We hadn’t planned on stopping here on our way back to the desert but I am glad we did. The salmon sashimi was fresh and delicious. The miso soup was the best I’ve ever had.
What a pleasant surprise to see that my favorite sushi spot in Beaumont got a beautiful remodel inside. Super nice family owned restaurant serving great sushi rolls, appetizers, ramen, and teriyaki. Our favorite rolls are the Tiger Roll, Philadelphia roll, Hawaiian rolls, and Dynamite roll.
We found this little gem by mistake. After so many years living in Beaumont/Banning area and seeing this place I decided to finally walk in and give this place a try. This place is very small but very nicely decorated and has some really good Japanese food. Their sushi is always fresh and the ramen is delicious. What's better then all of this you ask? There prices used to be unbeatable. $10.99 will get you a large bowl of ramen and a California roll. (Update) Due to inflation since I first reviewed tis place in 2018 the Ramen combo is now $18.95 in 2025. I think I have found my new favorite sushi place in the Beaumont/Banning area. In a way I didnt want to give this place such good reviews because I didnt want it to get overly crowded for such a small place but I had to recommend it to everyone.
First time here and we really enjoyed the rolls here. I like their roll special 2 for $14.95. We chose their spicy rolls and our boy got the chicken teriyaki bowl. You can't dine in right now so plan on take-out.
Delicious food and service. My only complaint is that they don't take phone orders. It's walk-in only.
Really tasty, but why does it say temporarily closed? I have the spicy tuna roll and this miso soup and it hit my soul. BEST MISO SOUP I have ever tasted and that’s saying a lot. good prices and quality food make you want to come again and again.
Foods are great! The roll size is bigger than normal but we love it. Reasonable price and fast.

A delightful experience. We ordered ramen, sushi rolls, tofu soup, jalapeños filled with spicy tuna, and, for a drink, Jasmin tea. They give us plenty of delicious water without the unpleasant taste. Everything tastes like heaven. The place is also in mint condition, clean and modern stille decorated. Even the restroom is super clean with high-end tile work. Angelina is a great person, servicial, charismatic, with royal manners. We are definitely counting the days to return and have brought some friends to a great place. Thank you for doing your work with such great passion. We appreciate and enjoy every bite and sip.
I am a huge Ramen connoissuer !! I've had their ramen now 6 different times. To me its good. But lacks a lot of flavor for the price. The meat just lacks something. Not sure. It's good ramen...just not great. If the price was about 7$ less I would say it's worth it. The takoyaki was really good in my opinion.
First time here after living in the area for 6 years. Wish I had come by sooner. Food was great. Service was timely and friendly.
Whenever I’m craving sushi or ramen, I drive an hour and 15 minutes to this place. I love everything I’ve tried there so far. One of the employees who has been working there for many years — I don’t know her name, but she’s a lovely petite Japanese woman — is absolutely wonderful. She always provides excellent service.

Fantastic service and remodel. Great food for a great price, like truly. We go in and get 3 rolls and a ramen bowl for only 40 bucks. Absolutely worth it, in every aspect. The rolls are absolutely massive too, which makes it even better. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves sushi
They have a good deal where you get 2 rolls for $19 but the selection is a little limited compared to other sushi places that have a similar deal. Simple, clean, and open atmosphere which is an upgrade from what it was before. They could definitely use some help with the customer service aspect, the asian lady is rude and never smiles. I've been here a few times now and every time it seems like she's having a bad day. The other girls that work there are great have way better customer service, they should train her on how to smile once in a while.
Gabriel was a superb server, considering a room 7 - 8 full tables, which he handled mostly by himself. The in restaurant experience is tough to handle. There’s no air conditioning, no booths, and heat bearing down the glass wall and entrance. Only our toddlers got plastic forks, so we only could use our disposable chopsticks as utensils. Plus side, we were given ice cold metal cups to drink water. We will return, if only for a pick up dinner to eat at home. The sushi roll portions are generous, and the menu is simple and varied. I thank Gabriel for being as diligent as he could, because he could use a little more help serving customers.
The spicy grilled salmon is a amazing it is just so good , haven’t ate good sushi for a while. The vegetable ramen is fine , it was lacking flavor, maybe cuz the broth and the noodles separated? It is a good idea tho cuz it’s only to go orders due COVID-19 , but the noodles don’t suck the broth so you can’t really taste flavors .
value for money Japanese food combo available here. worth the time to drop in if around for a quick meal. carpark lots a plenty. dining area small with simple furnishing, just go for the value.

Was a little slow but could be a lack of chefs on shift during my visit. Had BBQ pork ramen and I would give it a 7/10 for American Ramen. When compared to Ramen in Japan it's a 3/10. Is it worth it? I'd say yes, I enjoyed it. Would eat again. Dining area is small. 5 full booths, 2 half booths and 3 tables with chairs.
The atmosphere couldn’t be beat, service was friendly and nice. The server Emma was very kind to my girlfriend as I was in the bathroom. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. My only problem was that the food took a long time to make and was good but not amazing, but for the price it was good. Come here if you want a nice experience but if you want the best sushi I would recommend going somewhere else

The new look is bright and clean. They definitely needed more seating. We walked out before because all the tables were taken. Same great food, fresh, tasty, and prepared perfectly. The new server was ok, not the usual girl. Food was up fast even during dinner. Still fantastic for Banning.

On our journey to Joshua Tree, we made a pit stop to satisfy our ramen cravings. Opting for one beef ramen, one chicken ramen, and Takoyaki, we were pleased to find the prices quite reasonable – I'd even go as far as saying they were really cheap. While the soups were okay, considering the affordability, they met expectations. However, the noodle texture left me a bit puzzled; it was challenging to discern if I was consuming spaghetti in soup or noodles resembling pasta. Overall, the cafe is decent, offering a satisfactory experience for a one-time visit, particularly for those seeking budget-friendly options.
I wouldn’t recommend dining in to eat here because to go orders seem to get more of the attention than the dine ins. I do however recommend ordering to go because the food is delicious and still tastes fresh by the time you get home. Drinks here are out of a can or bottle so no fountain drinks. I give it some time before I’ll actually dine in but for now I really love the food and recommend ordering food to go.

It’s good. I got chicken ramen and a California roll. Sadly I noticed 2 hairs in my ramen and that really disgusted me (Not pictured) and when I walked in I wasn’t greeted, but 2 white men were lol. It’s good food but I just feel like I could find another place with better customer service and no hair in my food.
