Para mi top 3 de lugares a conocer en Barcelona. Concepto excelente, productos de primera y una atención que te hace sentir que perteneces a allí de toda la vida. Larga vida al Quimet!

Siempre un clasico en ascenso constante. Inconformistas y buscadores de la excelencia sencilla. Menos es más. El niscalo, con torta del casar, anchoa (menuda anchoa, top) y toque de oregano. Es como viajar a un atardecer en Sicilia. Todo el resto de la carta vale mucho la pena, destaco la tosta de cecina, la de salmon con yogur y miel trufafa, …. Ir con antelación esta petado siempre

Las tapas me parecieron fantasticamente deliciosas. Cada tapa preparada con gran atencion y esmero. Amplia variedad de vinos a la carta. Este sitio me encanto. Recomendable!

Bar pequeño pero con una calidad brutal. Tapas y montaditos buenísimos, todo muy bien montado y con productos top. Suele estar lleno, pero el ambiente es muy local y vale la pena. Ideal para picar varias cosas y salir contento sin gastar demasiado.

Great, authentic atmosphere, lively and welcoming. The tapas are excellent and creative, with some really original flavors. No reservations, so there can be a queue outside, but it’s definitely worth the wait. The staff are incredibly friendly and add a lot to the overall vibe. The place is quite small, and you’ll mostly be eating standing up, but that’s part of the charm. A must-visit for a true tapas experience.

The bar is rather cramped, I’ll be honest. There are no sitting places so you’ll have to stand. Personally I’m not a fan of such hangouts 😅 the ambience is lovely though, especially if you pop in there for a quick snack and a glass of whatever. Tapas are diverse and the staff are willing to guide you through the variety. Everything we ordered was great. Pricing is reasonable.

Open only weekdays. It's worth the 10-15 minute wait at the door during peak hours. I tried the scallop, caviar, shrimp, pate, and mushroom. All were delicious and fresh.

Do yourself a favour and go here! It’s a tiny cute little shop with only standing tables. All tapas are freshly made and you can watch while they prepare it. The service is super friendly as well. Can also recommend the house vermouth. Definitely one of our favourite experiences in Barcelona!

This was my favourite restaurant in Barcelona. Thoroughly impressed with their offerings. Everything we ordered was great and I especially love the scallops! The Torta del Cesar with chestnut was a delicious end to the meal. Each one of the sandwiches were thoughtfully curated and everything complemented each other very well. Service was excellent although it can be slow as there was only one waiter taking orders and managing the queue. Definitely don’t miss out and it’s worth waiting in the queue.

Just amazing! Really good place to eat tapas. Gives a nice authentic vibe with the small standing places and all the bottles of good stuff around. The staff is friendly and love to help explore new tastes. If you are lucky you get a spot at the bar where you can see the food get put together with an amazing passion. Highly recommend and come hungry so you can eat a lot!

A spot that is recommended by tourists and locals! Came in at 6pm opening and got a booth instantly. 15 minutes later, there was already a queue. Each party is allotted an hour and no split checks. Tapas and sandwiches were delicious! Honey Salmon Truffle is a must as well as the shrimp with peppers and caviar

This is truly one of the best spots in Barcelona and such a unique food experience. Here, food really turns into an experience with fast service and flavors that literally explode in your mouth. It’s incredible how they create such quality in such a small space. We went at 6 PM, and there are only three high tables and the bar, no chairs, and you can stay for just one hour—but it’s absolutely worth it. I also visited four years ago and the quality is still exactly the same. Congratulations and thank you!!

to me this is a MUST GO for any first time visit to barcelona. amazing tapas, amazing vibe and amazing experience. basically everything is good, i wish i can order everything on the menu. if i have to pick only one favorite it’ll definitely be the salmon with honey and truffle oil, mouthwatering! i loved standing by the bar, watching the food being prepared in front of your eyes, thats part of the fun. this is definitely one of my favorite meals during my stay and highly recommended.

Actually food and service is more than 5 stars. I can tell everyone that you must visit Quimet&Quimet when you come to Pobel Sec area. Every dishes are delicious and unforgettable. The staff are so nice. I visited Quimet & Quimet every time that I come to Barcelona. *************** If you spend 150 Euro per person (only dine in) the staff will give you 1 glass of beer. 🤣🤣🤣 🤭🤭🤭 ***************

Food are absolutely amazing! It's so good that we come back the other day to have the Tapas again. Salmon, codfish, mussels, scallops, prawn, urchin, pate all taste fantastic, the combination with truffles, honey, yogurt and tomatoes are perfect. This is how I picture a traditional Tapas bar in Spain. Small, basically a hole in the wall. Crowded with a small bar. Lively discussions, friendly patrons and not to forget awesome food.

The restaurant is quite small, comfortably accommodating 10 to 20 people. The service staff is attentive, and the food is average. I highly recommend trying the white asparagus with cod fish tapas.

Yulin

You have one hour dining time, no seats inside and it’s a standing bar. You place 3 plates with the waiters first, because the table is small, once you’re done you can place the next round. That usually brings the dishes quite quickly. Everything here is from cans, so no hot food. My favourite was the salmon yogurt caviar small sandwich, the shellfish ones were very fishy and I didn’t like that I could taste the ocean. The goose liver with chestnut starter was very yummy as well, they were a match made in heaven, chestnuts and mushrooms neutralises the smell from goose liver.

La comida es extraordinaria, con tapas innovadoras y mezcla de sabores extravagantes y muy bien combinados. La parte negativa es la mala educación del hijo y nieto del dueño, que se permite hacer bromas de mal gusto y tratar a las personas como a ganado. Deberían hacer una reflexión profunda en el trato, sobre todo la nueva generación. Una pena q enturbió nuestra degustación. Muy prepotente, poca gracia incluso ofensivo.

Solía ir bastante, pero la última vez una camarera fue bastante desagradable. Me explicó las normas: no puedes tomar algo si luego se van a unir alguien más. Mi amigo venía en media hora y se me ocurrió la loca idea de tomarme algo antes en la barra. A la opción de tomarme algo sola, y luego hacer la potencial cola con mi amigo, caras largas y super desagradable. Me repitió las reglas como si no fuera española, despacio y alto (probablemente como tratan a los turistas), sin darse cuenta negándome la opción de consumir como clienta. Ahora me arrepiento de haberme quedado, nunca me ha había pasado en un bar que no me quisieran servir y me tratasen así de desagradable. En Quimet Gracia nunca he tenido ningún problema.

Expectativas altas, experiencia mejorable… La comida está correcta y no es el principal problema, pero la experiencia general no termina de convencer. El restaurante parece funcionar más con un enfoque de alta rotación, lo que hace que todo vaya muy rápido. Desde antes de llegar ya te informan de un tiempo limitado para la mesa, y durante la comida se percibe cierta prisa para pedir y terminar. Esto hace que sea difícil disfrutar con calma. El trato del personal es educado, aunque algo impersonal y poco natural, dando la sensación de que la amabilidad es más parte del guion que de una atención cercana. En algunos momentos el trato puede resultar algo seco. En conjunto, es un sitio algo sobrevalorado, donde la comida cumple pero la experiencia se resiente por el ritmo y la atención. No es la mejor opción si buscas una comida relajada.

Horribly rude service. Made us wait half hour in the queue, let people behind us in ahead of us. Then told us to leave. Never go here!
