Opinions de Chef Ming's Kitchen Beverly Hills
The crispy tangerine beef was so good! Not many places offer crispy beef so we were ecstatic to find one and it did not disappoint. The portion fed both me and my partner for around 20$ which is a steal in my opinion.
Heard about this place from a Chinese food travel blogger on 小红书(little red book) chinese social media. So being in Beverly Hills for a visit I decided to pop in and try some dim sum as was talked about. I got number 8 steamed dim sum combination. Excellent as far as that goes! Grabbed some almond cookies on the way out so unsure of taste. Friendly staff and nice service for eating in. It's quaint and has the feel of a hidden gem chinese restaurant with lots of western faves. Definitely a good idea if you are alone on a Sunday night and hungry in LA.
Food was yummy. I got the chicken lo mein, chicken pan fried potstickers (but they seemed more like deep fried instead of pan fried to me, so next time I would get them steamed) and the char siu bao. Everything was really yummy and ready on time from when I placed my phone order.
I love Chef Ming's! This was our third time here and it's been great every time. The portions are great, food is always great, the prices are totally fair, and my favorite part is they always put a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the bag so the whole stack of food is really sturdy. I appreciate that lol! See you again soon for sure
Awesome! Fast and Delicious! I order from here all the time. They are also on Uber Eats or you can call them and they will deliver.

BEST CHINESE TAKEOUT IN LOS ANGELES! My favorite dish is their Crispy Honey Shrimp With Walnuts. Another must have is their Chicken Dumpling Potstickers. I love their Sweet and Sour Pork as well as their Moo Shoo Pork. Almost forgot about the Spicey Crispy Beef. The food has so much flavor and its prep is very consistent. I have always grabbed my food to-go. Check them out!
Chef ming has moved to Doheny , and Olympic. They are next to the north west side of Doheny. Best to park on Doheny . They have the best Chinese food in the city, tastes healthy low sodium, and clean. Enjoy be kind it's a family run business. Kind humble people.
Honestly we've just had the sizzling rice soup but we've come back for it several times. It's hard to find a place that makes it good, and the sizzling rice soup is excellent here!

Good Chinese food. You can order without MSG. Owner was nice and gave me homemade hot sauce.
Small take out place they cook it to order. Nice friendly people. The lunch special was good. Ordered the mongolian beef and the lemon chicken.

We ordered 2 specials, wontons & potstickers. Total was about $82. I personally enjoyed the sesame chicken special. My family member couldn't stomache her special she ordered, she ended up becoming sick. My food was very good though, I had no problems.
Update: beware they use dairy milk in Thai tea, even when you specifically tell them you are allergic to dairy and need coconut milk. Honestly my favorite vegan options on a menu in Los Angeles! Great for plant-based options. Fresh and authentic - if you have a food replacement request for dietary needs you can let them know on delivery order. They are very accommodating for vegans - best Chinese hands down.

Well this place is going downhill. Ordered Mongolian beef combo and this is what I got, a small container full of onions and 3 small pieces of meet. No rice was included either. They should just call it "Mongolian onion"

Very disappointed in the spicy salty wings. Had not been there in years and decided to stop in. The wings are pretty bad, very dry and chewy. They breaded them in the past but now it’s a thick and not so tasty batter. Not good at all!
Imagine paying $22 for an entree of Orange Beef and they don't include white rice with it. When, in the history of mankind in America, do you remember buying an entree of Chinese food and not getting white rice with it? Keep in mind, and this is very important: a restaurant like Chef Ming's, is buying white rice by giant bag...a bag the size of a pillowcase. On a per entree basis, it would cost them about $0.08 for a side of rice. And instead, they are making you pay an additional charge for it. Before COVID, I ordered a small hot and sour soup from Chef Ming. It was $3.95. I ordered it all the time. They have the audacity, in 2025, to change $10.99 for that same soup today. Adios
I really wanted to like this place, but it’s just ok. First I wanna say that the fried rice tasted terrible. I felt like I was eating old rice that was stale. There was definitely something wrong with it. The lo mein was good though. I also got chicken wings because I love Asian chicken wings and I get that when I order Chinese back east but these chicken wings were not good. I’m gonna keep searching for the best Chinese food in town. I didn’t even take pictures. It wasn’t even worth it.

It no good. Owners real nice people. Very clean. food no good. I go to pick up my order and they are supposed to be open but closed police every where the entire front windows to the restaurant are smashed out. It happened two times when I go. I scared. I go no more. I never get food either time. I call to get refund they never call back. I say no go. If you like sushi crazy fish across the streets pretty good if you do not have a sophisticated palate.
What a mess. Accepted an order. Made us wait 2 hours and then suddenly canceled. If this is the way that they treat customers then I shudder to think about how they prepare their food.

Got food poisoning from this place , ordered pork with veggies and orange chicken and it was very disgusting, everything tasted off and I didn’t even finish my plate I had to stop eating because my stomach started hurting , my wife went to the restroom all the way in the back of the kitchen and told me that they had some many dirty dishes and oil/grease on the floor , would not recommend very disgusting place and food gave me so much pain
I went to this restaurant today Sunday. I'm not going again. Never was I asked how the food was? Never was I asked if I needed water. The table was dirty. The food doesn't have the chinesse flavor you would expect, a TV dinner would be better for a lot less of your money. I was wondering why no one was eating there except me and probably it is because they know better. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. I'm new in the area so I'm learning the hard way. Where else do they serve your food in plastic trays? To go is fine, but I like to eat out of a plate when I set down at a restaurant and I'm paying enough that I should at least eat from a decent plate not some throw away trays. This is very scary! In the 80's I used to live here in LA and there was some great chinesse food around- things have gone down hill. Sorry to rant so much but please don't waste your money and time.
