I had an excellent experience at La Lolita! The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The portion sizes were generous, satisfying my appetite. We had dinner -2 times! It’s so good and we went back again. We ordered seafood paella both times. It’s our favourite. Squid is fresh, tendon loin is tender , eggplant dish is so delicious too. It provides lovely environment for dinner. We didn’t need to wait!

Noor, the waitress, is very friendly and kind. She serves customers with a great smile and politely asked the customers if they are satisfied with the food and service. The environment is great for dining in. Definitely, a recommended place for foreign tourist to authentic Spanish paella.

Incredible food, you have to get the chorizo de vaca and the patatas bravas together. They pair perfectly, we ordered them both twice because they were just so damn good. The gambas el ajillo and chicken milanesa were also fantastic. This is a great restaurant, you will enjoy it.

Beautiful little gem, had amazing steaks and a lovely chat with the waiter Ahmed, very friendly and the food came really fast. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Cake and ice cream was delicious too! Great little spot where you can people watch and cool down in the shade! We were also given complimentary shots when paying the bill which was a bonus! Great little place with a nice atmosphere xx will definitely be back

Fui con unas amigas a celebrar un cumpleaños y nos gustó mucho, el ambiente era acogedor por parte del personal, ya que siempre estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotras y del pedido, que llegó enseguida! en menos de 5 minutos teníamos los platos ya en la mesa, pedimos unas rebanadas de pan con tomate y las patatas con salsa pesto y queso, estaban ricas, aunque un poco aceitosas. Para comer cada una cogió un plato y a destacar el pulpo, que venía una porción bastante grande y muy bueno, el pollo al horno también y en general las guarniciones estaban muy correctas. Pedimos 3 leches de postre, y es sin duda lo mejor de la carta, estaba muy rico! El camarero que nos atendió, Flavio, muy atento, nos recomendó qué vino coger y siempre tenia una sonrisa en la cara, muy recomendado :)

Hay mucha variedad de tapas españolas, lo mejor y lo que destaca más sin duda la carne. El restaurante es muy bonito, la decoración es TOP. Muchas gracias a nuestros camareros Thiago y Salah por el trato y por hacernos sentir tan a gusto durante la cena ☺️

Éramos 3 y puedo decir que con la paella ya te llenas. Los Huevos rotos esta demasiado bueno, el chorizo de vaca lo destacado, solo que las patatas las sentía un poco secas pero esta muy bueno. La ensalada con el vinagre muy bueno y los chipirones muy bueno, la mayonesa buenísima y con el toque limón.

Lo mejor de este restaurante es la decoración en su interior y la atención de todos los camareros, han sido muy amables y serviciales durante toda la cena. La comida está bien pero no es algo que destaque especialmente. Nos pareció algo caro para el tamaño de los platos aunque entendemos que es así por su ubicación y la gran afluencia de turistas que van.

El restaurante es muy bonito, La comida está normal, nada especial, lo único que me pareció que estaban un poco frías y no tan frescas fueron las patatas, del resto la comida estaba bien, el precio me pareció justo, entre 3 personas comimos bien, 10 platos para compartir y 3 bebidas grandes por lo que pagamos 85€.

We tumbled upon this nice-looking cafe while walking. We were lucky to get nice Spanish cuisine starters, the food was served fast. The only thing which made us upset was the guy who was taking orders outside, he was not polite enough. The rest was really well.

The food is good, with a variety of pasta, meat, and salads. Ahmed provided excellent service, very attentive and friendly. The location is excellent, making it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. It’s not a traditional Spanish restaurant, but a good option if you’re looking for a nice place near to Paseo de Gracia

Hicimos la comida de la empresa. La comida es espectacular. Los chipirones a la andaluza, la ensalada de mango, los nachos.. éramos 12 y cogimos el menú 2. En el segundo plato pedí ternasco de Aragón que venía acompañado con verduras salteadas. Y de postre pedí leche frita que lo pusieron con una bola de helado de vainilla. La comida y el ambiente estuvo 10/10. El servicio no fue tan bueno. El encargado, cuando le dijimos que teníamos reserva, nos llevó a una mesa de 12 comensales y nos trajo cartas para que pidiéramos y le tuve que recordar que teníamos reservado 12 menús del número 2. La reserva la teníamos a las 13:30 h que fue cuando ya estábamos allí y hasta las 14: 15 h no comenzaron a servirnos el pica - pica. Cuando estábamos terminando el pica-pica, se acercó el encargado y me preguntó si nos importaba cambiarnos de mesa porque tenía un grupo de 24 personas y los necesitaba sentar. Con todo el respeto le dije: te entiendo. Asume tu error pero no nos vamos a mover. Las camareras eran muy lentas, tuve que pedir el postre para llevar. Hice la reserva con más de un mes de antelación y hasta 5 veces solicité que me enviaran la confirmación de la reserva por mail. Cada vez que llamaba me decían que sí pero nunca me enviaron ese mail. La comida es espectacular. En serio. Felicidades a la cocina. Gestión de sala: pésima. Gestión administrativa: pésima. Saludos.

3.5- stars total. We came here early JAN2026 with a party of 5. We scheduled a table online for a 6pm dinner and were let right in on a Sunday evening. It did seem a party could show up and be sat given the main room was not so busy. We ordered drinks, a Caesar salad, two goat-cheese burgers (the best thing we had at the restaurant), a 350-gram steak, and seafood paella. The ambiance and decor is fun and nice. The service was average. The food was good…not great. Our bill came to €171.

The atmosphere and the place are nice. We ordered starters, potatoes, pulpetas, and chorizo, which were delicious. For the main course, we ordered paella to share, which was a good portion size, but unfortunately it was the worst paella we’ve ever tried. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he explained that this is the “Valencian taste.” Please don’t present it this way, otherwise no one in Valencia would want to order this dish. The paella was burnt and tasted bitter. Starters were good, but for the paella, unfortunately, it’s a big no.

Very underwhelming. Food was meh. Patatas bravas was burnt twice. Our waiter didn’t understand a lick of English so gave us stuff we didn’t ask for and they still charged us. Staff generally was ok. The girl working was most helpful. Plates and cutlery was not clean so had to get changed. Won he back.

Comida de buena calidad, pero el servicio deja mucho que desear. La comida fue satisfactoria; sin embargo, el servicio tuvo varios fallos durante la experiencia. Pedimos un postre que, después de avisar al personal en tres ocasiones, nunca llegó a la mesa. Tras esperar aproximadamente 20 minutos mientras otras mesas que llegaron después ya habían sido atendidas decidimos levantarnos e irnos. Es una lástima, porque la cocina demuestra buen nivel, pero la organización y la atención al cliente necesitan mejorar claramente.

Restaurante con un entorno precioso y comida regular. Sin embargo, el servicio fue pésimo. Tras 20 minutos de espera, nos sentaron en una sala bastante agradable con los menús, pero sin bebidas, y luego nada durante 40 minutos. A pesar de las numerosas llamadas a los camareros, ninguno se molestó en preguntarnos si teníamos sed o si habíamos terminado. Sin embargo, vimos cómo atendían las mesas a nuestro alrededor, cómo cambiaban de cliente, cómo volvían a atendernos... Así que 40 minutos después, por fin vino un camarero a tomarnos nota. Luego, otra larga pausa donde le expresé mi enfado al camarero, quien, en lugar de disculparse por la espera, nos criticó diciendo que no habíamos tenido paciencia. Le señalé que a la gente que nos rodeaba, que acababa de llegar 20 minutos antes, ya la habían atendido, pero se enfadó. Estábamos a punto de irnos cuando no nos sirvieron la comida, sino que nos la dejaron tirada como un saco de patatas... bueno, estaba bastante buena, un poco demasiado salada... No recomiendo este restaurante, donde lo importante es la cantidad, no la atención al cliente. Restaurant with a pricey and regular meal. Sin embargo, the service is pesimo. I’m giving it 1 star; it was the worst experience ever. The food took way too long to arrive—over an hour. The waiters were running around aimlessly, and they kept dropping plates in the kitchen. The food was terrible; the steak was served medium even though we ordered it medium-well. Also, they brought us the entire commercial packaging of ketchup and mayonnaise. The food wasn't even mediocre and the service was awful. 1 star only for the decoration

I had great experiences in Barcelona but this must be the worst one for solo travelers. When I arrived, it wasn't busy so the waiter took me in, but as I was waiting and there's more people dining in, he's refusing to take solo diners, the mother and daughter duo who was asked by another server to dine in who sat at a 4 seater table was asked to get up and he wants to move them to a 2 seater, they found it rude and they left. The food was ulk. I said medium steak and they gave me well done, it's expensive, a tourist trap and I'd like to warn everyone about this place. I did not want any issues so I did not ask them to change my steak as I'm solo and when I was paying, it's an overpriced steak, the waiter had the audacity to ask me for tip!!! He never even asked me how's the food or gave me water or anything, worst customer service ever and he was asking me for tip. I flat out said nope and left. I've been here in Barcelona a few times and this is the worst restaurant ever! Please spend your money somewhere else!

*If you are from London and looking for a Halal restaurant in Barcelona, this is the only review you need to read* Summary: In short, the food is abysmal. If you are used to the Halal food scene in London then do not (and I mean do not) waste an evening here or in the sister restaurant next door (The Steak House). Every single table around us (bar one) either complained or nearly (and I kid you not) had a fight with a waiter. From start to finish, the entire experience from food to service to atmosphere was abysmal. We walked in with 0 expectations (i.e., we knew it was overhyped and that the five-star reviews and Google ratings were too good to be true) and yet it still somehow was far worse than we could have imagined. 1. Getting a menu: Tables seated before us did not have a menu. We had to actively chase down a waiter in order to get a menu. The other tables around us did not realise they had to do the same thing and only once they realised that the waiters must be chased, did they ask for them. In fact, one table of 4 sat across us nearly got into an argument with a defensive waiter when they complained about this (amongst other things). 2. Being served: There is absolutely no process for taking orders. It’s not as you might expect from London where specific waiters take care of specific tables. You are at the mercy of flagging down a waiter as and when they happen to walk by (most of whom ignore you) - this has been mentioned in other reviews and it is completely true. To be fair this does appear to be the case in other restaurants we visited during our time in Barcelona and is not necessarily unique to this restaurant. 3. Food: We ordered the aubergine chips, the (apparently) homemade meatballs (because the chorizo was finished) and the Angus steak (with chips) which we asked to be cooked medium rare. Simply put - it was awful. Perhaps the only passable thing was the aubergine chips but even then if you bought these in London you would be asking for a refund. Let’s talk about the steak. We are almost certain they get the steak from the sister restaurant next door (The Steak House). It came raw. Not rare, raw. We asked for it to be cooked some more and the waiter obliged. When it came back to us, it was browner on the outside but still raw (pictures below if you don’t believe us) - this is after we asked for it to be cooked some more. In our experience this only happens when steaks are cooked from frozen or cooked poorly on too high of a heat. From the waiter’s reaction to our request, it seemed like he knew the chefs could not cook a steak/the steaks are usually an issue. 4. Getting the cheque: Once again, you have to chase waiters for the cheque. One of us had to get up and walk around the restaurant to find a waiter and ask for the cheque. Moral of the story - if you don’t chase down the waiters, you will not be served. There are other reviews here which mention that getting the bill is difficult - they are absolutely correct. 5. Getting the change: The cherry on top is that after paying in cash, one of us had to get up, make our way to the till and ask for our change. 6. Miscellaneous: We saw 3 other tables complain. Each time the waiter was defensive and rude. In general the wait staff seemed to be rude and dismissive. We suspect that they spend the whole day getting complaints and this has worn them down. As we were leaving we passed a woman passionately complaining and pleading with them and we overhead and I quote, “I have never been treated like this … we are all humans, please be nice”. The service is something we have never experienced in any country or restaurant ever. Most of the time the negative experience was directed at the other tables around us. What we have learnt is that the Halal food scene in Barcelona has a lot of catching up to do. Please, please, please just eat at a local independent Spanish restaurant (and order vegetarian or seafood dishes) in order to get the best experience. For example, Vinitius and Tapas 2254 are solid options for this nearby.
