If you can get a reservation, enjoy Sensei Yusuke Yamamoto presence and skills. It was like watching an artist perfect plan, craft, display in real time. The best omakase in LA is unfortunately leaving end of October 2025 - back to Japan and then Switzerland (private chef). He shared about his two young kids back home (Japan) and he and his wife want to make the best life for his girls. Thank you Chef for an amazing experience
Chef Yamamoto has a beautiful story to tell and his food reflects it. Thank you so much for the most memorable experience. This used to be Chef Urasawa’s space and it has been preserved. I was so pleased to see that the special wood countertop has not been changed. The food is very special but the alcohol pairing is even more special. So if you are planning to come here, make sure you get the alcohol pairing. It elevates the food to a whole different level. The chef and the staff are extremely gracious and that makes for a phenomenal experience. The Sake is some of the best I have ever had. We started the food with a beautiful barbecued smoky tilefish in a homemade tortilla. It was absolutely delicious and it set the tone for the entire meal. Some of the highlights were the Astrea Caviar Toro, the abalone soup which came after the Awabi-abalone, the kegani-hairy crab, uni-sea urchin, and the A5 Wagyu beef was the most phenomenal beef I have ever had. I was concerned that the food would not be enough to make us full but to my surprise, by the end of the meal we were pretty full. My husband does not enjoy sake so they recommended different wines that he really enjoyed. This was a very expensive dinner, but this is a once in a lifetime experience. I would only ask that chef Yamamoto adds to the courses to justify the price. I highly recommend this restaurant for a very special evening.

Absolutely wonderful. On top of the great food, the chef and staff were extremely kind and friendly. A little hard to spot, it is in two rodeo shopping complex. The elevator to the 2nd floor will take you straight up, there's a sign on the one to use.

Came here for the Bento, not Omakase* Unagi-freshwater eel- 很不錯 算是正常omakase的等級 Pretty good! Solid quality, similar to what you’d expect from a standard omakase. Tender and flavorful. Sawara-japanese seerfish- 這個我覺得很普通 沒展現出來魚的品質 用了不對的醬汁Honestly felt pretty average. The fish didn’t shine, and the sauce choice didn’t help make it better…it kind of clashed with the natural flavor. Kegani-hairy crab- 特別好吃 很細膩 This was amazing. Super delicate and refined esp how it came with a clean sweetness. One of the highlights for sure. Fried Pacific Oyster- 這個應該是我的最愛 每口外脆內軟 嫩嫩的!Might be my favorite dish of the night! Crispy on the outside, soft and juicy inside. Every bite was perfect. Toro Astrea Caviar- 正常發揮 Taka's lamayuki Maguro Chu-Toro, Oh-Toro, Akami- 好吃是好吃 但感覺擺盤差點意思 Good, but I expected more. Quality was there, but nothing surprising or memorable. Kinmedai-goldeneye snapper- 天啊 好嫩好有嚼勁!!Wow!!! Super tender yet still had that satisfying chew. Super impressed with this one! Kanpachi-amber jack- 一樣 這邊的魚都很有嚼勁 非常的厚實 味道肯定好 Thic cut, firm texture, and really flavorful. Fish here is generally high quality. Sayori-needlefish- 還可以 Just okay. Nothing wrong with it, but didn’t really stand out either. Amaebi-sweet shrimp- 超好吃 甜蝦就是要這樣新鮮 Delicious! Super fresh and naturally sweet. This is how sweet shrimp should taste. Uni-sea urchin & Hotate-scallop- 是好吃的 不過價格就是擺這樣 應該就是要這樣的等級 Both were fresh and tasty. Not mind-blowing, but good enough for the price point. Sakuraebi Soba Noodles- 很不錯 櫻花蝦好脆 好香唷 Really enjoyed this! The sakura shrimp were extra crispy and fragrant, and the soba had a nice bite. Dessert Crown Melon Iee Cream- 也太小氣 只給一塊🤦♀️沒拍照片因為真的好誇張 希望可以改進 這個價格不應該給這麼小的 They only gave one tiny cube of melon…..i didn’t even bother taking a photo because it was honestly kind of shocking. At this price, the dessert should be way better.

Worth 7 stars Omakase experience. It was such an unforgettable experience. My friend and I cried at chef Yusuke san’s outstanding Omakase course. His best friend Teppei san is the best sommelier that I’ve ever met. Chef Kazu san’s soba is also amazing too! Definitely my most favorite restaurant in the world. Although it’s all Omakase style , “ Enzo Roll “ is a must try after your course, seems a secret menu. I’m sure they will receive at least 2 stars Michelin or maybe 3 stars in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Worth 7 stars Omakase experience. It was such an unforgettable experience. My friend and I cried at chef Yusuke san’s outstanding Omakase course. His best friend Teppei san is the best sommelier that I’ve ever met. Chef Kazu san’s soba is also amazing too! Definitely my most favorite restaurant in the world. Very disappointing overall. For $400+ per person, the food quality and experience did not justify the price. The chef was frequently absent from the counter; there was lots of presentation, but the taste was lacking. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately it didn’t make up for the food. Easily the most disappointing omakase we’ve had. It was hard to understand how something at this price point could deliver so poorly. Not recommended at all.
