Lovely food,big portions,very friendly staff

Thank you Andy and didn't get the ladies name sorry. Nice food and drink especially the vodkas and orange our last day we was going home we had a nice tuna salad and ham salad with 2 vodkas.

We were extremely happy with our visit. Great food and service. The management and staff were very polite, friendly and could not have been more helpful.

We have been to the penny farthing several times since the Benidorm lockdown was lifted and have been fully satisfied with every meal we've had. The service is second to none. Highly recommend.

Good British food in a fantastic setting, the price seemed fair too. The service was quick and friendly. Really enjoyed dining here, was a great experience.

We always go to see Andy and the Staff because they looked after Mum well when ee used to take her and now the Three Brother's go in memory of our Mum Mavis. And we get on well with Andy because we both like football he Burnley me Mighty Iron ⚽ but not much Iron this Year but that doesn't matter because we get a brilliant Coffee and brandy and sit and watch people go to Market so thanks again from me and my two Brothers April tour.🍷☕

we went in on 2 mornings while on a short break both times i had the eggy bread ( french toast) mushrooms and tinned toms and i can honestly say ive been in 5star hotels that didnt serve as nice food, large mug of English tea and the wierdo had his usual 3 sausages,3 crispy bacon and beans, he is hard to please when it comes to his bacon but said how good this was, we were met by lovely man who gave us a newspaper to read as we waited for the food, it was a short wait, but id have waited an hour if i had too,it was that nice, give this unassuming wee place a try if your in Benidorm,you wont be dissapointed,thanks again your food truly was lovely.

Great place this...been twice now and had cod + chips with mushy peas and tried the Sunday roast with beef. Quality of food is very good especially in relation to the price, staff very friendly even kept the homemade chips in a bit longer to our liking 2nd time we went there...we will be back for a third time hopefully soon :)

Fuimos a desayunar y estaba todo muy rico. Ademas fuimos con una perrita y sin pedirles nada a las camareras le sacaron un cuenco con agua y una barrita de chuche. Esta genial el sitio. El trato muy bueno.

Excelente! Soy medio británica y por culpa del covid hace un tiempo que no puedo ir a UK y disfrutar de la comida británica con la que crecí. Pero en este sitio, fué como estar allí. Su menú es muy inglés, tienen todo lo típico que pueden servirte en cualquier restaurante británico, con el mismo sabor y diría que hasta lo cocinan igual. Quedé maravillada. El personal es muy simpático y son gente atenta y muy amables. Acogieron a mi perro que es de tamaño grande y lo mimaron muchísimo. Le dieron agua y un montón de chuches a parte de darle caricias cada vez que pasaban por su lado. Es un sitio excelente sin lugar a dudas! Edit: ha pasado un año desde que escribí esa reseña y hoy he vuelto a estar, debo decir que sigue siendo excelente!

We went here yesterday afternoon for lunch. My wife and I had jacket potatoes which were huge and gorgeous. Very good value for money. We came back again this morning for two breakfasts which were lovely. Lovely food for very good prices 👌

If you are in benidorm and want a good full English then this is the place for you. Located right on the corner to the big outdoor market we called in for breakfast, they serve back bacon, Warburtons toast, proper fried mushrooms, black pudding, fried eggs, beans or tomatoes and the sausages were decent too. All for €5 for the large breakfast. I highly recommend this place.

Couldn't recommend this food bar enough. We were here for food and drinks on several occasions over the last 10 days while in Benidorm. We were staying in the Helios Hotel facing it and it was recommend highly by a staff member of the Helios Hotel. Andy was an absolute gentleman always smiling and talking to the customers. They food was absolutely delicious so reasonably priced as was all drinks. Place is spotless plenty a hand sanitiser also. We had a great time Andy even worked his self in Dundalk Ireland were we live. Had great chat and enjoyed every thing about the Penny farthing Couldn't recommend it high enough absolutely brilliant hope to be back soon. Thanks to you both simply the best 👌

Delicious food, unreal service! Came five years ago, and it's every bit as good as I remembered eating there today. Family of 5 sat down to try and get some breakfast at a small table. There was an older gentleman sitting by himself at a table for 6. Waitress tried to speak to him, he rudely tried to dismiss her by waving her away (im sure you an imagine the type of him!). Having none of it, she moved him to a smaller table so we could get some breakfast in Comfort. Fantastic staff, breakfast/lunch food was delicious. We will definitely be back. Couldn't recommend enough 👌

After reading previous reviews for The Penny Farthing, we called in here for breakfast last week. Everything was excellent, from the friendly welcome through to the delicious breakfast which was all freshly cooked. There are set options for breakfast but if you want to add more or make changes you can. Can't give any views on the other food available, but if you are looking for a breakfast whilst in Benidorm you would do well to call in here.

We visited The Penny Farthing several times during our 10 day stay for a lovely breakfast, between Oct 18-28th. The food we had was really tasty especially the British quality bacon, everything was cooked to perfection every time .The staff were super friendly and very welcoming.

Great English breakfast only thing I'd say is should include hash browns. These are 1 euro extra each, or at least should be 2 for a euro. Other than that great quality and great staff. Would highly recommend.

A nice bar hiding away but well worth a visit. The owner Andy always gives you a warm genuine welcome. The food looks good as only had drinks in there so far.

Visit several times a year Went in as a group of 6 a few times this week. Putting 2 tables together was never a problem til today. Apparently they couldn't do it today even though there was empty tables. Their loss of 80 €

More of a cafe than a bar. The service was quick and friendly. We paid €2.50 for a pint and a half, although, the half pint was clearly smaller than half a pint! Free wifi available, just ask for the password.

Idiots playing unsolicited music in the streets which is rather annoying. The tables are clean and are beeing cleaned after change. The glasses seem to be a bit worn out. Blind so to say. The mladies are doing a wonderful job Quick and lovely service. They are a team. Coffee although is Nescafe. Which is rather an emetic than being coffee.. at least change to Nespresso i am sure it would be worth it. Although its a proper British Bar... so drink your proper tea instead ;-)... All in all when you are in this corner stay right there because they have a sun terrace... I come back Sundays

Called in for breakfast recently. We ordered 1 small and 1 large breakfast both without egg with mushrooms on the large breakfast On previous visits we have made we have been asked if we would like an extra item to replace the egg. This time we weren't asked. The food arrived but no mushrooms. We mentioned this to the lady who had taken our order and told her to just cross them off the bill and were told we hadn't ordered them. We told her she had written it down and she went to check. She returned and said they had forgotten to put them on and they had a lot of orders in and we would have to wait for them while the other orders were served which to us was not really practical. We again said to cross it off the bill. On this occasion not a very good experience.

Pass by chance & after watching youtube channel with plenty of positive reviews & comments but it’s not we what had encountered! The lady who served us was lovely & good customer service but the lady working the bar ( ohh my days ) she was very abrupt!! If you’re not up to the job walk away & find something else. Not how it’s done sorry love 👍🏻 Only reason for leaving this review as I walked away with a bad impression so you can have the bad review back sweetheart 👍🏻

We tried to get in a few days ago, it was busy but not that busy, we understood from previous visits we might have to wait. The only negative is the waitress was quite dismissive. You need to work on your customer service skills.

En cuanto a la oferta gastronómica, disponen de dos menús de desayuno inglés, diferenciados por el tamaño y contenido: el menú pequeño, a 6 euros, y el grande, a 8 euros. En cuanto a la calidad del desayuno, podemos decir que estuvo correcto. El menú grande incluye una tostada con mantequilla, dos salchichas, bacon, un huevo, judías con tomate y un tomate pequeño entero. Intentamos solicitar un cambio en uno de los desayunos (sustituyendo el bacon por una salchicha), pero la camarera nos informó que no se admiten modificaciones. Eso sí, nos ofrecieron añadir extras pagando un coste adicional o eliminar ingredientes sin ajuste en el precio. El problema surgió al momento de pagar. Observamos que solo aceptan pagos en efectivo, algo anunciado de manera poco visible en un cartel al final del local. Al solicitar el ticket correspondiente, nos entregaron una hoja de comanda con tres números escritos a mano: “12, 4 y 16”. Esto nos generó dudas, por lo que reclamamos un comprobante más formal. En respuesta, la camarera nos entregó un supuesto "ticket" con graves irregularidades: estaba escrito en inglés, mostraba la fecha 08-04-2006, una hora irrelevante (02:56) y carecía de cualquier detalle legalmente obligatorio en España, como el desglose de conceptos, la moneda utilizada o el CIF del establecimiento. Es evidente que este documento no cumple con la normativa fiscal vigente en España.

I have tried to eat here twice and have been treated terribly. The staff are so rude and speak to you as if you were something they stood on. Not the way to run a business.

I had the large breakfast and left still hungry, nothing like the one advertised, coffee was awful . Food quality not very good, never again for us. Rip off

7 of us sat down for Sunday lunch . 5 meals came out . 15mins later waiter came to say other 2 lunches were given to another table and would re order . 20mins later manager came out to say no more of that lunch left and offered chips . Just had a "steak pie " I think it was on its 3rd reheat at least pastry and what meat there was was hard spoke to the staff about it they just removed my plate no apology. Had a breakfast there a week or so ago and it was absolutely lush but I'm afraid I won't return after the disinterest the staff showed
