Fue una cena en la terraza. Muy agradable. La vista tiene un ambiente diferente. Estás en el centro de BCN. El servicio muy atento y agradable. Es de agradecer. La comida estaba realmente buena. Tomamos un menú degustación de 9 platos. Sólo un pero, que lo solucionaron rápidamente. Al oscurecer, había poca luz en la mesa para ver lo que estabas comiendo. Enseguida nos trajeron una lámpara auxiliar que lo soluciono. Ideal para una cena romántica. La decoración del interior a mí me gustó mucho. Recomendable.

Casa de luz es el sitio perfecto para disfrutar de buenas vistas, buena comida, buen vino e increíbles cocteles, Gonzalo nos ofreció un servicio que fue mas allá de lo excelente, fue un placer conversar con el y compartir el momento, 11/10 recomiendo a cualquier persona visitar Casa Luz, Bitter Laura fue mi cocktail favorito

Increíble experiencia gastronómica. Cada plato es una explosión de sabor, elaborado con muchísimo cuidado y atención al detalle. El servicio fue impecable, muy amable y atento en todo momento. El lugar, además, tiene unas vistas espectaculares que hacen que la experiencia sea aún más especial. Si disfrutas de salir a descubrir propuestas culinarias de alta calidad, tienes que venir a Casa Luz. Sin duda, uno de los mejores restaurantes que he visitado en mi vida. ¡Volveré sin pensarlo!

Food was just wow. The bread was amazing and so was the squid. We did struggle to get service on a couple of occasions to flag missing items and get the bill. But the views were breathtaking and it was a great place to just relax. We were there for quite a few hours it all felt relaxed and lovely. One of my favourite experiences of barcelona and for that reason I've gone for the 5 star

We booked a table for our 13th Anniversary and the team made their best to make our experience memorable, from the reservation process they took care of everything and I knew i made the right choice. The food was gorgeous from starters to mains to the incredible sweets, with special mention to the cocktails and the amazing bree cheesecake... The setting, even tho was raining cats and dogs and we couldn't sit on the terrace they gave us a lovely table overlooking the square, decorated with candles. When the rain stopped we finished our wine outside in the balcony. Thanks to the host on duty and all the servers they truly made our anniversary special

Don’t listen to the bad review, this place is insane. We stumbled across this by staying at this hotel, thought we come to check it out. Amazing food (lick the plate type) & beautiful service. Food porn at it's best with the best night view of Universitat. Amazing this Brie cheesecake so creamy and nothing ever tasted like a cheese cake (not sweet, semi sweet!) but so OMG! Will come back for more!

An absolute gem. One of the most cozy terraces in town. I had a 10/10 cocktail, staff was very professional and friendly and overall I loved the atmosphere. Perfect lighting as well which is rather rare to find. I will definitely be back for dinner!

Superb experience! Charming staff, wonderful view above the plaza and one of the 10 best meals I've ever had! The tomato tartare was especially delightful, as were the lamb and the leek confit. LOVED the stuffed squid dish and regret not asking what it was stuffed with! Receipt says our server was Marietta, but that doesn't sound right, as he was a man? Regardless, he was the perfect amount of attentive and charming without being obtrusive.

Partimos de un menú para poder degustar distintos platos, que era correcto, y curiosamente fue espectacular la patata con judía tierna, butifarra y setas al igual que los postres. Eso sí, el servicio era lento, hay que ir con paciencia.

Bonita terraza en plena plaza Universitat! El sitio es encantador, la terraza muy bonita y agradable, merece la pena ir! La comida estaba bien, me gustó mucho el calamar relleno, pero los precios un poco elevados para la calidad. Tienen una carta de vinos muy extensa y de calidad. La tarta de queso de postre no me gustó. Aún así, muy recomendable!

Casa Luz is a charming spot with spectacular views and a surprisingly quiet location, considering it’s right in the middle of Barcelona. The cocktails and wine were excellent, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were very helpful and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. As for the food, most dishes were under-seasoned, oysters were okay but though the canelones and croquettes stood out as particularly good. Overall, Casa Luz is a great spot for drinks and enjoying the view, with attentive service, but the food may not be its strongest point.

We had a fantastic lunch at the rooftop restaurant of Hotel Casa Luz. The setting alone is worth the visit—lush plants, elegant ceramics, great lighting, and a relaxed vibe above the city. The dishes were creative and beautifully presented. We started with oysters on ice, crunchy croquetas, and smoked sardines on toast—each one delicious and thoughtful. The steak tartare was served with nasturtium leaves and a zesty relish, adding a fun interactive element. My companion wasn’t a fan of the rayfish dish, but I really enjoyed it—tender, bold sauce, paired with a silky puree. The only miss for us was dessert: a brie or camembert-style cheesecake that didn’t quite work, especially alongside a rich chocolate creation. Interesting idea, but the flavor balance was off. Service was friendly and pacing was spot-on. Overall, 4.5 stars. We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended if you’re into elevated yet relaxed dining with a view.

I had an incredible meal last night at Casa Luz! This place was actually recommended by friend that came all the way at from Germany, she visited it during the week and said “I need to eat there again before I leave Barcelona” The whole meal was absolutely delicious, we mostly had meat free dishes as my friend is a vegetarian. Best dishes of the night were the Tomato Tartar and the Confit Leak, both dishes are very very good! Top notch! For the first time ever, I tried a Canelón that actually tasted of something in Spain. The filling was very tasty for a Spanish canelón (I’ve never had good experiences with this dish in Spain). We ordered the 3 deserts available and they were all incredibly good! Not sure which one I would pick as my favorite, but as I’m writing this review I’ll say the cheesecake! The service wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t bad! Everyone was kind but I don’t know what felt wrong. The girl on the front desk looked kind of lost when we arrive (it may have been just a wrong perception on my part) Overall, very good place that I’ll recommend to all of my friends! I’ll definitely come back soon!!!

We'd booked a table a few weeks in advance and on the day of the booking I got a call to confirm, I found that rather nice. We got an amazing table (the hole place is amazing) with an astonishing view. The food was worth its price. And it is a pricey place 😅 the tuna and the meat were explendid and out hostess was very on top of things. Knew everything about everything in the menu and was super helpful. On what they could improve is of the cocktails. We wanted to have a cocktail after dinner but they were lacking staff for that. That itself is no problem but they said that they can make simple cocktails so we ordered two gin and tonics. It was the most blend and boring gt I've had and they went for 15 euro each. The issue is not the lack of staff and not even that that the gts were very simply made. It was the fact to charge 15 euros for such thing. My suggestion is to not serve at all or drop the price on them until you find a bartender

El que hubiera niños correteando en mi última visita en la sala no fue lo mejor, pero fue algo puntual y no es responsabilidad del restaurant... Aunque, sin embargo, el servicio no fue el habitual. Lo descubrimos hace tres años y fué una grata experiencia. Sus vistas, el servicio y sobre todo la calidad de la comida. Pero ayer día 02/01/26 repetimos y nos desilusionamos. El servicio mediocre, la comida ha bajado de nivel estrepitosamente, ya no tiene sabor, quizás han cambiado de chef. Lo que era una celebración fué un apuro. No volveremos, lastima por las magnificas vistas. De hecho solo dos mesas ocupadas, eso lo dice todo.

This is not the first time we've come here, and we love the whole concept of the menu. The experience is unmatched as the terrace is absolutely stunning, overlooking the centre of the city. However, I do have to call out one thing. We made the reservation and specifically underlined that we had people with nut allergies. Not only did the menu not indicate the allergens certain food options have, but even when we mistakenly ordered the cheesecake (the recipe was apparently changed and now it had almonds), the waiter did not mention any of that at the time we placed the order. It was only after we had tried it and noted some differential nutty notes that they confirmed there were almonds in the cheesecake. This is definitely something to work on, as it could be potentially very dangerous depending on the level of allergy each person might have. In our case, it wasn't that bad; nonetheless, you can't have this type of experience in relation to allergens in any restaurant.

Do not get fooled by the high reviews. We stayed at the hotel as guest, which was a remarkable experience. The restaurant runs separately from the hotel. High price for mediocre food. Teníamos reserva para el día lunes en la terraza a las 21:30, llegamos 20 minutos antes y la camarera nos indica que por temas lluvia no podía darnos mesa en terraza (1 NO LLOVÍA 2 TENÍAN UNA MESA GRANDE EN EN UNA DE LAS TERRAZAS Y EN LA OTRA HABÍAN VARIAS MESAS, TOTAL ACEPTAMOS LA MESA QUE NOS DAN) eran las 21:45 y aún no teníamos carta en la mesa, el restaurante no estaba tan lleno como para ir tan desordenados y tienen bastantes camareros.
