Fui a Imperio Brunch y la experiencia fue espectacular. Pedí el chakchouka y los syrniki, y ambos platos estaban increíbles: llenos de sabor, muy bien presentados y con una calidad que se nota en cada bocado. El ambiente del local es acogedor y el servicio de Garik fue muy amable y atento. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveré (2nda vez aquí). ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Un lugar magnífico. Interior acogedor y personal amable. Y la cocina… simplemente una maravilla. Increíbles los huevos poché con salmón y los sirniki. ¡Sirniki auténticos de requesón! La dueña, Dina, es muy cordial y contó que ellos mismos preparan la repostería y las tartas. Ahora es uno de mis lugares favoritos en Barcelona. Y, por cierto, la Sagrada Familia está literalmente a la vuelta de la esquina, ¡en todo su esplendor!

A lovely place. Even not knowing Spanish, I was able to order food, the service was on top level with everyone being extremely kind and attentive. I was greated by Zina, she was really friendly and helpful. Despite the fact I'm not a fan of seafood, I've decided to try out seafood paella as it's my first day in Spain. And I was pleasantly impressed, it was truly delicious.

Food amazing 😍 We ordered chicken paella 🥘 and beef blinni. Both dishes very nice taste. Zina service is incredible 😸 She is so cute person. We felt there like in home, visiting aunt. She were joking with us and making good atmosphere. We recommend this place 5/5. It's not far from Sagrada Familia but little hidden so far from tourists rush. Love it 💕

Tried this place for the first time. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Zena. None of us were very good at speaking Spanish, but she was able to communicate with us and was super friendly and welcoming. She directed us to good dishes, and all our food was absolutely amazing. Zena Was very attentive, accommodating , and very upbeat. By the end of the meal, we all felt like we had made a new friend in Zena. She made our trip to Barcelona more special. We will always remember her and the wonderful food at this restaurant.

We absolutely loved our meal at Imperio Brunch! We had the avocado toast and shakshuka. Both were some of the best we've ever had and the portions were great. We loved chatting with Zina who was friendly and kind. The service was excellent. We will be sure to visit again the next time we are in Barcelona!

We ordered garlic mushrooms and paella with scallops and squids. Both are very very good. It is perfect if you like seafood but tired of too much shrimps and lobsters. Very cosy space and perfect hospitality by Ms. Zina.

Imperio Café is has good quality food and cafe and a good ambience:). It is spacious and comfortable. I had a great saludable desayuno! But the best of the Café is the very attentive and friendly personal Garik, Paola and y Esther were the highlight of my stay there! Will come often from now on 😊🙏🏾🙏🏾

I was craving for a simple carbonara and stumbled upon this cafe. It was cheesy and creamy (in the non-traditional way). And it came in a decent portion that was filling for the price. Commendable energy and positivity from Garik and whose ability to switch to several languages leaves one feeling much welcomed.

This is a tourist trap. We came here after visiting Sagrada Família, attracted by the thousands of positive reviews — it seemed like a reliable choice. However, after looking closer, we found that most of those reviews belong to the previous establishment, Imperio Forn de Pa Pastisseria, which had been a coffee and pastry shop for about ten years. The current restaurant is completely different, yet benefits unfairly from those old ratings. As for the food, the paella was disastrous — bland, with a scallop so tiny it was almost symbolic. It tasted as though it had come from a Carrefour pack and been reheated in a pan. The seafood soup was identical to a can of M&S Lobster Bisque, served with an absurd amount of croutons. The chicken wings were no better, tasting like they had simply been reheated from frozen. I am not a Spaniard, but it was obvious this level of food is not aimed at locals. In terms of service, the waiter was polite and appeared friendly, but his eagerness to offer taking group photos felt awkward. Usually, guests take photos when the food or atmosphere truly impresses them. Overall, this place seems to be trying to evolve from a café into a restaurant, but it still has a long way to go in quality, authenticity, and honesty before earning the reputation its inherited reviews suggest.
