly too. Highly recommended and I will be back SOON!

My daughter highly recommended Breezes so we ordered some appetizers a few nights ago. Crabcakes with pickled slaw, pepper shrimp, rice&peas and Plantains. Delicious! So we decided to stop in tonight for dinner. Crab cakes, pasta with Oxtails, potato salad and brown stew snapper. From the great presentation of each dish to the last bite, savory, well seasoned and cooked to perfection! Upscale twist on traditional Jamaican dishes. Loved the mix vegetables of broccoli, green beans and carrots with my scrumptious fish. Not the usual cooked cabbage and carrots. Beware.. the Rum Punch is definitely "Addictive!". We ordered Rum &Raisin Bread pudding for dessert and I had to fight folks off after a "taste". Will be back anytime I'm back in my hometown of NYC! And will spread the word to many others. Excellent service by everyone.

We went for a 12pm reservation on a Sunday, and although a little understaffed, the workers on hand stepped up to the challenge! Let me just say that the food was SUPERB and we have 3 very picky young adults!! Every dish that was put in front of us was DELICIOUS, and we had quite a few to select from. The peanut oatmeal porridge (which we had Never tasted prior) but were encouraged to try (even provided with samples), was GREAT! The vegetable potstickers were nice and crunchy on the outside and filled with delicious goodness, and loved the dipping sauce. Our absolute favorite food, was the ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings. We loved the authentic flavor of the ackee and saltfish and the dumplings were out of this world. They were HUGE and deliciously CRUSTY on the outside!! The same can be said about the festivals. We had never seen festivals so huge. They were Phenomenal! The boiled dumplings and bananas were good as well. Our kids couldn't get enough of the saltfish fritters! We also got 2 dinner entrees: Escovitched snapper and Curry goat. Our pickiest child ate ALL of her snapper and raved about it! We have recently been to Jamaica, the country, and I will tell you that the curry goat was AUTHENTIC. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and loved the heat off it. The portions of everything were GINORMOUS! All five of us were Well fed, and we had a ton of leftovers to take home! In our humble opinion, the food RIVALS The Door! We will MOST definitely be visiting this establishment again and would recommend it to ANYONE looking for a delicious meal

I was looking for a great shrimp and grits and this place has it! The drinks were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!!!! The irie pasta (Rasta pasta) was veryyy good as well! So happy to find a local spot that fulfills my needs!!! Trust me, you will enjoy!! And if you are dining in, ask for Raquel! She was so patient and provided great service! Trust me this place is PHENOMENAL!!!!

The Pumpkin Soup was delicious! I kept going until the bowl was empty. So much plump delicious shrimp in the pasta. A Mango Hennessy Margarita to top it off. Thank you for the excellent service Britt! 💜

This is a cozy place with delicious Jamaican food. The waitress is always pleasant and accommodating. Why not five stars - the food isn’t always served piping hot although it’s made to order; some items were warm.

Take out is excellent. The food is great. Dining in could use work. There was quite a wait before the food got to the table. My party of 4 did not get water for a while. But the food was excellent once it got to the table, with water and ordered beverages.

I tried the take out from Breezes twice and told my wife we should sit down since they did so much work to the place. It did not disappoint. The food was hot, tasty and fresh at a reasonable price. The food did come out a bit slow but I also do not like to feel rushed at a restaurant. The codfish fritters reminded me of my grandmother's fritters when I was a kid. First time we ordered takeout, the rice and peas was a bit mushy but that has been rectified. The pumpkin soup as a complimentary appetizer was a nice touch. Good place.

Our 2nd visit, we had to take someone to Queens on Sun so we visited Breezes. We had met Brittany a very nice beautiful server in June . She wasn't there this time. The goat meat, all of it was trashy but the rice & veggie was good. It's the nature of goat meat sometimes, so for once I didnt make a fuss as I would usually do. The atmosphere here is nice and the girls are nice, mannerable, respectful.

The food was delicious. The price was a bit expensive for happy hour and the wait time was ridiculously long. I sat myself and was ready to leave after waiting awhile to even given water or some acknowledgement. Would only do delivery moving forward.

DO NOT order the sticky wings!!!!! I swear it felt like they used real glue! The wings on the bottom were literally stuck to my plate and the waffles tasted like some sort of cookie with syrup. My chicken and waffle experience here was awful as I now should've gone with my first mind and orders the jerk chicken. My wife had the shrimp and loved it. If I ever go back, chicken and waffles isn't an option

From the outside looking in, the restaurant looks like it was closed. We literally had to go in and still wasn't sure whether we were able to go in, sit, and dine. Staff was not very welcoming until they realized that we looked lost. The food and drinks are exceptional 👌. Loved it. However, the ambience needs alot more work to invite patrons to sit and dine. Lightly covered decorated tables, and possibly some soft music in the background will do the trick.

The food wasn’t that good , everything was too spicy, we order cod fish flitters the manager told us she put in our order and we didn’t get that even when we sit waiting for an 1. The restaurant wasn’t that full and we wait 1 hour for our food and it was very cold. Mind u this was on Mother’s Day we order stuff and didn’t get them we get run around the drink we order was trash ! I wouldn’t recommend for dining only go to this restaurant when u doing take out.

I cant lie I’ve ordered from breezes before from uber and enjoyed my food the first time. I went in and did not have the same experience. The guy that took our order wasn’t attentive enough. We never got water. He also never came back to ask us if we wanted anything else to drink. Which wasn’t the hugest problem but that’s part of good service in my opinion. He also messed up our order twice. We asked for Hennessy wings and got Buffalo. I ordered the irie pasta and they asked how I wanted it, I told them jerk and it came out with a sweet mango sauce. When I expressed that this isn’t what I wanted they told me it’s mango jerk and that’s how they usually make it when you order with pasta and if you want it jerked you have to asked for it grilled ???? Then the chef came out to inform us that the man who took the order didn’t advise that I wanted it grilled…. Grilled or not I said i wanted jerk and wasn’t informed that it would be a mango jerk, They told me all they could do was take the sauce off the salmon which didn’t make sense cause the sauce is already all over the pasta. I ended up sending it back and not having anything. I think that they need to work a little better on communication and attentiveness.

If I could give no stars I would. Worst experience ever. You only get one time to make a first impression and i wasn't impressed. I went for mother's day brunch with my children. Our reservation was at 12:10. We got there maybe 12:15 and were seated right away. The restaurant wasnt crowded maybe 5 tables plus us. One table had 2, and rhe restaurant had 3-4 people per table. It was suppose to be bottomless rum punch...my daughter only got one cup/glass. I wanted one mimosa, I got that but then she brought out a "pitcher" of mimosas. I didnt want that bcz the mimosa was trash! They charged my son the brunch price which I thought was $40...he's a minor...doesn't drink, but yet they didn't bring out an extra drink for the adults at the table. So on the menu you could get shrimp and grits, oxtail rasta pasta and other brunch options. I wanted grits with oxtail and my daughter wanted shrimp with the rasta pasta. You would think a simple swap could be made, but I guess not and nobody came to tell us that. So we're waiting...they bring "complementary" pumpkin soup. I might as well been eating gazpacho. That ish was cold. Now ask me how the food was. I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE AT 1:20 WE WERE STILL WAITING FOR OUR FOOD! my son got his food *chicken/waffles*. When mine came i told them to wrap it up...no grits just regular ole rasta pasta. THEN, had to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring out my daughter food. The waitress was mid, like fake nice. Next day I go to eat the food and there were like 5 pieces of oxtail and it was so fatty. I feel sooo bad that my daughter had to pay for that crap. Like yall will never see any of us again. My mother's day brunch meal consisted of movie popcorn, nachos and hotdogs bcz we went to see Sinners after. Ugh 3 days later and I'm still LIVID.
