En pleno corazón de Barcelona, entre tanto restaurante de cadena rápida y “atrapa guiris”, se encuentra un pequeño local atrapado en el tiempo que ofrece un buen servicio y producto para los barceloneses. El ambiente es agradable, muy acogedor. Además, los trabajadores del local son muy amables y ofrecen un servicio impecable. La comida es de buena calidad. La carta es amplia y tiene una buena selección de productos. La única pega que puedo poner es que, al menos, las croquetas diría que no son caseras. Sin embargo, el resto de productos son de buena calidad y están bien cocinados. Un sitio al que volvería seguro.

Recomendable!! Mi burrito y yo es un referente en Barcelona en lo que a comida se refiere calidad y cantidad, la preparación, el mimo y el cuidado con que presentan y preparan cada plato se nota. Los precios acordé con lo que venden. Se puede aprovechar la zona de la terraza o en su interior, ambos con encanto. Tuvimos la oportunidad de estar la noche de un viernes en su interior y disfrutar de un maravilloso concierto de una pianista en directo. No pudimos evitar repetir dos días después de su maravillosa terraza comiendo unos buenos calçots. Más que recomendable.

We came here over 10 years ago and wondered if it was still here: it is and the food is great! I had lamb chops (got 5!!) and my husband and son each got a T-bone steak. I’m not a great meat eater but my chops were cooked just the way I like it. The waiter was very professional. This place is in a square and the ambiance very nice. We sat outside. I would definitely recommend this place.

What a fantastic first meal in Barcelona! We had a wonderful introduction to Spanish cuisine with the set menu, and especially enjoyed the simple yet delicious pan con tomate (or pa amb tomàquet in Catalan). It's a classic for a reason! Stake and the seafood was amazing. We would have liked that servers were a bit more attentive. Highly recommended.

wow. this was the first place we ate at in barcelona and it really set the standards HIGH! we had pan au tomate and burrito’s special house salad with cold cuts for our starter, and roast lamb with sauté potatoes for our mains. i love pan con tomate and always get it when i come to barcelona. this time they gave us the ingredients and explained how to make it ourselves, with the garlic, tomato, and olive oil. this was a bit different and a nice touch. burrito’s special house salad with cold cuts: this salad was massive! it came with iberian ham on the top and some slices of black and white pudding and spanish cheese. the salad itself was lovely, but far too big. the proportion of meat to salad could have been a lot higher. it was very nice as a starter, just far too big. roast lamb with sauté potatoes: wow! this lamb joint just fell off the bone. it tasted so good. the sauté potatoes were equally as delicious. i feel this was missing a sauce however, something fruity or fragrant or herby was needed to bring it all together in my opinion. this does not take away how delicious the lamb and potatoes were. i would definitely come back here again. the restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside, with an eating area upstairs looking over plaça sant miquel and kitchen downstairs. the service was fast and the staff were really friendly. loved it

We went out for an evening walk from our hotel and stumbled upon this place. Very glad it happened. Hade the "meal of the day" but had to share it as it was so much great food. The service was spot on and we had no issue except the "busker" (street musician) only seemed to know one chord and lyrics were remarkably similar for the three songs he played....NOT the fault of the restaurant. Funny bits it's very hard to find this place on Google maps, but it's worth the exploration.

Greta experience in a very beautiful and typical catalan restaurant. We ate paella de marisco with a liter of sangria. Everything was delicious and fresh. The staff is very gentle and the service is fast. The prices are not so high maybe just a little bit higher than the medium prices of this type of restaurant in the center of Barcelona.

Este lugar dejó mucho que desear en nuestra visita. Hicimos la reserva a través de The fork y nos decepcionó descubrir que no incluía el menú promocionado a la entrada. Los precios resultaron elevados en comparación con la calidad ofrecida. Pedí una barbacoa y me sirvieron un trozo de bistec seco y sin sabor, y las demás carnes traían grasa excesiva. Además, nos cobraron casi 3€ por rodaja de pan por persona, lo cual nos pareció excesivo. Cosa a resaltar el personal es atento y servicial, como también la música aunque en un momento dado apreciamos también el silencio. Sin duda, no volveré, ya que en Barcelona existen restaurantes con mejor calidad y al mismo precio.

Fuimos a este lugar porque nuestro guía del Barrio gótico nos lo recomendó. Nos dijo que si podíamos pidiéramos en el búnker. Llegamos llenos de expectativas y al entrar avisamos que veníamos de parte del guía (a parte de que pidiéramos el búnker también mencionó que por venir referidos por el nos daban un vaso de cava para que probáramos). Lo primero que nos encontramos es ,al que asumimos que era el manager, haciendo caso omiso del lugar que preferíamos. Ni siquiera nos dio la opción de esperar. Nos subieron al segundo piso donde nos sentaron en la mesa como a la mala, y cuando fue la hora de tomarnos el pedido llegó el mesero y nos dijo “están listos?” Sin tiempo de responder simplemente asumió que no y dijo “vuelvo luego”. Esto pasó dos veces. Cuando pedimos, terminó ofreciendo un pan con tomate como una de las especialidades de la casa, fue nuestra culpa asumir que era cortesía de ellos. Peor era pan duro, y tomate y ajo crudo para que nosotros lo armáramos. Hubiera sido chévere que nos explicara eso con anticipación también. Para finalizar, nos dijo que la cuenta estaba abajo y cuando estaban terminando de recoger los platos, preguntamos de nuevo lo de la Cava y el mesero de mala gana nos dijo que el no era adivino para saber de parte de quien venía, a lo que le informamos que le habíamos dicho a la persona que nos recibió. La verdad deja mucho que desear. Yo que trabajo en servicio al cliente se que al final lo que queda es la impresión que te dan los que te atienden. Así la comida sea rica, si el trato es pobre, el resultado final sera poco satisfactorio.

Lamentablemente nuestra experiencia en este restaurante fue muy negativa. El camarero ( un caballero de cabello canoso) que nos atendió se mostró grosero y arrogante desde el principio. Su actitud fue poco profesional y nos hizo sentir incómodos. Además de contestar de manera brusca, parecía molesto ante cualquier pregunta y no mostró interés en ofrecer un buen servicio. Ojalá el establecimiento tome medidas para mejorar la atención al cliente, porque el servicio es tan importante como la calidad de los platos.

One to avoid. After watered-down Vermouth with very nice olives, we ordered a selection of anchovies (9 anchovy fillets from a tin, prepared in the same manner), salami (slices from an unskinned salami sausage, on a plate), Iberian ham (served incomprehensibly with little pieces of breadstick), tomato and garlic bread ( toasted bread on which you had to cut and squash your own tomato with garlic which you have to take from the clove skin yourself and rub onto the bread). And all this in a mad screech of school children on the playground of the square and beggars peddling their version of music. No wonder nobody else was sitting at any of the 10 tables outside on the terrace.
