Sitio perfecto para tomarte unas tapas ricas y abundantes, y super rápido!!! Pedimos para compartir, eramos 2 adultos y dos adolescentes, buenísimo!! Nos encantó no solo el sitio, techo alto, muy luminoso con luz natural, el servicio amable y siempre atento…La comida muy sabrosa y perfecta para compartir. Solo hay que ver las fotos!! Jejeje No os olvidéis de la torrija…boom🤤!! Ideal para terminar la comida. Sin olvidarnos del rico vino que nos recomendaron, en su punto justo de temperatura! Volveremos seguro!!

¡Experiencia increíble en este restaurante en Barcelona! La comida estuvo buenísima y el ambiente muy agradable, pero lo mejor fue el servicio. We stumbled upon RAO while walking the streets of Barcelona and the ambience completely caught my attention! We asked to sit at the bar and they sat us right away! We were quickly attended by Juan, and he was so honest, fun, inviting, and talkative with us! He recommended the best tapas!! Highly recommend the ceviche and the pork cheeks! You will not regret! We also got red wine and it was super smooth!! Juan definitely made the experience very welcoming and also even helped us with recommending local clubs and adventures in Barcelona! When you come ask for Juan, he is the most genuine and honest server!!! - with love all the way from Texas!

My family and I had one of our most favorite nights and fun memories of Spain at this restaurant! Scenario: We didn’t have a reservation and my Dad is vegan. The manager was so helpful and said he would have a table for us within ~30min and recommended we go to the bar next door (separate post on how fab N3 cocktail bar was coming) while we wait and he would come get us when the table was ready. He was true to his word, and after amazing cocktails from the bar they came to get us for our dinner table. Our server Juan really made this dinner fun and memorable. He gave great recommendations and was sure to give good options for our vegan with pleasure. All of the food was amazing so I really can’t call out one dish that was better than the rest. Tapas style so we tried many things including the desserts! I had this ricotta or cheese one that was so light and amazing. Try as many things as you can until you are full is my rec. Juan helped us toast to the new year (on the 30th) with a shot of rum (?). We closed the restaurant that night but all of the staff were really friendly and engaging to our group (see rabbit ears behind us in the pic lol). I go to Barcelona for work conferences most years so will definitely add this to my list for the next time I am there.

Needed a dinner spot for a family of 13 and RAO knocked it out of the park. They accommodated us so well and were super friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed extremely genuine and the setting was cozy and beautiful. And then there was the food—so good! Everything they brought out was perfection. We left very full and happy. Best dinner in a two week trip and we'll be talking about it for years.

I would not be upset if we came here for dinner every night for the rest of our trip. The ambience and service was fantastic, and the food was incredible. We loved every dish but standouts were patatas bravas, steak tataki, and ceviche. The cocktail bar next door was also a fantastic place to get a drink or two while waiting for a table.

Some of the best food i have ever eaten! So much so, we visited twice during our 5 day stay. Such an array of different flavours and tastes. Staff were very attentive and helpful with explaining the dishes. Andre in particular made us feel very well looked after. He is great at his job.

Amazing atmosphere and tapas! The service was fantastic as well. We had the tortilla with truffle puree, scallops with mango/papaya chutney, Iberian pork cheek with creamy polenta, baked sea bass with artichoke and some coca bread with tomato puree. Everything was our favorite and we can’t wait to go back to try everything else! At the end we finished with the Catalan Cream which was still warm from the sugar torched top. Our waiter then invited us to their cocktail bar next door to end the night, which we highly recommend as well. We will see you all soon as we love close by.

10/10 have to reserve. Either online, by phone or by you can send them a text and they reply in a few minutes. The food is mouthwatering, they bring them out little by little at the perfect pace so you can enjoy all the Tapas. Super friendly staff who speak multiple languages. In the center, easy access. I would recommend the patatas bravas and the home made lemonade.

We had a terrific group dinner at Rao Restaurant last night. Juan from Cuba was our wonderful host and helped our party order an amazing tapas sequence. The cocktails were great, especially the Cuban Soul. The Sea Bass ceviche was very delicious and the sweetbreads were a surprise hit. Thanks for the lovely dinner and all your hospitality.

Best meal we had in Spain. It is worth a detour. Really enjoyed the sea bass ceviche, Iberian pork cheeks, and chocolate coulant dessert. I have been to Michelin restaurants before and some of these plates are on par. However, it is a much more relaxed atmosphere. Really friendly staff too.

I ordered three tapas, a cocktail, and a glass of sangria . Everything was full of flavor. The bill came to €67 plus an €8 tip, making €75 in total — a little on the pricey side, but entirely worth the experience.

We stuffed ourselves silly at this restaurant. The food is great and reasonably priced. We ordered lots of tapas and the simple things like tomato and bread were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Catalan cuisine (with Catalan wine of course). The Galician octopus was especially delicious and the torrija dessert was unforgettable, although I felt it could’ve used a bit more of the cream to accompany it. Overall the meal made the evening, highly recommended! And, they offered a complimentary drink at the bar next door, which turned out to be a great spot too.

Everything was perfect! From our charming French host to our wonderful tapas and outstanding cocktails by Juan. Trust me and take the recommendations of the staff…the food and cocktails were superior. The atmosphere is warm and intimate with great lighting and ambiance. This place was recommended to us by friends who were here last year and it hasn’t missed a beat since they visit. Highly recommend!

Outstanding. Was walking by and looked hood so popped in. They were completely booked and very busy but they said we could get service at the bar, so the bar we went. The bartender was awesome. I’m writing this review a week after and sorry, forgot his name, but everyone was outstanding. Recommended an excellent cab which he was familiar with California Napa cabs and said drank like that but at half the price. He was right. Food was fresh and the tapas were perfect sized for sharing and sampling many dishes. The best was their scallops. Also had their paella, a veggie dish and a beef dish. Everything excellent. Was told to avoid restaurants off the Las Ramblas but whoever told me that was mistake. I Highly recommend this place to go to when in the las Ramblas area of Barcelona.

La comida no está mal, aún que podría mejorar en tema de elaboraciones. Celebramos un cumpleaños, y la verdad que 10/10 el servicio. Súper atentos en todo momento y cuidadosos con cada detalle. El ambiente en la parte de arriba daba una sensación más privada y más íntima para el cumpleaños. Estamos muy satisfechas con el restaurante.

Tapas buenas y servicio encantador, recomiendo! Los tacos de cochinita pibil y las croquetas de jamón estaban excelentes, pero pueden pasar de largo con el pan con tomate o los cócteles. Pedimos un Espresso Martini y una Margarita; ambos fueron decepcionantes.

Bar Lobo es un sitio estupendo para disfrutar de unas tapas de calidad en pleno Raval barcelonés. El ambiente es cálido y acogedor, perfecto tanto para una cena tranquila como para tomar algo con amigos. La carta tiene platos muy variados y bien elaborados, destacando especialmente los espárragos y las berenjenas fritas con miel que estaban deliciosas. El servicio fue atento y amable, aunque en horas punta puede haber algo de espera. La terraza es genial para los días de buen tiempo. Relación calidad-precio correcta para la zona donde está ubicado. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

A last minute booking on a Saturday night in lare Nov. Food was good and while pricier than some places the quality was high. Flavours had some interesting/unusual combos but they worked. I did find some of the pig cheek a little dry and the sauce flavour had not penetrated the meat fully, but I am being picky. My wife loved the tomato bread and aubergine (eggplant). The place has a modern feel. Total bill was 85E inc wine, but no dessert.

Reserved a table for a weeknight dinner, the staff are really lovely and friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is moody and pleasant! It is a dark NY style restaurant so if you like open and airy it may not be ideal! Food was hit or miss, the bravas and burrata were decent, pan con tomate was not great, but the sea bass ceviche was absolutely delicious, teriyaki beef was covered in an unpleasant store tasting sauce on a nice piece of meat. Tricky one as atmosphere was nice and the staff were delightful but the food was very hit or miss.

Our first tapas meal in Spain and we came here upon recommendation. The portions were pretty big for tapas. Ordered the ceviche, octopus, scallops, pork cheeks and beef tenderloin. We liked the ceviche and beef. The pork cheeks were not as flavorful as we had hoped. Service was good and it was rather crowded as the night comes so better to get a reservation beforehand. Overall still a good place for a meal.

La comida está bien, en especial las berenjenas con miel, que fueron lo mejor de la noche. Los demás platos, correctos, sin más. El servicio deja bastante que desear: fue lento y tuvimos que recordar varias veces lo que habíamos pedido, lo que acabó afectando a la experiencia. El ambiente bien, el local está decorado con mucho gusto. Lamentablemente, el sitio está muy enfocado al turismo, y eso se nota tanto en el trato como en la carta. Si buscas un lugar auténtico para cenar bien, quizás no sea la mejor opción.

Pedimos ceviche, tartar de atún y berenjena con miel. Si no soportas el cilantro, como me pasa a mí, el ceviche es misión imposible y no dan opción de quitarlo, cosa que en otros sitios sí hacen. La berenjena estaba muy grasienta y se nos hizo pesada, no pudimos terminarla. El tartar de atún fue lo único que realmente nos gustó. De postre pedimos la torrija: bien, correcta, sin destacar demasiado. En general, la relación calidad‑precio nos pareció bastante floja

Decepcionada por ser del grupo Tragaluz. No cumple para nada los estándares de calidad de la comida de otros locales del grupo donde voy con frecuencia. Lo único que tiene es la terraza y aun así tampoco me gustó que cada dos por tres haya músicos ambulantes imponiendote su música y pidiendo por las mesas. Pagamos más de 70 euros por una comida muy mediocre. La tortilla de patatas más seca que la suela de un zapato, y eso que preguntamos previamente si estaba jugosa y nos dijeron que sí. Sitio totalmente enfocado al turismo. No volveré.
