Si quieres comer una excelente comida catalana este es tu sitio. Todo lo que hemos probado estaba muy bueno, la calidad del producto excelente. El personal ha sido muy gentil y a pesar que era un día de fiesta con mucha faena, han sido rápidos y majos.

Qué maravilla de sitio! Disfrutamos muchísimo la comida, de lujo. Además nos ayudaron mucho con nuestras intolerancias alimenticias y las adaptaciones de los platos fueron de diez. Fui con mi pareja, el pidió la Carrillada y era espectacular, se deshacía en la boca. Yo pedí el magret, el mejor que he probado nunca. Lo acompañamos de unas ostras y de postre. Si, pudimos tomar postre!!! Normalmente es muy difícil al ser intolerantes a trigo y lácteos. Nos trataron genial, super agradables. Muy buen ambiente, volveré!

Platos elaborados, y nuevas interpretaciones de clásicos . Todo de gran nivel y buen sabor. Postres muy buenos. Y personal muy simpático. Imprescindible reservar. Cuando está lleno puede ser un poco ruidoso.

La carta tiene bastantes opciones, todo lo que probamos estaba muy bueno, con el local lleno, el servicio fue muy bien en los tiempos. Se nota que las elaboraciones tienen cierta complejidad, sabores profundos y en general opciones creativas y originales. Merece la pena pagar un pelín más que en otros sitios por todo esto y volveremos encantados. Para la perfección: algún plato llegó templado en lugar de caliente y valorar poner la carta en español (solo está en catalán e inglés)

Me encanta La Panxa del Bisbe, un sitio con auténtico sabor gourmet. Su ubicación, cerca de la Vila de Gràcia, es inmejorable y todo el mundo coincide en lo bien situado que está. Tienen una carta muy variada, pero lo que de verdad hacen increíblemente bien son las tapas; su foie es simplemente excepcional. Cuando piensas en la calidad de su cocina, lo atento que es el personal, la decoración tan interesante y el ambiente tan relajado, te das cuenta de que los precios son una grata sorpresa, nada exagerados y la comida lo vale totalmente. Además, puedes pagar con tus tickets restaurante. Eso sí, es un lugar tan popular que te recomiendo reservar siempre. Es un plan perfecto para ir en familia, y si quieres hacerte una idea, sus fotos de Instagram reflejan muy bien lo especial que es.

We found this restaurant after going to another place that we found closed upon arriving. The chef of the closed restaurant came out and recommended us to head to La Panxa del Bisbe instead. Everything was super delicious and the service was fantastic. The patio in the back is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful meal. Would highly recommend the gnocchi with chanterelles.

If you visit Barcelona and you look for a restaurant with fresh and imaginative Catalan cuisine, fair price and warm armosphere, La Panxa del Bisbe - the Bishop’s Belly in Cataln - is your place. La Panxa is my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. I live a few blocs from it and I am always in the mood to go there and enjoy what Xavi is coocking with his team. Everything is delicious and the wines - all Catalan - have been chosen with expertise and love. If you go visit Park Guell, stop by La Panxa on your way down to the city. Ahhhh, do not forget to order the rice -paella - that Xavi always have in his menu. It is the best I have ever had in Barcelona 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Just go go go!! We have a history with this restaurant that goes back to 2014. In those days it was a small, local place about a block over from the current location. There were two extraordinary chefs and an amazing server (owner?), Elena, who charmed us with her willingness to translate the Catalan menu. The meal blew us away, and we decided to do whatever it would take to return to Barcelona. We went back to this place two other times (I think the name changed to “La Panxolina”) and were delighted with each experience. In 2018 our trip to the new Panxa del Bisbe was less inspiring. We were so happy we had made the effort again in 2023. Yes, it was more expensive than some other places we tried, and the crowd was a bit upscale for us, but our food was delicious and innovative. We relished every dish, especially the surprisingly delicious pear with celery ice cream. Great option near Güell Park if you are ready for a splurge.

I spent a year in Barcelona and discovered many great places to eat but La Panxa del Bisbe is undoubtedly my favourite! The menu is innovative with exciting pairings of flavours. For the quality of food, presentation and service, the price is quite reasonable. They also have an excellent wine selection, a particularly good place to try some of locally produced wine. The cherry on the cake was 2 free shots (one anise based and the other I couldn't really tell) as compliments of the house. If you are in Barcelona, treat yourself to a meal here - you will not regret it! (Fairly near Park Guell so you can couple the meal with a visit to the park. Note: they are only open Tuesday to Saturday and have limited dining hours.

I loved this place. This is my favorite place in Barcelona. We had gaspatxo, ceviche, tomato tartar, lamb neck and smashed cod with poached egg. All was excellent with the ceviche standing out.

I came to this place because of Yelp and it did not disappoint! We didnt have reservations, we came in the afternoon, I imagine at night it's even busier and they were pretty busy, full at one point!. I tried to make reservations online but they dont have that feature you have to call...I couldn't. Okay the food, there was nothing nothing bad on the menu! I kept on waiting for something to taste not good but that wasnt the case. Some may view it as pricey others might think it's ok. So we had tomato bread, it is delicious, this is a must try. We had the tartare de tomate with small toast, it had tomatoes, avocado, cucumber and other great things, yes great as well. We had the mussels with fries in a delicious sauce. We had the garbanzo- Gaxpasto soup which was good, cold soup. Cannoli, there was some pasta with oxtail, so tender and delicious! We had croquettes, they had chicken filling inside and they come 2 per serving. I had a beer with like lemon juice, it was good. Then came the brownie with ice cream and white chocolate! Do yourself a favor when in Barcelona, go try it, you wont regret it! It was like 64 euros for all and a soda. We walked so I'm not sure about parking situation. Enjoy the pics!

Reseña del restaurante El sitio es, en general, una experiencia excelente. La comida es deliciosa, el ambiente es acogedor y tiene un toque especial que lo hace destacar. Además, el personal es muy atento y agradable, lo que contribuye a que la visita sea aún más placentera. Sin embargo, hay un par de detalles que creo que deberían mejorar, porque pueden echar un poco para atrás a algunos clientes. El primero tiene que ver con la carta. Está únicamente en catalán e inglés. Esto no supuso un problema para mí, ya que hablo catalán, pero me pongo en la piel de quien no domine ninguno de estos idiomas. No es que sea un problema en sí —cada restaurante decide cómo organizarse—, pero creo que sería importante dejarlo claro antes de entrar. No sé si esto está indicado en su web (no lo he comprobado), pero no hay ningún aviso en la entrada que informe de este detalle. Encontrarte con esta sorpresa una vez dentro puede generar cierta incomodidad para algunos clientes, y algo tan sencillo como un cartel que explique esto evitaría malentendidos y momentos incómodos. El segundo punto es el precio. Aunque la comida es excelente y se nota la calidad de los ingredientes, los precios son altos. Platos pequeños que cuestan entre 15 y 20 euros pueden hacer que la cuenta final se dispare fácilmente, sobre todo si vas con varias personas. Por muy bueno que esté todo, hay una sensación de que la relación calidad-precio podría ajustarse un poco más. Dicho esto, el restaurante me dejó muy buen sabor de boca en todos los demás aspectos. Es un lugar que recomendaría, pero con estas dos advertencias en mente. Si mejoraran la comunicación sobre qué tipo de local es y ajustaran un poco los precios, sería un sitio prácticamente perfecto.

Restaurante con diferentes platos pensados para compartir ( tipo tapeo pero con platos muy diferentes) Pedimos los ñoquis, la focaccia, las croquetas y el arroz, y nos encantaron todos los platos. El roastbef también los pedimos pero no nos entusiasmó. De postre el flan de queso ( brutal) y el pan con chocolate y sal ( muy diferente). En general está muy bien, pero creo que las cantidades son un poco escasas para el precio que tienen. Nosotros eramos 3, y salió a 34€/px, con 5 bebidas y agua gratis.

Si estás por la zona o como en mi caso tras visita Parc Güell, vale la pena visitarlo, un descubrimiento gastronómico. El local dispone de terraza interior. La atención muy atenta. Tiene variedad de platos. Nosotros compartimos los primeros y de segundo a elección. Buena elaboracion y calidad. Lo recomiendo. Conviene reservar. Hacen dos turnos

Fuimos ha cenar, cogimos un menú cerrado,la comida espectacular, todo buenisimo y cada plato cocinado en su punto ideal, parecía poca cantidad, pero quedamos satisfechos. Las únicas pegas que puedo poner son que las mesas y el espacio entre mesas me parece un poco justo y que le hicimos un par de preguntas a la camarera y no supo respondernos, tuvo que ir a informarse ella, por lo demás genial todo, es la segunda vez que voy y volveré de nuevo

We were recommended this restaurant by a local for their specialisation in seafood. Although their operating hours were not ideal for us we enjoyed the meal so much that we went twice in the space of less than a week. The selection of dishes is terrific - quite wide - and not predominantly seafood by any means. In fact our favourite dish was probably the arros delta and the least favourites were the desserts. But overall the food is definitely a cut above the rest and so it was no surprise that it gets pretty full.

We came here for lunch and ordered a variety of plates to try out. The food is all a bit fancy and pretty. My family enjoyed some dishes more than others. They liked the oxtail cannelloni and grilled octopus, the latter of which was very tender. For myself, I got the vegetable “mille-feuille” (not layered with pastry but thin slices of cheese) which was very tasty. The service was decent. Prices a bit higher than some other restaurants.

This is a lovely little place hidden on a cute quiet street. It is worth finding. The tapas is really quirky and tasty. We had tomato bread, tomato with Spanish cheese, razor clams and jamon with tempura, couldn’t fault anything on the menu.
