Best paella we've ever tasted! Can only recommend this restaurant sooo much, the food is absolutely delicious. We had the mixed seafood and chicken paella and it was impeccable. Amazing flavour, plenty of seafood and chicken and good portion size. Service was wonderful as well and we appreciated the warm bread to start with. Not the cheapest maybe but worth every penny! When we're next in Marbella, we are definitely coming back :)

Lots of attention to details makes this place special. Our plate came warm, together with bread. The pistachio mushrooms were amazing as a starter. The paella is good but I would recommend the Arroz de Marisco instead. The Tinto Limon is also amazing. Great recommendation.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner at such a nice place! We ordered delicious sangria and two kinds of paella with seafood - everything was just great. The atmosphere is very cozy, inviting to a leisurely evening. Delicious bread with butter at the beginning - a small thing, but very pleasant. Service at the highest level: attentive, unobtrusive and with a smile. Thank you for the taste and mood, we will definitely come back!

So good I ate everything. If you don't want tourist trap food come here. We ordered mixed Paella and squid ink pasta. All I can say is I licked all my fingers after lunch and I used a fork to eat the whole time the food was that good I had to lick my fingers too. Definitely recommended.

Before I travel to Spain, I research the best place for paella in the area we were visiting, and this one came up as one of the best. It did not disappoint. The salads were amazing, the food was beyond delicious and the staff and owner were so charming. the ambience was perfect and we were able to talk and laugh and cry and had an absolute fantastic time!

Great experience at this restaurant in Marbella which specializes in paella. We came quite early, at 20:30, and had a reservation. When we arrived, it was rather empty but it filled up over time. They have a nice garden/outside area and the inside is stylish and modern but it doesn’t feel sterile and has character. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. We had the paella valenciana and were very happy with our choice. It is freshly prepared, comes in an authentic paella pan and tasted amazingly, where you can really see the attention to detail, care and quality of ingredients that go into making it. It was definitely one of the best paellas I’ve ever had. Portion sizes are huge and despite our best efforts we were not able to finish it all but they happily gave us a bag for having the rest for take-away. The service is very attentive, friendly and fast too, so no complaints whatsoever. The prices are relatively high but fair for what you get. I can only recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat authentic and delicious paella in Marbella.

March 2023 update - We’ve been going to Paellas y Más for over (6) 9 years now - outstanding quality in the kitchen and service, noticeable attention to detail, it just never disappoints. Great ambiance, either indoor or out in the terrace. The chef-owner Javier knows both the kitchen and the business very well, he runs all aspects of the business so well that he’s been able to maintain the quality of the Paellas y Más experience at an outstanding level consistently for so many years and throughout the pandemic. Very few restaurants manage to achieve this. This is one of the best restaurant experiences to be enjoyed in the Costa del Sol, and having travelled the world extensively for the last 25 years, it is easily in the top percentile of the best restaurant experiences globally. Kudos to Javier and his outstanding team!

My wife and I had the best vegetarian paella we ever had. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the wine. Javier, the owner runs a tight ship and it shows in its amazing staff and look of the place. I absolutely recommend this gourmet restaurant to anybody who wants to have a great paella in a great ambiance.

Buen arroz, cobraron el cubierto a 2.5€ persona, y el agua 3.5€ cada botella individual. La racion de arroz 26€ bien.

We made a reservation for 19:30, which was when the restaurant opened, so it was quite empty when we arrived. However, customers started coming in as time went by, so making a reservation in advance was a good call. We ordered shrips - absolutely delicious! They arrived very hot, sizzling, and were really tasty. The Paella Valenciana was large for two people; we couldn't finish it all. I also had the impression that the meat wasn't cooked enough - it was hard to pull off the bone, but maybe that's how it should be. Despite that, it was very flavorful, really good. The restaurant charges a 2.90 cover charge per person, but for that price we got a starter of three bread rolls (one per person) and olive oil. However, the bread arrived so incredibly hot that you couldn't touch it, let alone eat it! :D The waiter serving us didn't seem to speak English very well, so we just ordered what we came for and left it at that. Overall, very clean and good quality. Minor cons: The drink sizes were disappointing - a 20cl bottle of Sprite is quite small; other restaurants at this price point offer more. My wife really liked it - the decor, etc. Ask me: I won't be returning, personally.

Excellent outdoor area with a nice table setting. Service was good for the most part. We had arrived early so they may have been busy getting ready. Orders the mushrooms and pistachio, delicious! Pork kebabs were great, but a few pieces were undercooked. The paella we had had the mixed seafood, excellent flavors!

Los arroces son para turistas. Ahí está todo dicho. El sitio es muy bonito, el servicio correcto. Pero si la comida falla... Mal andamos. No se, si el resto de la carta está mejor, pero lo arroces.. va a ser que no. Un arroz auténtico, tiene como mucho 1 cms de alto, y este tenía como 3 o 4. Cuando lo trajeron y vi el tamaño de la paellera, pensé.. mal andamos. Y de precio del arroz, como si fuese bueno bueno.

Correcto sin más. Pedimos una tabla de quesos que quizá por el precio era algo escueta. Al arroz le sobraban unos minutos de cocción y no tenía mucho sabor, con el allioli mejoraba un poco. El sitio es chulo y amplio, es está tranquilo. El servicio no fue muy rápido y a nosotros no se nos mencionaron los platos fuera de carta a diferencia de otras mesas. Los postres bastante simples para el precio que tienen. En general la relación calidad/precio no fue del todo satisfactoria, aunque seguro que otro dia pudo haber sido mejor.

La verdad es que nuestra visita anterior hace un par de años fue bastante más satisfactoria que la de esta vez. Pedimos un arroz del señorito para 5. Estaba en su punto, pero bastante insípido (teniendo en cuenta que se trata de una arrocería, que el Arroz esté soso no es lo que uno espera). Eso si, la ración fue muy generosa He encontrado en otros sitios arroces más sabrosos y de calidad similar a por un precio inferior, es una pena que hayan bajado

Our expectations for the food taste was not met. The paella did not have any taste. The zorzella also have flat taste. The shrimp croquette was too bad in taste. The mushroom with pistachio was great. Also the artichokes are good. The service and ambience are good. I was told that we will taste the best paella in marbella which is not true it was without taste.

El servicio está bien pero la comida es malísima. El pollo más seco que me he comido en mi vida fue en este restaurante, peor que si lo hubiera hecho yo en casa. Si no fuera por el buen servicio le pondría 1 estrella en vez de 2. Con esos precios y la baja calidad, es una trampa turista total.

Sitio tranquilo y acogedor. Personal correcto. Pedimos champiñones al ajillo de pistachos y paella mixta de pollo y verduras. Los champiñones estaban bien, originales con la mezcla de pistachos. Pero la paella... Lo siento, pero no. En un sitio que se anuncia como especializado en arroces, no se puede servir uno ya pasado, en una paellera con 2-3 dedos de arroz (obviamente, sin su socarrat) y con literal todas las verduras de la nevera aparte del pollo: calabacín, berenjena, pimiento rojo, champis, coliflor, aceitunas, etc. El precio fue de algo más de 50€ para una paella de 2. No fue lo que esperábamos. Una pena, la verdad.

Lamentable la paella y también lamentable el servicio.... Solo el gin tonic es bueno... Bah... No se como pueda tener tanta 5 estrella! Esta noche lleno de turista que claro entienden todo meno que de paella... No le meto una estrella porque es limpio... Porque es l unica. Nota positiva por lo demás 1 estrella es asta mucho... De verdad lamentable todo !! Estamos en 4 y solo el perro esta contento... Repito no se como pueda tener tanta 5 estrella

Pésimo, no debería tener el título de "arrocería" porque ni se le asoma Típico arroz con cosas, literal, pedí una PAELLA de pollo con verduras y mi sorpresa fue ver qué contenía aceitunas (y no de decoración, sino sumergidas en sus dos dedos de arroz), ramilletes de coliflor, garbanzos (habéis leído bien, si), berenjena, calabacín, tomate, espárragos verdes, pimiento y algún que otro trozo de pollo, arroz casi caldoso. En fin, me guié de las 4.5* y debe ser que son conocidos porque dudo que alguien crea que eso es una paella. Para no volver, al menos el personal era amable y educado.

Tourist trap – very disappointing experience We waited over 90 minutes for our paella to arrive. When it finally came, it was just okay, definitely not the “exceptional” dish other reviews claim. They charge 4 € for a small bottle of water, which they don’t even open in front of you, so who knows if it’s actually bottled water. We asked for tap water and were told it was not possible. At the start, they bring you warm bread without mentioning that it’s not included, later, you discover a “service charge” per person on the bill for it. No one informed us about this in advance. Overall, it’s clearly a tourist trap. The food is average at best, prices are inflated, and the service feels deceptive. Don’t be fooled by the overly positive reviews, there are much better, more honest restaurants in the area.
