Opinions de Thai Table Berkeley
This place is so amazing! My family suffers from celiac disease and so it's always great to find somewhere that can accommodate our diet. Nearly everything on their menu can be made gluten free and they were very knowledgeable about cross contamination prevention practices. Staff was amazing, food was amazing. Highly recommend this place!
Was in the North Berkeley area and was looking up places to eat for dinner. It was a Saturday night and some places close fairly early and others have wait lists, on Yelp there was availability so we walked over from where we were at and they were able to seat our party of 2 and we didn’t have to sign up. It was very festive with party/club like music and busy! There was indoor and outdoor seating but it was cold outside and more of a waiting area. There’s street parking in a pretty busy main area. We started with the Sai Aou- Pork Sausage, Thai Papaya Salad (less spicy than Lao), then ordered Panang Curry with Beef (slow cooked) I saw lots of people review this one. It honestly reminded me of Filipino Kare Kare. And we ordered a side of roti (so good to dip) and Pad See Ew with Chicken. My friend ordered a Thai tea and it was very tea/floral. Everything was really good and delicious! Definitely hit the Thai food craving! Lively, colorful, and bright inside! We were able to easily split the bill and they had a handheld machine to pay.
Tasty food ate within a beautiful ambiance as my wife and I celebrated our 10 yr relationship anniversary. That was our waitress that is pictured below. I had Pad See Ew and I can't remember what my wife had. However, she had an entree that had alot of seafood. We mouth enjoyed our meals. Oh..we had wings, but I was not a fan.
We came on Saturday evening for dinner. I’ve never been here. We came to do a little food tasting possibly use them for catering for an event. So the moment you get there you join a waitlist to be seated. The restaurant was busy but we didn’t have to wait for too long. We waited maybe 8-10 minutes and we were seated. The restaurant is not that big but maybe they have an area for big parties? I’m not sure. However, the ambiance is cute, cozy, and inviting. I love the accent wall, it’s picture worthy. Now, let’s talk about the food. We didn’t just order one or two appetizers we ordered four and I highly recommend them: crispy shrimp roll, spicy chicken wings, crispy tofu over peanut sauce, and Roti bread (which I can eat all day). Everything tasted so fresh and like off the stove. We also order a few dishes: Nam Khao lettuce wrap, crab fried rice, pumpkin curry with chicken and Pad Thai of course. I don’t know if I was hungry or what but everything was delicious. I never had Nam Khao which is a crispy rice with Chinese sausage and crispy pork. I loved it! It is like an explosion ingredients in my mouth so tasty. The price: I was surprised we ordered so much food and we spent less than $200. We even had cocktail drinks and dessert. Mango Sticky on point! I don’t know about you but I felt like I was eating some really good food but also sort of healthy. I recommend this place 100 percent.
Delicious Thai food known for its amazing decor and gorgeous plating. Their food is flavorful and the staff are very kind. Would recommend their basil eggplant and pad see ew. Their pad thai was what you expect and standard, nothing extraordinary or elevated but still tasty. I also didn't enjoy their sticky rice as much as their normal rice. Seating can be tight, so I would recommend you join the waitlist on Yelp, but they have a beautiful interior and a few tables outside. The staff are absolutely the best part of the experience. They checked in on us frequently and were very welcoming, introducing a whole section of specials!
We came here for lunch during a midweek to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Beautiful restaurant with excellent customer service! This restaurant puts a FRESH spin to each of their traditional Thai dishes, making every meal a unique and exciting experience. Flexible seating for larger groups. Since we visited during lunch time, the space was extra bright, and airy. Immaculate plating presentation and delicious mock-tail drinks. I do recommend ordering mild if you have a lower tolerance for spice. The staff went all out to help us celebrate my sister’s bday, which is beyond our expectations. They added a festive sparkler candle on the sticky mango dessert and even took a Polaroid photo as a memorabilia keepsake of our birthday gal! Thank you so much!! We will definitely visit again!
I'm glad I decided to visit this great restaurant. Food was excellent. So many great choices. I recently heard so much about papaya salad, so I tried it out, so good. If you're into spicy food, this dish definitely has that. I was sweating through it but I couldn't stop eating it. Music was not too loud and comfortable enough to talk. Great place for a dinner date.
An exquisite blend of flavors, textures, and stunning presentation awaits. Each dish is a unique surprise, turning every meal into an inspiring experience. It's the perfect setting to savor the moment, whether you're dining alone or sharing it with cherished company. Had lunch and dinner and will be back soon 💕
Delicious! Fast service and yummy food in a cute atmosphere. Definitely would come back.
Would 100% recommend eating here. We had the yellow curry with no potato, fresh spring rolls, basil eggplant with tofu and jasmine rice. The food was literally some of the best food that I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and clean the service was great. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The only thing I wish I would’ve added was a Thai tea, but it was too late and I didn’t want to drink caffeine. If you’re in Berkeley and like Thai food, you will not regret coming here. Also super reasonable pricing for the quality and the portions.
Quite literally the best Thai food I have had in the east bay. Very fresh ingredients, great flavors, great portions, affordable, super friendly-attentive staff and truly a fine presentation. Also love that they have tons of vegan options that are well labeled! And I have to mention that I feel like they use less oil and/or a higher quality oil than most places I go, so I just feel better after. I have eaten at over 10+ different Thai spots in the bay looking for the best all around and after finding it now will fill my Thai cravings here every time even though it’s a bit far from me. Thanks for the amazing grub and experience Thai Table.
The food here is really amazing and would highly recommend. The layout is a little bit strange as there's a table right in the doorway and you kind of have to stand there before they notice you. Also, in order to get to your table you kind of have to maneuver around a bunch of people. So if it's crowded, definitely not recommended for wheelchairs. The service was pretty average. Nothing amazing or terrible just did their job and only had to get their attention once towards the end as they never cleared our plates or gave us the bill. They have a pretty wide selection in the menu so easy to find stuff from no spice to spicy So easy to please a wide assortment of people. Plenty of street parking so definitely not an issue and it's right next to the downtown grid. So plenty of walking to nearby shops and dessert places. Would highly recommend for a date night or casual night with friends.

Amazing, flavorful food with top level presentation. They are very good at communicating. Wonderful Thai shop, beautiful themed decorum. They treat everybody warm and with respect. The staff is so accommodating. Even when they are rushed, they bring out quality food to the standards of Thai cooking. It's a pleasure
My friends & I just had the most wonderful meal at this restaurant tonight. Our server, Jack, really went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience. Thanks for having us & for the delicious food. I really loved the roti and yellow curry, the pineapple fried rice & Thai tea. I’ll look forward to returning soon
It's a nice little place, pretty inside, friendly and accommodating staff. Generally the food's been quite good here, though last time the pork was overcooked and dry in my pad Thai, thigh the rest was delicious. I've loved the eggplan dishes too, too. It's popular, so make reservations, or be prepared to wait.
I love this place. Jack was an amazing server and made the whole experience even better with his enthusiasm and positive energy. He was attentive without being overbearing and made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that kind of attitude goes a long way. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Jack checked in at just the right times and made sure everything was to my liking. Great food paired with outstanding hospitality made this a really enjoyable visit.

Delicious food, great portions and gorgeous decor! The perfect spot for date night or to catch up with friends. The staff is very helpful and friendly, everything they recommended was amazing - my favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and the sweet coconut black sticky rice with fresh mango 🤤

Great experience came here late night for dinner after an aggressive happy hour Was nice to walk in with the ambience and good vibes! Got some help from people sitting nearby that were clearly regulars on what to order! Full of flavor and authentic thai flavors always makes me so happy! The lettuce wraps were perfection and I would get them over and over. Khao sao was creamy and tasty!

I made a reservation at 7:30 and still waited about 20 mins before getting seated. Food is really good. Our favorites are the Tom Yum Seafood soup and papaya salad. The food here is very flavorful.
Having a hard time understanding their current rating of 4.3. Three of us had dinner there on Saturday, December 14, at 6 pm. When we were seated, one couple was more than halfway through their meal, a second couple had already received their food. No other tables were occupied. For some reason, it took a really long time for them to take our order. We waited 15 minutes after we had studied the extensive menu, and decided what we wanted, for someone to take our order. The food came reasonably quickly, though. I tasted three of the 4 dishes we ordered. Sweet Pumpkin Curry Puffs (2.5/5): They are described as “pastry puffs filled with sweet pumpkin and potato”. I ate 2 pieces. The first had more potato than pumpkin; there was one large piece of pumpkin, so the flavor was not evenly distributed. The second piece had 95% potato and a few shreds of pumpkin. I’m sure all the pieces are not like that, but it speaks to very poor execution on the kitchen. On a day where there wasn’t any kind of rush. Red curry with beef (2.5/5): The curry was watery like soup, and sweet. In my book, red curry has no business being sweet. Panang curry, maybe, but not red. And even though my friend had specified medium spicy, it was neither spicy nor flavorful. Chili Lemongrass Lamb Sizzling stir-fried (4/5): This is what I ordered. As the name suggests, it was nicely spicy. And I liked the flavor a lot. But I can still only give it 4 stars. One, in the middle I got one bite which had a grape-size lump of undissolved stir-fry paste. That concentrated flavor in my mouth was not pleasant at all. And again speaks to very poor execution on the kitchen. Two, my dish contained three separate pieces of unchewable meat. That’s absurd. Portions were really good. The brown rice was excellent, and a good quantity again. The Cabernet Sauvignon, at $9 a glass, was acceptable. They had the music turned up loud enough that I couldn;t hear my friends across the table. When I requested that the volume be turned down a bit, she said yes, but it wasn't actually turned down. I really can't understand why restaurants keep the music so loud as to preclude conversation. And why they didn't fix it, even after we asked. I can probably be persuaded to try them one more time, since I did really enjoy my dish.

I actually came here a while back with my friend and her husband to try the food for their wedding menu. The food at the restaurant was great, which is why we all trusted them for catering. But after what happened at the actual wedding, I feel like people should know. The tasting here was delicious, big enough portions, fresh, and hot. The owner also promised us the same quality for the wedding day, plus big portions with refills. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. The wedding food came out cold, the portions were tiny, and there were no refills at all. It was nothing like what we tasted in the restaurant. What bothered us the most wasn’t even the food but how unprofessional and irresponsible the owner was afterward. My friend emailed her with all the feedback (from multiple people) and she completely ghosted us. No apology, no explanation, nothing. For a wedding, that kind of communication is the bare minimum. I still think the restaurant food itself is good, but the inconsistency and the fact that the wedding food didn't match what we tried here really broke our trust. Just a heads up for anyone considering using them for catering based on how good the restaurant food is.
Do not eat here. This place used to be so good. Had the best tom yum in town. Now it's terrible. Bland and has tiny shrimp for way too much money. Pad see ew was inedible and burnt with flakes of black specs in it. Not the good wok charred kind. They will not stay in business long if they keep this up.
