The Diamond Horseshoe restaurant is a visit back to the Old West. You’re dining near a stage with a player piano in a Music Hall located in Frontierland, and the meal here could be something served back in the olden days during the holidays. This is indeed a grand feast. 🐴 You’ll start with a salad, moving to the main meal of pot roast, smoked pork loin, and roasted turkey. Your sides are seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and home-made macaroni & cheese. This is like a buffet, except your server will bring the all-you-care-to-enjoy food to your table. My friends rave about their salad and mac&cheese. I enjoy the meats with the stuffing, which sort of tastes and feels like Thanksgiving dinner. They have other options, like a plant based meatloaf, but personally, I’ve never liked any of that. 🐴 Let’s get to my very favorite part of the meal. Dessert. You’re going to get a frying pan size helping of Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake, which is vanilla toffee cake, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce. Holy moly, you won’t believe how good this tastes. It’s the best dessert anywhere on Disney property, IMO. Pro Tip: order dessert first. It’s AYCE, so first or last, you’re paying for it. Ask for dessert first and also at the end. 🐴 $45 per adult, $24 per child (Disney counts anyone ages 3-9 as a child.) and then add tax and tip. This costs less than other Disney AYCE style meals, although an entry ticket to Magic Kingdom is required. And obviously, you have to spend part of your theme park ride-riding time in a restaurant. Bathroom score: 🌟🌟 Because this building was built as “The Diamond Horseshoe Review,” a song and dance show on that aforementioned stage, there is no bathroom inside the restaurant. You walk outside to the public restroom. It’s not a far walk, but people act like animals in restrooms these days. Our wait staff has always been outstanding here- top of their game. 🐴You’ll really enjoy your meal here. Dessert first- thank me later.

One of our favorite family style full service food options at Magic Kingdom park! Great also for special holidays like 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day dinner. All you can eat style roast and mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, etc. Cool colonial style theatre and plenty of open seating for great views. Bonus: the dessert here (all good shared with Liberty Tree Tavern) is BEST dessert on Disney property: warm chocolate chip cookie topped with heath bar and vanilla ice cream. So good! :)

If you're looking for the best value of all you care to enjoy dining within Magic Kingdom, this is it. It's a family style meal and the food is all pretty good and the service is fantastic. Keep in mind the Liberty Tree Tavern next door serves the same menu so either is a good option.

So much food, I was stuffed. All was good but unexpected, never dreamed that much food would be placed on my table. I would have enjoyed spiced up more but know that Disney has to cater to masses of people so the majority of the food served tends to be bland. I thought it was fair price for lunch. Servers were prompt, friendly, and attentive. Last time I was in here there was entertainment and it had been rarely open for so long.

Nov update: so great during the holidays. Great food, amazing dessert, waiter Jeffrey added to the fun experience. Orig: Family style turkey, roast beef, pork, and all the trimmings with all you care to eat. Meats very tender but some a bit over-salted. Salad dressing only one choice (house) and very plain. Wonderful dessert so save some room! Beautiful decor for the holidays. Awesome waitress.

I had a wonderful dinner here with my family. It was just like having a home made meal of turkey or roast beef with mash potatoes and gravy. Plus if you want just more just ask. I found it to be worth the price. Also the service was good and they even sat us early.

This restaurant ended up being one of the kids' favorites over the course of a week on the Disney Deluxe Dining plan. While the food could have been just a little more flavorful, our server Claire made up for it with a constant smile and easy-going attentiveness. I never ran out of beer, the kids never ran out of tea, and the food kept coming. The open dining room was the perfect size and wasn't overwhelming like some of the venues.

THIS IS THE BEST DISNEY SECRET! Okay, so it's not a secret. If there is Liberty Room overflow, you can come eat here. It is the same family style meal as served next door, but in a more intimate setting. I had the pleasure of eating Thanksgiving dinner here and it was wonderful. The staff was VERY attentive and if you wanted more of anything, they were happy to bring that right to you in just a few minutes! My friend and I loved the Mac and Cheese SO much that they gave us the recipe! Meals are around 30/pp (fixed menu) but totally worth it. 3 course meal for 30 at Disney? Deal.

We loved this place. Everything was homemade, even the chipotle ranch dressing on the salad and the mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese was delicious. I loved the Mexican cornbread that they served with a flavored butter spread. It was all you can eat and the servers were incredible. She realized I loved the salad dressing and brought me a side of it too. They never let us get low on anything. I will certainly go back.

Everything was so fresh! Everything was delicious! We really enjoyed ourselves, and Barb sat is at a beautiful table, she was so nice! This is a great value in Disney! All you can eat! Perfect to squash that hunger that builds up after a whole day at the park. They do take walk ins, but they close at 7 so come early. We where here at 4 and had no problem getting a table.

We just had a great family meal at The Diamond Horseshoe at the Magic Kingdom. The meal was standard BBQ family style dinner that was spot on. Brisket was tender, Chicken was juicy, Pork was flavorful, and my son who is the expert on Mac and Cheese said it was the best ever. Our server Russ put it over the top with the best attentiveness and made us feel like family. The restaurant as my wife stated is "A hidden jewel". This is our new go to place at MK.

Beautiful indoor, seated, dining. The food was good, traditional American and the pricing wasn't unreasonable for the portions compared to some of the other restaurants to choose from. Without a reservation we received a private table when the restaurant opened (recommend eating lunch at this time to avoid long waits) and the service was excellent. For the price, getting the all-you-can sampler meal was the way to go and fed more than one person. If you're in Liberty Square, highly recommend!

Currently finishing up our meal and experience. Was great all around. Service was nice but not overly exaggerated. Best theme park food around so far. These foods aren’t meant to be extravagant or low budgeted. It is Disney so it’s priced accordingly and the food didn’t taste like recooked frozen foods. We would eat here again for sure.

Difficult to get a dining spot pretty much anywhere at Disney. We used the dining "now" search and got in at Diamond Horseshoe (DH). At first, we thought $39 was expensive but really its a bargain - even the kids price at $21. The food was excellent all around and the beef pot roast a favorite. You could not get a fresher and more delicious salad and the desert was fantastic. Coffee and other drinks were included in the price and it was ALL YOU CAN EAT! In all, dining at DH was the one of the highlights of our day at Magic Kingdom. Oh and yes the service was great and our pleasure being served by Monica. RECOMMENDED!

It was very filling, the salads were great and the vegan options were great Daniel was our server and he was great, by the time we left every member of our family was docile and happy (so hopefully no arguments) the dessert was fantastic.

We got reservations for lunch and really enjoyed the food and our waiter, Saeed. We ordered the Saloon Feast and the meats were tender, juicy, and delicious. Really liked the bbq sauce. The mashed potatoes were real and very buttery. No complaints.

This was probably my favorite in park full service meal I had! Great baked beans and pulled pork. Family style provided lots of meats and sides. Service was GREAT! We had an amazing waiter who also gave us some Park tips. This is a smallish restaurant so it wasn’t loud, wasnt crowded, and the AC was bumpin!

I can't believe this place has less than a 4 star overall. So the wait was longer than told but it's Disney and way too many people here. The food is definitely superb including the items from the allergy menu.

We always look for something satisfying when we are doing a full day at Disney. Yesterday we took a chance and tried The Diamond Horseshoe. We were cautiously optimistic after reading online reviews. Our family of 4 enjoyed this meal so much! We are right at 1:00pm when they opened. We ordered the saloon feast for our family. We were excited about having all you can eat - family style at the table. The meal started with a potato salad, a watermelon salad, and a mixed greens salad with a honey vinegar dressing. Due to a watermelon allergy we asked them not to bring the watermelon salad to the table. The waiter explicitly told us that the potato sald contained jalapenos and that it might be spicy. Spicy is not an issue for our family, that being said, except for the few slivers of fresh jalapenos we didn't notice the spice. The potato salad was very good. We LOVED the mixed greens salad. We also enjoyed the cornbread and jalapeno butter. This was not really spicy at all. Our 4 year old ended up eating it off his bread. The main course was a mix of beef brisket, grilled chicken thighs and pulled pork. This was served with a little extra BBQ sauce on the side. Then the sides brought out were corn on the cob, coleslaw, baked beans and mac n cheese. All of it was delicous, our favorites were the chicken and the pulled pork. The sides were good too. Everyone ate so much! Dessert was brought out as a slice of chocolate cake, berry tart and a peach cobbler cheesecake. My husband and our 4 year old loved the berry tart and our daughter ate the chocolate cake. And I really LOVED the peach cheesecake. The beat part of this whole experience was pur waiter Russ! He did such a great job taking care of our dynamic table! Things to keep in mind. The saloon feast is 36 per adult (10 and older), 20 for kids 3-9, and no charge for 2 and under. There is no sweet tea only unsweet tea. They do have lemonade and soft drinks. These are included in the price of the feast. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation as this restaurant is a smaller venue so seating is at a premium. There is a lot is space between tables, so you aren't bumping chairs with everyone. Also, I would not recommend this for a party bigger than 8, unless you are okay sitting close, at different tables. Overall, we will be back!!!

The truth is this is basically Liberty Tree restaurant except with a different ambiance. It is a good all you can eat comfort food experience. I think this is one of the better all you can eat places at Disney for the price.

This was our favourite meal of our entire Disney World trip! The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the family style serving. We loved everything - the salad, the meat selections, the sides, and the decadent toffee cake to finish it all off. Our server was incredible, and the manager was gracious and kind to us after we had to wait longer than our reservation time to be seated. A must try for your next trip!

Great experience at this restaurant after a rocky start because of some schedule delays they made it up to us (thanks Brandon for an amazing customer service experiencie) and the food was AMAZING, the pot roast and the mashed potatoes were definitely exquisite, though everything served was worth it. The drinks were great too. Perfect place to celebrate my bday! We understand that sometimes things might not go as planned but at the end of the day what matters is how the restaurant reacts to it and Brandon definitely went all the way to make up for it and turn the experience into a great one. Thank you so much!

I had lunch not the buffet. Our server was very nice. Got there before our reservation we were seated early. Food came out quickly. Place got really crowded real fast. Such a cute atmosphere. Bbq was great. Good portion size for a theme park as much as you would get outside at a bbq restaurant. I personally didnt love the mac&cheese. I ate it all but it could have cheesier but it is good for a general public mass quantity and kids. The cornbread had a good kick(thats why I was surprised the mac was bland tasting)and bbq pork and sauce were excellent. On a hot day 2 people can split this one plate

This place is actually depressing, but the food is good This place used to have a show where they had the cancan dancers. They got rid of it for whatever reason I’m sure it’s a Disney crazy thing however, the restaurant still exists it is beautiful, but it’s sad what they’ve done with that history and that culture being removed of a time back in the old western days when that was the kind of entertainment men would get in a bar restaurant. The food was good. The service was good not great. It was good for a big family. This is a good way to eat, the food was healthy and plenty of it. They bring it out to your table and you just eat like a pig.

We decided to try this place on 7/3 and are so glad we did! Neat atmosphere that is kid-friendly and fun. They sat us in a raised corner table by the stage which was very kind for everyone. Our waiter was excellent and great with the kids. The food was all very good, served family-style. Best of all they served a separate family style portion that was gluten-free and my child loved it! After a long and hot day at Magic Kingdom we highly recommend this restaurant.

Literally the best meal we've had so far in Disney. All the food was great, but the roast was amazing. So tender and flavorful. I've never wanted to try salad with fruit in it, but we did, and we loved it! Mac and cheese, so good! Dessert, OMG! Our waiter Rad was awesome, very attentive...right on top of things. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and friendly staff.

This place is great, I bet it's one of the best Disney restaurants. They have a made menu that they can turn vegan or adapt if you have any allergy. The food is delicious. The place is beautiful and goes so well with Magic Kingdom vibes. The waiter Daniel was super kind to us and we could see really cares about veggie people not having problems or eating the wrong thing.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful venue! Great option if you're looking for an all-you-can-eat that isn't as over the top (and expensive) as Be Our Guest or Cinderella's. The staff were friendly and attentive. Jeffrey was our waiter and he was amazing. Really great value, in my opinion!

It was a great place for food and for us to get in and out. No reservation and they were able to seat us within 5 minutes. The food was incredible and we felt it was a fair price for how much we were served. The brisket, stuffing, and salad were extra yummy. All around it was fantastic and Pedro was a wonderful server! We will definitely be back.

Nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly servers and a great meal. My recommendation is to make reservations. Watch the times, though, because parades can make it hard to get in due to the heavy foot traffic. Enjoy.

Wonderful experience! Our waitress Laila was so friendly, funny and attentive. The food is delicious, you will not leave hungry in fact plan a short rest after to recover 😂 the ooey gooey toffee cake dessert was so good that despite being near food coma we could not step away from it! Highly recommend if you really like to eat!! Big appetite required! Also really beautifully decorated at Christmas time. If you're starving, don't bother with a few chicken tenders at quick dine. Go eat the feast!

This place is a true hidden gem at the Magic Kingdom. We went for lunch, just wandering about when we noticed the Diamond Horseshoe. It was just after 12 so it was prime lunch time. There were people in there but it wasn't busy by any means. We were the only group with a toddler and they gave us the table up at stage level to the side. It was fantastic. The service, the food, everything. Our server, Bruce, was incredible. Super friendly, attentive, helpful, everything you want in a server. The food was a great surprise. From the salad and cornbread starter to the family style platter. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the corn on the cob. It tasted like it was boiled and I'm just not a fan of it that way. Nothing wrong with it though. I really just don't think people know about this place or how the all-you-can-eat family style service works. We just tried it on a whim and we'll definitely be going back.

This day had been less then magical. I was unable to ride flight of passage due to my legs not fitting (other things happened on the way out that made things a little worse). The cast did what they could and guest services helped as well. After while I made my way to magic kingdom and took a tumble.... I was feeling wonderful about myself at this point. I eventulay i made my way to Tron and found again that my legs were going to stop me from riding normally. My self-esteem again took a hit again. I visited guest services and they did thier thing and go meet sorted. At this point I was feeling low and was planning on going back to my hotel after my reservation at the Diamond horseshoe. My waitress saw I was not looking great and ask me what was going on. I don't why I did, but laid out the day thus far. Well she wasn't going to let this stand and unbeknownest went to speak to her manager and between them went out of thier way to turn my day around. It wasn't necessary in my opinion but that's why I said the went out thier way. That was the start of turn around because as I walked out of the restraunt the first firework for happly ever after went off. I thought I was going to miss it. Thank you Lauren and Amber for turn the day around!

Located in the heart of Magic Kingdom, the Diamond Horseshoe is perfect for an evening dinner! The employees are so darn nice and hospitable. Our meal was brought out fresh and ready to eat. And let me tell you how absolutely mouth watering everything was. The famous self playing piano was a lovely touch to the old fashioned atmosphere and truly made this culinary experience even more pleasant. The bread rolls, salad, mac n’ cheese, potatoes, gravy, selection of meats, green beans and a toffee dessert topped off our practically perfect Disney day!

Great restaurant. I thought I was going to eat bland amusement park food and have a real meal later. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband had the brisket. My daughter had the grilled chicken. The meat was delicious, tender, and had a ton of flavor. Combine that with the best sangria I've ever tasted and you had a parent that did not want to leave. The staff made the experience even better. Thank you Michaela, Caroline, and our wonderful waitress from Orlando. You were the cherry on top of a busy day in the park.

I only went there since this was the only available restaurant that I was able to reserve. But what a surprise!! Great home/family style food that resembles somewhat of a thanksgiving dinner (turkey, brisket, gravy, mashed potato, stuffings, etc). Although I am not a big fan of a traditional meal like this, it surely was one of the best I had recently. Also you will get unlimited refills although they give you plenty from the beginning. Great value for $35. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the servers were extremely friendly. Absolutely loved it!

I had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Comfortable air conditioning. It was almost 100° outside. It was a very nice spot we found after almost going to a fish and chips spot that didn't offer seating first. A problem with these parks and the eateries are a lot of them serve you food, get your money and then have you looking for a free table or to share one with others. It's sometimes awkward and uncomfortable. Like the fish and chips spot would've been. The diamond horseshoe was perfect. A cool spot to sit down for a while and cool off while eating a great meal. Also loved the soft cherry cheesecake dessert. Great service from a very pleasant and informative lady. I wish I remembered her name but she was great.

Fantastic family style dining experience located in the heart of Liberty Town. Our server was wonderful, always asking if everything was ok and offered to bring out more of anything our hearts desired. The toffee cake dessert was melt in your mouth delicious. And the pineapple dole whip drink was so scrumptious! Definitely a favorite spot to dine in Disney!

Oh my goodness….the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake is the absolute best! This was our very first visit to The Diamond Horseshoe. We were limited on reservations due to our planning but there was availability at this restaurant. This place had very good food and was a fun atmosphere. The servers was extremely busy as they seemed a bit understaffed the day we were there but this didn’t stop them from providing exceptional service. I need to read a bit more about this restaurant’s previous life because it was clear there was more there at one time. The theme of the restaurant and the location seems like a previous life would have been a ton of fun. We are looking forward to visiting this restaurant again. I can’t wait to have the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake again. I think for our lunch meal I will go for the Saloon Feast. I don’t think you can go wrong with this menu. I could be wrong but I think it is served family style and I know you can not go wrong with that. *****Roasted Turkey, Pennsylvania Pot Roast, and Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni & Cheese.*****

This is some great food. The stuffing, salad, mashed potatoes, and green beans were just fantastic. The rolls, meat, bread, and Mac and cheese were good. Server was great. The Diamond Horseshoe is connected to Liberty Tree Tavern and shares the same family style, all you can eat menu. Rolls and salad to start. Next up is the turkey, roast beef and pork platter with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and mac and cheese. What about dessert you ask? Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake, delicious!!! This evening Liberty Tree Tavern was booked solid, but we were able to get on the walk-up wait-list for Diamond Horseshoe in the Disney app and received a text in about 15 minutes that our table was ready.

I have to say they took very good care of me here and the food was delicious the pot roast was my favorite and I loved everything but that pot roast was divine

Claire was a wonderful waitress, made the whole experience magical. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The mac and cheese was amazing, as were the green beans. Fast and Fantastic and definitely worth the price. We loved listening to the self playing piano, and we can’t wait to get home and try Claire’s famous bean salad!

It was good. The food was good, and the self-playing piano was going when we arrived. The server that served us was kind and funny.

Thanksgiving dinner served family style! This restaurant in Magic Kingdom shares a restaurant and a menu with Liberty Tree Tavern. The food is always very good and the teeming is on point with an old west saloon in Frontierland. They have a player piano that regularly plays a song but there is also background theme music that adds to the ambiance. Daniel was an excellent server and took extra good care of us!. If you are in Magic Kingom and looking for a nice place to sit down in the air conditioner while having a nice meal, consider making a reservation for the Diamond Horseshoe. Soft drinks are included in the per person price, but they also serve adult beverages priced separately.

JEFFERY WAS AWESOME! We had the pleasure of celebrating my Mother in Laws Birthday and our server was amazing. He greeted us with such kindness and a big GO BILLS! when he saw my Jacket. The water came to the table so quickly and followed by my Sam Adams Boston Lager which my the way was fresh and delicious. The salad was perfectly dressed and the garlic bread is hard not to fill up on. Then the meal arrived. Pot Roast, Turkey, Pork Roast, Mashed Potatoes and green beans. The stuffing is perfect and save room for the most ridiculously decadent desert of sweet heaven. I decided to not watch the fireworks and chat with Jeffery for a minute while enjoying the skillet of cookie craziness in front of me. I loved everything about this meal from the greeting at the front door to the final good bye. Thank you to the Chef's in the kitchen that prepared this amazing meal for us.

Maybe nothing special for atmosphere, BUT we loved the unlimited food and great service! Our first ever Disney experience for family of 5, and day 1 was magic kingdom. Our kids were wiped by 4:30pm and this was the only “reservation” we could get last minute as an early sit down dinner. We were able to get a much needed a cold beer for us parents and we loved the food for being actually fairly healthy and hearty. Excellent service, I would definitely do this again if we visit DW again!

It was a great experience and atmosphere with a 3 course meal that is almost like Thanksgiving each and every time! Also want to appreciate our server Daniel who did a great job and i would recommend him highly! In my opinion it’s one of the best meals in the park and you get your moneys worth. Overall a great experience and highly recommended!

I usually eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern next door, but they were all booked so I tried the Diamond Horseshoe. The place is basically just one wide open room and when I was there by myself, they sat me at a table for 5 in the middle of the room, which just felt uncomfortable. Kinda like the kid who sits alone in the cafeteria at school because they have no friends. The food and staff are great, but I will go back to the Liberty Tree Tavern for a much more cozy feel (and its the exact same food)

This is probably the best value for money for lunch. All-you-eat family style meal. The bread is okay but the entree was great. The Pot Roast, Turkey and Pork were all cooked well. Stuffing and mashed potatoes were spot on. It’s nice to get away from burgers, chicken tenders and fries! The Toffee Cake was amazing and the start of the meal! Service was super friendly and accommodating. Offering refills of food. The only reason I give Atmosphere a 3 Star is because you can tell it used to be much better when there was live performances (instead of an automated piano) and if they sat people upstairs. Overall good value for Disney. Pack in the food for lunch and all you will need is a light dinner from quick service window.

I was torn about coming to this restaurant because the reviews were very mixed. I was very concerned when I first arrived because we waited 30 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations. Not to mention when we were finally seated by Allen, he took us to a table for 6 instead of my party of 10, then he refused to simply add extra chairs and insisted that we needed to wait even longer till something else was available. I immediately called for management because I could not believe he wasn’t accommodating us. The manager came and did exactly what Allen said we couldn’t do, add extra chairs. Thank you management! Luckily Claire swooped in and our experience made a 360 degree turn. We loved this restaurant because of HER, and only because of her. The food was delicious, but her personality, her attentiveness and caring nature is what will make us come back. We went with the all you can eat barbecue , it was nothing short of delicious! The cornbread and the dessert are so good, you wanna eat it till you throw up, literally. The atmosphere is like a real nice saloon, really authentic. I’d give it a solid 4 stars. My party of 10 (3 of them were infants) ate for $300. For all you can eat, I don’t think that was bad at all.

Located right in Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square - this is a family style all you can eat restaurant with some seriously adorable themeing. I made reservations in advance and I'm glad I did because it was very busy at the time and is clearly a popular place in Disney to great lunch and dinner. Salad and dinner rolls start the meal off which were both very delicious. We went for the plant based options and so got an impossible beatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and a mushroom gravy. Once you have had all you can of that, dessert comes. We tried both the plant based option as well as the dessert that came with ice cream. Both of the desserts were good but I personally preferred the plant based apple crisp as I thought the oooey gooey one was a bit too sweet. I liked the food but it certainly wasn't my favorite overall. Very glad for the plant based options though and our server was very friendly and made sure we were well cared for.

The Diamond Horseshoe. Located inside Disney's Magic Kingdom. A chance for all you can eat BBQ. Not bad for theme park food and beats the quick service places to eat. Not the cheapest at $35 a person but a good alternative. Great service!!

We love Disney but this was not one of our favorite eating places the food was just OK. The stuffing really did not taste like good stuffing. The pot roast was not good either it was more like shredded beef instead of like a traditional pot roast. The rest of the food was OK but not for the price. Once they bring the food out unless you eat really fast, the food gets cold on the table. It would be much better if they just had the food served as a buffet so that you could go back and forth at your leisure the service was good, but it just could not make up for the taste of the food and the food being cold once you stop eating, the rolls were good and the salad was good unfortunately this would be our first and last time at the diamond unless they change the format.

The servers were very nice, but the initial service was slow. We waited, probably 10 minutes for drink orders. Once we were seen, the food arrived pretty quickly, and they were able to accommodate my wife's special diet. The food was good, especially the pot roast. They serve alcohol at this venue. I wish they still had the live show, or at least the player piano actually worked. Overall, it's good, but I don't think it meets the level of expectation.

Disappointing. This restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is one of the worst in the park. The decor was bland, and the only entertainment was a self playing piano. The service was good and got us in quickly, and appointed to allergies. The food served here is not good. All of the food was bland, especially the Mac n cheese, the rolls, and the chicken. However, the Toffee cake for dessert was great. Overall, would recommend other options in the Magic Kingdom like Skipper Canteen and Tony’s Town Square. Do not go to this restaurant.

This meal was really just ok. Everyone at the table ordered the endless platter as it was our only real meal for the day. The cornbread was really good, but it was cold which was a bummer. The only thing that everyone enjoyed was the chicken and macaroni (and we are not picky eaters). So I would suggest getting the chicken platter. The desserts were once again just ok, nothing really spectacular about them the chocolate cake was pretty dry. I wont say that anything was outright bad (except maybe the sausages) but it was not really good either. I think you could probably find something better on property for around the same amount. I will say that they were very accommodating as someone in front of us was two hours late for their reservation and they were still seated.

SAME menu as Liberty Tavern so if one is booked try the other! The quality of the food has seemed to slip as it is now very salty especially the pot roast like a lot of Disney restaurants it has gone downhill somewhat.... the service is good but they need to step up the quality

Visited on Christmas day 2024 after much deliberating. 30 minute wait after our booking time. Disappointing service from Rey. Lovely at first then vanished. Left looking round to seek service. Turkey good rest was ok. Order as much as you can enjoy it said. Not the case. Service so slow I believe in a bid to turn people over. Would we go again. No. Was it worth $44 each. Not at all.

Inattentive service. Our waitress stopped by our table when and only when necessary. She literally checked on us once after the kitchen brought our food out after she greeted us and brought our drinks. We had to flag her down for refills but she also wasn't visible a lot of the time and took ages to come get our payment. Very disappointing service. Some of the food was pretty good and some of it was okay. It's a LOT of food and you can ask for more since it's all you can eat. I was very hungry so the food hit the spot.

G

It's ok, but the food was nothing special. There is sufficient quantity provided of salad, main course, and desert. Most all of the main course was bland in tastes. If your on Disney dining plan search for other restaurants as this saloon in my opinion doesn't reach the quality of the other restaurants we had sit down meals on. I will say the best part was the desert brought to the table in a cast iron skillet.

One star because the server was great and another because it was food. What was good? The salad was really good, which was great! The Sam Adams IPA. My kid seemed to like the Mac N Cheese also. Can’t win them all. My honest experience; I ordered a sangria and didn’t drink because it was very watered down with very little flavor (the picture included was all we drank of it). I requested a taster of the cabernet and was denied. I ordered the cab anyway and sent it back after the first taste because it was heavy vinegar. Beef, chicken, turkey, pork and stuffing were just like the thanksgiving dinner from elementary school. Vanilla ice cream tasted like it was scooped from one of those big 2 gallon buckets made for volume and not flavor. The toffee cake tasted like a big packaged cookie that had sat in a shipping container too long, we didn’t eat that either after the first bite. You could eat all you wanted yeah but nah, no way. I am very glad I ate here so I will never do it again, and that’s okay 😃

I am a Disney World AP and my family and I used to LOVE this restaurant until our last visit this past week. This restaurant was one of the best meals in Magic Kingdom but they just changed their menu within the last two weeks. They have gone away with the honey butter, sausage, and campfire deserts. Instead of honey butter a spicy chipotle butter is served. (I don't know who puts that on sweet corn bread) Also no alternative such as regular butter is served. I asked our server and he said that was the only butter they had ( nobody in my family likes spicy food) . I finally asked a manager if there was any regular butter there and she finally brought some out for us. Now served with your corn bread is a "watermelon salad" it has watermelon, tomato, and cucumber mixed together. Also a potato salad, which was spicy. The main course was okay just no sausage like we had hoped for. Then out came the desert. you get three small items. A fruit cobbler, Peach and oatmeal cobbler in a small bottle and a chocolate cake. The cake was good except for the topping on it which I think they said it was a bourbon icing. The manager was walking around asking all of the tables their opinion and nobody else really seemed happy about their meal. We told her that we were a little disappointed in our meal. She really didn't seem to care and every reason that we gave her she just brushed it off and made it seem like their new spicy flare on everything was better. Needless to say we won't be returning unless the menu is changed.

Ate here on April 28th, 2023 Service was bad and food was worse. Brought out salad for family it was excellent. Then the bad kicked in. Food was lukewarm at best and turkey was dry and i swear it was the turkey you get in a lunchables snack pack. dressing was dry and roast beef fatty. Over all if you want to gorge yourself would it be worth it. A lot of food that tasted bad.

Of the three family-style Disney restaurants this was my least favorite. I love Disneys flavored butter provided with the corn bread and the salad was fresh. Called a lazy buffet the server brought a serving of each of the selections from the buffet. The sides received no special touches and could of been poured out of any bulk can. The meat ranged from dry with no flavor to delicious - for $35 a plate they all should of been delicious.

L
Lauren B

Let me first say I chose the plant based option and it was one of my favorite meals out of any park in Disney, HOWEVER, we sat at our table for no less than 20 mins before we were told they had not assigned a server to our table! they then proceeded to blame one another. Neither the plant based or regular dessert was any good and they were both cold. This, and a forced 18% tip, would be cause enough for my 2 stars, but I was also incredibly shocked at how wasteful this rest is! I couldn’t even finish one plate of food and they wouldn't let me take my leftovers! It’s not like I asked for refills and then tried to take it all with me. I didn’t even finish my original plate. So wasteful I couldn’t believe it. We will not be returning.

Ashley Hunter

This food was so bland. My 3 year old was literally crying at the table because of how gross it was, and honestly I wanted to cry with her because it was that bad. Our waitress was amazing, she even brought out chicken tenders and fries for my 3 year old which they only do if a child is in distress. I wish they did that for adults too because I was in distress eating this food.

E
Eli Arango

I could say misleading advertising, we had a big drawback with the table reservation, waiting more than 20 minutes for a site and there were 5 or 6 empty tables. It was very cold outside, those in the restaurant don't care about the user, not even the weather conditions. For that inconvenience we missed the show of the lights of the castle. The food was good.

J
JL Brace

The hosts and server did a great job! Food was good. Certainly not worth $40.00 PP. We had 6:55 PM reservations. Nicky who is responsible for seating had let in a few large walk-in groups prior to a booked reservation window. This delayed us by 30 minutes and impacted a few other families as well. This was not a magical experience after a wonderful day.

E
Eleanor W

The family style dining food was decent, but they seemed understaffed. Our waiter, who was definitely hustling (I always had a view of him; it’s not like he was disappearing.) wasn’t really able to be attentive to his tables because he was spread too thin. The food also was barely warm. The Christmas decorations were nice. I can’t for the life of me figure out why there’s not some kind of entertainment for the dinner. Even just videos of Walt or Silly Symphonies, or anything really, playing while you eat. Maybe a three piece string band and some can can dancers every 30 minutes. Singing waitstaff? I love the all you can eat BBQ, but Disney, you can do better on this one!

R
Robert Dyer

Pork was dry and no taste, the turkey was dry also, the beef was ok, the salad was great with cranberry’s! And the mashed and stuffing was good. Asked for a double table for 10 they said they could slide two together. Then sat us separately and didn’t. But slid 2 other parties tables together after us, but we sat separately. Service and the food is definitely not worth the price.

Thought I would surprise my husband for his birthday with lunch here. We discovered that we both had amazing childhood memories and were so fond of the review. Guess I should have done my research before we went . Apparently the show closed down in the 90’s. Such a shame, another yesteryear lost … server was fine. Food was barely edible. Champagne 🍾 was bad, obviously a bottle that had been open too long. I didn’t complain since we were both so disappointed. I’ve been a pass holder for over 30 years… it’s sad to see Walt’s dream continue to deteriorate time and time again.

I rarely give bad reviews but this place is not worth the time, money or effort. Food was absolutely like eating cardboard. I love brisket but it was so fatty you couldn’t even get a full bite without a mouthful of fat. Chicken is the only decent tasting thing and it tasted microwaved. $38 pp for adults is an even bigger disappointment. I have never felt so ripped off in all my life, and I felt this way as soon as I started eating. This almost ruined Disney for me and we have been approximately 10 times since 1973 when I was a teenager. Oh, and the desserts...driest chocolate cake I’ve ever seen, the apple cobbler resembled and tasted like applesauce with whipped topping, the cheesecake dessert was like a little bit of whipped cream cheese with cheap JELLY in between layers that was to have been a fruit compote!! Lol. What a joke. We had reservations at Mama Melrose's Italian restaurant the day before at MGM Studios and it was pretty decent for half the price. Do not waste your money or time...nothing but a terrible money pit. I would have given anything for a basket of overpriced $15 chicken strips and fries compared to this.

M
Michelle

We ate there yesterday and my whole family ended sick of their stomach. We think it was food poisoning since it was the only place we ate for that day. The service was bad the waiter had like 5 tables juggling to keep up with all the tables. We didn’t get refills until we were done eating. Not worth the price .

D
Dave Muse

Sorry, but not my thing. Mac and cheese tasted sweet. The salad was spicy, weird. The sausage was also spicy, not great for the kids. The corn was mushy. The only thing half decent was the beef and brownie. No other options for food available. That's pretty much what you have to eat so don't expect a choice of entree.

L
Lisandra Lezcano

The best part of the meal was probably the bread and butter. The rest was mediocre. You get almost the exact same meal at the Garden Grill. I would have liked to see some variation and better flavors. The mashed potatoes tasted odd to say the least. Also our waiter, Ken, was suspicious of me asking for an annual passholder discount. I took a little offense to that, but I did my best to describe our pass to him and even showed him our passes on my phone. He left and came back asking to see them again, I showed it again and tried once more to explain it, he walked away again saying he needed to grab his manager and he did so looking impatient and upset, as if I did something wrong. The manager comes and says “Let me see”, in a sort of demeaning way, at this point I felt like they were assuming I was lying and I wonder why, because I doubt they put everyone else through this much interrogation all because I asked for an AP discount. I showed him the pass as well and it still seemed like neither one of them knew about it, eventually he said okay and I was reluctantly given my discount. It was a very disappointing and embarrassing experience. I have no reason to lie, I cooperated and showed what they asked for, it’s like they thought I couldn’t be an AP member or something… needless to say I won’t be returning.

M
Matt C

I agree with the other reviewer. This food was disgusting. We got it with our meal plan and regretted it with the first bite. We left hungry because it was that bad. It's all you can eat for a reason, its hard to want to take a second bite. I expected so much more from Disney.

N
Nicholas N

I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. The beef was way too salty and the corn was overcooked. Their sausage was super fatty and tasted like Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage. The highlight of the meal was their cornbread. For 5 adults and 1 child the meal was $245. Definitely not worth the cost.

J
Jennifer

Very disappointed. All the food was cold when brought to the table (but probably wouldn't have tasted any better even if it had been the proper temperature). Quality of the food was far from 'fine dining'. Service was also very slow. Would not recommend. Will not go back on future Disney trips.

S

Went here for a birthday. Food was barely edible, service was fine. Portions extremely stingy for price and you have to ask for more food continuously. Atmosphere like a school canteen with food to match, louder than one too, for such a price-point. Seriously avoid.

C

Very quiet yet very noisy atmosphere. Service very poor. Much better places to eat in Disney than here. Service was extremely poor and chased out by said poor server who demanded we gave more tip. Small boy in floods of tears as was scared by her.

T

Let me start off by saying, NOT WORTH THE MONEY! it’s beautiful inside and all, but the rolls are like store bought ones, the mashed potatoes are on the Mac and cheese is mediocre and the turkey was dry! There were so many empty tables yet it took us forever to get seated after we missed our reservation by five minutes (due to haunted mansion breaking down per usual :) don’t mean to be rude at all because I love Disney world! But I also value other Disney fans who are already spending a fortune to eat! Thanks!

Guía de The Diamond Horseshoe

Un Legado Duradero: Por Qué The Diamond Horseshoe Perdura
