Un restaurante chiquitito y acogedor. Los platillos nos sorprendieron gratamente todos. Compartimos entre dos, los calçots en tempura, las minizanahorias al horno y la pasta rellena, que es una de sus especialidades. De postre, espectaculares la espuma de crema catalana y el coulant de pistacho. El servicio, muy atento, a pesar de estar a tope. Si le buscamos un pero, las mesas estan muy juntas unas de otras por cuestion de espacio, pero esta muy bien llevado por los profesionales que trabajan alli. Repetiremos seguro. Un 10

Hemos cenado y la verdad que estaba todo muy bueno, si le pondría una pega sería por la cantidad que son raciones pequeñas, nos a gustado mí y por los sabores y los contrastes como anchoas con diferentes salsas de queso y , después la ensaladilla rusa con huevo frito y atún marinado, bocadillo de calamares con salsa en su tinta y salsa quinchi. También secreto ibérico brasa rico y sabroso, de postre culan de pistacho con helado de yogur. Todo muy rico.

Este lugar es brutal! Hacia tiempo que no comía tan bien, comimos: pulpo, tataki de atún que fue lo más TOP (los torreznos que pegan con todo) y ensalada de burrata, de postres: la crema catalana y pastel de queso. Todo estuvo delicioso, sus mezclas de sabores, texturas, una exquisitez suprema, por poner una pega.. los platos son bastante pequeños para mi gusto por el precio. Volveré seguro porque las sensaciones fueron maravillosas y el servicio es una maravilla, el chico q nos atendió fue super simpatiquisimo. Lugar super TOP!!!

Dejo 5* porque estoy contento al final y como va ahora no haces un favor al restaurante dejando 4*, y el servicio fue muy bueno pero las raciones un poco justas y me ha dolido el pan con mantequilla a 8€ , 3 trozos de pan que parecia del Origo pero descongelado , supongo que porque es domingo. Al final repetiré seguramente por la amabilidad del personal y la qualidad de la comida Hemos gastado 160€ a 3, y nos hemos ido contentos, que es lo que importa

Local con encanto, muy buen ambiente, la comida increíble. Probamos unas alcachofas trufadas que nos hicieron llorar, unos rollitos de butifarra exquisitos i un canelón celestial. La carta de vinos muy selecta. El personal muy amable y eficiente. Una maravilla

Pure perfection! You all know how rich Barcelona's food scene is, yet we felt the need to come here 3 times during our vacation. Together with some friends we went through about half the menu during our visits combined and I loved everything - the meat has always been cooked to perfection, the sauces were outstanding and the combinations pure happiness. The Black Angus ribs, the pasta with ox tail stew, the cap i pota, the tuna Tataki or the calamari with creamy fois were some of the stars and were all exquisite. The staff is great, helpful and they all work very well together. Congratulations to everybody!

This is a must check-out near the busy shopping streets Passeig de Gracia and Avenue Diagonal! The food is great, delicious and comes with a decent variety of diet (meat, seafood, vegetarian, vegan). The pan-fried octopus with rice and squid ink croquettes are very delicious (only beware of the black stains on the lips later). The service is impeccable: friendly, fast and professional. The lovely waiter and waitress gave us really good wine recommendations. I always come here whenever I travel to Barcelona and will certainly come back! P.S: please bring back the tortilla with cod fish 🙏🏻

Made a reservation for two at 1:00pm. Server saw us waiting outside a few minutes prior and welcomed us with a smile as soon as it was time. He apologized for not speaking English too well, which made me feel sad/guilty because I’m the one who’s sorry for not speaking more Spanish … in SPAIN. Anyway, he explained the special menu of the day and we decided to order the steak, along with the patatas bravas and ravioli from the usual menu. We weren’t sure if that was enough food for two, but the waiter warmly assured us it would be, and it was!! We were stuffed buuuuuuuut we couldn’t resist ordering dessert as there were many google reviews that mentioned their crème brûlée. I’m so glad we tried it because I was initially worried it’d be too sweet/heavy. They put their own twist to it and balanced the sweetness with some tartness from the sorbet at the bottom. Delicious!! One thing that was misunderstood/miscommunicated was the cheese that was served alongside the steak. I assumed it was part of that particular dish, but it was charged as a separate dish when the bill came. It’s not a big deal, but we wouldn’t have ordered it had we known. We loved the dishes we tried and had a wonderful experience, but I would’ve preferred not to have wasted it. This is a very specific instance in which knowing the language more fluently would’ve been helpful. Regardless, we both enjoyed our time at Santa Gula. Thank you!!

Best meal we had in Barcelona!!! Food and service was fantastic. Our favorite dishes were beef tartare, homemade raviolis with prawns and mushrooms, eggplant, and crème brûlée. Definitely make the time to come here (and make a reservation!)

You enter this place and you immediately feel at home. As if entering somebody’s house; hospitality is as you would expect from such a place: kind and genuine. Food is superb. Tuna tataki is out of this world. Ravioli is delicious as well. I also liked the eggplant dish but more sauce would make it even better.

Although we did not have a reservation, the staff sincerely took care of us. We tasted very delicious food. If you dream of a light dinner, you should definitely stop by. We tried different parts of the menu including starter, main course and dessert and we liked them. The food portions are like fine dining restaurants, moderate.

Simply, probably, the best food I've ever eaten. For entries: the grilled leek with almonds, Iberian ham croquettes, and the artichokes are unbelievably good. Main courses: the lamb with wheat risotto, and the ravioli with prawn, mushrooms and parmesan sauce left us with no words... Kudos to the brazilian waitress, Thalia, who was impeccable and gave us the recommendations.

Recommended by friend, and we arrived at late lunch hour, waited a table for like 10 minutes with a bottle of beer just outside. We love this little restaurant. Dishes are exceptional with a reasonable price. Service is great but just be patient and don't be afraid to contact them since this place is usually busy and full loaded. Just come at the right time, you will have a homecoming Catalan gastronomie experience.

I stumbled upon this place as I was staying just down the road at Hotel Astoria and was looking for a dinner spot. I am so glad I found Santa Gula! I loved the small, cozy vibe and the food was absolutely delicious - the flavors were overwhelmingly delightful. I was savoring every bite. My server, who was so friendly and helpful, recommended the ravioli with prawn and mushrooms as well as the tuna tataki. Both were outstanding. He also recommended to start with the bread with tomato sauce and flaky salt - very yummy. I can’t wait to come back to this place the next time I’m in Barcelona.

Si estas por el centro de Barcelona recomiendo este sitio. Tanto la terraza como el interior son muy agradable y el servicio muy agil. Ideal para ir con grupo pequeño de amigos. Recomiendo la tortilla abierta con gambas, los tortelini con gambas y salsa de foie y el steak tartar. El mejor postre el coulant de pistacho. Recomendable

El sitio es muy acogedor y la ubicación es fantástica. El servicio muy amable y atento. La carta es variada y se sale de lo típico. No obstante, los precios nos parecieron elevados.. cometimos el error de no preguntar los precios de los platos fuera de carta. Y para nuestra sorpresa, unos huevos rotos con setas de temporada nos costaron 25€. Los postres también caros. El sitio es recomendable pero la próxima seleccionaremos mejor los platos para no llevarnos un susto.

Es la segunda vez que vamos al restaurante. El ambiente es agradable y el servicio es bueno. 🥔: las bravísimas están muy buenas. La salsa no llega muy bien al fondo y no es fácil de mezclar. Pican ligeramente (como tiene que ser). 🍆: las berenjenas ahumadas no nos encantaron. Creo que el plato ganaría más si no estuviese ahumado sino de otra forma. 🐂: espectaculares las croquetas de rabo de toro. 🥩: la costilla está cocinada a baja temperatura y está riquísima. Viene cortada, lo cual la hace fácil de compartir. La salsa es del propio jugo de la carne. 🍫: el tiramisú no nos sorprendió tanto, aunque estaba bueno. 🥄: el coulant de pistacho es maravilloso, de los mejores postres que yo haya probado. Como apunte, se agradecería tener un par de platos más “estándares”. Mis padres son algo más clásicos con la comida y no les suelen gustar las salsas, o propuestas asiáticas, etc. La mayoría de platos tienen algo “diferente”. Entiendo que es la propuesta del restaurante y es lo que les hace especiales, pero sería algo más fácil coinciliar la comida con gente un poco más básica en cuanto a lo culinario.

Todo estaba muy bueno, a resaltar sus raviolis y su coulant de pistacho,.... sublimes. Igual q el servicio, muy atento y simpáticos en todo momento. Por poner un pero es q es un poco caro por la cantidad q ponen, pero vale la pena probar si pasas por ahí. Volvería expresamente, no sinceramente... pero si estoy por la zona pues seguramente.

A small and local restaurant. The food is generally good. I ordered a meat sandwich that had seasoned meat and bread. The meat was too salty. It was difficult to finish it considering how salty it was although the portion was small. Overall it's a good place and the food is generally good.

We were 8 and ordered many tapas. The food was great that made me forget to take pictures on several dishes 😅. The croquettes were top and it a must eat, la tortilla was original and tasty as well. We got a recommendation from the staff which was ravioli (don’t remember about the filling) but it was really appetising. The sauce melted in my mouth and flavour was smooth. The overall experience was impressive!

Para nosotros ha muy sido decepcionante, después de ver las valoraciones hemos creado una espectativas que no se han cumplido. Hemos pedido 4 platos y la verdad nos han parecido reguleros. No voy a entrar en detalles, porque tampoco quiero ensañarme, pero nos ha faltado cariño en la elaboración y sobretodo personalidad. Ha sido uno más que quedará en el olvido, sin destacar en absolutamente nada de lo que hemos probado. A parte hemos pasado bastante calor y si más, a otro lado otro día.

Edit: now after eating here I got a symptoms of food intoxication. Seems like they have poor hygienic standards. They served me extremely undercooked rice, which was inedible, so I could not even finish the dish. Believe me, I really despise overcooked rice and prefer my rice dishes (for example if a "rice pilaf" is overcooked it is considered a spoiled dish in my national cuisine, no matter how good the meat, vegetable and spice combination are) always "al dente" as Italians say...but what they served me was completely undercooked rice with only a two pieces of seafood (tasted burnt, I rejected eating it) in it! - for such a high price. Waiter didn't even ask what's the problem was nor apologized. Spanish potatoes was bland and underseasoned, no salt and red sauce was tasteless. The service from short black-haired woman was really bad. The place is small, and local spaniards sit here and talk too loud and annoying, they almost scream at each other.
