Google! Find an Italian Restaurant near me! It definitely did and we were not dissapointed! Food was delicious and service was excellent! Lasagna is the go too!!! Pizza was also excellent! Will definitely be returning! Sorry, no pictures! Food was too good!
Genuinely, I’ve been to many Italian Restaurants in my life and this is a top 2 for me. I very much enjoyed the friendly service, positive attitudes of staff and the absolutely delicious food. I will be saving this to my favorite restaurant list. Julio was phenomenal!
If you’re looking for an authentic, intimate Italian restaurant, look no further. We were blown away by the incredible service from Julio and the rest of the staff. The dedication they had, checking up on us constantly and warmly making us feel like family. Now on to the food— he warned us that it was authentic, and not Americanized Italian food, like your typical Olive Garden. So I made sure to ask for my gnocchi to have “extra creamy” pesto sauce and it was absolutely divine!! If you opt for an appetizer, I recommend the mozzarella “sticks”. (You have to cut them up yourself but sooo worth it.) He had our drinks full the entire time, however did not pressure us to order more once we had our fill. He also helped us celebrate a special birthday for my fiancé and just made the entire experience SO incredibly memorable for us (along with the other staff members, who were equally sweet!!). Due to our large party size, the 20% tip was automatically included but we made sure to add on an additional tip because it was well-deserved. We will be back!!!!
If you're looking for excellent Italian food, away from the beaten path, with a very friendly and family oriented atmosphere (to include romantic)....Rici's is the restaurant you will want to visit. My family meals consisted of Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Fettuccine, Sausage and Peppers over Spaghetti and personal pizza. All of which were amazing. The staff was very attentive and friendly. This is definitely a "do-over" if I find myself in the area again.
Service was bad but food was bangin, they also had live music. The fried mozzarella and fried zucchini were some of the best apps you could get, the ranch was heavenly. I got the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo (as always) and it was better than Olive Garden which is a high bar to hit. The sauce was perfect for dipping the crunchy buttery garlic bread. Place is small but amazing. 10/10.
Came here for lunch, was kinda happy their weren't too many people here, so it was pretty quick. the server was very nice and attentive kept refilling my drink even when I still had some remaining. I ended up getting the Italian sausage and green peppers which came with a side of spaghetti, bread, and choice of soup or salad(I chose minestrone soup). The soup was nice, seasoned well and I liked that they didn't give you too much of either the bread or soup since the meal was pretty decent sized. The green peppers were well cooked and the Italian sausage was cut in quarters so they were pretty good pieces with each fork full, and the side of spaghetti was nice and small. Ended the meal with a slice of tiramisu and a glass of water, I liked how creamy it was. The end price for it was around 30ish, which was alright for the entire meal. Think ill be stopping by again next week to try some other things on the menu(went ahead and added pics of the new menu as well as the wine list, not a lot to choose from but it's easier to decide than having a lot of pages to file through). Maybe I'll try the hazelnut Gelato next time.
Ricci's was incredible! Granted we were there during a low so not sure how it stacks up while busy but we had an amazing experience! The building itself was very clean and the space is very large with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service there was great, our waitress was so kind and funny, and was super patient with us as well since it was our first time. The food here is incredible! It tasted super fresh, and everything came out warm and definitely made with love!! Will definitely be coming back here to try more!
The area is nice, small and somewhat quiet. The front of the building faces a main street which has foot and auto traffic but the area is nice to be around especially around the holidays. The food had higher expectations, and it turned out to be okay for the experience. Pasta sauce and sauces for other plates were good. If you are local it is good for a night out no stress of cooking and just take the time to relax. Next visit would be aimed for the Pizza Pies and how they taste.
The restaurant itself is a wierdly set up layout. Its small (not in a good way), cramped and oddly not a warm enviting vibe as im used to when it comes to Italian restaurants. The food was just okay except for the chicken parm calzon, that was delicious. The service was fine. When all is said and done, I paid $160 for a mediocre meal for 4. I would not return. It just wasnt worth what I paid in any way. Neither the service and food, nor the location are worth going back to and in my opinion, grossly overpriced. The portions were smaller than im used to at a pricy Italian restaurant and they charge for more bread. I have a 14yo teenage boy who's 6'4". If you're going to give small portions, atleast include 1 extra basket of bread. They seemed to be having issues with the cash register so there were 2 employees having a confused and slightly irritated discussion right next to our table. I really didnt enjoy my dining experience here. It was rainy and maybe they were just having an off day but i wont know because i will never come back again. We work hard for every penny and going out to eat as a family is a luxury I truly hold dear. I had to work for 4 hours just to pay for what imo was a subpar meal and service in a small awkwardly laid out restaurant. It just wasnt good in any way. OH AND YOUR MUSIC WAS WAY TOO LOUD. We could hardly carry a conversation. Sorry, thats my opinion
Honestly, the food is good, really good....however their service is horrible. I hear they no longer have karaoke, but in the beginning of March 2025 we were invited to a birthday karaoke party for my brother in law. He ordered pizzas in advance as an appetizer so guests could have something to eat. We'll that took forever, 90 minutes, mind you they were pre-ordered. It took another hour to order a lasagna, which arrived at the table at 749pm. The party started at 5pm, the salad and pizza arrived at 643pm. My first time here at this location, my sister, her husband the bday boy came here often for the karaoke. My niece & her husband had been here too, a waitress remembered my niece and apologized for the crappy service last time. So in conclusion, if you want to have dinner here, go shortly after you've had had a meal somewhere else because it will take a while to get your food. They need better staff, more staff, maybe more chefs. There was another birthday group and another large group came in, I'm sure they were aware of the amount of guests to be there, but they failed to staff accordingly. A gold mine if ran properly, but much income was lost and no amount of good food will keep this place open for long.
We had the minestrone soup 5/5, lemon chicken soup 4/5, calamari 4/5, garlic bread 4/5, spaghetti with red sauce 3/5, meatball 1/5, baby clam in white sauce 3/5 (little under seasoned), Alfredo fettuccine with chicken 4/5, cannoli 4/5, spumoni gelato 4/5, hazelnut gelato 1/5, Lemon Mascarpone cake 5/5. Had a few glasses of Moscato and Rosso that were 4/5. The price rating does not accounted for the alcohol and dessert (over indulgence). Overall, not a bad experience. Nice setting and plenty of public parking in the back.
My daughter was craving spaghetti and I wanted to try a new place out, saw this place and decided to give it a try! Service: 10/10 Both the woman server and the gentleman who was running back and forth between the back of the house and the front were extremely polite, knowledgeable of the menu and accommodating. Food came out fairly quickly and our drinks stayed filled. Food: 6/10 My daughter enjoyed her spaghetti, but she liked another place we frequent more called Le Coco in Downey. I thought the sauce was a little watered down. I ordered a calzone and I loved how gracious they were with the pepperonis and olives, but the dough was undercooked and made it hard to eat. I saved most of it to take home and cook it more. The garlic bread was very good and the lemon chicken soup that came with my daughters pasta was tasty yet simple which was a perfect little appetizer for her. Prices were decent. Ambience: 10/10 Very clean and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bar area was absolutely to die for, it was so cute! My come back for wine and appetizers. Overall I would try this place again and give it another chance. The food tasted okay, and I think if my calzone was cooked thoroughly it would have been better.
The service was great but the gfood was not so great no type of flavoring at all ! But the mozzarella sticks were great!! Will I return . Honestly I don’t think so .
I initially liked Riccis but a couple of times the food quality wasn’t great. Do not eat here on a Monday I ordered manicotti with Alfredo sauce. It caused my lips to burn and was super salty. After eating I became sick nauseated, just a weird reaction. I’ve eaten the same dish but never felt like that. They definitely have to have two different cooks, because the food is really good , and on other days fall short.
Let me start off by saying I knew today was going to be busy for them so I gave them the benefit of doubt. But I had to go in and ask to be seated and the ppl after us got seated before us. We finally got seated and did not receive any menus.. we waited and waited and nothing .. more ppl were getting seated and had menus.. we didn’t even know who our waiter or waitress was. I’m beyond disappointed I was really looking forward to eating here. We waited for over 30 mins and decided to leave and as we were walking out .. we received our first acknowledgment and it was a thank you for coming .. he was surprised to hear how irritated I was and was shocked to hear no one came up to us.. staff ability to acknowledge customers was beyond poor.
The music was great! These service was horrible!! I was at this place last Friday after 6 pm. I was with 5 other ladies. We sat on the patio. Our waitress at like we were bothering her the entire time we were there. I ordered a pink lemonade I never received. Let's start with the appetizers. The chicken wings were Overcooked, the calamari was chewy as well. The only thing good was the garlic bread. She never checked on us. She left the apps plates on our table the entire time. Now dinner. I enjoyed my meal which was gnocchi. The peppers/sausage one of my group didn't like, one got a salad She 1/2 ate, the pesto ravioli was flavorful. She NEVER checked on us, then she would have had the chance to make it right. She did replace the peppers/sausage with wings. We were charged for the pink lemonade & the peppers. I am not a person who complained but OMG. Granted were are just 6 ppl who just don't have to come back again. The bill was $200 & she left a tip. She is lucky I didn't pay. The music was great that's it. What a disappointment. Everyone kept saying now we know. Ugh for real!!🤬😡🤬
