I've been going to Suzuran for sushi for at least 3-4 years. I think it's the best sushi à la carte in Bergamo! It's run by true sushi experts! Plus, it's great because they also make very good pizzas and other dishes, so if someone doesn't like sushi, they can easily order something else and be satisfied! Even at business lunches, I've always seen a lot of people! I recommend the mixed sashimi and the Tiger roll.

TOP restaurant!!! The food is excellent. The shrimp risotto is divine, the penne with shrimp, the Japanese food, the mixed seafood platter (squid, shrimp and octopus) and the desserts were all WONDERFUL!!! There was a waiting line, but it was well worth it, compensated by the quality of the service and the food. There is a variety to please all tastes. The staff are very friendly and polite. And, the restaurant is not expensive.
Suzuran is a restaurant serving Japanese and Italian cuisine à la carte. The restaurant is very well-kept and clean, and the staff is very kind and welcoming. The menu is varied, from Japanese appetizers to first and second courses with traditional desserts. It also offers Italian cuisine with pizza, appetizers, first and second courses. The quality of the cuisine is high, the dishes are excellent and the portions are generous. You can immediately taste the fresh fish, and the sushi is sublime, the best in Bergamo. The first courses are delicate and tasty, not heavy. For those who want to eat excellent Japanese food, this is a must. The price is fair, considering the excellent quality and abundance of the dishes... We usually order an appetizer for two, two first courses, a second course, and two sushi dishes with wine and water, and spend around 50 euros for two. During lunch on weekdays, there are both Japanese and Italian menus that don't exceed 13 euros total, including a first course, second course, and coffee. I recommend making reservations for dinner, even during the week; the restaurant is always busy. Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM If you want authentic Japanese food, you have to come here!

The food was good but not extraordinary. The sushi is not too expensive and the rice or steaks are also good. I like the restaurant and I go there almost always when I am in Bergamo.
The combination of foods here is really rather special, Italian and Japanese. Everything we had, from both menus was delicious. Service was a bit underwhelming and really very slow, but it was Saturday night and super busy. We'll worth a drop in though, especially for amazing sushi.

Very ok
The place is look cozy but service is bad, waiters funny and not attentive at all… I need to call them few times before they come to us. We tried pizza which was topping less and expensive!!! Sushi just average and expensive too. I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
