Hand painted wine bottles souvenirs average price 20 eu painted by one of the owners fathers! If you skip this restaurant you missing out!!

Very cute restaurant with a cute concept. Their menus are hand drawn and the walls are full of art which you can buy. We went as they were opening so there was no queue and food came out promptly, but I wish the pasta was a bit hotter (in temperature) as it was on the cooler side compared to other pasta restaurants we had visited. I highly recommend the tiramisu!

We came here for lunch, we had 3 kinds of pasta they were all really good, I would call it one of the best I had along with the tiramisu. The place was crowded and too hot also for some reason the hostess wasn’t very welcoming although they did their efforts to accommodate us and our dietary restrictions

Absolutely delicious, all of it. The prosecco, the pasta, the bread, the wine. And oh wow, the tiramisu!! Freshly cooked flavourful pasta, decent sized portion. Quirky little place with hand-drawn menu and hand-painted decor. Very attentive staff. A little bit pricey but to be expected in Bellagio and in this particularly heavy tourist traffic street. Would definitely return. Didn't stop talking about this particular meal our entire trip, especially after being disappointed at nearby trattoria the following evening. 10/10 would recommend.

La Lanterna in Bellagio is a must-visit! Fresh homemade pasta with classic Italian sauces made every bite memorable. The highlight was the tiramisu, beautifully presented in a moka pot – creative and delicious. Warm atmosphere and excellent service. A true 5-star Italian dining experience!

La Lanterna in Bellagio feels like dining inside a piece of art. The menu is handwritten, the walls decorated with painted wine bottles, and every detail adds to the cozy, creative atmosphere. The food is unforgettable—fresh homemade pasta served with rich sauces that taste truly authentic. The tiramisu and coffee made the perfect finish to the meal. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcomed as if I were part of the family. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and experience make it worth it. If you’re in Bellagio and want not just a meal but a memory, this place is a must.

One of my favorite places in Bellagio. It's a tiny place that somehow found a way to sit a large party in short order. The menu is very limited, but there was something alluring about that. We had the pesto, the amatriciana, the Bolognese, the lasagna, and the tiramisu which they serve in a coffee maker and might have been my favorite one in all of Italy. The place is decorated with handpainted cork tops, flattened glass bottles, aperol bottles, and other items for sale. The staff were very friendly and I would happily go back, just wish they would add some starter dishes or more options, since we already sampled pretty much the entire menu already.

Lovely experience visiting this family run restaurant in the heart of Bellagio. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was homely. The room is covered in beautiful paintings on wine bottles painted by the grandfather of the lady running the restaurant. You can (and we did) buy one of these to take home too. A beautiful souvenir of our stay. Highly recommended!

Prices are high but I guess it makes sense for the area and the beautiful seating outside. Everything is very cute and decorated, just a few pasta options and one dessert. Overall we were super happy with the experience and the attentive staff. We would definitely recommend if you are around.

It can be notoriously hard to find genuine good authentic Italian food in Italy, it's tricky to avoid the tourist traps. This place is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The fresh homemade pasta is incredible. Great wine and great tiramisu. Our meal here was one of the best we've had. Cannot recommend highly enough!

This was some of the best pasta I have ever had in Italy! We had the pesto and the lasagne, portions were okay sized but the taste was exceptional. Tiramisu was fantastic and was presented great. Quite pricey but sat outside on the street, was definitely worth it!

Sembra come di essere ad Amalfi, ma in realtà si è nel comasco. Piccolo localino con servizio molto molto rapido. Il menù ristretto ma comunque riesce ad accontentare diversi gusti. I ravioli alla crema di noci sono fantastici. Il personale inizialmente accogliente, dopo una permanenza un po più prolungata sembra come incitare a lasciare il posto ad un prossimo cliente, mantenendo sempre educazione, rispetto e sorriso ovviamente. Diviso su due piccoli spazi interni e qualche tavolino da coppia esterno sulla scalinata. Prezzi contenuti considerata anche la location: primo bibita e dolce con poco più di 15€

Loved eating here. As an italian, the lasagna tasted homemade and just like from my nonna (in a very positive way). Pesto pasta was also delicious. You could taste the fresh ingredients and strong flavor of them which I haven‘t experienced anywhere else until now. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. The music, the hand painted menu, everything just felt like you were in a romantic movie. The only downside for were that the pesto pasta was a bit too salty and the prices.. other than that perfect.

There weren’t many pasta options, but the ones available were very tasty. We absolutely loved the pesto rosso. The portions are a bit small and quite pricey, but everything was delicious. The outdoor atmosphere is also very nice.

The atmosphere was lively. Lots of painted bottles around the room. Everything was very artsy including the menu and placemats. There's only a few dishes however they were all freshly made. We all ordered different dishes, out of the 4 dishes the minestrone and the jagliolini al pesto were the best. The others were still very good but the prior two dishes just really stood out. We also ordered the tiramisu and it's the best I've had so far (first one in Italy).

Mid overpriced food. Similar to a lot of restaurants in Bellagio it’s a tourist trap. Have had better “homemade” lasagna from the frozen section at Lidl

Non è un vero ristorante, non è una paninoteca. E' una via di mezzo. Servono paste all'uovo fatte in casa e paste secche, insalate e panini. La pasta dal punto di vista qualitativo è buona, idem per il condimento, però le porzioni sono davvero misere e il prezzo davvero spropositato. Non vale i voti ricevuti, almeno per il giudizio di un italiano.

The place is nice and rustic, with a lot of character, however the food was very salty and bland. Despite the pasta being home-made, the sauces were nothing special and we left feeling that we honestly make better pasta dishes at home (not how you want to feel whilst on holiday in Italy!). The staff began nice and friendly but towards closing time (9pm, quite early) were quite pushy to get us to leave. The tiramisu arrived in traditional moka coffee pots which was a nice touch but aside from that was nothing special either.

Abbiamo mangiato meglio in alcuni self service per un prezzo minore. Vino da tavola scadente. Ho preso una pasta all'arrabbiata che non aveva alcun sapore di piccante e non sembrava affatto fatta in casa. La pasta boscaiola con i funghi è fatta con la panna ma sul menu non c'è scritto. Le lasagne sono basse e la carne è quasi assente. Potrà andar bene per un turista che non sa cosa sia la pasta ma un italiano certamente non può accontentarsi di questa qualità. 2 euro per un caffè. Vendono delle strane bottiglie dipinte. Sarebbero anche belline se non costassero una fortuna.

Prezzi elevati rispetto alla qualità del cibo ,tipico locale per attirare turisti stranieri… €15 per un semplice tiramisù servito in una caffetteria mi sembra esagerato.
