Food here was so nice! We had to queue to get in. But definitely worth the wait. Prices are very reasonable too. *Edit* 01/2026 - came here again and it was just as we remembered it. Food was gorgeous, portions are good, this time there was no wait. The price is very good. Spent £50euro on a meal for 2 with 5 drinks. (3 beers 2 soda) . Would highly recommend you come here if you like Chinese food. The Chinese fried bread was delicious 😋.

Came here because of Geoff Carter YouTube. Starter, main and a pudding for 11€. Was worried it may be basic cheap food, but it was absolutely not. Wonderful taste and I was so full. Many different menu options if you’re more hungry. The service was 10/10 they were so friendly and the owner came round and greeted every table. Such a classy touch. Best Chinese in Benidorm!

We went on a Friday night and they were queueing out the door to get in. Couldn't fault the food, the price or the service. For €11 you get starter, main course, pudding, prawn crackers, half a bottle of wine and some shots at the end. Even though the place was absolutely heaving, the food came within a few minutes. The staff work extremely hard. Absolutely brilliant!!

Hands down, the best chinese I've had and over the years we've been to a lot of chinese restaurants in England. Lovely, fresh, tasty food. All came out quickly too which didn't compromise on quality. Lovely touches like opening cans of pop for our 2 little girls and bringing non alcoholic peach liqueur shots at the end of the meal so they felt included. Luckily, we got a table before people were queuing out the door to get in. Recommended dishes that we had for a family of 4 with 2 girls aged 9 and 6... Prawn crackers, duck pancakes and spring rolls to start followed by sweet and sour chicken cantonise style, beef and mushroom, salt and pepper prawns, chips, egg fried rice, special chow mein...yummy!

I was also here with John from Binley woods and I found the welcome and the service 2nd to none. I think the €12 meal with the included starter and drinks was very well worth it. After we paid, they even offered us an extra ice cream or coffee. We were in a bit of a rush and I’m not sure how that went down but I can highly recommend this place. Don’t expect it like the mixed curry you had at home, the special curry is a little bit different so you may want to add a curry sauce. The bottle of wine was very great, but we chose water instead. It slightly different to the Chinese you would have at home but it’s definitely worth value for money and a lovely experience.

Went here from Monday to Thursday this week as I was flying back on Friday. Nothing much was open that was serving food. Also last time when I was in Benidorm which was 2 years ago. I did say I would definley go back. I had a different dish each night. The service and food is quick. The food was really good. Next time I'm in Benidorm I'll return.

Highly recommend this authentic Chinese restaurant. It is always fairly busy if not packed which speaks for itself. The food is fresh and delicious. Exceptionally reasonable in terms of cost. We had 3 mains, one rice, bottle of wine, a vodka, water for the table and it was just over 40 Euro. Very good all rounder. The only thing I can fault is the restaurant is extremely hot but there are fans to help cool you down. Staff are quite friendly and I found the older gentleman very witty. We would most definitely return.

***Easy to see why the restaurant has so many five star reviews and is so popular with queues out the door*** In September 2023 we visited the China Garden in the evening. The restaurant was immaculately clean and was extremely busy with all nationalities, families, couples and large groups celebrating special occasions. There were lots of welcoming staff, who worked hard ensuring that tables were cleared quickly and meals served promptly. We ordered from the 3 course 9€ specials menu (including a bottle of wine between 2 people). On arrival we were met by a very friendly glamorous lady (welcomed us with "how are you darling?") who brought prawn crackers to the table and took our order. We ordered vegetable spring rolls to start, sweet and sour chicken balls and chilli chicken with sides of fried rice and chips. The food was nicely presented, tasted fantastic with lots of meat and fresh vegetables, and the portion sizes were more than adequate for us. We finished our meal with a coffee, followed by a liquor. The meal was fantastic value for money especially as it included a bottle of wine. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

Wow wow wow absolutely amazing decided to come here because I seen the reviews and you really don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to go. The place was buzzing full of everyone and meals flying out so quickly and staff working so hard. Got our meal so quick and drinks also, plus got prawn crackers sent straight to the table on arrival complimentary as everyone else also. Staff are so hard working and always make sure you are okay and if you need anything. All food was super hot and absolutely stunning. If you are considering please don’t hesitate. 7 dishes and also 4 drinks for €43 is an absolute bargain. Also at the end you get given a couple bottles to wash down your pallet with. Will be returning again before we leave.

La verdad que para mí sorpresa...todo muy bueno. Hemos ido toda la familia (8 personas) y hemos salido a 65 € por todo, todos menú individuales, menos uno ( que come muy poco). China Garden in Benidorm offers excellent service in a less-than-ideal setting, but the quality of the food is a major letdown. I recently had a meal at China Garden in Benidorm, and my experience was a real mix of highs and lows. The standout element of the visit was without a doubt the service. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff were fantastic—very quick and incredibly polite. I never felt forgotten at my table, which made the experience much more pleasant. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing special. The restaurant is quite cramped and can feel a little stuffy, which makes the space feel a bit uncomfortable. However, it wasn't so bad that it detracted significantly from my overall experience. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. The standard was very poor. The chicken rice dish was particularly unusual, as I found bones in the chicken, which I've never experienced before in this type of dish. The fried noodles had the distinct taste and texture of microwaved noodles, and the curry sauce was completely bland. In summary, while the service at China Garden is top-notch, the poor quality of the food and the cramped atmosphere make it a difficult place to recommend.

Wasn’t the worst but ultimately not the best either. Staff friendly and service quick. chicken noodle soup was tasteless, just noodles in water.

I ordered roast pork, since when has roast pork been like boil in the bag. It was very bland and tasted like something that Kerry Katona got from Iceland, frozen microwaved rubbish..... Pues fui hoy justamente, y sinceramente tardaron 1h en traernos la comida . El arroz frito estaba seco ,y duro , parecía precalentado . Los tallarines parecían crudos y el arroz con piña agri-picante sabía a ketchup con azúcar . El servicio eran majos pero la comida nada recomendada la verdad , al menos lo q probamos mis amigos y yo . Aunque me dijeron que habían venido aquí con sus padres y estaba todo mejor , no sé que pensar pero no volveré a comer aquí

Give this place a very wide berth ! We have been here many times the past few years and was so looking forward to returning. What a massive let down. The starters was the only good food to come out of the kitchen. Gloopy unflavoured special chow mein which needed half a bottle of soy sauce to flavour.a few mouthfuls in and couldn’t touch anymore. We let the older waitress, who we assumed to be owner know that it was tasteless. Then heard lots of shouting from the kitchen. Place looks so run down and scruffy. Won’t be returning.

Probably the worst Chinese food I ever had. I was terribly sick all night. I knew something wasn't right about the ribs, the bones smelled of very old and rancid and meat tasted bad. Hot and sour soup was extremely sweet, no mushrooms or meat at all. Beef was chewy and tasteless. Red wine of poorest quality (Matas Verde) Even fried rice was bellow average, Very little fried egg in it and nothing else. If this wasn't enough, the coffee indeed was the worst ever, as if was cooked all day long Turkish style, and all aroma was gone.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) We visited as a group of four and, unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing Chinese meals we’ve had. From the start, there were no familiar drinks like Tsingtao or Tiger beer available. The starters were poor — the soup was watery and bland, the siu mai average, and the salt & pepper ribs came as what appeared to be just two ribs chopped into tiny pieces. It felt very stingy. The mains were no better: the prawns tasted frozen and slightly off, the chicken curry was like a budget microwave meal, and the duck pancakes were thick, rubbery, and just unpleasant. We skipped dessert and left early. Overall, the food didn’t reflect the quality or authenticity we hoped for. We left feeling disappointed and won’t be returning.
