Great experience. The pinchos were really tasty, and there's a good variety. The staff occasionally come round with hot ones as well. We had to stand because it was busy, but a waitress brought a stool for our 8-year old daughter, which was nice. Each pincho is €.2.8, which isn't a lot unless you have 25 like we did :))) Definitely worth a visit for a more authentic Spanish dining experience.

This is one of the best places in Barcelona to enjoy and experience tapas. It's partly self-service, allowing you to choose your favorite from the menu. When fresh tapas are available, the waiters bring them to you and ask for their order. The wines are also excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the place and the flavors. It's a place we'll definitely visit again. When you leave, you can walk up to the cash register with your trash to pay. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious food.

Euskal Etxea – Casual Basque Bites & Great Vibes 🇪🇸🍢🥂 We walked into Euskal Etxea on a Friday afternoon and were happy to get a table outside since we were with our dog 🐶. Luckily, the outdoor seating was pleasant, and we were made to feel welcome right away. The pintxos were all fantastic—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. We paired them with some nice cava, which made for a perfect midday treat. The service was friendly and efficient, and the whole experience felt laid-back but thoughtful. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for casual Basque food in a relaxed setting. A great little place to pop in, enjoy some drinks, bites, and people-watch on a sunny day. Will definitely return! 🍷🍢🌞

Euskal Etxea I think translates to “Basque House”. This space is a half bar, half social hub - classic tavern meets casual bar, serving delicious picar - this place had a buzz and I enjoyed my time here. You grab a plate and join the line and help yourself to the toothpick-counted picar. It’s a vibrant but relaxed vibe, we grabbed a drink and some picar and stood at the back of the bar area and enjoyed what we tried. I’m told they change the picars based on what they have and what is in season and are one of the good places to come because they change them over regularly so they aren’t sitting out all day. There was a good mix of meats, seafood, cheese and vego options. This place seems focused on quality and fostering Euskadi–Catalunya cultural celebration through their food and the restaurant. I was only learning about these things on this visit, so am by no means an expert - but based on the recommendation and my experience I hope this is right. Service is relaxed and efficient, it was one of the many times I wish I wasn’t reduced to smiling and pointing on this trip to Barcelona. If you’ve been disappointed by other pintxos or tapas offerings elsewhere, head here, it was the benchmark for me on this trip and I enjoyed it. There is honesty in the whole experience, including the food. A trust in the food and in the reliance on the counting of toothpicks to know what you’ve had, while eating and drinking in a friendly and slightly hectic environment. This place feels like the kind of place locals know to come, and is exactly where you should head if you want to leave the tourist traps behind and eat some simple, honest, delicious food.

This was the very first place where I experienced tapas culture, and I couldn’t have chosen a better spot. It quickly became the benchmark for the best tapas I had in Barcelona. My choices? Patatas bravas, tomato bread, and a cheese platter—a trio so perfect that, combined with Barcelona’s vibrant atmosphere, it felt like pure bliss. The patatas bravas here were hands down the best I had in the city, with their homemade mayonnaise adding an incredible touch. The restaurant itself was elegant, clean, and welcoming. The staff were attentive, and whether you're visiting solo or with a group, this is the kind of place you leave feeling genuinely happy. Here is tapas restaurant so they have a lots of amazing tapas options. each one is 2.6 euros, also you should to order Spanish wine with your tapas. Such an amazing Pincho place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I ended up eating quite a lot! It's 2.1 euros per toothpick and loved it that they kept bringing out new stuff at about 10pm, so had quite a number of freshly made ones which were still hot.

Éramos tres y de entrada nos toco en la barra, pero nos avisaron en cuanto hubo una mesa libre. Me pareció una taberna con un buen ambiente, el personal muy amable y cercano. Podía ir ha escoger las tapas en la barra, eran fríos y había bastante variedad y a la vez iban ofreciendo otros de tipo caliente. El precio por pincho es de 2,50€, personalmente me encanto el de queso de cabra rebozado con mermelada.

Típica bodega con aires renovados para tomarte algo con los amigos mientas disfrutas de la variedad de pinchos que tienen. Todos valen lo mismo. Es autoservicio excepto la bebida y pagas según los palillos que tengas en el plato. De ti depende ser honesto, ellos se fían de la buena fe del comensal. Me gustó el sitio, si pasamos por la zona puede que repitamos.

La comida excelente, buena variedad de tapas y sabores exquisitos. A mi amigue que ni siquiera ve! Le encantaron así que por la pinta no será! Se va a México con una linda experiencia. El servicio amable pero podría ser más eficiente. El ambiente acogedor, pero un poco ruidoso. Todo lo demás muy bien.

Gran variedad de pintxos, tanto frios como calientes. Como recomendación esperad a que vayan sacando los pintxos calientes de cocina porque para mi gusto son los mejores. El ganador para mi fue el de hamburguesa, estaba en el punto perfecto. Nos gastamos bastante porque tienes que comer bastante para llenarte y mientras vas esperando vas consumiendo bebida a 3 euros… pero por el resto nos gustó bastante.

Gran atención y excelente predisposición para resolver mi pedido de pintxos sin gluten. Me los trajeron directamente desde la cocina a la mesa, con mucho cuidado. Mis recomendaciones: el pintxo de tortilla, el de jamón ibérico y el de cangrejo con huevo (aunque no recuerdo los nombres exactos de cada uno) - ver foto

Un buen descubrimiento en el borne. Íbamos callejeando, buscando un sitio donde cenar y nos llamó la atención este lugar. Un sitio perfecto para picotear o incluso cenar. En la barra hay una gran variedad de tapas frías (cada pincho a 2,30€) y mientras vas picoteando van sacando y ofreciéndote tapas calientes. Tienes que ir guardando los palillos para que al final ellos hagan el reencuentro y puedan cobrarte. La única pega fue que tuvimos que picotear de pie por falta de sitio y asientos; una experiencia diferente.

Le pongo 4* por que reservamos mesa para ir a cenar de tapas/pinchos, y cuando llegamos nos dijeron que únicamente podíamos pedir de carta. Aún así la comida es de calidad, el personal amable y el sitio con bastante espacio y aforo limitado. Lo que sobresale son los postres. Recomiendo encarecidamente probarlos todos.

Fuimos a cenar con unas amigas. Nos atendieron sin cita previa y enseguida pudimos entrar para empezar a cenar en barra. Era un poco Justo el espacio ya que estábamos en la zona de salida de bebidas, pero en cuanto se liberó una mesa, nos lo comunicaron para poder movernos. Tiene tapas muy variadas y ricas, otras que son calientes y van llegando según se preparan. El personal es muy profesión y cercano. Es muy buen lugar para comer tapas. El precio de las tapas en 2.50€ excepto algún que tiene un coste superior.

Es el típico lugar de pinchos. No tiene nada memorable. Algo que me hace pensar mucho de visitar estos sitios es que no tienen nada novedoso, deberían actualizarse nuevas tapas , menos queso en todo, otro tipo de pan, cambiar por lo menos 2 o tres tapas cada mes. Sería interesante, pues ir a comer ahí no es una experiencia novedosa .. las personas van por lo “ rápido” creo que habría que adaptarse a los nuevos tiempos sin perder la esencia sin dejar de ser una taberna vasca … pero atrayendo mas público …

Euskal Etxea has a really wide variety of tapas. Since we don’t eat pork, we tried the cheese and seafood options. They charge around €3 per skewer, which I think is a bit pricey. The place is conveniently located near El Born, so it’s perfect for a quick bite while exploring the area. Still, the flavors were good and it’s a nice spot if you want to try different tapas.

Es un magnífico lugar para comer pinchos. Lamentablemente la reserva que hice fue un fallo a pesar que la comida estaba muy buena. Queríamos comer pinchos en la mesa y resulta que me comunican que no se puede. Al no saberlo me defraudó un poco. Ya que era la primera vez que iba. Y tuvimos que comer carta, el camarero muy amable la verdad y que las recomendaciones fueron buenas. Intentaré volver otro día.

Lugar de pinchos típico vasco, no tiene gran variedad. El sitio está muy bien y el Ambiente, el personal muy amable. No tiene buen la relación precio calidad. No volvería por la comida, solo lo haría por que el sitio donde está a muy bonito, y para tomar una copa de vino o cerveza va muy bien.
