Step into an authentic taste of the best parts of Mexico at Tacos and Beer! The charming and colorful scenery is complimented by subtle Spanish music and excellent service. The food was delicious from the homemade chips and salsa to the huge portions of burritos and tacos we had. The pork belly guacamole was by far the best surprise - must have if stopping by! I’m gluten and dairy free and they easily accommodated me with a variety of options. I settled for the 5 mini crispy shrimp tacos and they were amazing. Highly recommend if you’re a local or stopping by for lunch / dinner on your way out of town. Can’t wait to come back and try something new next time!

What a great little gem! 1st time here, we were hoping for the best when we stopped at this place, the staff was very nice, excellent service and pleasantly surprised the food was great! We order a Torta la gorda and a burrito Monstro, that burrito is huuuuge but soooo good and the torta omg! Everything was fresh, and made to order, check this place out!

This is all I wanted after a weekend trip in CA. Stopped to get gas and found this place for lunch. Small, homey, Delicious, decent music. Worth every penny ~$20 per plate. Micheviche is 🔥. Very limited parking.

Absolutely amazing food. I haven't been here in 4 years (just haven't been in the neighborhood), brought my husband for his 1st time, and it was a big success. He loved it, I loved, end of story 😁 I will say tho I wad kind of thrown off by the dining area. It was reduced in size very drastically from the last time I was there. But times are rough and the food is so good you really don't mind 😉

Been coming here for a few years now. The food is great and all, but in the last year the prices for all the food have significantly increased with some items like the breakfast burrito almost doubling in price. Not sure if it was a complementary thing, but they also stop giving the tortilla chips with the orders.

Enchilada sauce was so hot/spicy my husband couldn't eat it. Taquitos not served with guacamole, had to pay extra for a very small amount. Expensive for what we got. Chips and salsa/beans were very tasty.

Great place for good mexican food. A lot of fish dishes available as well as traditional mexican often with a twist. I tried a couple dishes based on baked potatoes and they were fantastic. Watch out because the servings are big and very filling! Would have given five stars except seating is primitive and along a busy street.

Pretty good Mexican food. The chips and salsa were good also but they are a bit chintzy with both. Especially if you're having to share with a table of more than two. But we would like to go back to try a few other items. The only other complaint is that the food took a very long time to come out and we ordered right away. They did have a lot of people there however half already had food.

I consider myself a regular customer and I would love to recommend this place, BUT last time I was there it was very disappointing to see that they made a lot of changes in the restaurant but it’s not good changes or at least speaking from a customer perspective, specially that it was one of my favorite places to eat. They used to welcome you with chips and a delicious bean dip, not anymore, and they removed a lot of their dishes from the menu, and now they serve the food on paper plates which is so dumb because the presentations were beautiful, and not just that they serve the chips on the plate and take you some bean dip on a plastic container. I understand business owners have to make changes to benefit the business not hurt them. In my opinion I will not return to this place, where they have a very limited menu and removed the ones that were actually delicious.

It's been going downhill each time we come. The food is still delicious but any type of plate arrives cold. The tables and chairs are in need of maintenance, some upholstery and a paint job. Ordered breakfast here yesterday, got carne asada fries and the fries were mostly burnt and the carne asada was salty. Also got chilaquiles with chicken for my wife and her chicken was very tough. We came a week ago and got burritos and it was delicious but this breakfast was unenjoyable and disappointing for $55, the horchatas were the only positive.

I've been a customer for over five years and the service is consistently bad 85% of the time. But the food is very good but overpriced.

Waited long for my food.Party I was with had received his food and finished eating and I was still waiting for my food. When my food finally came out we had to leave so they wrapped it to go. Unsure how food tasted since I was not able to eat it cause I had to drive. So I gave my burrito to a person sitting outside on curb. No customer service at this place will not go back again.

Came in with some co-workers and asked for the two enchiladas with rice and beans (kids' meal). She said, "We can't serve you the kids' meal." I'm on a budget and can't eat a lot anyway. She said, "I can't sell you the kids' meal." She embarrassed me in front of my co-workers. Then another person asked if she could get just two rolled taquitos. She said no, they only come in four. You should be able to get one if that's all you want. Very disappointed 😞 😔
