The coffee here was great but the vibe of this whole area is what garners it 5 stars in my mind. A great place to go and get some work done or even wander around with friends and family. I got a mocha latte and it was fantastic.

Such a cool coffee shop! I'd definitely recommend stopping by here. They have a large coffee menu, and serve pastries and bagels as well. I just had their drip coffee and a bagel and they were both great! It is located in part of "The Lab" anti-mall, so there is a lot of outdoor seating. The customer service was great too, and I'd definitely go back!

Great matcha cafe with good coffee options. Tough to find a good flat white in the US but Nook has it sorted. It’s in a cute location with lots of community seating for a coloring space. Heaps of options for food and drinks around but definitely stop in here if you’re looking for a coffee and pastry. The blueberry muffin was amazing!

Nice quaint coffee shop in a small business strip location with a cool retro vintage design. Plenty of seating, but it looks like most of their customers are grab and go’s. The staff was nice and fast with their service, especially with their long lines. I ordered the hot Spanish Latte, it was rich creamy and smooth.

my mom & I LOVEEE this place! <3 it’s basically our breakfast before heading to work;good way to start the day. They serve the best Chai latte it’s one of our personal favorite there with a pastry on the side ofc! Nook Coffee hit exactly what I was craving. The flat white was silky with dense microfoam and a clean, balanced shot. The cappuccino was lighter and airier, and you could clearly feel the difference in texture between the two. That precision matters. I added a single origin cold brew and it was spot on for a light roast, bright and clean with a smooth finish that never turned bitter. My daughters ordered sweetened matcha and loved it. Small, friendly space, quick service, and a team that cares. Big shoutout to Cheyne for being so kind and dialed in at the bar. I’ll be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nook Coffee Bar is an absolute local gem (tucked in Costa Mesa)! The coffee is excellent — rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted every time. They have such a great array of choices, from classic favorites to creative seasonal drinks. I also love that they’re vegan-friendly with plenty of plant-based options for drinks. The cozy vibe and friendly staff make it even better. 100% recommend this spot for anyone who loves quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere!

I have been to Nook Coffee a few times now, and it is quickly becoming a go-to spot for me. I have tried both the Spanish Latte and the Strawberry Matcha, and both drinks have their unique charm. The Strawberry Matcha was so good. The balance between the matcha and strawberry was perfect, not too sweet but still smooth and refreshing. Definitely one of the better versions I have had. The Spanish Latte caught me by surprise. It had a bit of a bitter kick at first, but the cinnamon flavor with each sip grew on me and added a nice depth to the drink. Overall, I enjoy this spot and will keep coming back to try more. If you are looking for a solid coffee shop with some great drink options, I would recommend checking it out! Staff is always super sweet and there is a line out the door each time - but they are pretty quick to get the order rollin'! Worth the wait!

A hidden gem with a trendy taste that's hard to find elsewhere. Ordered the Honey Lavender Latte, and it was delicious and smooth, just the right amount of sweetness. The interior is beautifully designed, modern yet cozy, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends or get some solo work done. I was also impressed with the quick service. Definitely coming back for another round or two!

One of my favourite coffee shops: delicious well-balanced espresso, availability of unsweetened macadamia milk (a rare find among coffee shops), highly skilled baristas. I love how they make unsweetened matcha with macadamia milk: moderately strong, well stirred, and creamy. Thumbs up to all Nook employees.

Cute and aesthetic coffee shop !! Their matcha is amazing. However, hazelnut coffee tastes plain. Matcha is a better choice. Fast and quick service. I’d highly recommend stopping by.

This was my first time visiting this gem. I ordered a hot Mocha Latte and it worth every penny. The two gentlemen working were extremely friendly and watching them prepare everything by hand made the process more intimate and you could taste the quality. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area, it's worth the visit.

Wonderful place to grab a coffee and work or relax in the back area. Dog friendly outdoors. Plenty of seating on a Monday afternoon. Parking is free in the plaza.

Great iced lavender latte! Not really much seating but it has WiFi and the matcha is good, the strawberry matcha is not my favorite because it’s not a strawberry syrup with pieces of strawberries but that may be personal preference

My wife and I stopped by here to get a cup of coffee and matcha before our Disneyland trip and the drinks were amazing and the service was impeccable as well they answered all our questions with a smile and made them with joy too! Highly recommend them!

It tastes different from other mocha’s I have had before. The only drawback was I had requested extra hot and the coffee was low warm. The Spanish latte was good.

Very hippy coffee place, so cute and relaxing. They didn’t have almond milk as an option but they have oat milk. The size of latte is so small and it’s about $6.50. I had the vanilla latte with oat milk and it was really good

Area was and the interior of the cafe was cute. However the matcha was lacking. Tried the island matcha and the matcha was not strong enough that it tastes just more like oatmilk with a lil hints of matcha. The matcha powder they used are definitely not something you would be amazed about considering theres no complexity in flavour and just tastes flat. Idk if they havent find the right measure to make it well balanced with the coconut syrup and oatmilk, but this was indeed not a matcha specialty shop and not a place you would expect an authentic ceremonial grade matcha.

I normally love Nook and would NEVER complain about them!! Their drinks are amazing and their staff are usually the sweetest. There was a hair in these mini muffins I bought, though. GROSS. And this is the second time that this has happened. :/ I’m sure it’s an accident but still need to be aware about purchasing these from this location. Sadly I didn’t discover the hair until I opened the container at home otherwise I would have asked for my money back.
