Un restaurante muy acogedor, la comida muy buena con un producto de calidad, me gustó mucho la cocina abierta qué veías cómo lo preparaban todo delante de ti, muy profesionales y el servicio también muy rápido y atento. Pedimos el menú de degustación para 2 personas y es brutal, sale muy bien de precio y comida más que suficiente. Totalmente recomendable, como también el pan con mantequilla ahumada que está buenísima. Nos encantó!!!
Un cumpleaños lleno de sabor y emoción Este año celebramos mi cumpleaños en La Mundana de Sants, uno de esos lugares que guardamos para ocasiones especiales, cuando queremos disfrutar de una experiencia gastronómica que sorprenda, emocione y deje huella. Y, como siempre, La Mundana no solo cumplió sino que volvió a enamorarnos. La comida comenzó con un vino que marcó el ritmo de la celebración: un Emma Albariño–Riesling Emma Albariño–Riesling, del maravilloso celler Vega Aixalà (DO Conca de Barberà) espectacular. Aromático, fresco, vibrante, de esos vinos que te hacen cerrar los ojos en el primer sorbo y pensar que la comida va por muy buen camino. El primer bocado fue pura elegancia marina: ostra natural con limón y pimienta, sencilla y perfecta, con ese equilibrio entre frescor, acidez y un toque picante que despierta todos los sentidos. También probamos la ostra ramen de jamón con velo de panceta, una combinación atrevida, creativa y absolutamente deliciosa. La profundidad del caldo, el toque salino de la ostra, el perfume del jamón y ese velo de panceta que se fundía suavemente… un plato que demuestra la personalidad única de La Mundana. El tartar de atún con perfumes de Asia fue otro momento estelar. Aromas envolventes, textura impecable y un juego de sabores que viajaba entre lo fresco, lo cítrico y lo especiado. Un plato que se disfruta con todos los sentidos. No podían faltar las icónicas bravas de La Mundana, siempre crujientes, siempre sabrosas, siempre un acierto. Un clásico que nunca decepciona. El foie a la brasa fue pura tentación, meloso, intenso, con ese toque ahumado que lo convierte en un bocado memorable. Y para cerrar la parte salada, un plato que nos dejó sin palabras: el rabo de toro con trufa, profundo, suave, aromático, con una trufa que elevaba cada cucharada a un nivel superior. Una auténtica delicia. Y si la comida fue extraordinaria, la atención del equipo estuvo completamente a la altura. Los camareros, siempre atentos, cercanos y muy dedicados, hicieron que la experiencia fuera fluida y especial, se agradece muchísimo, sobre todo en un día tan señalado. Salimos con la sensación de haber celebrado mi cumpleaños en el lugar perfecto con una comida llena de sabor, creatividad, cariño y momentos que se quedan contigo. La Mundana de Sants volvió a demostrar por qué es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos para celebrar lo importante.
La comida me encantó y los platos de fuera de carta estaban espectaculares. De algunos platos no pude ni sacar foto de lo rápido que atacamos 😋. Fuimos a comer 4 compañeros de trabajo y estuvimos muy a gusto. Esta muy bien ubicado cerca de Sants, por lo que si necesitas un sitio cerca, agradable y con buena comida tienes que ir!
Fui a celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños con mi pareja. Superó nuestras expectativas y ya eran altas. Cocina de calidad respetando el producto y tradición pero elevado a otro nivel. Servicio impecable desde la llegada hasta que te vas. Sin decir nada, nos pusieron una vela. Sin duda, de los mejores restaurantes a los que he ido últimamente. Muy recomendable!! Volveremos
Riquísimo todo, el tarta de atún y la burrata con el toque de la calabaza son otro nivel. Quien nos atendió fue súper amable y nos ayudó a escoger platos, el ambiente es tranquilo. La pasamos muy bien. Algo me gustó mucho fue ver al chico de la entrada emplatar. Deseando volver!
Este restaurante es muy bueno, de verdad que no decepciona. Ya es el segundo año que vamos a celebrar un cumpleaños y no bajan el nivel. Tienen toda una carta original y coherente, con mucha calidad y sabores sorprendentes. El servicio amable y atento y el local pequeño y cuidado al detalle. Lo recomiendo mucho, está muy bien relación calidad precio.

Servicio de 10. Experiencia gastronómica fantástica. Hemos ido algunas veces y todo es un acierto. Muy recomendable el arroz de cap i pota y el carpaccio de gamba roja, y por supuesto el torrichucho de postre.
Reservamos con antelación antes de ir de viaje a Barcelona, y sin saber que nos pillaba algo lejos de dinde nos alojábamos, pero no puedo estar más contenta con la decisión. El ambiente era acogedor, casi se sentía íntimo, con poco ruido y facilidad para conversar. Los camareros nos trataron con suma amabilidad y nos aconsejaron. Y la comida... fue absolutamente increible. Mención especial al huevo sorpresa, nos habríamos comido 10! Una experiencia muy grata y con ganas de repetir si volvemos.
Vamos a ver…. Hay sitios, y sitios, y la Mundana, es un maldito 10, redondo, sin comas, y sin peros. De principio a final, la experiencia solo mejora. Esperas que en algún momento la calidad afloje, que disminuya un poco porque no puede ser que ese listón se mantenga en el tiempo…. Pues olvídate, te equivocas, el listón no solo se mantiene, sino que sube y sube hasta la estratosfera. Hacía tiempo que un plato no me daba escalofríos de puro placer. Gracias por tanto.
Local acogedor en Sants que apuesta por una cocina creativa y de fusión. Dispone de un pequeño patio muy íntimo, ideal para 2-3 personas. Los platos son originales, de sabor exquisito y elaborados con productos de calidad. Las raciones pueden resultar algo pequeñas para el precio, pero el conjunto compensa. Servicio extraordinario, ¡felicidades al equipo!
Optamos por este restaurante antes de coger el ave y la verdad que fue todo un acierto. Los platos eran pequeños pero súper ricos. Great food! Best tapas(fusion)in Barcelona! The dilemma is, can a tapa restaurant this good remain a “hidden gem” near the train station neighborhood? And will stupid tourists like myself eventually ruin a good thing by overrunning it?
Yes, It's a bit on the expensive side. But service is great, and the food is tasty, fresh and original - so you do pay for quality. If you feel like treating yourself with a good restaurant, go there!
Excellence is not a myth and can be achieved. It may seems an overthinking but the fusion of recipes, ingredients is a journey worth more than one visit. The menu si short, although it offers a great diversity of dishes, with starters, cold and hot, fish and meat, and even veggie ones. The wines menu is much more extensive with an excellent choice of its variety. Great service for a establishment that although it has great decoration, remains too small on its capacity for the greatness of its food. With all its high and lows it is a gem!!! It does not matter if you have a celebration or simply wants to enjoy one of its unique top tier dishes. It does not matter the why or the when, the experience is beyond your dreams. So enjoy and be thankful for every moment. Mid to high price, but the quality makes it absolutely positively balanced.
I visited this restaurant for my birthday and made reservations a month in advance. The food was delicious, and my server spoke good English. I highly recommend the red shrimp carpaccio as a starter and the eel rice as the main course. However, I found the egg surprise to be a bit disappointing, and the pork cutlet sandwich was a bit oily. For cocktails, I enjoyed the refreshing and sweet coco drink. I will be back to try the Korean rib next time
Outstanding! Had a wonderful meal here on a recent work trip. Creative plating, amazing attention to detail on flavor and texture and the most delicious wood fired bread and smoked butter (we spent more on bread than we did on wine). Well outside the more touristy parts of Barcelona. Didn't poll the other customers but it certainly felt like a local favorite. Small spot so I recommend a reservation, my guess is they are often full.
Loved the katsu sando and the pig feet rice with bone marrow, both were fantastic! The pork ribs were okay, though not quite as outstanding as the other dishes in our opinion. Service was excellent too!
I went to this place 6 years ago and the food today is still as amazing and delicious as I remember. Great job keeping the quality, and service was just fabulous. Thank you for a great night

Cute little spot! I was split between giving it 4 or 5 stars. Overall, good service, nice atmosphere, but couple of dishes were not on par with others - for me. However I think it’s more due to the restaurants take on the dish rather than they didn’t make it well. Bread while served warm was plain, and the butter’s flavor was a bit too smoky. I tried steak tartar and while it didn’t hit the right flavors for me, it was well prepared. Egg surprise was good and so was the Korean Ribs dish. Overall, it was a good lunch, but on the pricey side - 60 EUR per person. I would return again to give other dishes a try !
The portions are enough big for sharing and all plates arrives on time, not all is in once nor too big gaps between the plates. Most important, the taste! Amazing. Really good tastes which is not like Michelin recommended restaurants but it is also Michelin recommended…
THE BEST meal we've had in months. The Michelin bib gourmand wasn't for nothing! Loved the pig feet rice (no feet in sight) and steak tartare and every single we had. And superb friendly service! Top choice.
Wow, we had such a great meal here! The staff were friendly and efficient and the restaurant had a nice vibe, but the food stole the show! We would absolutely recommend the katsu sandwich, the ribs, the pesto oysters and the french toast dessert. Such great prices for the quality too!
We were very impressed with every dish. The oysters with kimchi and cheese are one of the best I have ever had. The croquettes were not my favourite dish, I had better in other places but they were still tasty. The bravas sauce and the spices that are embedded make them unique. The calamari is a std dish. The prawn carpaccio was also very tasty with a tangy flavour. The rice was well cooked. The truffle foam with egg is a different dish, smooth, flavoursome. The ribs are the best I have ever had, the smoky flavour is lush. The smoky butter with bread is a must, it will surprise you. The pancetta sandwich was so good we ordered it twice. The red wine we had Lo Cabaló was the perfect pairing.
La Mundana is very casual for a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. The staff is friendly and not at all formal. You can order delivery service whis was surprising. I really enjoyed the tastes - they were quite intense and heavy, but not much. The egg surprise is the most memorable meal from my trip to Barcelona. It was an explosion in my mouth. I'll gladly visit again.

Each sip was a delight to the senses, a symphony of herbs and spices that piqued my curiosity and left me eager to try the next. The food here is simply not to be missed. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece, meticulously prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. From the most classic tapas to the most contemporary creations, every bite is an explosion of flavours. The friendly and knowledgeable staff guided me through the menu, giving me recommendations that turned out to be absolute hits.
A wonderful little restaurant! Unpretentious and welcoming, we loved every minute of our time here. Great food, great service, good wine, all for an excellent value. If we lived in Barcelona, we would be regulars here.
Amazing. Just amazing. I had an incredible evening at La Mundana. Everything was perfect: the food, the drinks, the staff. Really spectacular among the many great dishes were the patatas bravas Mundana-style and the milk-soaked brioche. Others, like the grilled crab or the carpaccio were still really good and would satisfy any foodies desires. For the drinks: some surprising stuff, the orange wine was just great and went perfectly with the dishes. Only remark to the staff: you were too fast with bringing new dishes. Bit still: best experience in a long time. Very highly recommended.

Fusión Intrigante, Ejecución Defectuosa Este lugar pequeño e íntimo es perfecto para una cita de pareja o un grupo muy reducido. El concepto principal—la cocina española con un toque asiático—es genuinamente emocionante y, en la mayoría de los casos, se ejecuta muy bien. Nos impresionaron particularmente el tartar de atún, la brocheta de pulpo a la parrilla y el decadente foie gras; estos platos fueron creativos y memorables. Desafortunadamente, la excelente comida se vio empañada por el servicio. El personal fue frío, distante y, lamentablemente, llegó a parecer arrogante. No había calidez ni bienvenida, lo que impactó significativamente en el ambiente general. Una nota práctica final: las porciones son más bien pequeñas, en línea con el enfoque de "pequeños platos". Para poder formar una comida completa, necesitarás pedir con bastante libertad, lo que puede hacer que la cuenta suba rápidamente. En resumen: comida fantástica eclipsada por un servicio poco acogedor. Un gran lugar por su cocina si vas con las expectativas correctas.
Raciones muy pequeñas para el precio. No vayáis si tenéis mucho hambre. Teniendo en cuenta eso, todo tenía un sabor exquisito y estaba bien elaborado. Como experiencia gastronómica muy bien. El trato de los trabajadores muy bueno!
Restaurante interesante, comida espectacular y las recomendaciones de la carta muy adecuadas. Platos sorprendentes, combinaciones diferentes. En definitiva, parada obligatoria si estás por la zona y si no estás, vale la pena acercarse. Buena relación calidad precio. Como nota de mejora, la extracción de los olores y el ambiente algo ruidoso, y que fumaran clientes en la pequeña zona exterior entrando olor a tabaco en el restaurante. Por lo demás perfecto
La ostra es la más impresionante que he comido en mi vida y el katsu Sando estaba de 1000!! Volvería a por esos dos platos con los ojos cerrados!
La Mundana se ha consolidado como uno de esos restaurantes barceloneses que, pese a su tamaño reducido y un local algo apretado, ha sabido convertirse en clásico gracias a una propuesta gastronómica sólida, creativa y bien ejecutada. El servicio acompaña: atento, rápido y con conocimiento de la carta, lo que refuerza la sensación de estar en un sitio que cuida al comensal. • Ostra servida sobre piedras: pura presentación teatral. Producto fresco, con aliños que realzan sin tapar. • espectacular patatas bravas así como originales • Coliflor con salsa Café París: bien jugada la mezcla vegetal-grasa, con textura tierna y un punto crujiente que evita el aburrimiento. • Flor de calabacín rellena de berenjena con salsa arrabbiata: vistosa y elegante, fritura limpia y salsa de tomate con carácter. • pedir el huevo es obligatorio • Brioche relleno de rabo de toro con sabayón: probablemente de lo más contundente y goloso. El pan esponjoso se funde con la melosidad de la carne y la capa cremosa por encima, un bocado que engancha. • Postre de chocolate con crujiente y puntos cítricos: cierre equilibrado, intenso pero no empalagoso, con toques que limpian la boca. La carta confirma lo que se ve en los platos: técnica, mezcla de influencias (toques asiáticos, mediterráneos, guiños latinoamericanos), pero siempre con la materia prima por delante. No es un sitio barato, pero la calidad y el mimo lo justifican. En definitiva, La Mundana es un restaurante con personalidad, que combina tradición reinterpretada y platos creativos, donde casi todo está pensado para compartir y disfrutar en mesa pequeña y animada. Si buscas espacio y tranquilidad, quizá no sea el lugar, pero si lo que quieres es buena cocina con carácter, es apuesta segura.
Comfort bistronomy that needs a lighter hand La Mundana sits in modern Barcelona bistronomy: Mediterranean small plates, a few global touches, and that casual “order a bunch and share” rhythm. The room is lively, the cooking is generally competent, and we do eat well here—there’s enough technique and product to keep the meal on track. Our main issue is heaviness. Too many dishes feel loaded with oil, and it blunts flavors that could otherwise be sharper and more defined. A little refinement—less fat, more precision—would lift the whole menu. The second issue is originality: the proposition feels familiar, built from the same playbook as many other places in the city, so it doesn’t leave much of a signature. On the wine side, it’s serviceable but unexciting. We can drink, but we’re not really inspired, and the pairing energy doesn’t match the food’s ambitions. In the end: good for a casual meal, not a place we’d chase for ideas or bottles Clean: 6/10 Comfort: 6.5/10 Food: 7.5/10 Wine: 7.5/10 Service: 7/10 The Experience: 7/10 Price: 40€/pax
The best potatoes ever!! Would love to come back just for them. I also had their bread which was nothing special but the smoked butter was a nice touch. Tuna tartare and red prawn carpaccio were okay both were pretty good but maybe a touch of sourness would be nice on them. Katsu sando was not good, lacks flavour. These ribs were pretty good especially with the bites of candied ginger on top.
