Opinions de Schlotzsky's Belton
We had the bowl of soup and a flatbread. I want to see the flatbread was avocado chicken or something like that. It was so so good.
Our sandwiches were as ordered and delicious. We were treated very nicely. It was an enjoyable experience.
Went through the drive through. This was right after the tornado 05/24/2024 so they were very busy because a lot of places did not have power. The service was great, timing was great considering how busy they were and food was delicious. Just want to say thank you to everyone working that day under extenuating circumstances.
So, my wife and I went in for lunch yesterday (Monday) and I ordered the BBQ Chicken and Jalapeño pizza. Order was quick and food was brought out to our table quickly. I was munching down on my pizza, REALLY enjoying it when someone came out from the back (manager?) and said he was remaking my pizza. I asked why and he said they forgot to put the chicken on the pizza! Man, I was enjoying the pizza so much I DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE IT DIDNT HAVE CHICKEN, lol. Well, they made me another and put it in a Togo box, so I had lunch for today all ready for me. Glad they are professional enough to come out and tell me they messed up instead of waiting for a complaint. 5 stars in my book!
Got my FREE small original with B-Day coupon from app. Food was good, service was good. It was late evening when I visited, so not busy, which was fine with me. Lighting and ambiance was cozy & warm. Kid was even playing his violin. He sounded about like I did when I started, so I tolerated it. :)
We were the only customers in there and my mother ordered the fiesta Chicken and I ordered an Original. A girl who Inlater learned was named Kiki came up to our table didn't say a word and put a sandwich down in front of my mother. My mother asked "Is this the Fiesta Chicken?" She said "I don't know." Then she picked up the sandwich she put in front of my mother and said "This is the Original." My mother said "Oh, ok, I ordered the Fiesta Chicken is that it? " she asked in a nice way and just to be sure. Kiki replied "I don't know, I didn't make it. " To find out she was a manager was appalling! She seems like a hard workerd but NO Customer Service skills! We've been here before while traveling and never had issues. On another note, Christina up front was super nice and friendly.
Went through drive thru for an early lunch. They took 15 mins in the drive thru just for my sandwich. I also ordered a Diet Coke and it smelled like cleaning spray (I guess they didn’t fully rinse the soda nozzles?) I couldn’t even drink it. This place used to be good but it’s just sub par now.
*I have visited here twice now over the past 2 years, and service has greatly improved! Only current problem is that depending on who makes the cinnamon rolls, they skimp on the icing lol. 4 years ago - They always take 10+ minutes at drive thru, no matter what you order, and the last time I went they smooshed my entire sandwich and the soup was thick and burnt from sitting in the holding container too long. My kid got a salad, and due to the whole E. Coli freak out, they couldn't put romain. I said okay but you'll substitute it with other stuff right? She said "they should" and obviously they didn't. This isn't an isolated event, either. Just save your money and go to JJ or one of the multiple other fast food locations around them.
Someone please, save this Schlotsky’s!! They need major help in the food quality and prep area, perhaps a little ChikFilA training?? We visited early for lunch, ordered an Original sandwich meal, and a Chicken Avocado Cobb salad, and our order was delivered timely. Two problems that we noticed pretty quick, the Original sandwich was oozing with mustard, and the salad did not have one morsel of chicken. A small baggie of cubed chicken was provided upon request, but it is sad to think that the preparer took such low pride in the finished product. And we will definitely ask for light mustard on our sandwich, if and when we ever return to this location.
If it says they close at 9 it really means 8:30. They were out of half their menu. Closed the register and were making it very clear they are closing.
My husband and I came in to eat today. The girl who took our order was very friendly. When she brought our food and we started eating, we noticed that they didn't put a pickle on our plate, which they always give pickles. I walked up to the kitchen area where you can also pick up your orders to go and asked if they still give pickles. There was a man with his back to me working and he didn't see me... Not a big deal. But when I looked further inside the preparation line there was a woman who looked at me. She looked very annoyed and said something that I could not understand. She threw the bread that was in her hand down onto her work area and harshly walked up and asked me what I wanted. I asked her about the pickles that were missing. Then she rudely asked if we came inside or the drive thru. I answered her that we're eating inside and before she said anything else, the man picked up two packs of pickles and gave them to her to give me. She looked very annoyed and this sourpuss of a woman slammed them into my hand and walked away back to what she was doing. My husband asked me what was wrong and I told him. He asked the nice girl who took our order who that woman was. She said that she is the manager... !!!!!!!! Looking at past posts about a very rude woman with a scowling look sounds like the same woman I encountered today. Why isn't Corporate reading the comments and doing something about it? We love going to Schlotzkys but will not be going back to that location as long as that woman is there.
Went with a group of seven people at 7:45 and they said we couldn’t order food for dine in because they had been slammed when two people were eating there at the time.
I was really upset with order today. Bread was OLD and product skimpy. I will not go back there. No second chances
Worst sandwich I’ve ever had. Asked for no veggies but pretty much got a mustard sandwich. A very thin layer of meat. We eat at others and I’ve never had one this bad.
When me and my wife first walked in lady was real rude and had an ugly scowl on her face and as she was mopping told us lobby closed have to use drive thru cause she was short handed, and as she was saying that seen three other workers. well we was going to just disregard the rudeness because this is our go to spot but I just couldn’t get over how rude this lady was so we just left not sure if we will every return which is so sad me and my wife have enjoyed eating at this particular restaurant because of the atmosphere has always and I mean always been pleasant. We were crushed
Picked up a large online order at drive thru. when they handed me the drinks it was missing one of four. had to knock on window and ask for 4th drink. Had one sweet and one unsweetened tea. neither was labeled asked which sweet vs unsweet. older lady rudely threw up her hands and said "well I don't know, we have been really busy!!" One of the originals barely had any meat on it compared to other same sandwiches. won't be back.
It’s really strange that they get so upset over a sandwich error. I went through the drive through & ordered a small sandwich, medium drink & chips. Ended up with medium sandwich with the wrong items but got the drink &chips right. I was already back on the highway & called to see if I could either fix my order or just get a refund for the sandwich. Not a big deal, just wanted to get it fixed to save money since I wouldn’t eat it. The lovely and incredibly angry lady answered & proceeded to question me to the death of my order like it’s the most important job she has ever had, love that for her, and then tells me I should know if I order a medium drink- I will get a medium meal so I won’t get the small sandwich I originally ordered & will be charged for a medium. Mind you I can’t even eat half of the small. Then she hangs up on me when I tell her, oh no, I ordered a small and just wanted a medium drink. I call back, she tells me she didn’t hang up on me and “what do you want from her?” Truly odd she is so upset. I told her to either get it fixed but couldn’t come back today & she said I’d have to bring the day old sandwich back to her lol. I said ok, well can you refund me the sandwich since it’s not what I ordered? Pay for the chips & drink. Then she said “oh my god” and hung up. It’s truly free to be kind and have courtesy! I never make reviews but jeez. She needs to take a breather and realize it’s not that serious. I’ll keep the sandwich, no big deal girl. It’s gonna be ok!
Why does it take SOOOOOOOOOO long to get through your drive thru. Like hot dog man. Been in the drive thru for an hour with 4 cars in front of me. Currently still sitting in the drive thru. It’s almost unbelievable. I could’ve gone to the one in temple and back to work in Belton for as long as I’ve been in the drive thru.
Ordered 2 medium originals to go. Was going to go in to pick it up but the door was locked with a note saying lobby was closed due to short staff. Bread was dry and overcooked. There were only 4 olive slices on the whole sandwich and no onions and just a small amount of lettuce! All meat was just thrown in the center. We had two pickles that leaked so much from all the juice in the baggies that it was dripping from the bottom of the bag covering the whole bottom of the bag. Will not be back to this location! Need new staff and management very obviously!
Love the food, and all that was fine, but was with my disabled mom and your schlotzskys delivery van parked in the handicapped spot. Seriously?! Yall should know better than that. Not loading/unloading as it didn't move the whole time we were there, but my mom had to walk across the parking lot with her walker for what?
