TODO MUY RICO!! Encontré el restaurante mirando en Google maps y ha sido todo un descubrimiento. Es un sitio pequeño pero muy acogedor. Servicio y platos de 10. Todo muy fresco y el arroz caldoso espectacular 👌🏻 La próxima vez que volvamos a Barcelona de viaje repetiremos seguro.

fui hoy por primera vez y me ha encantado el sitio, la comida, el trato.. No conocía este lugar que está algo escondido pero que merece la pena visitar, la comida muy rica y fresca,el vino de la casa muy bien seleccionado y la atención del camarero excelente, se nota que es un lugar no masificado con turistas y donde sigue yendo la gente del barri, ademas he ido con mi perrita que se porta muy bien y hemos estado la mar de agusto, se agradece encontrar sitios donde son permisivos en este aspecto. Tambien se nota que ponen cuidado en todos los detalles Volveremos seguro!

Fuimos a una comida de empresa con el menú especial y nos ha encantado. Muy buenos los entrantes, el arroz al horno y espectacular la picaña que cocinan los propios comensales. El trato de 10!

Comida tradicional muy rica! Se nota mucho en los sabores que todo está preparado al instante. El servidor fue muy amable y atento. El restaurante tiene una decoración muy linda y un ambiente agradable. Una visita que deben hacer si pasan por Barcelona. 100% recomendado

Vaya sorpresa que me llevado. Pequeño Restaurante. Barrio del Raval. El menú de mediodía .excelente mente rico . La atención. Excelente. La calidad de la comida un Díez. Yo recomiendo si estas en el barrio del Raval ve a probar lo . Yo si que volveré pronto.

Comida casera y trato cercano y familiar. Totalmente recomendable y sorprendente por la presentación de los platos, el precio/calidad y su amplia carta además de disponer de menú del día incluso en fin de semana por 11 Euros o bien, menú de mercado por 20 Euros con diferentes y apetitosas opciones. Digno de felicitación tanto a su dueño como al cocinero y resto del equipo. Enhorabuena!!! Y gracias por su profesionalidad y buen hacer.

We loved this restaurant! Whilst on a city break in Barcelona we had a lovely evening dinner here, a short walk from our accommodation it was very easy to get to. The decor was beautiful inside and it had a really nice feel to the restaurant. The food was delightful and the paella was cooked to perfection. We would recommend the sangria - traditional and great to share around the table. Staff were extremely attentive and service was great here. Would recommend for a lovely evening with family and friends.

Wow. So I’m born in Spain and from a Spanish family. I grew up in NYC but mom made a KILLER paella. All this to say, I know a good paella. El Cafeti makes a GREAT paella!!! Try the marisco paella and treat yourself to a delicious meal. And by the way, the service is elegant, as is the atmosphere. Enjoy!!! (Sorry about the crappy video)

Coming into a warm and cozy restaurant feels like you jumped into the most genuine Spanish restaurant. From their interior design showcasing the vintage look to the most delicious authentic paella we have ever tasted. Adding to that, service was also commendable as they are very welcoming and lovely. Highly recommended this place. Surely you will leave with a smile and a full tummy.

This place is located a little off the beaten track and the neighborhood is a little colorful but the restaurant is amazing, the food was spectacular and the service was great. Very good prices for the quality of food. Patatas bravas and fried small fish and then I had the sole main course. So good.

Such a good place in Barcelona to enjoy food or drink. Prompt to the waiter who was very friendly and helpful. Their food is very good, chicken soup is light, mild taste good for starter, Paella is good as expected, finishing with a wonderful crunchy light apple pie but the apple is flavourful. Overall an amazing meal with good vibe and service, can't ask for more 😀

I have already been twice to this place and tried different stuff. The food is delicious (paella de marisco!!!), but what makes me come back is the service, the waiter is always so nice and make you really feel welcomed (give him a raise!! Hahah). You can really tell when someone enjoys their job :). Price is also a positive aspect worth mentioning, affordable and great food.

Full Review and Everything I Ate: I was in town for a few nights and asked the spot I’m staying at for some food recommendations. What I didn’t realize was that not only would I eat here once…it would become my favorite place. I returned for two more meals during my trip and wish I had more! Here’s a rundown of everything I ate (some of it more than once). If you’re in Barcelona, you must come here! Llenguado a la Planxa (Grilled Sole): 8/10 Perfectly cooked. Served on the bone, which lets you enjoy all the wonderful textures and flavors. I came back to try the paella, but this was the ideal lighter dish when I wasn’t as hungry. Paella de Marisco (Seafood Paella): 10/10 Wow. Just wow. I ordered the “pre peeled” version because I’m lazy…no regrets. This paella blew me away. The shrimp, clams, and every bite were spot-on. The rice had this rich, almost cheesy flavor that I could eat for the rest of my life. You definitely need to try this. Arròs Negre (Black Paella): 9.5/10 Only barely edged out by the seafood paella but this did not disappoint. Every bite had me smiling and the presentation was so beautiful. It felt like I was eating a piece of art. Croquetas Artesanas: 10/10 This may have been my first croquette or at least my first in a long time. Consider the bar raised. I ordered these twice and they are so perfectly warm, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. Each serving is one croquette but I could have eaten 10. Sangria: 10/10 Tried this on my last visit and wished I’d had it sooner. Went with the red wine version and I was ready to jump in a pool sipping these all day! The flavors are rich, deep, and developed. Crema Catalana: 9/10 My first time trying this dessert (similar to crème brûlée but a bit lighter). Just the right amount of sweetness. I also ordered this twice as I couldn’t resist. Little shots: 10/10 I don’t remember what these were called, but I was offered one at the end of each meal. You can choose how you want it prepared or let the staff pick (definitely go with the latter). It’s like a choose-your-own-adventure and every path leads to a party! Espresso: 9/10 The shots were pulled perfectly and a great way to finish my meal. Service: 10/10 Not only is the front of house service incredibly attentive and kind, they always provided wonderful recommendations and hospitality. Seriously would come back just for that level of care. The owner is also the chef and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in the food he cooks. I met him on my second stop and by my third visit he was asking about my travels and brought out this warm butter with a hint of lemon in it for my bread that was out of this world. This place offered a much-needed respite amidst the touristy buzz. I felt like a regular from the moment I stepped in. I would come back to Barcelona just to eat here and be welcomed by such a wonderful team of people.

Came here because of the high google ratings and was very happy with the food. The paella was absolutely delicious and they even catered for a gluten intolerance by changing the recipe of the fried octopus. Service was also very good. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was THE best restaurant we have had in Barcelona. The prices were so good and the quality of food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. And I have eaten at several other name brand restaurants in Barcelona and this was my favorite, honestly speaking! We got the razor clams, steamed mussels, fried squid tentacles, croquettes, and the Valenciana Paella 🥘 . All the tapas were delicious, and the paella was on another level! It was crispy on the edges and bottom, the toppings very well balanced, seasoning just right, and just a delight to eat! Paella and razor clams from other highly rated restaurants were much too salty, but El Nou Cafeti seasoned their food just right to bring out the natural flavors. Lastly, the service was so charming and personable. Thank you restaurant El Nou Cafeti! Edit: we went the next day before traveling out of Barcelona and got the razor clams again, grilled prawns, escalivada, and padron peppers. Again delicious. The prawns came out scalding and delightfully seasoned with a touch of salt. They even treated us to a shot of herbal and milk coffee shots for the road. I wish to visit this restaurant if I am ever back. Lovely!

Beautiful peeled seafood paella (much better than faffing peeling prawns) and more flavourful and large portion for 2 people. Lovely cod fritters, great house rose and white wine. Very special place and lovely waiters! A must visit despite it being a very unassuming area. Might look rough on the streets but the restaurant is charming and cute!! Complementary olives and digestif too

In this non assuming restaurant we had the tastiest paella we've had to date during our trip in Spain. Definitely recommend. Restaurant is located in a more sketchy side of town, hidden away from touristy area, short walk from the fat cat statue but the food and restaurant make up for it! Try the Clara drink, octopus and of course paella, super yum. Service is efficient and they gave us a liquor night cap. Also great prices. Thanks for the food !

The restaurant is very cozy, the service was very polite, and the food was impeccable! We ordered roasted fish, cod with garlic puree which was divine! The "batatas bravas" were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, delicious!! Now the dessert surprised and closed with a flourish: we ordered the "crema catalaña" and it was the best dessert we've ever had!

What sets this place apart from others, especially in this area so close to the tourist-packed zone, is the service and fair prices. It's almost a true relief to be so well treated and not feel like you are overpaying, or falling into another scam. The food is also excellent and worth trying, especially their specialty, the paellas. I believe it was around €14 per person for the seafood paella and €12 for a bottle of wine. We also had a nice surprise at the end with a complimentary liqueur.

Very nice and authentic spanish eatery located slightly away from the bustling of the la Ramblas walking street but still access by foot. Staff were very friendly and polite and treated us ( and everyone else) very well. Food was great. Atmosphere was awesome too. Will visit again if I'm in the area.

Best restaurant and experience in Barcelona! We came here to celebrate my birthday and the service and food was exceptional!! We started off with tapas - calamari, fried sardines, patatas bravas. We then ordered the peeled seafood paella (highly recommend, it's amazing and more flavorful for me), classic paella and our friend ordered the octopus. Everything was DELICIOUS, the servers were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made my birthday the BEST, with music, dancing and singing, I felt like a queen. They're desserts are also all homemade! The chocolate cake tastes almost like ice cream, cheesecake is great as well as their carrot cake. My friends and I passed the most wonderful time here and will happily be back when we visit Barcelona next! Thanks again to all the staff, you're amazing!

Este restaurante ofrece un menú del día económico y muy bueno. La fideuá, los huevos rotos y el bistec nos gustaron mucho. La crema catalana también es deliciosa. El flan de huevo no nos gustó tanto.

Restaurante de estilo clásico, con buena comida y muy bien ubicado, en el casco antiguo de Barcelona. Es un local de ambiente tranquilo, ideal para comer una tapas o el menú entre semana. Es popular tanto para clientes de la ciudad como turistas. La atención es muy buena. Recomiendo probar los arroces.
