During a motorcycle trip, we stopped in Bobbio to visit the village and the famous Ponte Gobbo. We stopped for breakfast; the staff was friendly and quick, despite the crowds, to deliver our reservations. A must-try for lunch.

We had lunch today. Pumpkin ravioli with porcini mushroom ragù and macaroni alla bobbiese, divine!! Generous portions and everything was delicious. Even the meat, roast coppa with potatoes, was tender and flavorful. Delicious tiramisu. Reasonable prices for a mouth-watering menu. Friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

Ho pranzato con due persone all'esterno e siamo stati molto bene. Cibo fresco e buono: abbiamo preso quadrotti di zucca con burro e salvia, gnocchi di patate con Zola, gnocco fritto, culatello ben s…

Gita in Val Trebbia in pullman con mia moglie. Arrivati a Bobbio h. 11.45 abbiamo appuntamento al pullman h. 15,15 per visita del Borgo e pranzo libero. Visto tutto quello consigliato dall'Uff. Tur., ci rimane mezz'ora per l'ultimo sito e un boccone. Entriamo, consigliati da un libraio, al Giardino e la Signora capisce al volo. Ci prepara un tavolino e lì celebriamo maccheroni alla bobbiese e tortelli con la coda, Gutturnio, in men che non si scriva. Visitiamo la vicina chiesa che mancava e concludiamo un'esperienza culturale e gastronomica indimenticabile arrivando puntuali alla corriera. Grazie Bobbio, grazie Giardino!

I stumbled upon it by chance on a rainy day. The lunch was amazing, with authentic cuisine. I recommend the pasta alla bobbiese. In addition to the a la carte menu, I think there's a business menu. Many complain about the service; if you're looking for a place where you're pampered, this isn't the place for you. Since the clientele is mostly workers, so they prefer quick lunches, I found the service to be prompt and fast. The single dining room is very large but quiet. I'll definitely be back!

Coming to Bobbio, I booked for lunch. I ordered a trio of first courses. I'm not an expert on Piacenza dishes, but I'm sure you'll understand. The Bobbio-style macaroni was excellent. The pissarei and fasau were good. The porcini pine nuts were excellent. The pasta was excellent, but the mushrooms weren't exceptional for me (note: I'm a mushroom hunter). Good value. Informal atmosphere. Recommended.

In three people we spent €170 for lunch which seemed quite expensive to us. We also waited a long time to be served at the beginning then again waited a very long time for our second dishes. Great outdoor seating area, though.

Da evitare nei fine settimana per l'affollamento. I tortelli coi funghi molto buoni. Il servizio, pur nel casino di gente che c'era, è stato efficiente.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per necessità perché nei altri non accettavano i cani. Camere in stile molto vecchio, c'è il minimo indispensabile (manca il fon) Personale cortese è la colazione abbastanza buona. Anche se la brioche al cioccolato era con tanto di crema anche (forse sarà in stile tedesco) :)

Ho mangiato una volta e si è mangiato bene. La seconda volta invece il locale era pieno e fin li' tutto ok, però sicuramente c'è modo e modo di mandare via i clienti. Sicuramente con più gentilezza o quantomeno guardandoli in faccia. Quindi se avete i fatti vostri ,non prendetela con i clienti.

Cibo ottimo. Purtroppo una cosa che mi ha molto infastidito è stato vedere uno dei camerieri fumare per la sala mentre portava le pietanze anche se nel ristorante è esplicitato il cartello del divieto di fumare. Per il resto una cenetta tranquilla e calorosa. Il servizio non dei più veloci sicuramente rallentato dal fatto che mentre mangiavamo venivano serviti in un tavolo a parte quelli che presumo fossero i parenti del proprietario, non erano neanche troppo silenziosi si sono addirittura messi a guardare il Tg col volume un comportamento poco professionale. Si prega di istruire il personale ad una maggior educazione!! Norme covid rispettate parzialmente.

A great stop after a motorcycle ride with friends. The Giardino Bar and Restaurant offers a rustic and informal atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break. The dishes are traditional Piacenza dishes, flavorful but with portions and quality that don't fully justify the price, which was a bit high compared to expectations. The service was kind and friendly, and I understand that Bobbio is a popular stop for bikers, which perhaps affects the prices. Overall, a good stop, but with room for improvement.

The dining room staff were not very polite towards customers. Ten minutes after we sat down, we called a waitress's attention because we hadn't received our menus yet. She, annoyed, made a gesture as if to say, "I'm busy, can't you see?" Let me explain: if a customer sits down without a menu, they'll wait twice as long because by the time you're ready to take their order, they won't have a clue what you're serving, and so another 10 minutes will pass. The ABCs of hospitality. Tortelli were good, pisarei could be improved, but adequate. Two coffees, water, two first courses. €33.80. Menu prices: tortelli €12, pisarei €9, water €2, coffee €1.40, cover charge €2. Total €29.80. Dancing €4. The ABCs of math (and honesty). I remember being here several times, even on weekdays when the menu prices are half off. So be careful, because depending on who you are, how crowded it is, and when you visit, you might unexpectedly have to pay more. For goodness sake, a €4 "tip" won't change my life, but frankly, this place has gotten worse and worse over the years.

Siamo ritornati in questo ristorante dopo un anno e lo abbiamo trovato cambiato: ci siamo sentiti presi in giro , poiché esistono due menù con prezzi differenti ( uno più alto , maggiorato anche di tre euro per alcune proposte e uno più basso). Nonostante lo avessimo fatto notare ci è arrivato il conto con il menù con il prezzo più alto ( guarda caso!), anche le porzioni rispetto, al passato ,meno abbondanti . Peccato....

Dopo una bella giornata allegorica con carri e coriandoli siamo finiti su "Scherzi a parte"! Domenica sera ci fanno accomodare in una saletta e ci serve una "Sig.ra" che non si capiva se ci fosse, ci facesse o fosse in stato di alterazione . Arrivate le porzioni fredde e sbagliate, abbiamo mangiato un po', in silenzio e velocemente ce ne siamo andati. A mai più! Prezzi ALTISSIMI

We wait standing for 10 minutes... no one comes. We ask and they tell us to wait outside and they'll be there in ten minutes... we sit at the tables in front of the entrance and no one comes. We go inside and ask and they tell us to sit where the tables are set, so we sit... no one comes, but instead they go to take orders from people who arrived after us and sat where they had us moved. After a while, a waitress comes and gives us menus, but one of us doesn't want to eat the dishes but wants a toasted sandwich, so they tell us they don't serve sandwiches at the tables that are already set... we're at a loss and, after wasting 25 minutes being shuffled around, we decide to leave. Restaurateurs: when they get too busy, they start to not care about customers, only to cry when they're no longer working... Not recommended.

There were two of us, and they sat us inside because the place was full (which is understandable.... On the evening of August 15th, and late at night too). They gave us a list of what was left (.... That's all there is because we were attacked at lunch. And that's understandable too). The prices had clearly been adjusted for the occasion, but you know what I mean! But let's get to the point.....very meager portions and so-so quality (I personally couldn't eat the roast because it was too salty.....really too much!!!! Semifreddo.....it was just cold without seeds....we had to wait for it to defrost and cut with a knife. We paid way too much for the quality and quantity.....I wouldn't go back, and I'm sorry because we're bikers.
