Gregoire is a great place for really good sandwhiches, salads and more. There is a couple of picnic tables next in case the weather is nice. Also a great option for grab n go!

My fried chicken sandwich was very tasty with perfectly prepared, moist, tender chicken and a French roll. The customers at the tables outside all had potato balls and were raving about them, so I tried these with Parmesan. The sandwich portion was large enough I wasn’t able to eat more than one of the potato balls, which were good if you like fried mashed potato. (Not my thing.). The fries looked even better. There were many different vegetarian sandwich options, and all sandwiches were available as salads. The outdoor seating was limited but pleasant. On a bad weather day you’d have to grab and go as there is no indoor seating. The staff were friendly, the service was quick.

IG: @foodsbysachi This spot is conveniently located right by campus and offers some delicious sandwiches, salads, and of course POTATO PUFFS!! Wow lemme tell you - they were worth the hype. So crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Their sandwiches are BIG and filled with so many fresh and delicious ingredients. The dessert was also super good - the chocolate fold pastry being my favorite 😍 Hands down will be visiting this cute spot again!! Note: Their menu changes every quarter so make sure to visit often to try all their items! They have limited indoor and outdoor seating and only street parking.

The potato puffs are to die for! I always get the gravy to dip them in- it’s sublime. Order ahead to pick up. We had a cauliflower tempura wrap with moroccan style carrots and raisins that was simply an incredible flavor combination. My teen loved it.

Two words: potato puffs! Such a delicious and unique twist on potatoes. The best way to describe them is like tiny crispy pockets of fried mashed potatoes. I also highly recommend the fried buttermilk sandwich with spicy slaw, beats any hot chicken sandwich. We also recommend trying the flank steak salad and garlic fries 🔥

Quaint hidden gem that serves French sandwiches and salads. Came here for a quick lunch before heading over to the airport. It’s primarily a takeout spot, but there were a couple of tables outside to sit and eat there. You can order online in advance and our food was ready in 20 minutes in a Monday around noon. The potato balls were super addicting with a crispy exterior, and mashed potato like interior. Paid extra for the garlic sauce and I would highly recommend doing that. My fried chicken sandwich was very filling and I saved half of it for lunch the following day. My friend really enjoyed his scallop salad and it is definitely a healthier option. This place would be good to pick up some food prior to doing a picnic and the packaging was very convenient, as it’s compostable.

I really enjoyed the food here! A local in the area recommended this place since they constantly have a rotating menu. You never know what they will have! They have a self-ordering kiosk window or you can order online for pickup/delivery. I lived for the Steak and Brie sandwich! Creamy rich brie cheese melted on top of tender steak and a sharp dijon mustard sauce. This was incredible! Three of my favorite ingredients packed inside of some good quality bread. Definitely worth the $16+ spent. My favorite though? DEFINITELY the potato puffs! They were so tender and delicate. The perfect mashed potato texture in the center. Dunk it in the yellow curry sauce? HEAVENLY! My only critique is that they're really heavily salted. I'm curious to try the different flavors of potato puffs in the future.

Wanted the best Fried Chicken Sandwich as we don't live here and since this was the 1st to pop up. Boy are we super glad, bestever. Had the sandwich was on point had the Poutine best I've ever had and the Potatoe Puffs we loved it all. Will be telling everyone about this lovely Gem. Super happy and satisfied. Will be back for sure and bringing people. Excellent and the people were also super friendly. Made our day and our dog, lol.

Absolutely delicious. Came for the potato puffs, which were great, but the duck confit sandwich and the mushroom quiche were the real stars. Service was friendly and, though the place was very busy, reasonably fast.

The food was great but for the price it’s not worth in my opinion. $30 for a chicken sandwich and sides is a bit much. Would otherwise rate it higher.

The quality of chicken sandwich has become average from excellent. It used to be one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere. I noticed they changed the bread which was soggy and lower quality than it used to be. The amount of slaw was very little and chicken was overly fried. I hope the owner brings back its original quality of excellence.

Gregoire the amazing chef for which this restaurant is named is a rockstar - set out on a mission to bring Michelin quality food in a $20 box. Over 20 years later it's obvious he made that a reality! The food: Get the quiche salad!! It's the best kept secret behind the fanfare of the fried chicken sandwich and potato puffs. The quiches are moist and cheesy so yum, with the pastry crust just yum. Every season it's a new quiche and every type has been a winner so far. Think there's only been one quiche I wasn't the biggest fan of and it was still pretty good. The best by far is the asparagus quiche. Sounds weird. but try it. Why 4 stars, is only because I've been there often enough to have had some inconsistencies in quality of food. Gregoire knows and is actively trying to address this. He doesn't believe in automation that could help with consistency but takes that soul away - of course it's harder to train people, but it's the right way to do food if you ask me

Very affordable; big poutine serving that you could easily share between two people. The only downside is that the cheese is not real authentic poutine cheese curds and seems more like granulated mozzarella bits. The potato puffs were nice. If I were to give a suggestion I’d ask them to look into getting a good pouding chomeur recipe and selling it in individual portions. Another Quebec dessert item that I’ve been missing. Satisfied my craving but still gonna be looking to find something more authentic. I can see why students would like going here.

Not sure if I caught them on an off day or workers were in a rush because it was somewhat close to closing. Chicken was bland, potato balls were crisp and fluffy on the inside, but were also under seasoned. The provided sauce helped a little. Lastly, the lamb wrap. I typically like my burgers and burritos wet and sauced up. But it did not work for the lamb wrap. The wrap used was like 1-ply toilet paper, zero absorption power, and quickly disintegrated into one big soggy mess.

Check your order and open your box before you leave. I trusted them, and my potato puff was one puff short, received 8 instead of 9. I arrived in person at 11:15 and was told in person order starts at 11:40 when they opened. However, they accept online orders before 11:30 so there I stood in front of the staff on my app ordering food to go. Interesting way of balancing technology and customer service. Credit card surcharge back to the customer.
