Visita obligada en Múnich, ya no solo para comer o cenar, sino como propio punto de interés turístico dada su historia. Local espectacular con techos abovedados y frescos pintados al más puro estilo de las carpas del Oktoberfest. Si tienes suerte, también tocan música tradicional en vivo. Comida típica bávara, si bien algo cara, las raciones son muy abundantes. Gran variedad de cervezas y tamaños grandes. Los postres también están muy ricos: recomiendo probar el Kaiserschmarrn.

We visited Hofbräuhaus München to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It showed up as the top brewery on Google, and even though it was packed, we managed to get a table for five. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, with live music and a classic brewery vibe. We tried the Hofbräuhaus Original beer, easily one of the best we had till date. The food was equally good. We ordered a mix of vegetarian dishes along with Wiener schnitzel, Salzkartoffeln, Kartoffelklöße, grilled ravioli, and potato au gratin. Everything tasted great, and the service stood out as well. Overall, a memorable experience and well worth the visit.

This is one of those touristy places that are worth it. There are 2 kinds of experience here. 1. If you like the crowd and more of an Oktoberfest feel, you can walk into the ground floor of the restaurant, and find a place to sit and eat. This part of it is the traditional area, there is live music and it is very crowded. I’ve sat here before and if you’re in the mood for more of a party and meeting strangers it can be fun. The service will be a bit slower here and it may be uncomfortable for some. They do not accept reservations for this area. 2. If you like more of a quieter scene and are coming more for just the food, rather than partying and live music, then there’s the top floor. Here you can make a reservation online and come in without any wait. The space is more quiet and there is no live music. Service is a lot faster and you can enjoy your dinner in a more calm environment. Both experiences are great, depending on your mood that day. The food is good and the beer is great!

Perhaps it is my favorite restaurant in Europe due to the atmosphere and the service. The waiters are responsive and incredible, the relationship between quality and price is very good. We ordered meatloaf and Schnitzel. You could have lunch or dinner for €30 in May/June 2025. The bear is great as well. A place full of history.

We had a great time here. The food was amazing. The waiter (the bald gentleman — sorry, I don’t know your name) was extremely kind and even spoke some Turkish with us, which made the experience even nicer. The atmosphere is historic and full of character. It was a bit noisy, but that’s completely normal for a place like this. Definitely recommended.

The food is good and the music makes the whole experience a great vacation memory. It’s usually very crowded but if you’re patient, you’ll be able to find a seat at a table. We really enjoyed our time at the Hofbräuhaus München, as I always wanted to go here. Not only it's one of the oldest beer halls in the city, but a great spot to experience the vibe of Bavaria. The location itself it's huge, with ample seating and in close proximity of Marienplatz. We visited on a Friday night so the place was packed and the the atmosphere was that of an ongoing party, both with locals and tourists. You have to fight for a table but we managed to find some seats pretty quickly. Be prepared to share your table with others. The menu is filled with plenty of beer choices and I did enjoy my large pint after a busy day of traveling. Food wise, a variety of Bavarian dishes and other meat products await you and the prices are pretty decent. The serving was rather fast, despite being busy. The staff really does some exercise running from one table to another. Highly recommend going here to experience a true Bavarian beer house. Live Bavarian music is always a joy to hear.

I really enjoyed this place. It’s completely informal — almost like a lively, traditional Bavarian beer hall. The Bavarian sausages were delicious, and I loved the atmosphere. I’m not usually a big beer drinker, but the vibe here makes you want to keep drinking beer and eating sausages. It’s a fun, authentic and unforgettable experience. A small tip for visitors: you need to find free seats on your own — that’s how it works here. The menus are already placed on the tables, so once you find your seats, you can look through the menu and then order directly from the waiter.

Visitar el Hofbräuhaus de Múnich es una experiencia imprescindible si uno quiere sumergirse en la esencia bávara. El lugar es inmenso, siempre animado y bullicioso, con un ambiente que mezcla tanto lo turístico como lo tradicional. La decoración es impresionante: techos pintados con frescos coloridos, largas mesas de madera compartidas y música en vivo con bandas tocando en directo, que crean una atmósfera auténticamente festiva. El ruido es parte del encanto: conversaciones, brindis, música y el tintinear de las jarras forman parte del espíritu de la casa. La comida es muy típica y contundente: el codillo con su piel crujiente y salsa es espectacular, acompañado de la clásica bola de patata, y el currywurst con patatas fritas es otro de los platos icónicos. Todo servido rápidamente, incluso a pesar del gran volumen de clientes. La cerveza, por supuesto, es la gran protagonista, servida en enormes jarras y de excelente calidad. Aunque es un lugar muy turístico, merece totalmente la visita: no solo por la gastronomía y la cerveza, sino también por la historia, el folclore y el ambiente único que lo convierten en un sitio legendario de Múnich.

El Hofbräuhaus es un icónico salón cervecero de Múnich que combina historia, tradición bávara y ambiente festivo. Ofrece cervezas artesanales servidas en jarras grandes, música tradicional en vivo y platos típicos como salchichas, codillo y pretzels. La verdad lo recomiendo por la experiencia pero puedes encontrar mejores lugares en el tema de la gastronomía y a mejor precio. El servicio suele ser rápido y directo, acorde con el estilo de una cervecería popular, y el ambiente es tan social que es normal terminar compartiendo mesa y conversación con personas de todo el mundo.

Comida tradicional alemana, en todos los aspectos. Buen servicio, mucha gente por lo que va lento pero fluido!! La camarera también habla inglés, lo que facilita a la hora de pedir platos y recomendaciones. En algunas horas tienen música tradicional en directo. El espacio es muy amplio, con gran cantidad de mesas, platos y también bebidas (no olvidarse de la cerveza)!

La de cervecería y también restaurante, más famosa de la ciudad y con más solera, ya que se fundó en 1589 como fábrica de cerveza, inaugurada por Guillermo V de Baviera. Dispone de enormes salones que suelen estar llenos desde media mañana ya que se ha convertido en una de las más famosas atracciones turísticas de la ciudad.

Cerveza top, de las mejores de Múnich. El concepto es muy divertido, con mesas compartidas y música local en vivo que le da muchísimo ambiente y carácter al lugar. La comida cumple bien y acompaña perfecto a la cerveza. El servicio es algo lento, sobre todo cuando está lleno, pero forma parte un poco de la experiencia por el tamaño y la afluencia del sitio. En general, un lugar muy auténtico, animado y totalmente recomendable para vivir la experiencia bávara clásica. 🍺🎶

La cerveza es excelente pero no voy a recomendar la comida. Tienen salchichas por lo general, pero tienen buenas opciones para una buena cerveza Alemana. Buen servicio y ambiente además de eso.

I made a reservation almost 2 months in advance, expecting that having a booking would guarantee a proper table. However, when we arrived, the staff simply told us to “look around” and find any available seats. Since we came as a large group, a bit challenging and definitely not what we expected after booking so early. For overall atmosphere was lively and truly captured the classic Bavarian beer hall experience. The food was delicious — especially the pork knuckle and the roasted chicken — and the beer was excellent, definitely worth trying. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy good German food, great beer, and a traditional Bavarian atmosphere.

The restaurant is unique. It really gives an old school charm of Munich feeling. This restaurant has lot of history to it. It is humongous in size and you can sit down wherever you feel like. First come first serve (I’m not sure about first serve). The waiters take their time to come and serve you. You just put in your order for your drink first and then your meal. It can be quite hectic in there, but you will enjoy the live music if you sit close to them. The beer sizes are ginormous, so drink at your own risk. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend to go here even if you’re a vegetarian (you’ll have some choices)

El menú típico no es para echar cohetes De cantidad generosa de calidad no es gran cosa Ensalada pequeña y demasiado aliñada 5/10 Plato salchichas, sin más 5/10 Codillo no está mal pero nada diferencial 6/10 Tarta de manzana fría 6/10

Hay que visitarlo al menos una vez si viajas a Munich. Cervecería histórica en un edificio emblemático, con una decoración que no pasa desapercibida y con actuaciones de música tradicional bávara en directo. La cerveza es muy buena (especialmente la negra). La comida ya es otra cosa... Pedí cerdo con salsa: la carne estaba seca, demasiado hecha. No era jugosa. Por otro lado el servicio es caótico: debes buscar mesa tú mismo y ser hábil. Los camareros no son los más agradables que te vas a encontrar: ni una sonrisa, ni un gesto amable. Toman nota, sirven platos y retiran platos, sin más. También exigen propina. Gastronómicamente hablando ni en cuanto a servicio, no va a ser la mejor cena de tu vida. Pero el ambiente, el local y la cerveza bien merecen la visita. Prost!

El ambiente es muy bueno, la música hace que la visita sea inolvidable. Sin embargo es un desorden. Uno tiene que andar buscando mesa, los meseros a duras penas te atienden, tardan mucho, están cobrando porque ya van a salir de su turno, la comida es regular.

A vibrant place filled with energy and loud laughters. IMHO, just go there for the beer will do , forget about the food. Especially the beef broth which tasted like water with salt 😵‍💫 Pork knuckle is edible amongst the rest. We didn’t wait long for our table as we made a reservation, but the service staff was so busy we waited long before we could order and get our food.
