The best callos I've had in Barcelona! And the vermouth? Oomph! The steak is a great value too. But what truly makes this place stand out is its wonderfully local atmosphere. This is definitely going to be one of my go-to tapas spots. Kudos to Bernardo and his team!! 😀

Croquettes were very tasty. The meat dish was also delicious. Paella was a little burnt and salty but was still eatable. No complaints! The server was friendly and was explaining all our queries with a willingness.

I was looking for a Catalan Sunday brunch and so when i found out that Bo de Bernat is Filipino owned, i told myself that i have to check it out. I went there for a Sunday brunch. After the fried eggs with ham, a very generous serving of callos con chorizo (for 6euros only!!!) followed. Tripes were super tender, sauce was a teeny teeny tiny bit salty to my liking but it was nonetheless delicious. Their crema catalan was not intoxicatingly sweet. It was just perfect! 👍👍 The resto was 3/4 full. 95 percent of the clients were locals. I even heard one Spanish client saying "salamat" to one of the staff and a bit of a convo in Spanish when he was leaving. Restaurant is clean and toilet was very well kept 👌 Apart from the super pocket-friendly prices, i will always be reminded of how their staff made me feel so welcomed (esp. after being snobbed by a Pinoy at El Quim de Boqueria!). A spécial thanks to Ms. Analisa who will be one of the very reasons why i will come back to Bo de Bernat. Ive started to spread the word to my circle. More power and hasta pronto!

A hidden gem in the Urgell area. Traditional catalan restaurant, nothing fancy to look at but excellent food! Their sepia or cuttlefish croquettes are super. This time I had to share with a friend but next time all four are mine! We also had cod croquettes, eggplant with honey (very tasty but yes fried stuff), paella marisco and cod fish in sauce. Pulo a la gallega was also perfectly cooked, not chewy at all. Everything tasted quite good. The staff are all nice and attentive. They mostly speak spanish and maybe some broken english. Forgot to take photos this time as we were busy eating and chatting. I will definitely come back for my own plate of sepia croquettes.

This restaurant served us one of the most sumptuous and value-for-money meals we’ve had Barcelona. We enjoyed the rich but not too overwhelming flavors of fideua de marisco, and the juicy cuts of chuleton madurada. We paired our meal with a bottle of el coto crianza which was a tasty red wine. To finish the meal, we had a serving of mato. The restaurant is cozy, with provisions for both indoor or outdoor dining. The owners were also very gracious and accommodating. Definitely a good place to have a meal in Barcelona. Reserving through their website is recommended as the restaurant gets full easily.

Prices very affordable compared to the rest and good service Got some croquettes and an omelette and the paella Crunchy croquettes, although the inside was a bit too mushy for my taste but I enjoyed it regardless The omelette was different to the American style and I quite like the unique flavor. Felt like the eggs tasted better with a different type of seasoning. Paella was a bit too salty, I didn't particularly enjoy it but probably a palate difference.

Sin embargo, la atención sigue siendo buena. 📍Ubicación y Establecimiento: Situado en Sant Antoni, Bo de Bernat se encuentra en una excelente ubicación. El local es pequeño y acogedor, aunque no exactamente mi estilo. Desayuno . Pedimos cap i pota y caracoles. La cap i pota espectacular, diría la mejor que he probado nunca junto con la del bar Gélida. Los caracoles bastante flojos. Insípidos y salsa muy aguada. En mesas de al lado vi una tortilla de calçots , unas sardinas a la plancha y una falta que se me iban los ojos. Volveré sefuro

He probado el codillo y el fricando. Realmente no me pareció nada el otro mundo. El fricandó estaba correcto y el codillo la verdad que dejaba un poco que desear. Precio relativamente correcto, y el servicio realmente deja un poco que desear.

Comida de estilo Catalana cocinada por una familia de Filipinos que dirigen el local. Los platos que probamos nosotros estaban bastante bien cocinados y acompañados de pan para poder mojar la salsa. Comida abundante y muy buena relación calidad-precio, y más teniendo en cuenta la ubicación del local. Como punto negativo destacar que es un local pequeño y con muchas mesas muy juntas (supongo que necesitan volumen para poder compensar los bajos precios). A pesar de este punto negativo lo recomiendo como buena opción relación calidad-precio. ¡Volveremos seguro!

Comida catalana con sabor y buenos precios, lástima que el servicio (camarera que tomó nota) sea arisco, enfadado y déspota. Es un lugar donde una mesa de muchos comensales no les gusta, quedó muy claro. No pidais el chuleton, la carne está buena, pero ni es chuletón ni madurado, ni rastro de la grasa ni del hueso...por algo será. Aún así volveré con menos comensales a probar otros platos que me quedaron en el tintero. Recomendable para platillos/tapas.

Bo de Bernat es de los mejores restaurantes de San Antoni, tiene todo lo que necesitas para comer feliz de la vida. Calidad precio excelente cosas que verdaderamente están desapareciendo. Buenos vinos buena Cava (aunque a veces no tan fría como quisiera!) Un lugar familiar sin lujos altamente recomendable.

Good tapas at very affordable prices, and very cool inside - probably has AC. I ordered the gazpacho and cod croquettes with a glass of sangria, which were all very good. Service was solid. Would recommend if you're in the area and need a place to hang out with drinks and snacks.

Visited by random search nearby our stay . Recommend pig head to tail , so tender and tasty . Ox tail with rice is €10 only very rich taste but just slightly too salty . Fries with jam on and eggs is my daughter’s favourite . Very crispy and delicious.we spend €38 including two wines . Great deal !

Fun little local gem of a restaurant. We walked in at 5pm hungry after a long train ride and there were lots of tables available. We tried the salad (lots of old leaves that we couldn’t eat), deep fried squids which were delicious, oxtail was nicely cooked down fall off the bone texture that i like, seafood paella was good (but not stellar). Only dish we didn’t like was the beef cheeks were a bit bland. My sangria was really strong but not sweet enough. Overall a satisfying meal at a value price

Auténtica Casa de Comidas, como no podía ser de otra manera habiendo tenido como escuela el mítico Gelida, el matrimonio que lo regenta trabajaron allí durante varios años. Multitud de platos todos caseros y con presencia importante de platos típicos catalanes. El personal es muy amable y efectivo, siempre con una sonrisa. Buena relación calidad precio en platos, algo elevados en bebidas. Lástima de la falta de luz natural en el interior, aunque es amplio y bien decorado. Volveré!

Fuimos recomendados por unos amigos a ver qué tal y la verdad que la experiencia fue todo lo contrario, el servicio del personal no es nada amable, nos ubicaron en una mesa que estaba toda sucia llena de comida y el tío la limpió de malas ganas y quedó aún quedó sucia, pedimos varios platos para compartir y conocer ya que no conocemos mucho de la gastronomía catalana, las porciones son bastante pequeña relativo al precio, preferiría pagar un poco más pero que sea una porción presentable, lo mejor fueron las croquetas y un rodillo en salsa que estuvo muy rico, un bistec a la plancha estuvo muy seco y parecía una hoja, las patatas fritas sí que nada que ver fritadas con aceite viejo se sentía, los postres ( tiramisú y un flan de coco) también estuvieron muy rico. La verdad no volvería a ir por nuestra experiencia a pesar de que estaba full de gente esperando mesa, prestar un buen servicio y una atención amable hacia los clientes no cuesta nada, tomen esto como una crítica constructiva y de mejorar su negocio.

En mi anterior reseña elogié este lugar, era la primera vez que iba. Me gustó la comida y todo en general, pero hoy he repetido con mi familia, y me ha decepcionado. La cocina depende de lo que pidas, hay cosas muy bien cocinadas y otras que dejan que desear. Las raciones muy justas, me han servido una sabrosa ensaladilla como primer plato, pero no era más que una tapa escasa. Un pie de cerdo con caracoles bien cocinado pero escasísimo, la cantidad de caracoles bien, pero demasiado enteros. El rebozo de los sesos, mal. Y así podríamos seguir... El camarero desbordado, servía un plato y el resto se quedaba mirando (éramos cuatro) comimos por turnos y las bebidas (excepto una copa de vino) llegaron a medio plato. El precio alto, para lo que se recibe. Me sabe mal, porque el primer día nos encantó, pero me parece justo informar tanto de lo bueno como de lo malo. Son amables, eso sí.

No lo recomiendo: los calamares a la romana eran literalmente 7 calamares por 8,50€, yo comí carne con salsa y setas (no había setas), la salsa de las galtas y del codillo era pura salsa barbacoa. Iba pensando que comería casero y saciante y me fui con una gran desilusión…

Sinceramente no lo recomendaría. Las croquetas que pedimos me gustaron pero tenían un sabor bastante grasiento. Las berenjenas rebozadas no me gustaron. Aunque la ensaladilla rusa no me disgustó. Pero pedí un arroz meloso y estaba bastante pasado. Además nos cobraron 12€ demás por unos calamares que ni siquiera pedimos pero al ser un grupo grande no nos dimos cuenta hasta tarde. Aunque he de decir que nos atendieron bien.

I don't understand the hype. I guess it's nice because the food is cheap. Don't think it's all that authentic. Thought the food was below average to average. Oxtail Croquettes: Detected no sign of meat in this dish. Just salty nothing. Beef Cheeks: I actually enjoyed this meal. Asked for the boiled potato instead of fries. Received both and was charged for both. Was still hungry after this dish and ordered the Roast Loin of Pork. It of course came with fries. The meat was super tough and drowned in the salty mess of a sauce. Onion, tomatoes, herbs and spices? Not detectable. Just salt. Also ordered bread to have with this dish, but sent it back because it was hard as a rock and not edible. Was charged for this as well. Tips: Please have clear drinks and dessert menus so that patrons can make informed decisions. Would either 1) skip the starters or 2) Don't order the Croquettes - they are not good. After a disappointing meal, I received my bill and asked for the bread and boiled potato to be removed. The lady did this and came back with a higher total (the cost of my Sangria magically increased), which was infuriating. Management took care of it, so add a star for that. The food and service here was disappointing. Will not be back. Do yourself a favor, pay more and eat somewhere else or go eat a kabob. This place isn't it.

El sabado antes de Reyes me persono en el restaurante y reservo para el dia de Reyes mesa para las 14,30 h para 8 personas. El mismo dia de Reyes voy al restaurante para confirmar la reserva y me indican que esta todo ok sin problema. Pues a las 13 h me llaman y me dicen que tenia reserva para las 12,30 h?????? Y me dicen que no lo pueden arreglar porque es culpa mia. Pueden entender el problema que se me presento 8 personas sin restaurante. Al final pude solucionarlo, pero aseguro que no me van a ver mas.

La comida está muy buena, pero el servicio es HORRIBLE. Parece que te perdonen la vida. Se olvidan de lo que les pedí, me vienen TRES veces a preguntar que me falta, y a la cuarta vez me dicen que no es verdad que habia pedido. Tal y como están las cosas, deberían de cuidar un poco más a la clientela, que es quien les da de comer. No volveré, una lástima.

Awful crowded place (doubtful that they comply with the regulations), chaotic service and stressful service, most of the clients are GenZ who acts pretentious, but want cheap food. But quality has a price, and you won't find it here. Also it's not authentic Catalan cuisine, it's a bad copy.
