Super fresh bread and ingredients. My 1st visit here since I moved up and I am not disappointed. It was super delicious and the staff was very very friendly. Hard working people making tons of sandwiches to fill online orders. It's definitely a must if your ever up in big bear and want a yummy sandwich.
Been to the subway many times and had some bad experiences but I decided to give it a new try because I heard there was a new manager and I have to tell you I will definitely be back Nikki's awesome I was greeted when I came in everything looked fresh and delicious and the bread was really good hopefully they can keep up the good work cuz I will definitely be coming back in
I stopped here for a quick meal. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Nicky, the store manager, was also welcoming and accommodating.
Justin pulido, may 8, 2023: I arrived to a lovely staff that acknowledged us right away! It has been quite some time since I have been here since most the reviews where BAD! NOT THESE GUYS! Brandon and Arianna where amazing and absolutely on there game! I will definitely come back for more as the food came out almost as good as there service! Wonderful crunch and evenly spread toppings made my lunch hour immaculate! Thank you Brandon and arianna!
I like subway this is the most good subway I like and I hear about the manager Nikki she came back and now the atmosphere of subway is good and cleanliness is also good in subway
Visited two times with larger parties, both times was greeted by the manager. Very kind and patient when taking my orders for my team. I ordered the Holiday TURHAMKEN! lol it’s turkey, Black Forest ham, and chicken with cranberry sauce and stuffing and I added jalapeños! The heat and sweet is soooo goood
Went to Subway & Nicole, helped us out.... She was very nice & professional & made very good sandwiches..... I had the Meatball Marinara with a cup of Potato Soup......It was delicious & everything was hot & fresh..... My dad had a roast beef sandwich.... With a bunch of veggies on it..... And he was very impressed on his as well..... It is much better service than it used to be & much fresher product than before..... We will definitely be going back again & soon😀
Came in this weekend and nikki and the gentleman working with her were great my sandwich was great bread was soft veggies looked good they suggested the best sauce for my sandwich one of the best subways I have been to in long time. Was told nikki was the new manager and she even checked with me if my sandwich was good when she came out in lobby to clean.

Sandwiches were good, but they made an error on the bill that we had to go back and correct. Eating area was clean, restrooms were not, and out of towels in men's room. Wanted to tell this to staff, but they seemed a bit stressed already. Garbage cans were full to overflowing. Staff was friendly, but someone was not able to keep pace with the housekeeping needs.
Only one person was working there, and there was a line. I have been to many Subways. I like Subway and have been to Subways with only one person working. Typically when the person making a sandwich takes an order and they want their sandwich toasted while it's toasting for 30 seconds they start the order of the next person in line then when they take the sandwich out of the oven to put the veggies on it they put the next person's sandwich in the oven it's beats things up at least 30 seconds per customer take that * 10 customers that's 5 minutes faster but this person making the sandwiches Twisted there and weighted for the toaster oven to finish and then and then finish that person sandwich. It's totally inefficient at this particular shop.

Unfortunately I was there at 7:30 pm and online they close at 8:00 pm and the worker already closed up. Upper management should have a say in this as if you want to close early then just post it as I drove all the way from our cabin to Subway just to find out the worker closed early because of who knows why and probably it’s slow and I get it but if every fast food closes early then you will start getting a bad name out then, I only ask to fix the issue so if I come tomorrow evening it will be open during business hours and once again it was not five minutes before closing it was thirty minutes before closing, so you have one unhappy customer.
Visited Big Bear with my friend and it was the only Subway in the area and when we went in the place was disgusting, the food was laying out with no cover, they were very rude, the bread was dry as hell, and when we checked out they were very uncleanly and I could smell their B.O from behind the register. Probably won’t ever eat there again unless they get new management and staff… i’d hate to see what the restrooms look like.
Toasted turkey sandwich. I ordered it online and picked it up. The bread was stale. They forgot to put the mayonnaise on it and it just tasted horrible.
So I’ve been going since new management took over. ( the last owner kept hiring really strange individuals and the place was always disgusting). I’ve been happy with my food for the most part. Buttttt, the last 2 times I’ve gone, the ice machine spits out mold with its ice. I haven’t gone back since the last time. I feel like, if there is mold in the ICE how clean are the topping containers? And it’s usually really hot in there. Hours are inconsistent and seem to cater to the tourist.
Stopped by to try to get something to eat with my family. I will first say that the place was filthy and we had to wipe off our table all tables were dirty although there were no customers. The server with black and green braids had an attitude. She was very short with us and not friendly she definitely wasn't patient, didn't give us time so we can think of what to order. Then I told her I had the buy one get free coupon on the app and she clearly didn't wanted to make the order when I asked she just said that they haven't received the order when I was charged on the app. The worst customer service by the manager which of course they didn't wear no name tags. They are not a clean restaurant aren't professional and they need to work on there customer service skills if you want to continue to run a business, you should do the best go above and beyond for the customer because without customer's you don't have a business. The workers inside refused to wear name tags or give names. Nothing but attitude from the start. They don't give you no napkins and also had an accident a spill of one of our drinks, and apparently, they don't have any towels for spills. They just gave me napkins I'm like really. I don't recommend this store, and I hope she gets the karma she deserves. Worst experience ever from this location. Will definitely not return to this location. Would rate this location a Zero, but it doesn’t let me.
I used to work for Subway in Texas and this is probably the Worst Subway Ever. They have no training on portion sizes. Every one of our subs had 1/3 of the meat it's supposed to. The staff was not attentive nor professional. We didn't realize that the food was made so poorly until we got to our destination and since we were on vacation we were not going to drive back to the store so we filed a complaint online and after a month they still have never even responded to me so here's this bad review with a picture of one of the subs.
This is by far the worst establishment on the mountain. One employee during lunch and they're out of all the breads but wheat. This place needs to be shut down
This was our first time visiting, and we decided to place an online order since we were ordering eight subs. We allowed plenty of time for preparation, but when we arrived to pick up the order, the employee was extremely rude. She had a nasty attitude and said, “When you flood us with this many subs, don’t expect them to be done ASAP.” Unfortunately, every sub was made incorrectly. The chicken tasted more like tuna, and the vegetables were old and unappetizing. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT GO HERE.
They can't get an order right and the sandwich is subpar at best. Where are the vegetables? They didn't toast it, they didn't even cut it in half! They didn't greet us when we came in for our pickup, shouldn't have trusted them to make a sandwich without us watching. They got the bread wrong too on the second sandwich. I asked for lettuce and spinach....would it have hurt to put more than a PINCH of lettuce? Ridiculous. Not worth $10 for each sub!! Deleting the app, I'm sick of horrible experiences at every Subway we go to (full-time travelers). This was the final straw, this place did us dirty twice, we won't make it a third time.

Toasted turkey sandwich. I ordered it online and picked it up. The bread was stale. They forgot to put the mayonnaise on it and it just tasted horrible.
I placed an order online to be ready at 12:45 and it's currently 12:55 and I haven't received any food yet.
Terrible place, slow, and the food was not kept cold. Took time bite, threw away, saving the family from a food borne illness.
